We loved our stay in Corozal. It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly the change of pace we were looking for. The dock was easily our favorite part—we spent so much time just sitting by the water, enjoying the breeze and the view. At night, the dock became the perfect spot for stargazing, with dark skies and beautiful views over the water. Such a relaxing place to slow down and enjoy northern Belize.

Joe and Laura are a unique couple who truly help make Tilt-A-Dock an enjoyable and tranquil experience. I usually avoid booking places that require interaction with a “host” due to past experiences, but Joe and Laura completely changed our perspective. They are friendly, true experts in the local area and genuinely eager to help you find whatever you need to make the most of your trip, whether that’s fresh seafood or local recreation. We really enjoyed our time in Corozal!

This little resort along Corozal Bay is a beautiful slice of paradise. It was our first stop in our tour of Belize and it was the perfect place to get onto the spirit of the country. The grounds are immaculate, the casitas are cosy and have everything you need. It is walking distance to the main street. We loved having the kayaks available to explore the shoreline and a great front porch to sip coffee and listen to the waves! Highly recommend this place!

The resort was awesome and peaceful. though we stayed just one night we certainly would have spent more and would love to be back. They had everything we needed and would go out of their way to help us feel comfortable. Thanks for everything!

Tilt-Ta-Dock is an amazing escape from the insane pace of life. Nestled against the edge of Carazol Bay, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of the water. Inside each cabana is a darling kitchen with everything a cook needs to prepare a deluxe meal for two. The bed has tables on both sides with independent reading lights and electric outlets. Designed for two adults, there are lounge chairs on the lawn as well as chairs on each front porch. The pool is stunning and unique with underwater stools at one end. Your hosts are warm and welcoming. I’m sure you will enjoy a stay at Tilt-Ta-Dock!

Marina and Mr. A were absolutely wonderful! Marina was very friendly, walked us through our rental and was available for anything we needed. We also really enjoyed chatting with her and hanging out with the resident pup, Lyla. All around wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Absolutely beautiful location! It really felt like we were on our own private island. Walking out on the dock with my morning coffee was heaven and it really makes you look forward to “Knot Working”! We can’t wait to get back to be rejuvenated.

I didn’t want to stay somewhere with a lot of people that caters to the tourist crowds. I just wanted to get away and relax in a beautiful environment and Tit-ta-Dock turned out to be the perfect place! Walking or bicycling to town was an adventure and the people in Corozal are friendly and helpful. Laura and Joe welcome their guests as though they are family coming to visit, they are amazing. This was a unique experience for me and I will cherish it always.

Tilt a Dock was a wonderful little place on beautiful Corozal Bay. The cabana was adorable, with gorgeous views! Laura was an absolute rockstar of a host. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. It’s walkable to town, very close to several restaurants and the market.

Joe and Laura are excellent, amazing hosts. Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful above and beyond. The resort is well kept and really a private oasis. Finding it wasn’t all that hard however the city lacks bigtime in signage which is the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for finding the resort. Definitely would recommend to stay and we will come back next time in Belize

Laura and Joe are fabulous and friendly hosts. They were always extremely responsive to all of our questions and assistance needed. Joe went above and beyond in assisting us with some personal business we needed to attend to. The kitchen was adequately supplied, we were able to cook a couple of our meals in our cute little cabana. Restaurants are somewhat walkable and bikeable distance but if you aren't interested in those modes of transportation you definitely need a rental car to get out and about in town for groceries or other meals/shopping. The water in Corozal can't necessarily be trusted, Joe suggested we put chlorine bleach in our rinse dishwater. It was would be really nice if that was supplied. An overall fabulous, relaxing time. The property is beautiful, right on the water, not pretentious, we loved it. We hope to be back next year.

I have been to many places but nothing beats this place. A cabin right on the water. You and your thoughts. Amazing. The host Joe took me out on a fishing trip up the river and man was he a great guy. Great host great location. Thanks Joe!

We have been living in Merida, Mx and needed to do a 'border run' to renew our car TIP. We chose this place for its proximity to the border and WOW were we surprised - what an absolute gem. It exceeded all of our expectations and the photos dont do it justice. We had amazing food at two places in town, met some really nice people and enjoyed the tranquility of the water view surrounded by a variety of tropical flowers and trees. The cabin was beautiful, the setting was beautiful and we would highly recommend a visit especially if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

Very peaceful and relaxing place to be. Was perfect for what I needed. Relaxing, private, peaceful and just the perfect getaway! Close enough to town to go grab food yet isolated enough to be private! Away from the noise of the town. I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for privacy , peacefullnness and relaxation!! I will return for sure !!!

Extremely impressed with how this listing matched the description and pictures in person. Everything is clean, comfortable, and the scenery is beautiful. The hosts Joe and Laura are so helpful and accommodating. The staff: Marina is a sweetheart and great person. You will see her father Mr. A working hard, too. Vacation is different for everyone. For our travel, this was perfect.

Joe and Laura are hilarious and their place is so adorbs. I loved my little cabana. I arrived completely exhausted and collapsed for 3 days. It was so rejuvenating to sleep with the sound of the waves, perfect temps in October, walk the lush lawn in bare feet, and the most amazing part, I got to go on the maiden voyage of Joe’s new boat! Sailing in a catamaran… daydreaming floating on water… I arrived by taxi and it was fairly easy to get food delivered, fresh fruit and veggies from the local produce market came by Runman. Amazing thing about Belize? They speak English and there are very few mosquitos! Having recently traveled through the Yucatán this was a plus! Joe and Laura are such nice hosts, he even helped me change money and get a taxi back to the border. All-in-one vacay resort!

Tilt-Ta-Dock Resort is a perfect place to stay to explore Corozal. So many cool things - kayaking down to the clear fresh water springs coming out of the lime rock (to the left past the houses), the amazing sunrises and cool breezes on the long dock, plenty of delicious restaurants close by, free bicycle use for easy travel to town, and a full-kitchen cabin with front porch where everything works! Do you yourself a favor’ and check it out. Also a close ride to Mexico to for a day trip or longer. Mayan ruins across the bay. Corozal is a quiet, safe and very friendly town. Enjoy your visit at Tilt-Ta-Dock Resort!

What an amazing find. We could not have asked for a better place for our first Belizean experience. The view is beyond breathtaking, especially from the pool. Its your world, Joe (the host) just lives in it. Really, pretty much anything you ask for they will do their best to accommodate. Also ADULTS ONLY means peace and quiet. You wont find a more relaxing and serene place than this.

I will absolutely stay at the Tilt Ta Doc again. This a beautifully manicured resort this provides the perfect balance of safety, privacy and relaxing activities. The view is perfect from every direction of the property! I had absolutely No issues during my visit. This is a great place to stay. Thank you for hosting me.

I had a short and sweet stay. Joe and his wife were warm and welcoming. Check in was easy, our villa was clean and comfy, and the property was serene! Everything was perfect ! They even helped me find some boutiques where I could buy a swimsuit. I’d definitely recommend a stay here if you’re in the area.

Joe was great! The cabanas were so awesome and clean! The sunrise and sunset from the dock were phenomenal! Would def stay here again and highly recommend!

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The cabana was perfect size with comfy bed and full kitchen right on the waterfront with spectacular sunrises. I will be returning for a week of quiet and relaxation.

Where to start. If you are coming to Belize and staying in the area, this place ticks all the boxes and more. We stayed in many places and tilt ta dock is by far our best experience. Beautifully built mini houses that have everything you need in a comfortable setting. To list a few, full size kitchen with everything you need, even coffee and filters. Each cabana has a full size fridge with ice cube trays, fresh large bottled water tank for all your drinking needs, cooking utensils and dishes, as well as cable tv that even had CNBC for my financial news fix. We found Belize to have friendly people and these guys are no exception. We were exploring to see if we wanted to move to Belize and joe's experience and willingness to help made all the difference in the world. I even woke up on our last day to pouring rain and drank my last milk for coffee. I messaged joe and five minutes later I had a knock on the door with a brand new carton. The book full of helpful information was also a huge plus. It was off season and we made last minute bookings but when the tourist season is going, you better book early. Party at the pool.

Great hosts, very helpful! The location is excellent and the cabin was perfect. The only small thing I would say is that there really wasn’t any “easy” way to get in the water. There is a dock that has a ladder, but there’s a pretty big gap between the top of the dock and the top of the ladder. No problem for you young folks, and there’s also a very nice pool there to enjoy.

It’s hard to imagine a better place to stay in Corozal than the Tilt Ta Dock Resort. The owners built the entire resort to their liking and it shows. The result is a picturesque garden of flowering hydrangeas, manicured lawn, palms, and a dock that stretches out into the bay. The cabanas are all situated with an amazing view of the bay. The hosts were friendly and eager to assist. Our only regret was not staying longer. If we ever visit Corozal again, we’ll be staying at Tilt Ta Dock.

We had a FABULOUS stay at Tilt-ta-Dock! It was our first time in Corozal to visit family. Joe was VERY helpful; making sure we knew everything we needed about the area. The communication was super easy and quick -- and the Casitas were exactly how they looked in the pictures. We LOVED being able to watch sunrise over the ocean from the front porch; definitely looking forward to staying there again!

Wow, what a great place! My husband and I were first timers to the area and decided to stay at Tilt-ta-dock. So glad we did! Joe and Laura greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our cabana, which was clean and quaint and had everything we needed. We expressed what we were interested in doing during our stay, and plans were made. We had a fantastic time out on our fishing trip with Captain Joe and caught several fish that made for a tasty dinner that night! We also had kayaks and bicycles available to use. The views from the property are outstanding and the water is just what you think when you think of the Caribbean. This is an adults only resort, so a perfect place to unwind with family or friends in an environment meant for adults. They are currently working on installing a pool with a swim up bar, which will be awesome when its done! We will definitely consider staying here again when we return to Belize! Thanks Joe and Laura for a great getaway!

An idyllic oasis for anyone seeking a peaceful serene getaway, and hosted by a Caring couple who truly understand Hospitality and the need to 'exceed expectations'. Sunrises, sunsets, kayaks, fishing, sailing, and wonderful accommodations are but a few of the wonderful aspects of this newly constructed bungalow property (w/ a pool coming soon!). Don't even look anywhere else in the Corozal area as this is unbeatable Value!
