We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to everyone! The view was absolutely beautiful, the accommodation was very private and intimate, and the hosts were always quick to respond whenever we had a question. It was everything we were hoping for and more! We would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time to Ometepe in two years and my second stay at Wilber and Lesbia's place. It was my girlfriend's first time to Nicaragua. We will return to this home as much as possible. it's my favorite by far. the garden is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The amount of love and happiness put into place on the land shows. the first time I stayed was in May 2024 and there were THOUSANDS of mangoes on the ground from the trees in the yard. In August 2026, there are no mangoes to be found (its not mango season) ....HOWEVER...the amount of fruits and vegetables on property, in season, was something unique and special. I will list the ones I remember here: Limon Oregano Basil Two different mints Spinach Tumeric Starfruit Corn Jackfruit Ginger Cinammon Tree Miracle Plant SEVERAL Coconut Trees and more that I cant remember. The view of the volcano cannot be forgotten. Amazing and attentive hosts. i truly love these people. I consider them family. I hope you do to! Friends for life! Thank you

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and the Airbnb itself was beautiful. The location right by Lake Nicaragua was absolutely gorgeous, and we loved the beautiful garden on the property. They also offer breakfast that you can order, which was such a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! ❤️

We had an amazing time staying at La isla Bonita. Lesbia and Wilber were very accommodating and answered any questions we had. They also have a moto available for rent and Kayaks you can use. The cabin has amazing views of the volcano with a secluded beach right at your doorstep! We were very sad to leave and hope we can make it back to this dream of a island soon. Thank you Lesbia and Wilber!!! 🫶🏼💕🌋

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is stunning—it truly felt like staying in the middle of a botanical garden. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcomed us with fresh organic bananas and a guanábana from the property. They also invited us to pick anything we wanted from the garden, which was such a special touch. I loved making fresh lemongrass and cinnamon tea each morning. The view of Volcano Concepción was absolutely breathtaking and one of our favorite parts of our stay. Although there isn't air conditioning, the fans kept the house comfortable, and we slept well every night. The kitchen was easy to use and stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Most importantly, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive. They even helped us coordinate assistance when we got a flat tire, which we really appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on Ometepe and would happily return. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed all over Ometepe but this place is our favorite!! It’s so special and magical. Feels like a secret gem. Very private and quiet, but the sweet hosts Wilber and Lesbia went out of their way to let us know they were around and available if we needed anything. They also gave us some very helpful local recommendations. The cabin is clean with such beautiful and unique design. Very spacious and airy and bright. Being right on the lake is incredible, but you’re just far enough back behind some trees that you’re sheltered from the full force of the winds. We will absolutely come back here again and again!

Perfect for spending time as a family and getting away from the stress of the city. Perfect for bringing groceries and cooking... Very nice.

This place was beautiful. The location was perfect: you're steps from the lake and the view is amazing. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was very practical. The Loana restaurant brings your food to the door, and it's delicious. From the beach, you can walk 20 minutes to Playa Mangos and 15 minutes to the Cabellito restaurant.
