Fantastic location right on the beach and still central and walkable to local shops and restaurants. Fabulous host who was directly available and personally checked us in and out. Huge space and perfectly comfortable with everything you could need. As one who loves to cook the kitchen was very well appointed with sharp knives and all utilities. Outdoor grill was nice touch and had fresh tank of propane. Overall this was a super stay and I would recommend 100%. 10/10 would book again.
Everything was excellent!!! The house was divine!!! Being a few steps from the beach is wonderful!!! We had an amazing few days!!!
We had an incredible time at casa sueno. Incredible location. Great spot with two toddlers. The paddle boards and kayak were great additions.
Location of house was perfect on the beach and central to everything we wanted to do including kiteboarding, pickleball, little chapitos, and good restaurants. Only drawback was the road right next to the house that had heavy boat traffic and atvs that whiz through the blind corner by the front of the house. Also, the attached casita does not receive enough signal from main house to get any WiFi would’ve been good to know as I needed that private space to work and could not. Outside that, the house itself was awesome had a nice cement area in front to clean/store our Kiteboard gear and everything inside to cook meals bbq etc. plenty of room for all 5 of us!

Hi Megan, thanks for the review, unfortunately there is not much that we can do about the road noise (other than disclose it on the listing, which we already do). We will definitely look into adding an extender to the back casita. All your feedback is greatly appreciated!
We loved our stay at Casa Esperanza and location! Lots of activity and so much to see right off the patio! Cows, walking feet away from our lanai and boats and people coming and going. The only thing for me that was missing was a swimming pool! It was extremely hot in June. Luckily the air condition worked great throughout the whole entire house so we could escape the heat! We would definitely stay there again!
This is our second year staying at CasaPescadora. We love it. And we appreciate some of the upgrades they made with new kitchen appliances and new paint. Wolf Management is excellent and they always are very responsive and super reliable property management. We can’t wait to come back!
Casa Sueno has it all. A feast for the eyes and therapy for the soul. The grounds are immaculately kept with native cacti, palms and florals, with ample spots to rest. Whether you want full sun or shade, there is plenty of furniture to accommodate your needs. The beach side of the house has a great lounging area where we could watch hummingbirds visit the aloe plants, manta rays jumping in the surf, kite surfers taking advantage of the breeze and an occasional breaching whale. We fished from shore every day, took quads to the waterfall and tide pools. Lots of places within walking distance too. Met so many wonderful people. Like they say, “no bad days”. The house and casita were perfect for our needs. Powerful WiFi signal - very reliable! One brief power outage that we barely noticed. A/C worked like a champ. No problems with plumbing. Two large bottles of drinking water provided. The private patio off the master was a nice feature. Loved this place & will return for sure.
The accommodation is a bit outdated, which you could already see on the website. The amenities are fully OK. Unfortunately, the whole place was very dusty on arrival and also not quite clean in some corners. Quite surprisingly, however, came the morning noise when the fishermen pulled their boats onto the beach with the help of a bulldozer. Since the house only had a thatched roof, it felt as if the bulldozer had been driven right next to the bed. And this doesn't just happen once from 6 AM. Otherwise, the property is right on the beach and you can watch both the kitesurfers and the whales relaxed from the terrace. The place has nice restaurants and bars, all within a 15-minute walk. If you love pickleball, you're in good hands with almost 40 courts. We will gladly return to Los Barriles. Whether we can stay in this place is something we need to discuss intensively again.

We do mention in our listing that the property is located near a busy street that is used in daily basis. However, we realize that this information may not have been clear, we will edit our wording. We want to emphasize that Los Barriles is a rapidly developing fishing village, and we acknowledge that this growth can result in increased activity, including fishing, construction, and traffic. We understand that this can sometimes affect the tranquility of the area. Great place, not enough time to enjoy, super helpful staff. We had a great time.
The property and staff were fantastic. 8 of us for a week and enjoyed every moment especially the sun rises. Would go back in a heartbeat.
This stay was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The host was easy to work with and communication was great. It was everything we had hoped for and more.
this is our 2nd time staying at Casa Sueno and we thoroughly enjoyed it both times. highly recommend.
