We had an excellent stay in this beautiful and peaceful oasis close to all that Oaxaca has to offer. We came for a writing retreat and enjoyed the beautiful shared spaces, the terraces and the privacy of each of the rooms. The regular cleaning service is fantastic too. Highly recommend. Great for groups.

Great location close to the center and many restaurants and shops. We used their driver for a short trip to buy alebrijes and to return to the airport. Very helpful.

Katsumi’s place is beautiful! So aesthetic and clean. A great place to come back to after exploring the city or trying a great meal.

We were delighted to stay in this lovely house which is very well located, in the heart of the historic district of Oaxaca. Everything is within walking distance of the house, which is close to excellent bakeries and delicious restaurants. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and modern. The terrace upstairs is very nice for relaxing. The welcome by the host was really great with wise advice. The daily cleaning is a very pleasant plus. Finally, there are public car parks nearby at reasonable prices (but beware of some that are not professional and overcharge). Parking in front of the delicious Levadura de Olla restaurant was perfect (max 10 min walk from the house).

Lovely and unique apartment. The en suite bedrooms are completely separated. A great experience.

Our stay was very good. The location is perfect, a few meters from downtown and tourist attractions. The house is very clean, excellent design and service. You can rest very well. I highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Casa Bravo for our first visit to Oaxaca. The location was perfect- quiet, easy and walkable to many of the cute streets, sites and restaurants! The rooms were clean and tasteful, and we felt very safe in the home! The area is quiet and just a short walk from the busier areas of the centro. Amazing bakery right around the corner! All her recommendations for tour guides, car services, and even the on call doctor were perfect! We had Flor, her recommended tour guide for 2 days and it was super easy, helpful and comfortable. 10/10!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Brava. The rooms are so well equipped for comfort and rest after a day wandering the streets of Oaxaca. We loved making breakfast in the kitchen, out of the bright early morning sun and then enjoying sunsets on the rooftop terrace later in the day. The design of the building is so perfect for the space - each room feels like its own private oasis and the communal spaces are generously spacious with spectacular views. Only a short uphill walk to the end of the street from the central district of Oaxaca you're safely inside the peaceful surrounds of Casa Brava where you can relax and recharge. I would definitely stay here again!

Wow! 🤩 My family and I absolutely loved our stay. It felt like a private boutique hotel. The rooms were all wonderful and well appointed. The roof patio had the most gorgeous views, great for reading with some mezcal. And the location was perfect—close to everything but also private. We can’t wait to come back!!

The host was responsive from the moment of booking, and helped answer all of our questions pre-travel and during our stay. The place is tucked away in a cul de sac, very private and quiet, but just a walk away from restaurants and shops. Pictures dont do this place justice, the property is very tasteful, modern, clean, and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home.

Katsumi and Yoya’s place is serene, peaceful, beautifully decorated and perfectly located in town. Very clean and well equipped with plenty of amenities. The daily cleaning service is also a wonderful plus. Definitely recommend! Don’t hesitate to book!

The house is very modern and clean with a great view from the terraces. We were working while there and the large table on the roof terrace was a great place for that. Katsumi was very responsive and communicative. Would stay here again.

Absolutely delightful stay. Home is in a quiet cul de sac, but within blocks of everything Oaxaca offers. Rooms are independent, and tastefully decorated, while bathrooms are comfortable, with all amenities (including Toto bidet). Terrace and open living and dining rooms. Get the sensory experience of touching the walls: the house uses a unique prehispanic stucco, made of clay and opuntia cactus sap. This alone should tell you how attentive Katsumi is to details in this beautifully appointed home.
