I rented this place for my elderly parents, who are not very tech-savvy. Louis was incredibly helpful when they got lost trying to find the property. He went above and beyond by looking for them while they were driving around. He was patient, kind, and did a wonderful job assisting them. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a great time at Casa Rosalita! Our group of 8 had plenty of space, and the kids loved staying in the casita by themselves. The view of the ocean and surrounding trees were absolutely beautiful. We loved having coffee on the patio and watching all of the monkeys and birds. That being said - there is LOTS of wildlife. Howler monkeys roam the trees nearby and there are so many birds to listen to. If you are sensitive to nature noises I definitely recommend bringing ear plugs for early morning activity. Every bathroom has an open air shower, which is lovely. You are in the jungle, so expect some bugs to be around. Louis was extremely helpful and super responsive to a couple of small issues that we had, and we really enjoyed talking with him. The location is great (follow driving directions provided, not google gps), close enough to town and beaches but far enough away to be private. Personally I wouldn't walk to the beach from the house, but it is a very easy drive. A great house!

Louis was a pleasure to deal with and was waiting for us when we arrived to help us get into the unit and greet us. A great place and our kids had such a great time in the pool and sleeping in the casita.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The house was perfectly clean, beautifully maintained, and truly felt like a hidden gem in Samara. The pool area was fantastic — such a relaxing and peaceful place to spend time — and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Louis was an amazing host: very friendly, responsive, and always quick to help with anything we needed. We genuinely had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The pool was an amazing bonus! We had dinner on the BBQ, enjoyed nature, and saw hummingbirds, butterflies, and lots of birds. The villa is very well-equipped! We couldn't have asked for better! We will definitely go back!

We needed a last minute place to stay in Samara and feel very lucky we locked down this gem to finish off our holiday. the property is beautiful, home is clean, pool is amazing! there is even speaker outside to hook up your music. you can see monkeys hanging out in the trees in the back yard. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is even beach chairs and beach toys to bring to the beach! I felt very comfortable here and would definitly come back.

We loved staying at Louis house! Very private and beautiful home surrounded by foliage. We were able to check in early which was great since we were traveling with a toddler. He even brought me a pack and play and high chair for my little one which was super helpful. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing! Louis was very responsive and was very proactive about any issues with the house. We loved our time there!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and this house exceeded our expectations! The pictures are accurate, the house was clean and well stocked. Louis was extremely responsive and a great host. The house is beautiful!!!! We’d definitely stay here again!

My 9 year-old son, wife, and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay at Louis' fine home in Sámara. Louis' property had everything that we needed. Our favorite spot on the property was the outdoor space, where we sat in the early mornings and late afternoons. We saw dozens of colorful birds and a sizeable troop of howler monkeys, all while enjoying a dip in the plunge pool. Tips (Google them): Granizados, Playa Carrillo, Rindemas, L'Authentique, Adobe Rental Car, oh, and it took us about 1:45 to drive from the house to Liberia Airport via Nicoya. Some reviews whining about the road leading to the property are way overblown. Most of the road to the property is well paved, except for about a 200m dirt/gravel section near the end. We had a 4WD but didn't engage the function at all. If you are a good driver and proceed with some common sense, the road will present no issues. Don't let that dissuade you from selecting this incredible home.

The house is perfect, secluded and private but a couple of minutes drive to the village and beautiful beach. The pool was amazing and gets sun all day. Louise is very response but we didn't need anything the house had it all. We have been to Samara a few times and this was our favorite place we have stayed in. Would stay again.

We had a great stay, very nice view, and great hosts. Some said walkable to town, I definitely recommend a golf cart. Louis set this up for us, super easy. I also recommend a dinner at the house with COCO who Louis recommended.
