Our stay at Casa Rosada with Henri was wonderful! The accommodations were great - the cabin was perfect size for 2 travelers, property was amazingly beautiful, and the pool was great for a refreshing dip! Henri is so friendly and responsive and met all our needs. His BBQ ribs are also AMAZING! :)

We had a great time staying at Casa Rosada. It’s off the beaten path but very close and walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, yoga, etc. We liked that it was quiet and peaceful for the times we wanted to chill on the front patio in the hammock in the morning or for an afternoon siesta. It was very clean and safe and had all the amenities that we needed. The bed was stiffer than we’re used to - the one and only downside. Henri was friendly and made us feel welcome with just the right amount of interaction, even inviting us to a BBQ. Overall, we highly recommend staying here!

Casa Rosada is fantastic! The location is great, the grounds and lodging comfortable and tranquil, there is a great balance between privacy and community, and Henri was welcoming, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend visiting!

My partner and I stayed in a small casita with Henri for 4 nights. Right from the start, we felt very welcome. The cheerful Henri personally checked us in and briefly presented the Casita to us. Our cottage basically had everything you need - fridge, air conditioning, 2 fans and a well-equipped kitchen. The shower was impeccable. In our opinion, the mattress was slowly a bit worn out. It had many nocturnal ants, which, however, is probably unavoidable due to the location in nature. The landlord Henri lives on the same property, is often encountered and therefore always ready to help in case there are any problems. The nights were quiet and pleasant for us. The short walk (4 min.) to the beach is unbeatable. The value for money is really good. Thanks Henri for your delightful hospitality! Pura Vida

It was clean, quiet, safe and cool. It was amazing that we were in the middle of it all, but since we were off the main street, it was peaceful. Henri was a fantastic host—super helpful, and also respectful of our privacy. We highly recommend visiting the animal sanctuary (SIBU) and also booking a hiking and birdwatching tour through the website Viator. Victor was our guide and we loved him! We also highly recommend Sunrise Cafe for breakfast, which is in Playa Pelada, and Al Chile Mexican food for the best guacamole I have ever had. The beach is beautiful and it seems as though the whole town comes out for the star of the show—sunset.

At Henri’s you drop into a community of people who love the area and are happy to share their favorite recommendations. The cabins are cozy and the grounds are landscaped to provide just enough privacy. As a first timer to Nosara this was the perfect place to stay!

Henri was the perfect host. The toaster initially wasn't working and when I mentioned this, it was replaced immediately. The coffee pot also decided to fail, and that was replaced. Great host, great location and I'll be back.

We can’t wait to return! We saw monkeys and butterflies in the private oasis of Casa Rosada. The pictures don’t do it justice. The landscaping is lovely and the cabins are spotless, comfortable and Henri is an outstanding host. We had a very late arrival due to travel challenges and Henri was waiting with a flashlight in the street to help guide us. He takes great care of his property and guests. We walked to shops, restaurants, market and beach. We were in the heart of town yet private and very safe. We surfed, did canopy tour in nearby town and toured waterfalls. Most spectacular sunsets. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent 12 days at this beautiful place and would like to thank Henri. We had a great time, loved the BBQ you made for the whole Rosada guest. We really appreciated the included laundry service. Thanks Sandro, Stéphanie & Lina PS: Sorry Henri, we missed you to say goodbye

Casa Rosada is a really beautiful property complex with several cabins and an apartment building and a pool situated together on it. Private fence and parking made it feel very secure, although Nosara is already a super peaceful town to begin with! The gardens, walkways and communal gazebo space are all so lovely and the monkeys passing through the trees every morning overhead was the best! We loved visiting with all the friendly guests. We had initially booked a cabin, but it wasn’t available. Henry let me know and asked if I still wanted it and even allowed me to take a look at it, which was very accommodating. It wasn’t the ideal space that we were looking for (rooms not very private as it was right along the main walkway), but it was nice enough for us to choose it, and we stayed in it and enjoyed ourselves! There are a lot of great amenities, including laundry, pool, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor shower. It’s conveniently located close to the local mini market and restaurants

I enjoyed a great stay at Casa Rosada. Henri is a great host - always available and ready to help. The cabins are rustic but charming and with everything you need. The property is great - plenty of space, common areas to hang with other guests, a nice pool. And you can't beat the location. Highly recommended.

Henri was very responsive and had Hector help us with check-in and any other questions we had. Location was great and we were close to everything!

Perfect spot to stay if you want to be close to town by foot, but tucked back behind a canopy of jungle. Secure, close to beach, private. Really awesome casitas. For a solo traveler or couple, it was the perfect size. Private patio was perfect. If you’re like me and bored by everything being sparkling new and shiny, and want thoughtful, authentic, updated and comfortable — this is the spot!

Clean, safe, comfortable with quick walk to beach and restaurants. Rental car is not needed. Solid basics.

we loved our month long stay at casa rosada--henri is helpful and friendly without being over solicitous--he and the other guests felt like family within a weeks time and we were safe and secure within our little community--his head of housekeeping , jackie was sweet and at hand to assist with any needs in that department and hector , his handyman--turned out to be a wealth of local knowledge and happy to answer our numerous questions!! stella and camilla--henris 2 pups, were on hand for entertainment as were the multitude of howler monkeys passing thru overhead every morning and evening--- also a crew of iguanas living in a hollw stump of a huge pochote tree!-i was a bit surprised it was so close to the main beachroad to north guionnes beach. but not a problem as quite quiet within the gates of his lovely spot!---highly recommend! speak up if you find a need unmet--they will find a way to make it happen!! thanks henri! mucho gusto--andy and jay

An absolute gem. The accommodations and Henri! Our family was right at home. Walkable and quiet and the other guests were always friendly. Community BBQs and a friendly. Please don’t go here because I want to keep it to myself ;) We will be back.

We are so happy we found Henri’s place! It is in an amazing location just a few minutes walk to the main entrance of Guiones North. The unit, pool and property are super clean. The staff are all wonderful. We can’t wait to come back.

Henri is amazing and his place is perfect. A short walk to everything in the best part of Guiones. He also employs a wonderful staff that help make the stay that much more enjoyable.

This place was more than we expected. It had all the small details of comfort, like a small rug when you step out of bed. The kitchen had everything we needed, lovely to have a blender to make smoothies every morning. The location is just great. Close to shop, restaurant and a short walk to the beach. A surfers dream. And lovely to have small casitas around you like a community vibe! Thank Henri! We’ll be back.

Henri's place was comfortable, included all the amenities you could need (coffee pot, stove, pots & pans, etc) in order to cook your meals at home. He was very hospitable and around the unit often to answer questions or give assistance as needed. The home was only cleaned once while we were there, which was fine with us, and he gave us appropriate space while still being available as needed. The water in the shower was a bit finicky but didn't bother us too much. We were grateful for an easy place to stay and strong wifi! We would stay at Henri's again!

Henri is one of a kind. He truly pours his heart into Casa Rosada and makes everyone feel like family. From the staff on-site to the guests that he brings together, this was the greatest reminder of how a community of travelers can come together and BBQ, surf, and simply lounge by the pool and share stories. The cabinas are excellent and have everything you need to cook and stay cool. There are numerous hammocks laying around the site to relax and enjoy the monkeys. Just watch out when they toss the mangos down! Too much fun, and I can’t wait to visit again! Oh and pool is the coolest in Costa Rica! All that shade is fantastic.

Henri was a great communicator which is soooooo important. The place was cool Nosara type. What do I mean by that? It was homey for Nosara which I like. It wasn’t some corporate resort. You are in the midst of great jungle foliage and always get to experience the howler monkeys right there which was so neat. It was away from any hustle bustle, but walking distance to all the great places and live music. Very close to the beach as well which is important. Henri was very accommodating and a great host. Oh and unlike most of Nosara the air got so cold I had to shut it off while sleeping.

We enjoyed our stay at Henri's place. He made us feel very welcome and was a great resource for anything Playa Guiones. Location is central yet private with a relaxing pool area and a comfortable common area. Hope to return soon to see Henri , Stella & Hund.

My husband and I and our Morkie dog Bonnie had a wonderful month long stay at Henri’s place. Henri is a caring host and had answers and solutions for any questions that arose. He hosted quite a few tasty potluck barbecue’s that gave us a chance to meet our neighbors and learn from their experiences. The cabina’s are located in a beautiful tropical garden area with plenty of shaded seating area and are close walking distance to the beach, a grocery and many restaurants and shops. The bed was comfortable, the water hot, the kitchenette adequate and- my lifesaver- the air conditioning quiet and efficient. Jackie and CherryLee kept our casita spotlessly clean and also did our laundry. It was great getting to know them both. Favorite activities for me were going to the beach for amazing sunsets and listening to and watching the Howler monkeys travel through the area. Loved it at Casa Rosada. Sad to leave. Would definitely recommend!

Really nice layout of cabins, surrounding a common area. The pool is always cold and refreshing. Henri hosts BBQ nights on Sunday’s which I good way to meet the other guests. Surf break is about a 5 minute walk with a couple surf shops along the way.

Henri was a fun and helpful host! He truly wants his guests to enjoy themselves. The cabanas were clean and had many amenities. The location was within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. A good find!

Henri is a great host. He spent time answering all our questions, very helpful. He's very personable. Casa Rosada is close to everything you need like restaurants and groceries, including walking distance to surfing beach, yet off the main roads through town so private with no cars going by. It's a peaceful property and nicely landscaped with plenty of shade. They're clean basic cabinas with great service, pool and helpful other amenities. There's a nice covered common area with BBQ, table and chairs. Definitely recommend staying at Casa Rosada. We'll be back for sure.

Casa Rosado is a great find in Nosara! It’s close to the the beach, has lush tropical grounds and adorable clean cabinas. Henri is a wonderful host. We’re planning on returning next year!

Henri's place is a quiet oasis located in the middle of everything. It is an easy walk to the market, restaurants, surf shops and the beach. The cabinas are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Henri even had coffee from a locally sourced coffee shop stocked in the room when we arrived. The pool is a great place to just hang around for a lazy day with plenty of shade and wildlife. Henri was available for any questions we had and check-in and out were a breeze.

Stellar! The value for this location is amazing. We did not have a car and everything we needed was easily accessible: short walk to the beach, restaurants, mini-mart, etc... Henri is one of the best hosts we have stayed with. He helped us to book a chiropractor and doctor when issues arose, hosted a few BBQs for everyone, splashed (and was splashed by) our daughter in his refreshing and clean pool. The studios are simple but have all you need with a small kitchenette. We want to give a special thanks to Jackie, who is lovely and does laundry for guests at no extra charge and cleans the rooms a few days a week.

Henri's place in Playa Guiones is a gem! Walking distance to the beach and tons of great spots, but also spread out and quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. Definitely coming back.

Henri's place is located on a quiet street right in the middle of town only a few minutes walk to the beach. This location can't be beat! The Cabinas are very clean and comfortable and the pool area and hammocks make this the perfect retreat. I highly recommend staying at Henri's place!

Henri is a consummate host - very gracious about both helping with any need as it arose, and going out of his way to make all feel welcome.

Henri is a great host, and Casa Rosada is a great place to stay. Awesome location, close to everything, but tucked away enough so its quiet and relaxing. The cabinas are simple, but have all the things you need. Toaster, coffee maker, real set of dishes, etc. Henri makes sure you have what you need, and even hosted a BBQ on Sunday. This was our second time at Casa Rosada, and I definitely recommend it to others coming to Guiones.

Helpful host and great place.

Henri was very helpful and accommodating for our trip. We arrived early and he got us set up right away and gave us the full scoop on Nosara, where to be and when. The pool and outdoor lounge area were a great touch and a great place to take a break from the sun. Thankful we found such a great host and place to stay! Made the trip to Nosara that much more memorable.

Our stay at Casa Rosada was wonderful! The location is supreme, it was quiet, amenities were perfect for us, the staff and Henri were so kind and accommodating, and it was nice and quiet. Will definitely be returning!

Cabins are very clean and well organised. You can easily prepare your own meals etc., Beds super comfortable, very clean bed linen and towels. Loved the place. Easy walk to the beach and close to eateries, cafes and well stocked minimarket. You don't need transport and can feel very safe. Henri is a great Host. Caring and informative. I would definitely come here again!

We loved the location and Henri was very accomodating! I would defiantly recommend it, there are lovely places to eat in this neighbourhood, and a shop where you can buy most things you need 1 minute walk away!

My husband and I love Henri's beautiful spot near the beach. It was the perfect way to enjoy Nosara. A walk to the beach a kitchen to cut up fresh fruit and hammock to relax in while escaping from the sun. We would come back again soon!
