WARNING! Only stay here if you want to live in paradise and be treated like literal royalty!! Sandra was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful even weeks before we arrived. Rosy the housekeeper was so kind and sweet and even spent time showing our kids around the property and introducing them to the animals. Jonny, who Sandra also put us in touch with, was very reliable and responsive transportation and an excellent tour guide. He really went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable. The house was spacious, had everything we needed, and was cleaned by Rosy almost daily. The property the house is on is UNREAL. For one full day of our trip we just explored the property and relaxed in the pool. It was a dream. We are so grateful to have spent a week in this tropical haven.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sandra communicated very well and Rosy is fantastic, she took such great care of us. The grounds are amazing, the Finka is beautiful and just like on the pictures. We had a lot of fun on the pickleball court and in the pool. Would highly recommend, it exceeded our expectations!

We had such an easy, relaxing stay and would 100% come back. The property is huge, so everyone had plenty of space to spread out and there was always something to do. Our boys lived on the pool + pickleball courts. We also had massages on the yoga platform overlooking the view, which was one of the highlights of the trip. Rosy made the experience even better. She cooked us incredible dinners, helped with our laundry, and took so much off our plate. It honestly felt like being at a boutique resort. The house itself was fantastic. It was always clean, the bedroom A/C worked perfectly, the bathrooms were excellent with great water pressure, the Wi Fi was fast and reliable. We also loved the fresh fruit picked right from the property. Such a thoughtful touch. The only thing I’d mention for future guests is that while the property isn’t actually far from the city, traffic can easily make the drive close to an hour depending we would stay here again in a heartbeat

Our stay was amazing. We had a group of 9. 5 adults and 4 kids for our family vacation. The stay was amazing. Sandra communicated well. All the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The kids loved the pool and loft area. They also enjoyed the basketball court and rock climbing area. The views were immaculate! The rooms were spacious. AC in each room! I would recommend for any family! Sandra even made us some bread and a passion fruit cheesecake that was AMAZing!!!

Typically, you have to be skeptical of Airbnb reviews. Not here. Literally every good thing that was mentioned by previous renters was true. The home has everything you’d need and more. Plenty of places to spend time together (pickle ball, bocce, pool) or apart (hammock on yoga platform, outdoor porches, upstairs loft). We felt at home and comfortable from the first moment. Rosy was so kind and helpful. We used Jonny for transport and tours and he was friendly and knowledgeable. Sandra was always generous with her time when I had questions, going above and beyond what I expected. If you stay here, you will not regret it.

Truly an oasis! What a beautiful home with an amazing property. The property has so much to offer from a swimming pool, a chicken coop with fresh eggs, pickleball, basketball, a rock climbing wall to a yoga platform overlooking the property. If you enjoy cooking there is a newly remodeled kitchen inside or an outside kitchen with a charcoal gill or a cook top stove. If you don’t enjoy cooking, Rosey, the housekeeper will cooked you a huge and delicious Panamanian meal for a small additional cost. We truly enjoyed our stay and Sandra was warm and inviting. The property is gated and extremely safe. We would definitely stay here again. You won’t be disappointed!

My family and I were so happy that we found this amazing villa. Our friends had recommended the Buenaventura resort but we prefer staying in a villa for more space and our own kitchen/ living areas. Sandra's home was the perfect solution in a great location- we got to enjoy her beautiful home but right outside our door we had the hotel pool, beach, a bar/restaurant, and a vendor of adventure and beach activities. We loved exploring the resort, walked to the gym and tennis court daily, the little market, and a short drive to the Padel courts at the Buenaventura sports complex. Sanrdra's home is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The kitchen is large and new, and the dining room is very open with a large table and high ceiling. The backyard is so charming and comfortable. There is so much attention to detail in her decor throughout. Sandra was super helpful and always responsive. Her housekeeper was also very helpful!

Sandra’s place was amazing! Rosie was great! She did our laundry, made me a birthday cake and was such an amazing energy to be around. Sandra stopped by and spoke with us and it was amazing to meet her. I would reccomend this place to anyone! Don’t hesitate to book! JUST DO IT, ITS WORTH IT

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible stay at Sandra’s Buenaventura Beach House in Panama! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The backyard was truly our favorite part — the hammocks and private pool made it feel like our own little oasis. The kids were in the pool nonstop, and the adults actually got to relax (which says everything 😄). What made it even more perfect was the location — just a short walk to the residence club pool, and then right beyond that, the beach. It couldn’t have been more convenient or ideal for our group. The home itself was beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and had plenty of space for all nine of us (including five kids!). Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated. We made the best memories here and had an absolute blast. We will 100% be back — thank you for such a perfect stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sandra's property. For our group of two kids and three adults, it was an absolutely perfect landing place. My daughters loved the pool, all the animals and the pickle ball court! Their grandma, who is an avid bird-watcher, was in bird heaven. So many different kinds of birds to be spotted! I was so happy doing yoga on the deck every morning, and my husband loved the outdoor kitchen. This location also provides easy access to Panama City and Gamboa to do the monkey island tour (a real highlight for our family). Finally, Sandra and Rosy were so helpful and warm. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place in Panama. The home and surrounding area were beautiful, with plenty of things to do nearby. My favorite part was that the beach was only about a 45-second walk from the backyard. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Loved our stay at Sandra's place! So beautiful. We're 3 "mature" couples. Loved seeing the sights but enjoyed our retreat with true locals in evenings and "off" days. The listing exceeds expectations. Recommend using the outdoor kitchen (they'll show you how!) to keep heat out and because the indoor one doesn't fit more than 1 cook! Fresh eggs from the chickens, lots of touring, pool time in the afternoon, pickleball every evening and amazing support from both Sandra and Rosie. We couldn't ask for more; all needs were anticipated. Sandra was helpful both before and during our stay. Made the most of our time. Be sure to hire Rosie for a dinner or two! Amazing Panamanian specialties served out back for a very reasonable fee+groceries. We used her twice - her chicken dish and Ropa Vieja (beef-better than restaurant) which were amazing and mindful of 2 in our group who have sig dietary restrictions. DEFINITELY hire Jonny for airport transfers and touring. He's so attentive and reasonable $

This was our second stay at one of her properties, and once again it was amazing! The place was beautiful, extremely comfortable, clean, and safe. There is a shopping center nearby, which made it very convenient to get groceries if needed. Communication was excellent—every time I had a question, she was always quick to respond. We loved our stay at Sandra's place! It was perfect for our family of six adults & three grandchildren aged 7 months to 5 years. The property was a peaceful retreat, with a private pool, hammocks on the yoga platform, outdoor dining with a grill & oven, and lots of greenery. A favorite part was gathering fresh eggs from the hens each morning. Although the location was tricky to find, using the school address next door made it much easier. There’s a lot of construction nearby, so trips that usually take 20 minutes could take 40 or even an hour. We rented a truck and hiked in El Valle (2 hrs away), Soberanía National Park (30 mins away), and Ziplined in Gamboa (30 mins away). Essie, the housekeeper, prepared a delicious Panamanian meal on New Year's Eve (highly recommend)! On my 58th birthday, Sandra surprised me with a gift, and we spent the day at a beach resort. We swam, enjoyed drinks, and savored great food together. Sandra & Essie were generous souls who made our trip memorable!

A beautiful and serine home. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed here as a family of 6. Would highly recommend for a peaceful stay outside of the main city. Great transport links and close to supermarkets/ shopping malls. Also fantastic hosts!

We came to Panama for our Son’s 15th birthday to get to know about his roots. It was an amazing trip. Sandra’s place was so cozy and homely that our son wanted to stay in the whole time 🤦🏾‍♀️. Sandra was so helpful. Miss it already. We are definitely coming back.

Sandra’s place was absolutely amazing. Tucked away, peaceful and private! Sandra helped coordinate a great driver and tour guide who we were able to book all of our tours and transportation needs with. We had a daily supply of fresh eggs, freshly made bread, and other surprises here and there! Sandra helped coordinate 2 dinners prepared for us at the house which were both highlights of our trip. We celebrated a 50th birthday and Sandra was so sweet coordinating a cake delivery with a bottle of wine! Rosy was an absolute angel- cleaning the house for us daily, washing laundry, and helping with whatever we needed. The yoga platform overlooks the property and is a fantastic space to practice yoga or relax in the hammocks. We were visited by hummingbirds and parrots daily. The trees, flowers and plants provide an amazing oasis. The pool was warm and refreshing. Seven ladies had plenty of space and absolutely enjoyed ourselves-thank you Sandra and Rosy!

This property truly lives up to its name. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. No detail was overlooked. We especially enjoyed starting each morning with fresh eggs from the chickens out back, watching our girls spend hours in the pool with the llama float, catching sunsets from the yoga platform, and sharing a special family dinner on the patio. Every experience felt meaningful and memorable. Tropical Haven gave us the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It allowed us to slow down, connect as a family, and embrace the beauty of Panama in such a special way. It was also a wonderful way to introduce our children to the country and culture. We are leaving with full hearts, wonderful memories, and gratitude for such a gracious host. We will absolutely be back and will be recommending Tropical Haven to friends and family.

My family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) had an amazing stay at Sandra’s place! The house, the pool and the entire surround were absolutely gorgeous and well cared for. You feel like you have your own slice of Panamá to enjoy with relaxing sounds of nature and plenty of areas to commune or relax. Rosy our housekeeper was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed and we came back to a clean and welcoming home everyday after adventuring . We had the chance to meet Sandra and get some great local recommendations as well as hear about her life in Panama which was lovely! Could not recommend this place more, would happily return any time!

We stayed here for several weeks on a work-play trip and loved it. The house is super well-stocked, well-maintained, and has great furniture—everything feels solid and thoughtfully chosen. The pool area is awesome, and we grilled out a bunch. Location is perfect—right next to El Faro, so we were constantly hopping between our pool and the beach club. We were two adults, two kids, and had my parents visit for a bit (so six total), and the house could’ve easily fit more. Kitchen’s got good appliances, plenty of pots/dishes, made cooking easy. The resort - Buenaventura is a fantastic spot for adults and kids. Sandra was always responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Sandra’s place is breath taking. The pictures don’t do this place any justice, it’s absolutely beautiful, peaceful, literally a private resort in itself. Sandra responded quickly and always made sure we had what we needed. Rosy, the housekeeper, was such a blessing to my family. We didn’t have to worry about anything because she kept the Airbnb clean, beds made and even washed and folded our clothes daily. We used Jonny for all our transportation needs (Sandra recommended) and he did such an amazing job getting us around. On our rest day, we stayed home and enjoyed massages by Erika (also recommended). Please, don’t hesitate to book. You won’t be disappointed. Our trip was everything and so much more because of Sandra, Rosy, Jonny and we will definitely be back. She has a great setup and amazing people who really work hard to ensure guest are happy. My family and I will be raving about this trip until we return.

Absolutely my favorite Airbnb stay ever!! The property is gorgeous. Sandra and Rosy are amazing. Sandra could charge three times the current rate, and it would be justified.

Sandras home was an amazing stay. I stayed here for 4 days with my boyfriend and 4 others for my boyfriend and I’s birthday. The bnb looked just like pictures and accommodated all of us well. Rosy (the housekeeper) kept the house spotless by doing dishes, tidying up where needed, and even doing our laundry. She spoke only spanish but she was the sweetest lady we came across in Panama. Sandra’s residence was over the top for our group because not only is it a great price, the accommodations and utilities provided made for a wonderful stay. The things most bnbs do not provide that tend to be a quick annoyance was not an issue here as Sandra set up the bnb as if she was living there herself. Our last full day Sandra flew in and stayed on her spacious property and stopped in to stay hello and we got to chat with her for a while and she was lovely. Before the trip my group had issues finding the exact location of the bnb so we were a bit worried but Sandra soothed all our concerns. 10/10sta

We loved this house. It was such a perfect space to start our vacation. It was very peaceful and private. The house is beautiful and the outdoor space was amazing. Our kids loved the pool and seeing the chickens and monkey on the property. We loved that it was away from the noise and rush of the city. Sandra was an amazing host, as well as Rosy! This home was perfect! In a luxury, private peaceful gated community of Buenaventura. Home was exactly what we were looking for while celebrating our 25th anniversary. You can lounge by the backyard pool or walk 50 feet and play in the hotel pool! Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and last but not least it always so reassuring to have a good host that you can rely on. Sandra and Esi were just that!

This place is AMAZING!!! Do Not hesitate just BOOK IT!!! My girlfriends and I had a blast celebrating my 40th and the location was perfect and serene for all the retreat vibes we were craving. There's ample space for large groups and Uber was extremely low cost to get around so we didn't need to rent a car. The security was lovely as the property is gated and has cameras. We will be returning again for sure because this was worth everything it costs and then some. Did I mention the fresh eggs and laundry being done for you? Let me not forget to mention the personalize touches left by the host to assist with my birthday celebration. Sandra truly created a home away from home for my group and the pool and yoga platform provided the best sunrise and sunsets views all weekend. It was peaceful and the pictures Do Not do justice to the personal experience. We were a group of 4 adults and 7 kids (ranging from 4 - 12 years old) and this place far exceeded our expectations! The house is spectacular and the location is so conveniently located with its own private pool or very short walk to the large community pools and beach. I hope to come back some day.

Extraordinary stay! The place was perfect for hosting two families. In an impeccable and very relaxing setting, we would have gladly stayed longer... ;-) Sandra answered all our questions and even helped us with our on-site bookings. Rosy welcomed us with a fruit tray and pumpkin bread, in addition to doing our laundry and bringing us fresh eggs from the hen house. No hesitation in recommending this zen space!

Great stay! Sandra was not there but was very responsive by message but there was Rosy the housekeeper who lives on site next door Rosy was very helpful and always available. The house is cozy and as shown in the photos. The beds are very comfortable, extremely clean house. Everything was great!! The house was available before check-in time, so we were even able to drop off our bags in the morning. Very pleasant stay.

If you are coming to Panama City, Panama Sandra’s house is the perfect base camp. Close to all the local attractions. Her property is absolutely stunning. Private back yard with a pool, beautiful trees, flowers, and shrubs all tucked into a rolling landscape. We had daily supplies of eggs, plantains, and coconuts from the property. Rose, her housekeeper, was fantastic taking care of our personal laundry and making sure our linens were fresh. Mika the Husky was very friendly. She was waiting for us to wake up every morning with a warm greeting and loved being around us. If our travels ever bring us back, we would stay again in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed renting Sandra’s property!!

Sandra's house was the best decision on our Panama tour. Sandra is a great host. And Rosie the housekeeper was such a nice and helpful person. The house was a bit outside of Panama City, so on the one hand you have your peace and can relax, but also quickly get to the city. The house was immaculate and sensationally beautifully decorated. The outdoor area was also quite spectacular. On our next stay in Panama, we will definitely choose Sandra's house again.

I am not sure where to start... the whole place was wonderful, exactly as in the description. I have been to many-many places (and that is really many-many) and have stayed at many airbnb-s but this place probably in the top 3 (possibly top 1). We loved the house, loved the huge garden, loved the pool, loved Rosy taking care of us (and our laundry!!!). Not in the city, but close enough to get there quick, so if you want to be in a calm environment you are covered, if you want to have fun in the city you are covered. (You should rent a veichle if you want to move around to stay flexible, or you can use Uber or taxis). So... we will be back, and thanks everything Sandra and Rosy!

Without a doubt Sandra’s place saved our Panama vacation, our first Airbnb was terrible we were ready to leave after days. We searched dates and turns out Sandra’s place was available because of a last minute cancellation, let me tell you the place exceeded our expectations. The host and the on-site caretaker went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The grounds were perfectly kept, the house amazing, and my kids loved the pool. The place isn’t far from the hustle and bustle of Panama City, but you get peace when you arrive. The small Panderia down the road sold doughnuts my kids loved. We cook a lot of vacation the indoor and outdoor kitchens are well equipped If you see this listing don’t second guess, this place is worth it, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Getaway with All the Amenities! We recently stayed at this beautiful four-bedroom house, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The property is stunning, with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The highlight for us was definitely the private swimming pool, which provided a perfect spot for relaxation and fun. We also loved the barbecue area, which made for some fantastic evenings grilling and enjoying meals outdoors (you find everything in the grocery stores in Buenaventura). The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach. Being so close to the nearby hotel and restaurant made dining out convenient, and we loved having the option to explore local cuisine. Everything in the house was in excellent condition, making our stay even more enjoyable. The privacy of the house allowed us to unwind and spend quality time together. Whether you’re looking for a family vacation or a getaway with friends, this place has it all.

Sandra was a wonderful host, very helpful, extremely accommodating, and kind. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. She baked bread that was so delicious! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The property was quiet, peaceful, and great for bird watching and relaxing. We also enjoyed the pool. We ate every meal outside on the patio and enjoyed using the wood fire grill and propane grill. There were fresh eggs from the hens on the property, mango trees, and small oranges like mandarins that we enjoyed. It was a wonderful place to stay and we plan to return.

Sandra’s place was a joy to stay at…. Sandra was very nice and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave good recommendations for food. She was extremely responsive even though she had to travel back to the states, she always responded via text. Rosy the housekeeper was amazing and the juice that she made us was probably the best I have ever had!!! The house was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. We had a fresh loaf of sweet bread and fruit plate waiting for us. The pool was perfect and property was private and a nice little oasis in the midst of a busy area …. The traffic is no joke and the drivers have adopted a kamikaze style of driving, but if you are assertive and have a little extra time then it will work out well for ya! I would surely return for another vacation…

I spent 9 wonderful nights in Sandra’s place with 2 of my adult children and one of their partners. Everyone loved it and the location is perfect and you can walk to all of the restaurants and you are immediately beside one of the hotel pools that you can use. No complaints from us!

This place was beautiful and as-described! The pool area and grounds were amazing and so nice to come home to every afternoon. Sandra was very responsive and helpful when we needed anything, including translation! She even drove us to get pizza one night when we couldn’t get delivery. Rosy, the housekeeper, was amazing. Did our laundry, tidied up and baked us fresh bread. We also had a fresh loaf and fruit when we arrived. Sandra also arranged to have car seats in the van that picked us up. Her recommendation of Johnny’s van service was great and he and his wife were very accommodating, even on short notice. A drawback of this place is that it is very far out of town and traffic was steadily congested. There isn’t much within walking distance, and we didn’t rent a car so that part was a bit tough. Though cabs are easy to get. The pets were good to have around, though we found it difficult to manage our young children around them, due to the unpredictable nature of children and pets

We had a great time at Sandras Place. The pool and the garden were very nice. Her place is quiet and you feel at home quickly. It's close to Panama City and a good place to make trips like Anton Valley or Pipeline Road. Sandra was a very helpful host, had a lot of recommendations and was always available. Rosy, the Housekeeper, did our laundry and brought us eggs and homemade bread. We highly recommend this place, it was wonderful und very relaxing.

For our family, spread between Brazil and the US, vacations are a treasured time – a time to bond, to create memories, to explore new horizons. Our stay at the Buenaventura villa was all of this and so much more. It wasn’t just a holiday stay; it was an experience, one that has been etched into our collective memories. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone and everyone looking for a wholesome, luxurious, and memorable stay in Panama. From its prime location to its impeccable amenities, from the myriad of local activities to the warmth of its host – this Buenaventura Airbnb is a jewel that promises a stay like no other.

This is my second time staying at Sandra’s beautiful rental! I absolutely love this place and it’s location and o look forward to staying here again! My fave part is the pool and the Yoga area that sits atop a hill. There’s so much peach a s tranquility at this home that causes me to never want to leave. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. The outdoor grilling area is perfect and the rooms have amazing beds and soothing decor. If you stay here you will definitely not want to leave and will probably plan to come back. Lastly, Sandra and her staff are amazing and extremely helpful.

Sandra and Rosie were lovely. They were genuinely accommodating and hospitable. Can’t wait to return.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in! Rosy was the best person ever and she was so friendly. We enjoyed her so much. Sandra, we met at the end of the trip and it was good seeing a face with the host. She was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying on her property if you have a large group. It was so peaceful on the property and it felt amazing. 10/10 I will definitely be coming back to Panama and staying here again.

Every single thing about this stay and the host was PERFECT. Not only is the house and property beautiful and comfortable, the host was excellent. They went above and beyond to think of everything possible a guest could need that made our stay amazing. Rosie, the onsite caregiver tidied up and was always there to help us. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The outdoor area was amazing, we spent most of the time out there, the sunsets from the hammock/yoga platform are gorgeous. We loved the outdoor kitchen too. The location is close to dining and shopping and activities. We really enjoyed chatting with the host and hearing a bit about their life and story; really neat, sweet people! We hope to return to this place often! We visited 4 different locations on this trip to Panama, and the entire family voted Sandra's place their favorite. We really enjoyed our time, they have thought of everything to make guests comfortable.

Sandra is by far the best Airbnb hostess I have had the pleasure of meeting. She went above and beyond to make sure that my cousins and I had a great vacation in Panama. Stellar communication and responsiveness. Description was EXACTLY as we found the property. She greeted us upon arrival as if I were visiting family!

Sandra is an amazing host, she was in touch with us before arrival she helped us with all kinds of suggestions from transport to activities. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable all around and such a welcoming atmosphere. She received us with fruits, fresh eggs and even cinnamon buns. The pets are super friendly and the kids loved visiting the monkey in the afternoons. Her housekeeper was so nice and she would do our laundry and tidy up during the day. It was such a treat to go sightseeing in the morning and enjoying the pool in the afternoons, it was the best experience we’ve had on an Airbnb. I would without a doubt book this property again. Is a definite 10/10.

Sandra was extremely friendly, and helpful... Also, having the Caretaker and the Gardener living on the estate was so convenient, and gave us a comfortable, secure feeling. The unit was spacious, had all the amenities, including the POOL. Simply terrific!!!

Book this place! It’s the perfect amount away from the city, but still close enough to go site seeing, it truly is an oasis. Sandra was so communicative and friendly, she even showed us the 2 monkeys she owns and my toddler was so in love with Shakira. Fresh farm eggs everyday, the bed and linens were so soft and comfortable. The house is designed beautifully and everything was so pristine and clean when we got there, and they even freshened up the rooms while we went site seeing during the day and it made it feel fabulous coming home! The outdoor kitchen was so nice to have meals at after dipping into the refreshing pool. The property has so many nooks and crevices to just relax and unwind after a day of site seeing. My favorite AirBNB and host!

Property is great but Sandra, Danielle & Rosie made it spectacular! Sandra went above & beyond ensuring we had everything we needed. She's extremely responsive. Danielle made homemade banana bread that was amazing! Rosie is the sweetest! She kept our clothes clean as well as the house every day. Photos in the listing are spot on! Comfy beds, good internet, beautiful grounds, inviting pool. I'd 100% recommend staying here. Wish we could have stayed longer! For those new to Panama, I have some helpful tips: Know some basic Spanish; Use Jonny (JD Transport) for airport transfers; Rent a car from Contigo in Arraijan (4 dr sedan cost us <$250 for the week); Leave the house no earlier than 9am to avoid traffic; Tono's Coffee & Bakery-great coffee & pastries; Cabrera Coffee Brew House in La Chorerra Costa Verde has the best french toast (tostada francesa);Favorite grocery stores-Super Carnes (like Walmart) & Riba Smith (like Publix); El Valle-Cerro La Silla hike-beautiful! Go to Casco Viejo!

We had an incredible time staying at Sandra's airbnb! She was very communicative before and during our visit. She offered local recommendations, all of which were fabulous, and also was able to organize drivers for airport pick up/drop off. The house itself was great! Every bedroom had air conditioning which is definitely essential in Panama! Rosy, the housekeeper, was extremely friendly and welcoming. The dogs on the property were so cute, friendly, and well behaved! We had everything we needed at the airbnb and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The location is away from the city and very peaceful and quiet! I have never felt more welcomed and supported at an airbnb, and I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

We stayed for 4 days, the place was just as described, beautiful!!! We have family in Panama and they came to visit and everyone loved the place, Sandra was a great host and responded well to all my questions. Rosita the house keeper cooked for us .. and her food was amazing. Mika the dog was beautiful and she kept us company the entire trip. I would recommend this place if you want to spend time with your family and want somewhere to relax. The rooms were clean and neat and me and my family were able to sleep very well through each night. We will definitely come back!!

We (4 adults + 3 kids of 6/3/1 yr old) had an amazing time staying at this beautiful place! Our expectations were high after all the great pictures and reviews but they were even exceeded. The kids loved swimming, exploring the grounds, and hanging out with all the animals… and the adults loved the beautifully designed house, the full outside kitchen, the hammocks and the yoga platform with the amazing view. Sandra and Rosy really made us feel at home, plus - what a luxury to have Rosy clean up our place and do our laundry! It’s a normally only 20-30 mins drive to downtown” (just avoid rush hour - like we also would at home…), and similar to Gamboa/Miraflores , plus there are plenty of shops and restaurants on ~10 mins. Yet it feels like a different world, away from all the hustle and bustle in the city. We ended up venturing out in the mornings and spending late afternoons and evenings around the house; and after 9 days we still felt we had had way too little time here!

Tropical Haven was a tropical paradise. To see it in person was better than the photos. The property is away from the tourist areas in a place where you can eat fresh fruit, listen to the birds and the breeze and cook yourself breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens who live there. But make no mistake, this isn't some dusty farm. It is a resort you don't have to share with other guests. Where the housekeeper will wash your laundry. Where the linens are soft and the pool towels never run low. This is a place to come to and drift away the heat of the day in the pool. Somewhere you will never want to turn on an electronic screen (unless it is your phone camera to catch an awesome sunset from the yoga platform or the smile on your loved one's face when they fall asleep in one of the hammocks).

The Tropical Haven is perfectly described as it really was a tropical haven. I stayed with my family of 7 for 3 days, lounging at the pool or relaxing in the hammocks. The haven is a bit far from Panama City so leave time to get into the city (this is our only flaw, but if you are looking to relax at the home only or willing to sit in traffic, then it is fine). Sandra recommends an excellent driver who got us where we needed to go on time and at a reasonable price. In our opinion, the space looked even nicer than in the photos. Sandra’s housekeeper was the sweetest, did our laundry and tidied up the home while we were out. Sandra gave great recommendations, was super responsive to questions, and a friendly host. We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat if we ever return to Panama.

We've had several experiences renting through Airbnb, and Sandra is by far the most gracious and responsive host with whom we've interacted. For example, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms was broken, and Sandra had it replaced the very next day. Also, since we weren't renting a car, it was essential that we have reliable transportation during the week. Her recommendations in that regard were spot on. We highly recommend Celso (Toucan Express)! As shown in the pictures, the house and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. So much thought has gone in to the decor and furnishings, both inside and out. We enjoyed many hours on the back porch and pool deck, morning, afternoon and evening. Rosy, the housekeeper, was so attentive and kind, and she felt like family by the end of the week. In sum, we could not have asked for a better place to stay in our first visit to Panama.

I had a memorable stay at Sandra’s with my aunt & her friends! Everything was so well kept & maintained! The house keeper was the sweetest, and was so hands on with any toilet issues we had. I honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer!! Everything is so beautiful about this house! If you are going to stay here, please plan on enjoying the house amenities for at least two days! Sandra is an excellent host and the home was great. Plenty of space and very clean. We took advantage of the outdoor bbq area, all the pools of the resort and several of the restaurants. We had great time and recommended for groups of families traveling together as we did. House is well located. Recommend the Dunas bar on the weekend, lots of fun music and ambiance, food trucks and drinks available. We also sailed on Outventures catamaran which was beautiful right out of the resort’s marina. For some reason the resorts ice cream shop does not sell ice cream! We drove over to Playa Blanca resort for a cold stone type ice cream experience. Also the Super 99 grocery store a few minutes away has everything you may need.

Sandra's place is a magical, enchanting, peaceful, fantastic home away from home. It was so lovely I wished I could stay. The design and layout were modern yet understated. Having lived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the constant breeze wafting through the open-screen door design was heavenly. Awaking to the sounds of birds chirping and the breeze rustling through the banana and palm trees took me back to my cherished childhood. It is a tropical paradise minus the bugs. I have been bitten in every country I have visited, BUT NOT in Panama. Rosy, the housekeeper, is a wonderful and sweet lady. She is very attentive but unobtrusive. She washed clothes, cleaned the house, and even once prepared a meal for us when we ran late. The yoga studio and hammocks were dreamy and helped me to unwind from my busy life. I had a medical emergency around midnight on the last day of our stay, and Sandra was immediately responsive and recommended John Hopkins Hospital. It saved my life! There is more...

Sandra's place was nothing short of incredible!! The pool, the grounds, the animals (Mikka!!), the living space. We loved it all! Everything was is in place to give us the best stay possible. Between walking the grounds in the morning to enjoying the swimming pool during the hot times of the day, Sandra's place was one of the highlights of our trip. So much to see and do - thank you again for being an amazing host!

We had a great stay at this house. It was extremely clean and everyone was very helpful. Sandra is very responsive and and easy wonderful to work with. Rosie was great and helped us out with everything we needed. All of the animals on the property were great and our kids loved seeing them every day. We loved the outdoor space and spent a lot of time out there. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had some amazing days staying at Sandras place by the beach. The house has four big rooms, lots of common area space and a fantastic outdoors with a nice pool and BBQ station. The location of the house was great, just a couple of steps from the hotel and the beach. Sandra was always quick to respond and very helpful in her communication. Would highly recommend this place!

Sandra’s property is beautiful! We truly felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe. We had a group of five in the house and there was plenty of room. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area and made good use of it, the pool, and the yoga platform on the hill. I really can’t say enough about our stay or this property. Sandra was super helpful in assisting us with organizing transportation. I highly recommend staying here. You will not regret it and you will not want to leave.
