Stay with Guissell

Our stay was lovely. You are right on the lake overlooking the volcano. You can have breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. We also played billiards with the locals. Great atmosphere

We lived almost in the middle of the family, all very warm and attentive. Were also very satisfied with the vehicle rental from you, went smoothly and quickly. All in all, we felt very comfortable and they have very good home cooking

We stayed for four nights, as my partner contracted a virus a few days before our arrival. We needed a peaceful place for her to rest and recover strength. achieved. The hosts were very kind, despite our lack of knowledge of Spanish. However, it was not a problem, they did their best to allow us a successful understanding. The place is located at the edge of the water and the sound of the waves has soothed us a lot. Although a family restaurant is not included in the accommodation, it offered excellent service and delicious food with large quantities. They also offer rental services for motorcycle scooters and quad bikes at competitive rates. You won't find it cheaper on the island. The room was very well ventilated and we will be happy to come back to our next vacation . Basically excellent value for money and we recommend thank you for everything!

The physical space of the accommodation is as shown in the photos. However, I think the best thing about this listing is the position it's in. The room is just 5 steps from the coastal strip.

The host and his family welcomed us very warmly. They will talk to you in spanish and english is a little bit difficult, but they are always trying to make the best out of our mediocre spanisch - but to improve our spanish skills it was the best! We were picked up right at the street, otherwise it would be a little bit difficult to find. The room was clean and directly at the beach. If you have a light sleep you should bring Oropax, because the wind is loud and constant. There are a lot of lovely dogs and a restaurant just around the corner. The waiter was always very friendly and the food was very good. We rented a scooter for the whole week and the price was fair :) Would definitly recommend going there!!

Solid accommodation, good for the price and the location is beautiful with beach views and direct access. The host family is wonderful and kind.

Super stay by the water. Enough winds so no mosquitoes and the restaurant serves good food. Staff incredibly friendly, you immediately feel at home. Nice spacious room and scooter rental possible. Totally top!

This was a dream vacation for my partner and I. Ometepe island is a paradise and my experience on the island was only made better by Guissell and Juan Carlos. They both made my partner and I feel right at home the second we got off the ferry. Their home is very peaceful and is right on the beach front. You are steps away from an incredible beach with fresh coconuts from the trees outside. They have the sweetest pups that love to play with you and will run into the water with you! I am not fluent in Spanish so their employee Giovanni helped translate to English which was a great help to us! He is helpful, kind, and approachable! My only issue was at the time we went, there was no hot water and the shower water was colder than expected. However, I do not expect that to be a recurring issue, it was a timing thing. I cannot wait to return to Ometepe and stay here again! It was the perfect location with great hosts and staff. I highly recommend and miss the place dearly already!

Beautiful accommodation, great location right on the water :) and close to the most beautiful part of the island to explore this! You can also rent a scooter from the property. Very kind hosts who often inquire about our well-being!
