Had the most wonderful time here. It's a quirky property and we loved it. So spacious. Fantastic kitchen for cooking. Lovely cooling pool. Sitting out on the porch in a rocking chair watching the storms was beautiful. Absolutely no complaints!

Beautiful home in a great location. For a large group/family or guests who really want to spread out and have your own space, this place is perfect. One of the most well stocked Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in, they really thought of everything. The location can’t be beat, right in the heart of the jungle. There’s a huge tree in the road right in front of the house where we saw soooo many Scarlet Macaws fly into and roost for the night- maybe a top 5 experience in my entire life. Also saw squirrel monkeys (they didn’t visit the porch, sadly), toucans, agoutis etc, and we were only there for two nights! We had a slight snafu but it was handled quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic accommodation with plenty of space and all the comforts. Of course, a beautiful pool and great views over the jungle. Unfortunately, no monkeys were seen there, but in the distance there were toucans and parrots flying overhead. For a night tour, you have to book Finca Salamandra. This is on private property with a route. It's two hours with a very knowledgeable guide who takes plenty of time for beautiful photos.

Loved our stay! The space was beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature, and the host was friendly and helpful. Only thing of note is that the apartment is up a long flight of stairs at the top of a very steep hill, and our truck struggled a little with the hill. Not unmanageable at all, but worth knowing, especially if you have issues with climbing stairs. But well worth it, if you're ok with that! Would definitely stay here again!

This is real gem. We have travelled a lot and this is probably the nicest Airbnb we have stayed at. Everything was perfect, the views are stunning. Highly recommend this place. Only downside for us was that we didn’t stay long enough.

The house and area surrounding it was beautiful. There was a waterfall close by and beaches were just a few minutes away by car. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. We saw lots of Iguanas, Scarlet Macaws, and Monkeys, all without leaving the property. We would stay here again if we returned to Quepos in the future.

I can’t say enough great things about this house. We felt so safe in a private gated community. We had so much wildlife come right to the house including two different species of monkeys that really put on a show for us. A coatimundis that grazed on the hill in front of the house for a few hours. The windows are fabulous all throughout the house which really made us feel like we had the full beauty of the jungle at all times including the beautiful bathroom. We really enjoyed the short hike to the waterfall on the property, it was way more than what we expected and a beautiful swimming hole with blue water. The creek runs along the house and could hear the beautiful sound but one night we had a lot of rain and the waterfall was flowing really good for two days which was even more enjoyable. The house was also well stocked and pool and patio cleaned every morning. Location was perfect. Close to the marina, shops, beaches, restaurants and Manuel Antonio but quiet and secluded.

The place had an amazing view and had all the essentials you can possibly think making it feel like your own home. I really enjoyed my time here. However, it is very high so my recommendation bring a big car to go up the hill. The host was super attentive and responsive to every question i had.

This villa in the Antonia manual estates was one of the highlights of our 15 day Costa Rica excursion The beds felt clean, brisk and was done with premium bedding. The pans are high quality and they even left some condiments available that one may need. I truly appreciate the daily outdoor cleaning service to the villa, the fresh floral arrangements and the gifted fruit basket. We highly recommend this spacious and beautiful home set inside a private residence with a 24 hour guardsman and lush well managed gardens. The area had great attractions, our favorite was the national park where we had monkeys trying to interact with us. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. This accommodation added so much value to our trip! Book it.

Great place to stay. Close enough to everything in town yet secluded enough to be at peace. Pool was great to come back to at end of the day. And the sounds of howler monkeys was exciting. Would definitely come back! Pura Vida!

This house was a great location and absolutely stunning. The views from the pool are nothing short of amazing. The concierge service was incredible and very responsive. You will not be disappointed with this house!

The home is just as it's described. It's nestled back in the jungle, making it private and peaceful, yet close to Quepos. As a host myself, I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness of the host team. Everyone from the team, to security, and maintenance was friendly and always had a smile! The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are large and nicely appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. As other reviewers have noted- there is no aircon in the main area. You can easily remedy this by leaving both air conditioners on in the bedrooms and running all ceiling fans. The home is situated, like most homes, up a steep driveway. I had no issues getting up and down it, with 4x4; or a power walk, which is a great calf, quad, and glut workout🥰 Yes, packing practical shoes (not just cheap flip flops are advised) I had great traction with my chaco’s and even my OluKais(both outside by the pool and walking up the hill). Magica!! The home is amazing!

Apartment with all the comforts to make you feel at home. Clean, comfortable beds and good views. The monkeys welcomed us and we loved it. We used the laundry service and it was perfect, at a good price. The bus that goes to Manuel Antonio stops 200 meters away, which was great for us. We couldn't enjoy the pool because some tenants were vaping and listening to music, which bothered us quite a bit.

Julio’s place was absolutely amazing every thing was perfect, really comfortable house, spacious but everything on the same level which was great, location in the middle of the jungle to allow us to observe wildlife in the best way you could ever imagine, you actually see more animals and wildlife sitting on the balcony or by the pool than visiting any of the national parks, we found the house equipped with everything you need so you feel like at home, we would definitely return when we next visit Quepos, thanks Julio for our great vacation!

Beautiful location

The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed that there was a bathroom attached to each room. What really makes this home stand out is the pool and outdoor space and the breath taking view! The pool was warm and we spent a lot of time out there just taking in the beauty around us. The pictures don’t do it justice. The hosts were fantastic and helpful with recommendations and clear instructions as well. As others have said, the drive up the driveway is daunting but that’s the trade off you get for the view. This home would be better suited if you have a car. We did not rent one so we did have to hire taxis to go anywhere but they were readily available. Everything we wanted to do was close and a quick taxi ride. Would definitely recommend this home. We had a fantastic time! Thank you for hosting us!

The house is a dream; the view is phenomenal. We were completely overwhelmed. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped. A welcome with fresh fruits and coffee. You need a car to get there. It goes steeply uphill. The pool is beautiful and is also cleaned twice a week. The contact was very friendly and helpful. We can only highly recommend it to everyone!

It exceeded my expectations! The place is nicer than what you see in the photos It's a very cozy place, nice and full of vegetation. When the host found out that we were traveling with a baby, he left us a crib. What a nice touch!

I stayed here with my 3 teenagers for 5 nights. We all absolutely loved it. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our villa was comfortable, well stocked and we saw monkeys and iguanas every day. Our pool was cleaned daily for us and they put out 2 brand new hammocks for us that we enjoyed daily. The kind people in villa were so responsive with every request and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hidden waterfall on the property was a favorite for my son. If we are ever fortunate to return to this area, we would absolutely stay here again.

Casa Heron is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. We saw monkeys, iguanas, lizards and birds from the house and had a coati come right up to us at the side of the pool. Julio was an excellent host. We had a very small issue (replacement batteries required for the AC) which Julio sorted out immediately. The only down side is the very steep hill up to the house which was slippy when wet. All in all we loved it here and didn’t want to leave.

Had a lovely stay at Villa Mot Mot! The house was very spacious, clean, well appointed, and the fresh fruit on the table was a nice surprise. each bedroom had air-conditioning and the beds were comfy. Having a washer dryer available was also very handy for our family. Julio checked in with us during the stay to make sure everything was as it should be. It was just our family and we had more than enough room, but there is also a long driveway and parking area if more were staying here. While relaxing in the pool, we saw all kinds of birds around. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to stay again!

Casa Quetzal is wonderful. We loved every space in the house. It is very spacious, has a lot of privacy, and you can feel the tranquility everywhere. The pictures don't do it justice, since it's more beautiful in person. Don't hesitate to book your stay at this house. Thank you very much for all the attention. The place was very clean with all the necessary conditions for a good weekend. It was well equipped. The view was spectacular. The pool was clean. The common areas were very spacious. The bedrooms were very nice. Everything was fine.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villas! We loved the location so easy to get to all the main attractions and beaches but also felt very peaceful and out of the hustle of things. We saw so much wildlife sitting on the porch. Monkeys came by every night and was our absolute favorite part of the trip watching them play. The pool was refreshing. The unit itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The mattresses were a little more firm then my taste but such a small detail in an amazing place to stay!

We had a brilliant stay at Casa Colibri - the the view over the rainforest is amazing throughout and the layout is excellent, with shaded outdoor seating and the pool also getting some shade later in the day. Kitchen was very well kitted out making self catering very easy. All communication and tips for supermarkets and parking super helpful. We’d recommend!

This was a great place to base ourselves while we were exploring Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We heard many birds and even had a pair of Tucans come and visit us on the tree branches outside the living room window. It is a very cozy place with its two bedrooms and the living room is very comfortable. The pool was very nice to take a dip in after a busy day. The fruit and coffee that were provided were very nice. The one parking space is very difficult to get into and will put a test to your driving skills and relationship lol but we got it down after a couple tries. We enjoyed Raindrop Spa for a massage session, which was amazing and walkable within the same community. We would definitely stay here again. Be ready for some steep walking climbs if you’re going to be walking in and out of the community though, but the views were worth it!!

Host, Julio, and Co-host, Viviana, were extremely responsive and kind. They answered all my questions and concerns and recommended much more thereafter for the surrounding areas such as restaurants and activities. Taxi service entering the secured gated community was very easy as well in which the taxis arrived within 5 mins or less upon request with the number provided by host/co-host. The one thing I will be aware of is that it is not quite walkable and the hills to the Airbnb were a bit steep. Requesting a car to this home and leaving the home is best. I would absolutely recommend staying in this beautiful and spacious home or any other property under Julio and Viviana!

This place was fabulous for my family of 4 (2 teens). Each kid had their own bedroom and bathroom. The property is beautiful and location is great with access to many different activities! We had a family of capuchins visit one evening, and there is a black spiny-tailed iguana that hides out in the backyard! Saw many other lizards and my Merlin app picked up numerous bird calls. Would definitely recommend this property!

Loved staying here. The only thing I would recommend is to wear mosquito bracelets at night because bugs do get into the home.

Lovely and very comfortable home. Nice for our family of four. The kids enjoyed the giant bathtub and being able to see monkeys frolicking from the living room windows. The property is right next to a bus stop which we took to easily access Manuel Antonio National Park. We’d happily return!

This place is heaven on Earth! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a more beautiful place. We only got to enjoy it for one night but oh my goodness - perfection! Do not hesitate!!!

We loved our week at this beautiful home. The views were amazing! We loved the pool and the outdoor area, which we used every day. I especially loved seeing the scarlet macaws in the morning. The home was very clean and spacious. The hosts were very responsive. There is a beautiful waterfall just a short hike away, which we enjoyed. I cannot recommend this home enough!

Great location, convenient access to public transportation, ample restaurants and things to do all while providing a quiet, private neighborhood. The local wildlife was incredible, watching the monkeys play in the trees and hammock right outside our window made this an unforgettable stay.

This house was perfect. My favorite thing was to lie in the pool and just look up at all the tall trees and greenery. After 2 days I felt better and relaxed. The monkeys in the trees in the early evening were such a treat. At night we could hear a Howler monkey, so cool. I love to listen to birds and was delighted at all the exotic sounds the Merlin App picked up. The house is really comfortable with everything we needed, very clean. We loved watching the world cup games. The location is a perfect base to all the area has to offer. Appreciated the basket of fruit when we arrived. My husband and son walked to get pizza one night. Loved the open plan and spacious feel of the house. Appreciated being able to do laundry too. Cannot recommend enough, the host is super quick to respond and communicate.

The house is amazing, comfortable and spacious. I would come back many more times. We had a chance to see monkeys and woodpeckers right by the pool… quite a spectacle :) In my case, the only issue was the hill. Although it says so in the description, I think that upon arrival the difficulty can be a surprise for many, since it is full of moss and the car slips. Even going down on foot is dangerous. It really isn't for a novice driver. On the other hand, the blender didn't work. Everything else was impeccable :)

Excellent place. They know the standards of hospitality because everything was clean and had the right tools. Very eco-friendly and quiet. We were greeted with a basket of fruit and coffee. We are very grateful. 🌈💚

Out of all the places I stayed during my Costa Rica trip, this was my favorite! it had everything - pool, washer/dryer, AC, TV, seasonings for cooking, pool floaties. it was very clean upon arrival and had a great view of the mountains. we were also lucky enough to be visited by a few squirrel monkeys who passed by in the near trees! they were adorable.

The apartment is very good and located in a quiet area. Access to the pool is a plus. The kitchen is well equipped. Julio responds very quickly to our questions. Thanks for our stay

Superb air b and b - one of the best we have ever stayed in if not the best. Clean, stylish, amazing pool but the view was the star. You could not fault this place - literally amazing. Sad to leave - it’s a long flight for us but worth it for this place

This was easily one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The view was impeccable (and totally private), the house was completely stocked with everything you could need, and the pool was amazing. I wish I could have stayed much longer!

We stayed for 3 nights as a family, and the stay in the house was simply exceptional. We enjoyed Playa Espadilla as well as a visit to Manuel Antonio Park. To avoid parking problems, we parked the car near the agency's reception (secure parking) and took the bus 150 m from the agency, which was convenient. The house was very well laid out and decorated; nothing was missing. And besides, in order to fully enjoy the accommodation and the pool, we chose to cook on site. But what a joy to enjoy such a view of the rainforest; you never get tired of it. A true haven of peace in the heart of nature.

The house was nice and very big. We saw monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds and other animals from the balcony and pool area. There are a lot of exterior doors (at least 6) including a bedroom with a sliding door right out to the pool deck, this was not a problem for our family but something to know if you’re traveling with small children. The pool was nice and although other houses were nearby it still felt private and in the middle of the jungle. The team was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful.

Villa Mot Mot was a perfect holiday getaway at the edge of local town and the jungle. You felt very close to the nature and not too far from local services. Close to restaurants and mini-supermarkets. The private waterfall was unic and special. The steep elevation changes were introduced to us as new to Costa Rica, but that is nothing special in this area. We got used to it in no time. I can recommend. The monkeys were cute.

The place was beautiful. We rented it last min for a spontanious trip & only were there for 16hrs. 3 bedrooms, 2 /private on suite bathrooms. I asked concierge to turn the a/c on about 20 mins before we arrived which I'm glad I did. Upstairs w/the kitchen, living & 3rd bedroom were still kinda warm. The spiral staircase was pretty but not my favorite thing so when I wanted to go downstairs to where the kids were & the other sitting area I used the outside staircase off the kitchen, much safer for me. The pool was nice, clean & cool. It is not heated & a bit difficult to get in the round part. The larger part was about 5ft deep & the round part still deep but not as deep. The staff were super friendly & spoke English extremely well. The community is gated with friendly security at the entrance to let you in & out. The shower water was hot & at least the upstairs bathroom sink had hot water too (I didn't use the other sinks). Many restaurants driveable. 5AM-HOWLER MONKEYS SAID WAKE-UP!

Casa Macaw was wonderful. We were able to see a lot of iguanas, toucans and a family of monkeys on the hill in the distance. The home was so comfortable and a great location. We had a wonderful stay! Julio’s place is beautiful, and he was super helpful and responsive with local recommendations and helpful tips. The pool was nice to have and it was very convenient to get to all of our activities nearby. I would also recommend 4 wheel drive as the hill to the place is a little steep, but we didn’t have an issue with it. I would highly recommend staying here!

For the Quepos/ Manuel Antonio area this place is great. The hosts are responsive, there is security, and it is VERY clean! It has a private pool and has everything you will need. We saw so much wildlife right from our porch and windows. There is a waterfall on site that we wish we could’ve visited (just be ready for a hike). It’s close enough into the town of Quepos and you can walk into town, and the drive to Manuel Antonio isn’t very far. The only tricky part is the uphill drive to park to at the home. Besides that everything else was great. Would stay again.

Casa Colibri was spectacular! The view from the patio was breathtaking. Julio was very responsive and kind. I read a lot of reviews about the drive. It is totally doable…It just seems a bit much the first time but we drove up and down the road to Casa Colibri multiple times a day with our 4x4 Ford Everest without any issues. It is worth it!

A beautiful air bnb. Loved the 24-7 security and that there was AC and a washer and dryer. We also saw monkeys, sloths, geckos, frogs and iguanas during our stay here. ❤️

We had a really nice stay at Julio’s place. The accommodations were exactly as described. The driveway was a little challenging so a 4x4 is definitely recommended. The location was very close to Manuel Antonio where there are a lot of great restaurants and beautiful beaches.

It's a good place. It's a private property that seems to be in the middle of the jungle. It feels like a very safe place. The parking lot for the car is small and on a slope. It's a bit of a struggle to park just because there's a lot of gravel and the street is very steep, and the car skids. The place is very clean and has all the amenities, so you don't need anything else. Every morning we had encounters with the monkeys, which gives you a good experience. The only downside was that due to the rain, the power went out several times at night in the whole area. Everything else was a good experience. Yes, I would recommend it.
