A special place, surrounded by nature and incredible landscapes, all on the most beautiful lake in the world, Dita and Amilcar are super attentive, an experience worth living if you travel to Atitlan, Guatemala.

This is our second stay at The Artist's Loft and it was just as peaceful as the first time in 2017. The view is breathtaking and I feel the best view of Lake Atitlan. The house is spacious, sunny and airy. I enjoyed the firm bed. The staff, Dorca, Milka and Nathanael were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed reading on the deck and had almost all our meals there. I became friends with the parrot Victoria and became attached to her. Everytime I saw her she made me laugh. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay at Casa Rosada. Nathanael and Dita are very welcoming and attentive to every need. Highly recommended.

Ditas place was a perfect getaway for me and my family which included my 2 children and my parents. We had a wonderful time, the property is beautiful and serene, delicious breakfasts.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. We could not be more pleased!! Dita is a wonderful host and has a beautiful property. She has great attention to detail. We could use her kayak and kayaked across the lake. She made us a delicious organic dinner on evening. Fabulous wine. She arranged for her yoga instructor to come and give me a private lesson along with a Mayan reading. He was so kind. She also arranged for a helicopter to come and pick my husband and I up to take us to the airport!!! Details!! Also the location is nice. You can walk into town, there are lots of stairs on the property. She has a dock and you can catch boats into the other towns. We felt safe and will come back!!

We stayed at upper house, 4 adults plus Pet. we had a good time and good weather. Food quality was really good and even best, if compared with surroundings places. You will need one day at least to enjoy and relax in Casa Rosada.

My stay at Ditas was fabulous. She was extremely helpful arranging a driver and boats from Antigua and Pana and back and had amazing recommendations. The cottage was a perfect place for me to rest and regroup - extremely well equipped with amazing views, quiet, private, and just a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay in the loft! The views are spectacular, the kitchen is well equiped so we were able to make most of our meals and enjoy them on the deck with the stunning view. We were happy with the privacy of the loft while also being within walking distance to San Marcos. Dita was very easy to reach if we needed anything which was great. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by an outstanding crew who helped us with our bags and carried them up the hill to the loft. Dita met us and showed us to the loft which is nestled on a hill in one of the most inspiring designs i have ever stepped foot in. vantage points from any angle of the craftily designed loft offers breathtaking views of the lake. We felt completely safe sleeping with our doors open at night. We had a five course dinner at the restaurant prepared with organic ingredients with a bottle of wine. The price for dinner was well below what you would expect to pay for such unique dishes and service. Also a good note, 30% of what you pay for dinner goes to help local children in need. Breakfast was included both days of our stay and we ate on the dock the first morning and on the beach the second. Breakfast consisted of fresh organic fruit, coffee with perfectly frothed milk and fresh baked bread and organic eggs. Did i mention that the bread is baked fresh daily! All of the staff is amazing and were there to help us with any issue. Dita arranged a private boat taxi to take us to where we wanted to go, and they waited for us to shop, eat and explore. The private boat took us to several stops around the lake and were prompt and on time. This beats the public taxi as they make frequent stops and the rides are often crowded, making for an extra bumpy ride to your destination. The morning we left, we were taken back to panajachel by the same arranged taxi which made things super easy for us. Next time we return to Atitlan, we will be sure to stay at Casa Rosada again!

I live in Antigua and have gone to the lake many times... Dita's place was my favorite place I've ever stayed. The home is beautiful and very well designed. Everything is high quality and comfortable and the views are incredible. Dita is an amazing host and having breakfast and dinner on the dock was so special. Book this place.

Ok so let me calmly explain how much I loved this place without sounding overzealous. The beauty of this place simply can never be captured in photos and believe me I’ve tried. The views are insanely stunning and calming. The home is a luxurious cabin, loft, den home out of a home magazine. I loved everything from the paint colors to the simple decor to the lack of television. The place is immaculately clean and that’s incredibly important to me. I went for a bday weekend and I was spoiled rotten. When I arrived dita was away with a family emergency but had her sweet kind staff meet me and settle me in. I had dinner served from the on site restaurant delivered to the table you see in the pic and meticulously set up with wine, bread, and a four course meal with candle light. Was in heaven!!! Did I mention the cost of said meal was almost a joke how inexpensive it was. The next am I had breakfast delivered to me as well and again fresh cut fruits of papaya and watermelon fresh and delish, with omelette and fresh baked bread with fresh coffee. That night she invited me to dinner and I’m certain I would’ve had the time or my life but missed it as I was exhausted. Had coffee with her the next am before I left. I only had a few days here but with the insane beauty of this place and the hospitality you can be sure I will be back with friends. Did I mention she kindly planned my stay and gave me the greatest advise on how to spend my time and how to get around? I’m obsessed with her and this marvelous place if you can’t tell. Do yourselves a favor and don’t stay anywhere shut this gem of a home !!!! Thanks for a heavenly 38 th bday. !!!!

We had a wonderful time at Anzan! The grounds and accommodations were beautiful and well-maintained. It is true that the pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake and volcanoes from this property are also stunning - after traveling around to the various towns, I think this was the most beautiful view as well. Speaking of getting around, San Marcos is just a quick walk (or quicker tuk tuk), and if you need to go to the other towns, the boats come by frequently. We took the kayak for a spin in the morning, and the lake was cool and calm. We also had dinner one night and it was fabulous. The courses were well chosen and all crafted to perfection. Dita was a wonderful host and immediately made us feel at home, and was so helpful. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, carefree time at Lake Atitlan. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
