It's a very nice, quiet place. The maintenance staff are very close by and friendly, which is a bit reassuring. The scenery is splendid and the house is very good. It's perfect for adults, but a little less so for younger guests due to the lack of space to run and play ball. The place is well located in relation to Granada, Masaya and Mombacho. On the other hand, the surrounding area is quite rural. The local people around were cheerful. Ideal place for a peaceful retreat for a few days. Jeffrey was not on site, but responded very quickly to messages.

We enjoyed our stay at Home in Apoyo Lagoon. Upon arrival, there was a small issue with the pool but the owners worked quickly to rectify it. The home is large and roomy and the beds were very comfortable.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! Stay of a lifetime! Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your magnificent home! Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!!

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Traveling to Nicaragua. Such a beautiful area. With a breathtaking view. Couldn’t have asked for a better view of the lake. Will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at Casa Castillo and it is definitely our favorite getaway. The Laguna de Apoyo preserve is beautiful and we love watching the birds and listening to the howler monkeys in the early morning. There is a lot to love about this place.

What a place! The view from the back is unreal, a perfect place to relax and recharge. The house is spacious and beds are comfortable. We especially were appreciative of Mario in helping to arrange transfers to Paradiso hostel and the airport. Also Mario assisted in a zip line and horseback riding tour, both were fun! We hope to come back next year. Thank you for sharing your amazing house with our family!!

I recommend Jeffrey residence if you're traveling with family, it's beautiful. Many thanks to young Mario and Ms. Yamilet for taking care of us, they are very friendly. The property shown in the photos is exactly what you get. The property is in a good location, very clean, and spacious, in a private area with restaurants, shops, pool is maintained and has a beautiful view, etc. nearby.

This is my 3rd year in a row visiting Casa Castillo. My family, friends and I love this place and look forward to going again next year. It is so beautiful and peaceful with the million dollar views. It is not a walkable town but we had the best taxi driver that lives down the road from the house that I would totally recommend. He took us on half day tours to Granada, Masaya and Catarina and to the local restaurants to eat. See ya next year!!!

The pictures truly do not do it justice. The view from the backyard and even from the inside of the home is so beautiful and surreal. The house manager Mario was very proactive, he sent me a text message through whats app before arriving to the Airbnb and during my stay making sure everything was going well. I appreciated all the effort and detail and assistance provided. I hope to come back one day for much longer

We had another great stay at Jeff’s house.The views are spectacular and the pool very refreshing.Enjoyed seeing the howler monkeys.We highly recommend this rental and hope to return again
