Easy check in and check out I booked after checkin and it was still available for me. Sebastian did clarify there is no volcano view and there is a two story apartment building in front. I think the pictures should be updated for the listing. The rest is as described. Parking was a bit annoying because the front is shared and this was the third house so I had to squeeze by the other cars. The other part was that the villa was not cold throughout the night. The AC worked but idk why it was warm/hot in the room, I presume the misaligned sliding door is letting air out. There was a washer and drier so that was nice. You can definitely hear and something see your neighbors as the patio is in the front of the homes.

We had a bizarre experience with this host. The pictures clearly showed that a beautiful view of Arenal (volcano) was promised, but upon arrival it turned out that the view was not there. There is a large two-story building opposite – the photos were taken before the building was there. We assumed this was a nature house on the edge of an open field overlooking the volcano. When we reported this and asked for a refund, he became very unfriendly and pushy. He even called us scammers! Fortunately, AirBNB helped us, and we got some of our money back. In addition, privacy: the bed is in a room with large open windows for the so-called "view." But people are looking inside your place. There is no sheer curtain, only a 100% light-blocking curtain. Not really cozy then. The place was otherwise nice, but mostly a lot of looks and a lot of money for a view that is no longer there.
