The place is in a good location for walking to downtown Puerto Viejo. It is quiet and has parking, but it lacks a fence for more security. The room was very tidy and clean

Excellent place, everything was very clean and tidy. The only thing I didn't like, which is not the management's fault, was the street, which is in very poor condition, although any car can get to the place; you have to drive slowly because of all the potholes in the street.

The accommodation is as shown in the photos, with a great location to get around the area. The only drawback is that the kitchen did not have gas, so we could not use it during the stay. There were no basic supplies such as oil or salt in the kitchen either, and there was no spare toilet paper. Otherwise, everything was clean and great value for money.

Great location, very close to downtown Puerto Viejo. The hosts always respond quickly and they are very friendly. Quiet, comfortable place. Exactly as seen in the photos.

Everything is as described. The apartment is modern and spacy. However, we were a bit unlucky with the weather. It rained a lot and that‘s probably the reason why we permanently had big cockroaches in this modern apartment; like everyday at least 2-3 fat ones. That was of course not cool, but also no super big issue. Also, the bathroom door could not be closed. Anyway, it was more annoying for us that Wifi was permanently not working. It was either super slow or didnt work at all. The host was super responsive, but in the end she also couldnt do much against the issues. The whole apartment feels quite „sterile“ overall: no pictures on the wall, very aggressive lightning, only the bare minimum furniture. The owner fixed some issues that were mentioned earlier (like privacy through the windows, mirrors), but there is still some room to make it actually cozy. After all, it was an okay deal for us and we would probably come back

Fue un gusto que nos eligieran, lamento mucho que durante tu estancia fuera temporada de lluvia y que esa situación provocara caídas en el internet, asimismo te comento que para nosotros como anfitriones fue muy lamentable el tema de las cucarachas ya que como bien lo dices son apartamentos modernos y muy cuidados, además de que somos muy estrictos con el tema de limpieza y aunque pueda que una semana entera de lluvia lo hubiera provocado inmediatamente después de tu check out se procedió a contratar una empresa especializada en fumigación para la tranquilidad de nuestros huéspedes. Asimismo, agradezco que confirmes que nuestro espacio es exactamente a las fotografías.

Very beautiful and tidy property, quiet location but the road to it from the main road is not the most comfortable. The host was very nice and quick to respond, brought us an extra towel and paper we asked for. One thing that made us a bit of a bad taste on departure - our bus was at 1pm check out at 11am, we asked to leave later and were told that due to a cleaning had to be out on time, we only asked to leave my wife's medication in the fridge until we left (medications that must be refrigerated - diabetes) and here we also got a negative response. We sat outside the apartment for an hour and a half and no cleaner came. Beyond that, our stay was just fine.

A lovely place, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hostess is extremely attentive and ensures that everything is in order for guests. The only detail to consider is that access to the place could be improved, since the street is not paved, which can be an inconvenience for some. However, this aspect does not obscure the overall experience as it is a great place to stay and enjoy Puerto.

Te comento, las calles aledañas al centro de Puerto Viejo no están asfaltadas y en nuestro caso el acceso a Altamar pese a no estar asfaltado puedes llegar sin maltratar tu automóvil, el acceso permite desde vehículo bajo hasta bicicletas o incluso caminando ya que estamos muy cerca del centro.

The apartment is just like the photographs, the person in charge was always kind and responded quickly to my messages. Located quite close to the old port center, walking about 10min maybe likewise it has parking and the road is in good condition, an option to consider on our next vacation.

Unfortunately, we couldn't close our bathroom door because the door was slanted. For cooking we only had one frying pan and it had no kitchen towels, just an already used sponge. Otherwise, the place was very clean and tidy. Those who are afraid of insects should book the apartment, as the insects can't really hide behind furniture, etc. 🤝🏼

Great location, walkable to city center. Hot water, AC, and modern design. If you’re looking to cook probably not the best option as they only provide the very basic kitchenware and minimal towels. We managed but wasn’t the best experience compared to other airbnbs of the same size.

The stay was very nice. The apartment was secluded and quiet, yet everything is very easy to walk to. Unfortunately, the rooms are hardly decorated and therefore a little cool. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen. If you plan to stay longer in Puerto Viejo, you can't go wrong with this place.

Good location, quiet place, however the bathroom drains emitted a strong sewage smell. Regarding check-in I had the inconvenience that the address of the location of the place to use in Waze is inaccurate, I had to use the address that the host sent me through messages, which was different from the silver one in the listing. I would recommend installing curtains in the kitchen sale to improve the privacy of all the rooms.

This place was amazingly located in Puerto Viejo, close to everything however private enough not to hear the noise on the streets, Jimenez was responsive and helpful. We had a wedding to attend to and she was kind enough to lend us a iron when we needed it. Apartments look just like the pictures and are quite new. I only had a couple of issues, I was never able to cook as the gas stove never worked, despite following the instructions provided by the host and sheets on the bedroom were dirty specially the pillows, they had some make up stains (or so it looked like it).

The apartment was very clean, the location great. Not far to the center, still quiet. Unfortunately, it always smelled of drain from the bathroom,which was already very penetrating We stayed there for two nights and cooked Since we kindly got new towels, we would have liked if the trash can had been emptied. Unfortunately, due to the heat, he smelled. If we had known where we could empty the trash can, we would have done it ourselves.

Would definitely stay here again. Place was spotless. Jimenez was super responsive and gave a few amazing recommendations for food and transport. Might recommend adding a curtain to the large front window though, as you could see into a lot of the bedroom from the outside. Also a mirror in the bathroom would be nice. But those are just nitpicks! Thanks for a great stay in puerto viejo!

Everything very clean and tidy, like the pictures. We had a problem with the door but they resolved us quickly. The bathroom even though it was clean, it smelled maybe coming from the pipes. Unique complaint: no mirror!!!

Excellent accommodation in Puerto Viejo, less than 10 minutes walk from the center and at the same time in a very quiet and quiet place at night. The apartments are new and well equipped, in our case we had problems with the air conditioning but the host did his best to find a solution for us and in less than an hour it was already working perfectly.

I’d like to say that Jimenez’s place was everything that she said it would be! Beautiful bright and spacious home to accommodate you. Everything in town that you want to see is just a 6 min walk up a beautiful path aligned with the prettiest trees. You will be woken up to the sounds of monkeys, birds, dogs, chickens but you will get that everywhere on this side of CR! And being that it gets dark out here around 5-6pm it’s good to have a natural alarm clock to get your day started! I came here with my son and we had a blast! I’d recommend this space to anyone coming to the Puerto Viejo area. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Jimenez for having me and my family and even letting us extend a day. Thanks again for having us!
