I love this place so much! It’s my second time staying here while in Costa Rica and I hope not my last. If you are looking for something close to the beach, open air, surrounded by vegan food, this is your spot. The pool is amazing and refreshing and the staff is so flexible and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more!

Everything is great

Arboura is a very nice place. It's very close to the beach, as stated in the description. Everyone who works there is friendly and polite, and there's a very nice, peaceful atmosphere in general.

Family of four (two teenagers) - this place was perfect for our stay in Uvita. It has a relaxed campsite atmosphere and everything needed for a whale-watching stay. The walk to the ‘whale-tail’ beach was around 40 mins each way. Perfect. Lastly, the staff could not have been nicer. Thanks 🙏

Super cute little cabin and lodge. We stayed in cabin 8. It was right by the pool and had air conditioning in one of the bedrooms which was very nice while we worked on adjusting to the heat and humidity. Very simple amenities but we knew that going into it. Lived our stay and would definitely stay again.

This Airbnb is located within a small community of other cabins in close proximity to one another with a shared pool with outdoor shower for rinsing, ping pong table, three shared hot showers, and beautiful seating areas. Inside your cabin, you have your own private bathroom with a cold shower (very refreshing especially after a day at the nearby beach in walking distance), and AC inside the bedroom. Surrounding the area, you can hear and see birds all throughout the day and even may see a monkey while visiting the beach trail on the way to see the “whale’s tail”. I loved that they provide a board with all kind of information (including when low tide is) to help guests know what is in close proximity of the cabins. Also, if you need laundry done during your stay, you can pay $12 USD, and they’ll do the laundry for you. Thanks for having us!

We loved the place; it is very quiet, nice, and perfect for resting. Everything was great, we would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hosts were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious! The tiny home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Felt spoiled with having A/C in Costa Rica!

A perfect stay Absolutely lovely and considerate gites A very charming cabin, totally in the eco-lodge spirit, all made of wood. The surroundings, the pool, the hot showers—everything is absolutely amazing. Access to Marino Ballena Park is easy, just a few minutes' walk away.

We had an incredibly lovely time at the Arboura Eco Lodge. The cabanas are lovingly decorated and are truly located in the heart of the lush green jungle. Macaws, hummingbirds, and other birds included. Beautiful, partly shaded pool in the center, with sun loungers and a terrace. Three minutes to the beach, which is part of Ballena National Park. Also very popular with surfers. Restaurants and cafes within walking distance. A true vacation paradise!

We were completely satisfied with our place to stay and would have liked to have stayed longer in Uvita! The location was great, you could borrow bikes, snorkeling gear, and bodyboards for free – fantastic! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Loved the kitchen with the essentials, also lovely to have chairs and bikes available to use. Beautiful space in a cool area. Very quiet when i was there, people didnt really use the common areas but still a nice addition

Great experience even if short-lived! The hosts and the other tenants were lovely. The place is super peaceful and green. We even had a little cat as a new friend. Very friendly and super well located. No complaints, great!

Very good stay in our cabin, the place is pleasant, the pool too. The entrance to the beach is a 5-minute walk. The owner of the place is very nice.

It was a wonderful time, with howler monkeys, macaws and toucans as neighbors. We enjoyed a lot

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Walk to everything… it’s the rainy season right now.. laying on the screened porch listening to the rain is so therapeutic. Macaws, butterflies and birds happily fluttering around all day was delightful. This is an authentic beach cabin experience. Staff is warm and inviting… this is not a luxury stay, but it’s a grounding and soul cleansing experience. Bedroom had a/c and kept the humidity and heat at bay for sleeping… but I wouldn’t spend an unnecessary moment in the room when nature surrounds you. Def will be back ❤️

The perfect spot in Uvita! Super convenient location steps away from the beach and Bellena National Park. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The only thing is to make sure you park correctly (parallel parking rather than at an angle) if parking outside to avoid the police removing your license plate. The pool and common area was perfect for our family and we thought the grounds were a beautiful. It's not luxury, but it was exactly what we needed. We've already recommended this place to others!

Very nice place, a few minutes walk to Marino Ballena Park. We parked the car and did everything on foot! The pool is a lovely asset. The cabins are spacious, well-equipped for cooking, the air conditioning in the bedroom is appreciable. Bikes and bodyboards can be borrowed! Great value!

Great location. Restaurant within walking distance. Entrance to Marino Ballena Park within 5 minutes' walk. Very relaxing place, seems to have been made with a lot of recycled materials which makes this beautiful place charming. Swimming pool with buoys, board games, ping pong table… everything we needed to settle in and relax. The hosts are very nice and are there to help you if needed. For info the Tracopa bus stop is a little far on foot it is better to take a taxi.

Amazing place to stay. The cabins are comfortable and close to everything in Uvita. The hosts are fantastic and work hard to make sure everything is perfect!

Check in was easy as there was a reception where they explained everything. The Beach is nearby. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Cute and charming rooms.

Good, fairly inexpensive option to stay right near the beach. The cabins are cozy, clean, and well equipped. Staff was very helpful, friendly and we even got our laundry done here.

Such a beautiful place! Saw Toucans in the trees outside the window, very short walk to the beach, hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Nice cabins in gated area.

Family of 4 who stayed 9 days here. It was beautiful and we were happy to wake up to the sound of howlers as well as seeing them a couple of times in the trees mid day. Lots of birds and toucans which were very nice to see :) Walking distance to some local restaurants and definitely straight to the beach (this is a park that does charge a fee for entrance). Would recommend for those looking for a rustic camping style experience.

Great stay in arboura , all the teams are super responsive and friendly however our bathroom was wobbly. Beyond this point everything was perfect However, be careful that the beach next door is charged until 4:30 p.m. Have a nice day

Really nice and cozy huts, surrounded by nature. Howler monkeys will wake you up in the morning and during the night you can dream to the sound of the ocean!

The place was great and exactly as described. Definitely felt like we were in the rainforest, animals and all, but that was part of the experience.

We stayed one night before a snorkelling trip and it was perfect for us! Check in was easy, cabin was lovely and surrounded by greenery, and super close to the beach!

The home is exactly as described and in the photos. Ovi is easily accessible and very nice and helpful. The cabins are simple and equipped with the most necessary. Since they are made of wood and the windows are made of screens, you always have to expect an animal stuff. There was a room that was brick with air conditioning and the rest had fans. The beds are simple but ok. The kitchenette is well equipped. I particularly liked the string of lights, which made a great vibe. The shower is a garden hose and the water is cold. If you like to take a warm shower, go under the shared shower by the pool. The small complex is located in the middle of the greenery directly from there you can see monkeys and parrots. It's a two-minute walk to the national park, and there are also a few restaurants within walking distance. We can recommend Nativo, Kinsu and El Hornito. We felt comfortable there and had a good time.
