Great property, perfect location and with a great host! This is everything we needed as a family of four, on an extended getaway in Costa Rica. Great kitchen to cook, clean spacious house. This is located just off the main street, so you are away, yet close to everything. The host Yira was top notch, I used to own a Air BnB and be a super host for 12 years and Yira definitely is a super host! Pura Vida, solo bueno

Yira was a great host, friendly and attentive to making sure everything worked well for our comfort. We enjoyed the house and Yira's hospitality. We finished our stay and we want to vacation at this place again.

Casa Barcelona was our home away from home. Spacious home that accommodated 8 people easily. Master bedroom was larger than expected with a private space to suntan right off the room. 2 smaller bedroom rooms accommodated 3 people per room without any issue and had bathrooms within the each room. Kitchen was well equipped and a large island was helpful during meal prep. What drew us to Casa Barcelona was the beautiful pool in the well kept backyard. The photo didn’t disappoint and the backyard became the centrepiece of our stay. It was well used daily and nightly by everyone. During our stay, the pool light popped out. We called Yira right away and within 24 hours the light was fixed.

Yira was a great host and very kind! She arranged transportation for us to and from the airport and the house was great as well. Walkable to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend booking this place! :)

We had a great stay at Casa Barcelona. Had 3 adults and 3 - 16 year old boys. Great location for walking to the beaches, restaurants and bars. The pool was amazing. Place looked just like the pictures and really was a great find.

Great house for our family. Walking distance to the beach and all tamarindo entertainment. Safe area. The pool was great to have and the kids loved it. The house had everything we needed and was a great base for our vacation.

Yira's AirBnB is 100% as awesome as the listing presents. Fantastic home, very private with downtown Tamarindo a few minutes walk away. The pool is perfect, the AC works well, feels secure and private. We look forward to coming back.

Yira was a very good host. She was always very responsive, answering right away. Offered and gave assistance when we asked and very nice. The pool was great and plenty of room in the house too. Definitely recommend!

Home was spacious with 3 bedrooms (with ensuite’s) . kitchen was well equipped and home was about 15 min walking distance to the beach and many good restaurants. Pool and outdoor space were amazing. Rooms were clean and on site laundry was nice. Patio furniture in the living room was adequate but not that comfortable for seating. Some maintenance is needed for water leaking issues but they were addressed with the host and compensation was provided for any inconvenience . Ants also appeared to be a problem in the kitchen and bathrooms . we advised the host and suggested traps for any further problems. Great , quiet location is only 5 min walk to a grocery store and other amenities. Due to Costa Rica’s heat - highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Host was very responsive to any questions or concerns . Wonderful vacation location.

Great location away from the traffic, close enough to the beach that you can walk. Property was clean and the pool is a nice bonus. Yira is very responsive. We stayed 14 days and were surprised after the first week housekeeping came in and cleaned.

Yira responded to all messages very quickly. The house was perfect for 3 couples as we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was great having a pool as the weather in Tamarindo was very hot. There were some issues with the pool filtration initially, but Yira organized a pool maintenance person to come by quickly. Lots of linens and towels and a washer and dryer available for guest use. Kitchen is well equipped. I might suggest a kettle be added to the amenity list. Property is quite lovely, with a few small quick fixes (burnt out bulbs and some small water leaks) that were communicated to the host on departure. Overall a great stay and would recommend!

Yira, Thank you, for our lovely stay in Casa Barcelona. The location is close and within an easy five minute walk into Tamarindo. Next time, we’ll take a taxi or shuttle into Tamarindo rather than renting a vehicle as there is so much to do all within walking distance, (and if one wanted to explore more of Costa Rica, there are car rentals in Tamarindo. We have stayed in many ABNB homes, and yours ranks right up w/the best of them. It was nicely stocked with ample toilet paper, laundry detergent, and soaps. The kitchen had all we needed: a sharp knife set, pots & pans, serving bowls, storage containers & baskets for tidy storage of dried goods & fruit. Everything was clean, and inviting, and your communication was excellent. Bonus items: washer & dryer, the two boogie boards, ample beach towels, and bbq. I do recommend giving written directions to CB as without gps, it’s a bit tricky to find for the first time. Thanks again for the amazing accommodations. Susan

Yira is wonderful and her place is beautiful! We had such a great time at her place. We were three adults and one infant - the place felt spacious and clean. Restaurants and the beach are walkable. You’re away from the crowds. The pool and outdoor area was amazing and we loved the peaceful atmosphere. Yira is super responsive and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again! 10/10

Very spacious and good location in the city!

Beautiful house, very functional, very large bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Very well equipped kitchen, outdoor patio table perfect for outdoor dining. My spouse loved the propane BBQ. Very nice outdoor layout. We walked (5 minutes from the accommodation) to the Thursday night market, it's worth a visit. Yira responds to questions quickly, she is very proactive. Well-located house, 5 minutes by car from the beach. We absolutely loved our stay .

Yira is an excellent host and very responsive, thorough and kind. She even checked on our shuttle. The house is very clean and lots of supplies available such as detergent and cleaning supplies. The pool was great!

My family of 6 stayed here for 6 days. We loved that we had our own private oasis. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks by the pool. We loved that we were walking distance to everything from shopping, restaurants and the beautiful beach. We cooked a few of our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The house was very clean and was spacious. We loved the night market on Thursday night,That was a few blocks away. We didn’t have our transportation booked until 1130 and Yira was kind enough to allow us to enjoy some extra time hanging out by the pool. This was our first time in Costa Rica and we have already been talking about returning next year. Yira was very quick at any questions I had when planning this trip and while I was there. The only issue we had was when giving instructions on the location of the house. Even with sending the google link, every one had a hard time finding the house.

A perfect space near all Tamerindo has to offer! We loved our stay. Pool is amazing and the house was just ideal for our party of 5. Yura greeted us and was ver communitive and kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend!!

Don’t pay attention to any negative reviews — this place is wonderful. The location is quiet yet very close to town, and it’s only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The house looks exactly like the photos. While a few minor updates could be made, nothing affects the stay or the overall experience. The pool is perfect for morning swims, and the house has everything a family needs. We were a group of 7 (including 3 kids), and everyone slept comfortably. It also felt very safe. Yira was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend!

The house is very spacious, there were 8 of us and it accommodated us super well! Everything is very clean, very beautiful, new, working perfectly! Super well equipped, we made barbecue, hamburger! Close to downtown, we walked there every day to eat. I highly recommend it!

Yira’s place looked just like the pictures and everything was as described. Yira was very nice and helpful. We stayed here for my bachelorette. My bridesmaids contacted her and she helped them get in contact with a local business decorator and local driver. Everything turned out great and I had an amazing time staying here!

Group of 7 women on a girls trip to Costa. We had a great time, Yira our host was wonderful and the town is easy to get around in rented golf carts or Ubers. The house was big enough for us and had a great outdoor patio with pool. We even saw a troop of monkeys from the patio and heard them howling at sun rise. Great place!

Casa Barcelona was a great place to stay on a friends reunion trip! Great pool and common spaces and comfortable sleeping arrangements for 5-7 people. Solid location, about a 10 minute walk from central tamarindo/beach.

Everything was good, the house was very nice

This house and host were amazing. Traveling abroad can sometimes be stressful but the host had everything we needed and helped us with local suggestions and connections. Having a private pool and a space big enough for everyone to have fun and feel at home was the cherry on top. I would recommend highly to anyone traveling to Tamarindo.

Great location. Was walkable to everywhere but also just far enough to be quieter. Yard is beautiful and the perfect little oasis with the pool. Perfect place for families and felt like our home right away. Thanks Yira for being a great host and for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

My family had a wonderful stay! This home was extremely suitable to our family needs. 4 adults + 2 kids were very comfortable. The space was just right. We loved the pool, outdoor gazebo, and indoor bedrooms + bathrooms, living area, and kitchen were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. The nearby grocery store was so convenient. We enjoyed our stay so much!

I have been to Tamarindo numerous times. We stayed here 15 days. It's nice being surrounded by nature, monkeys, racoons, iguanas, birds, and cats came to visit. "Tom" is what I named the cat that visited daily morning and night. He was the highlight of the house for us. We really miss him. The road is gravel, uneven and bumpy for walking. I was aware of this from previous stays in the area We rented a golf cart for our older family member to get around. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, many restaurants, grocery store is close. The home is nice. The master bdrm is large w/ attached bathroom, but no closet. 2nd room has 1 bunk bed and a twin bed. 3rd room has a twin bed. All rooms had TVs. Den has couch/pull out, but not much of a mattress to sleep on. There is a lot of linens. We used the washer and dryer. The pool, patio was used a lot by us. Trees surround pool, sometimes leaves fall as expected. Yira was wonderful. Responded immediately to anything we needed. Great price

The house is perfect! We were eight people from the same family: three children, three adults, and two grandparents. It was a great place. Close to everything, but quiet. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is beautiful, everything is there to make the most of it. The house is a 10 minute walk from Tamarindo's action, next to a grocery store and services. We drove to the beach to help my parents, but it can be done on foot for those who are not afraid of the sun. Yira is an exceptional host, she answered any questions we had, she made sure the house was still in good condition. On the evening of our arrival, she made sure we had everything we needed. She even opened the lights to make us feel welcome. This is a place you won't regret renting!

We loved our stay here. It is even better than the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. AC works good. It was so nice to have a pool and sit outside to watch the birds. Howler monkeys visited too. We decided to rent a golf cart but it is also walkable to town and beach.

Yira was an outstanding host. She helped us every step we f the way. From figuring out transfers to and from the airport to dining recommendations and more. Her home is just as the photos show. Warm open lots of light and great gathering areas. We loved the kitchen and all the amenities. The outside pool area and a spectacular. It’s like a private oasis. She has plenty of beach towels and all other things you need. The location is great. Several coffee shops close by with lots of restaurants with easy beach access. If we ever decide to return to Tamarindo we will book Yaris place again. Definite 5 stars.

Stayed at the house with family over Christmas. House was very secure, including gated drive for car. Plenty of room for 5 people with 3 different bedrooms. Kitchen was spacious, having a private pool was perfect to get out of the afternoon heat. Very walkable (10 minutes) to restaurants, shops, and beach.

Beautiful spacious home close to all the action! This home was perfect for our family of five, well-stocked with everything we needed and Yira is a very responsive host. We really enjoyed the pool area and easy walk to restaurants and the beach. We would highly recommend this home.

Yira gave us a great welcome. Lots of functionality and very clean place. Safe neighborhood 10 min walk to the beach. We were 2 families with 5 children in total so we greatly appreciated the 3 full bathrooms and the privacy from the top for a family.

Yira’s place was our favourite on our trip (two other similar places). It was quaint but very functional. Two of us enjoyed our morning coffee/swim in the lovely pool. A evening swim or two happened under the stars. Highly recommended!!

Yira’s home was impeccable! Much larger and nicer than the photos. We (2 adults, 3 teenagers) loved the privacy of the pool, yard and master bedroom balcony. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Super close to the Thursday Night Market and highly recommend El Moro down the road for dinner. Incredible, comfortable bedrooms—all with en suite bathrooms & an additional half bath. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Tamarindo, a gorgeous property.

Our stay was wonderful! It's nice to have AC and a pool when staying in Costa Rica. Our host was very responsive and kind while introducing us to the space. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's a bit off the beaten path from Tamarindo proper, so definitely plan on having good transport from this place, whether by rental car or motorcycle rental.

Beautiful house, even better than the photos. We stayed here as a group of 7 and had a great time using the pool, kitchen and washing machines. The house was spotless and we had a great check in experience with Yira being there in person. Location was good, we walked to the beach and restaurants every day, it’s also near grocery stores and souvenir stores.

We had a great time staying at Yira’s beautiful home in Tamarindo. It was a great location in walkable distance to the downtown area and beach, the pool was in great condition, and inside was clean with wonderful AC. Yira was very responsive and clear with all check in and out instructions. I would recommend to stay here while in Tamarindo!

This place was amazing and would recommend it to anyone. It's even nicer than in the pictures. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a single, and the third has a single bed and bunkbed, as well as two full bathrooms, so a lot of room for a small group or family. Yira was very helpful and responsive and the place was just so lovely. The pool was absolutely amazing and the location was very walkable to everything though nice to be a bit outside of the core area. I would absolutely stay here again and am already hoping this place is available the next time I visit Tamarindo. Thank you Yira!

Yira's place was perfect. It had this great mix of privacy but near to everything. We felt secluded in our little Oasis but were close enough to walk to restaurants, beaches, groceries, stores,etc. There was plenty of room for our family of five. The kitchen had what we needed. Plenty of linen, including beach towels. The pool was always warm. We ate all our meals outside. The AC was at a perfect temperature. Beautiful decor. Yira was the most responsive host we've had yet. She would respond within 15min if not within 5min after sending her a message. I'd 100% stay here again.

Our stay at Casa Barcelona was exceptional. We loved having the pool to relax in after a day out. We had plenty of room for a group of six( 3 couples) and loved having both an indoor and outdoor dining table. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have laundry on site. The location was perfect- slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, but VERY walkable. We walked the entire time. You are a three minute walk from the nicest grocery store we saw in Tamarindo as well as the pharmacy.

The place was beautiful with everything we needed. Close to restaurants and the beach. We rented golf carts but definitely walkable. Would stay there again if we end up back in Tamarindo. Yira was there to greet us when we arrived and answered all texts immediately if we had questions.

Loved the house for our three small families. Clean, beautiful, great pool. Yira was very responsive and helpful. As others recommended, a gold cart was good to have to transport the children and older folks to and from the beach. We are returning!
