This was without a doubt the most well thought out and appointed house we have stayed in. The attention to detail was astounding, and yet it felt like a real home away from home. Like everyone else who stayed here, I highly recommend this house. I could happily have stayed a whole month!

Everything about our stay was beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and thought into the design of the home. Once inside, it felt very private, which we really appreciated. The host was responsive, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. The location was spectacular, we were walking distance from so much food, shops, and attractions, and we always felt safe. We would absolutely book here again next time we visit Mérida.

This is our second time visiting Louise’s lovely home. Similar to the first we felt right at home. Her home is incredibly clean and offers all necessary amenities. It’s such a lovely oasis while also being central to the park and restaurants. We can’t wait to visit again!

Louise’s home was the fifth house we have rented in Mérida and it was the most comfortable. Everything was beautifully designed and perfectly functional. We loved the location near great restaurants and the new park. The setup was perfect for our 3 generation family, with the master bedroom a bit apart. Louise and Oswaldo were so responsive and helpful, and they made our stay very easy. It was a great week in Mérida.

We’ve stayed in A LOT of Airbnbs—and we also own one—so our standards are high. After spending five weeks this winter in Louise’s incredible Mérida home, I can say without hesitation: this is the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The house itself is absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the soaring ceilings, beautiful arched windows, and lush, perfectly lit garden. Every detail feels thoughtful—original artwork, fresh-cut flowers, comfortable furniture, and beautifully curated lighting throughout. The kitchen is truly set up for people to live here, not just vacation. Sharp knives, spices, and everything needed to cook real meals with ease. Even better: the pool is heated and filtered (rare in Mérida!), and all the windows have screens, making it wonderful to sleep with them open at night. The location couldn’t be better—two blocks from Calle 47’s best restaurants, three blocks from La Plancha park, and just steps from Paseo de Montejo! WE LOVED IT!

Absolute perfection. Beautifully designed, appointed with top of the line everything, peaceful, every room is beautiful, bright, and big; and in the best location. We were grateful to have a chance to stay in one of the most gorgeous homes in Merida. It’s clear how much care and thought they put into the space. Louise and team are pros - generous hosts who made us feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave.

Our stay was incredible. Peaceful, quiet and easy to walk to great restaurants and coffee shops. The pool is perfect in the morning in the afternoons. The guidebook provided was so helpful. We used their driver recommendation, Luis, who is excellent. He even came at 5:30 on a Sunday morning to take us to the airport. Plenty of space for a couple with a toddler and two friends. And Louise was extremely responsive. Pack and play was set up before we got there which was so thoughtful. We wish we had another week there.

I travel to Merida monthly for work and have stayed in many places. This place is a 6 of 5! Absolutely magnificent… First class, luxurious setting and amenities! Beautiful house, excellent experience. The house is spacious, clean, has all the amenities, attention to detail, very comfortable. We spent a week there with our 2 children and had a wonderful time. The house is close to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and parks, walkable to most things and easy to get an Uber for longer trips. The hosts were responsive, and provided excellent recommendations.

We loved our time at Louise’s home. It felt like we hit the Airbnb jackpot. It was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed during all our visits to Mérida. Everything was just as pictured, but even better in person. The location is perfect, very close to all the restaurants and La Plancha. You’ll be glad you stayed here!

Our stay in Merida exceeded all of our expectations. Louise is more than a super host and her residence is more than just a home. We felt like we were staying at our own 5 star boutique hotel and Louise and her team were our own personal concierge. She was friendly, proactive, knowledgeable about the area and very quick to respond. The house instructions and host guidebook were full of helpful information. The attention to detail and aesthetic design throughout the home was beyond incredible. This was by far the best home we have stayed in and we never wanted to leave. This is one of the best airbnbs in Merida! We stayed here with my family before my wedding and it was PERFECT! Louise is an amazing host, when I told her I was getting married she sent a champagne bottle minutes later. Everyone loved the airbnb, super spacious, beautiful decor, clean rooms and close to el corredor gastronómico. Literally perfect!

Wow. Louise is the epitome of a superhost! We had an absolutely incredible stay in Merida and much of it was due to Casa52 and her warm & exceptional hospitality. The house had everything we needed and more. From the time we booked this home to checkout day, Louise & Katia were friendly, attentive, responsive and accommodating. Casa52 is the most beautiful & stunning Airbnb that we have ever stayed in. Somehow it is even more gorgeous than the photos! The location truly cannot be beat, with a short 2-block walk to Calle 47’s restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. And its proximity to parks and the iconic Paseo de Montejo. We appreciated the amenities & menu of services Louise offered, and we scheduled massage appointments & a private chef. The Chakte Spa team was easy to work with and provided top notch care — we loved our poolside massages. And our chef Brenda and her team prepared a delicious 3-course meal. We truly fell in love with Casa52 & can’t wait to visit again!

I brought my six month old son and felt right at home with all of the amenities Louise and her team provided. The house, location, and style of the house made my stay perfect! Louise's place is stunning! And to top it off her and her team were always responsive and super helpful whenever we had a question or request. The location is perfect to walk to the local restaurants and parks downtown and also super central to other areas of Merida. My group loved hanging by the pool, relaxing inside and unwinding there after a long day. I travel often to Merida to visit family and can say without a doubt that I look forward to staying again at Louise's place.

Casa 52 is truly a DREAM home! Our stay was beyond amazing and completely magical! The home is located in a great area with tons to all in walking distance! The home is incredibly beautiful throughout! The pictures are great but everything about this property is even better in person! We loved the open floor plan as we had brought our baby boy home from the hospital to Casa 52 .This allowed everyone to feel a sense of being together! The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen is outstanding and has everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful & can be enjoyed from every room in the home! Casa 52 is simply the BEST! Louise & her team provide a best in class experience! We've never experienced such amazing Airbnb host! They're completely proactive with communication and reached out to us during our long stay to make sure everything was going good & to see if we needed anything. I cannot recommend this place enough. My own parents who usually do not like the idea of staying in an Airbnb LOVED this place. Location, comfort of home, safety of neighborhood were all great. The fact that it had air conditioning through the whole house was extremely crucial given that we went during the hottest time (April-June), which is saying something since we’re from Texas and we know heat. Interior design is to die for and really couldn’t have been as comfortable anywhere else during our stay. Would 100000% stay here again if we were to visit again

I was staying here with two of my adult children. It was to be a bonding vacation for us because we rarely get to see each other. The space was so comfortable and so beautiful. We had amazing food by the restaurants represented on Calle 47 and Pita near Santa Lucia park. We also enjoyed a day at Uxmal and the Cenote at Haceinda Mucuyché

If you are heading to Merida look no further. You will not find a more beautiful home . The space is absolutely stunning, decorated with a curated eye for details and so comfortable. The pool area is just perfect — in fact there isn’t one thing I would change about Louise’s space. She is an excellent Airbnb host, one of the best I have ever corresponded with. She is very quick to answer, gave us great recommendations and has filled her home with every amenity that you could need. Wonderful towels, bed linens, a very well stocked kitchen, a wine fridge full of great choices you can buy if you need, smart t.v , and all of the toiletries you will need for your stay (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, luxurious soaps, etc etc). We looked forward to coming home everyday, and actually hung out more at the house than expected (because it was so gorgeous)! The location of the house is perfect for walking to almost everything you will need. Loved our stay!

This place is amazing! You have no idea how great it is until you put one foot inside the house. The photos do it justice but once there it’s magical. We couldn’t have been happier staying here. It’s as if you really don’t want to leave. Restaurant row is just two blocks away and super easy walking distance. I will always remember staying here when I need a mental escape and you should treat yourself to staying here you will not be let down. We loved it. Louise is unlike any other host I have dealt with and she is an amazing person even if we never met or talked. From beginning to end she was right there with us. What a great experience.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Aesthetically beautiful and functional. It was perfect for our family of 5, including 3 young kids (5, 3, & 1). They truly thought of everything down to the very last detail - we were greeted by beautiful and fragrant oriental lilies in the entryway vase. Beds were very comfortable (my husband is very picky with beds), everything was spotless, and they even had a pack n play set up for us. The pool was heated, plenty of towels available, Wi-Fi worked perfectly, safe neighborhood within walking distance to el Corredor Gastronómico and Paseo de Montejo. Everything was great, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Louise!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Louise’s home. The home, decor, and outdoor space are absolutely stunning. We stayed with our two children and two friends and had a wonderful time. They were easily able to accommodate the baby, providing us with a pack and play, sheet, and blanket. All of us were very excited to see that the pool was heated. The kids spent a ton of time in the pool and we really enjoyed the spacious outdoor area and seating options. The amenities and attention to detail in this property are unmatched. We love that they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and plenty of high quality towels in all the bathrooms. The house is stocked with bug spray and sunscreen in case you forget to pack it. They even have wonderful smelling incense outside to help deter the bugs. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials. We loved that they had plenty of wine for purchase too. Louise was proactive and responsive with regular check ins! We plan to return!

This place is AMAZING! Every inch is beautifully designed from the lighting to the door stops to the draperies and everything in between. It is centrally located to great food and shops too. I cannot rave about this place enough and cannot wait to go back again. Louise was also very helpful and had all kinds of recommendations and information for us that was very handy.

Beautiful Modern Home

Getting to Merida House 52 was better than we expected. It exceeded my expectations and those of my family. Every corner of the house has a thousand details. The best thing is the kitchen in the center of the house. My wife and I love the kitchen we enjoyed it to the fullest. Louise and Andy were always attentive to all my requirements. Great location to explore merida and its surroundings.

This is a spectacular home! We were so comfortable and enjoyed the space. Louise has thought of every detail - high quality sheets and towels, beautiful furniture, landscaping, etc. There is construction nearby on streets in the neighborhood, so you just need to walk carefully on certain blocks. However, it will be done soon and the nearby walking streets with shops and restaurants will make this location outstanding!! Merida is so charming and this home is a local oasis.

Very beautiful place and we really enjoyed the pool. The house was well cooled with an AC unit in every room. My wife and daughters enjoyed the closet space. :) The kitchen was great with a wonderful stove. I would definitely stay again at Louise's home next time I go to Merida.

It's a beautiful house, comfortable, everything is of excellent quality and well taken care of. We needed nothing and Louise was always ready for our stay. It's excellent.

Second stay at Louise's house and it was better than the first! The home really has everything you need from the small things to the large ones. Incredibly comfortable and quiet. My 6/yr old son stayed upstairs and loved "his room" and slept all through each night (which he usually doesn't do in other houses). Hot showers are not a problem here, which have been an issue in other AirBnB's I've stayed in when in Merida -- Fast WiFi -- Heated pool (amazing at night) -- Sonos system was nice touch when poolside. A really amazing value also in the most walkable area in Merida. Casa Tho, Oliva, La Gala, Menta Y Rosa, El Ramate & more all within minutes. Highly recommended.

Louise's place was fantastic - really well located, near shops and restaurants and a short walk to the center of town. Easy and responsive communication with Louise and Andrea. Easy check-in with a digital code. We stayed a week and the pool service came and Louise had the housekeeper come to freshen things up after a few days at no charge. The house itself is a perfect oasis. The pool was a perfect respite after a day out and about, as is the lanai next to the pool. The layout is ideal for families - kids each had their own room upstairs with parents in the casitas in the back. The powder room near the pool was handy. The kitchen was well equipped with the TV room adjacent with all the usual streaming services you need. Architecturally, the house really feels very regionally appropriate - thoroughly modern but the steel windows and doors, stepped arches (think Art Deco) and aggregate stone touches is very timeless. You really cannot find a better home base to explore Merida!

House + location = literally the BEST Merida has to offer! My wife and I, who have been to Merida 14 times, booked Louise's house as we wanted to be walkable to a nearby house that we are currently restoring and came to Merida to check on the construction. Needless to say, we've stayed in many AirBnb's and this one is by FAR the best we've been in. This was our first time staying in this location and it the no doubt the most walkable and convenient in the City, just blocks from the best restaurants, bars, coffee and more. Experiencing the house itself is like staying in a beautiful museum that was built solely for modern comfort. The star of the show was the huge terrace and heated pool, which we swam in every evening. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept through the entire night each night (and I don't sleep well). We both had several zoom meetings while there and the WiFi was flawless. Spacious kitchen with everything you need. We'll be staying again! Thank you Louise!

This Airbnb was such an incredible space! The inside feels like your own special oasis yet you are steps away from the city and delicious restaurants. The pictures don’t do it justice! The host and house manager were great as well. They were very helpful and communicative! They had fresh fruit and wine waiting for us upon arrival. Transportation services, wine and beer were also available for purchase. This was our first time to Merida and we would come back again just to stay at this listing.
