It’s my favorite place to stay when I go to La Fortuna, it’s very quiet and relaxing, super clean and very green.

We were a family of 5 with three kids who stayed four nights. We had a lovely time and were very comfortable. The house was in great condition, the kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts were friendly and very responsive. The hot tub in the jungle was a big hit!

Beautiful! Impeccable, intimate and quiet, it gets all its charm from its natural environment and its river. Our hosts were perfect, and their little touches (i.e., changing towels, cleaning, but especially the fresh eggs) enhanced our stay. We would recommend it in a second!

Loved this place, the sweet jealous goats that wanted attention over the other animals to the bunnies and baby ducks, the adult ducks that made a trip over to our place on the far side every morning to do whatever they were doing, but by far our favorite was the dog Milo that we convinced to come see us every day, the most respectful and friendly dog you could imagine. We ate a lot of fresh eggs from their farm delivered to our place. Cannot recommend this place enough.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house is beautiful, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we truly felt at home. The host was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was always available, gave us fantastic local tips and recommendations, and responded to every message almost immediately. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself is gorgeous, with a creek, a beautiful pool, and a peaceful natural setting. Our house also had a hot tub, which we enjoyed every evening after spending the day exploring all the wonderful attractions nearby. It was the perfect way to relax and end each day. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to come back soon. Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Our stay at Magdi’s was perfect. We had a family of 6 and it was our first trip to Costa Rica. The house was very private and only about 10 minutes from La Foturna which was the perfect location that was close to town but also very private, clean, safe and peaceful. I would very much recommend Magdi’s place for any group. Getting there and the communication from the host made the trip very easy. Highly recommend staying here.

Honestly can't find fault. One of our best Airbnb stays. Very secluded but close to all the activities in the area. Kids loved collecting eggs at the farm and meeting the animals, swimming in the pool and the little stream. Gardens are amazing. Property was immaculate. Host responded almost immediately and was very helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. Host was very helpful and recommended a delicious and affordable restaurant close to the home prior to our arrival. The house is clean and comfortable. The home is located right between La Fortuna and La Paz, which was perfect for us. We were only there two nights but it was great for our group.

Nice green lush location. Lot's of humming birds spotted. Loved the hot-tub in the evening and the fresh eggs at our arrival. Friendly host offering to do service during our stay, even though we stayed for just a few days. Felt very secure. Great WI-FI (this is an important feature for our teen kids). Pizza place for takeaway nearby and only a short ride to the La Fortuna center.

We loved our stay near Fortuna and having traveled to different parts of Costa Rica the kids liked this place the best. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The hospitality and kindness of everyone we met was very much appreciated. The supermarket at the end of the street and the restaurants gives you everything within reach. A great base for exploring the Fortuna and Arenal area.

Magda’s place was an absolute dream! The outdoor space is breathtaking. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. We stayed with our two older kids and our baby and there was more than enough room for all of us. Everything was spotless. Probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. You can tell so much thought and care went into making guests feel comfortable. We were welcomed with a basket of fresh eggs from the farm waiting on the kitchen counter, which was such a thoughtful touch. The farm itself was adorable! Our kids couldn’t wait to wake up in the morning to visit the animals and they loved wandering through the beautiful garden. We noticed several fruit trees and so many different plants which made exploring even more enjoyable. The sound of the creek was incredibly peaceful and the pool was the cherry on top. Every part of our stay exceeded our expectations.

We loved this place! Perfectly located about ten minutes out of town, so the place was so peaceful and welcoming. My kids loved the farm and the surrounding area felt like a private little rainforest. We felt safe and at home the entire time!

Beautiful stay near La Fortuna. It’s a beautiful slice of the jungle right in your backyard, safe clean comfortable while also adventurous and present. The large glass doors to the jungle with the pool and hot tub are great. The farm is cute and lovely to visit.

This place was such a lovely home for us near La Fortuna. It was clean and the grounds were immaculate. The pool was fun and the hot tub beautiful. When we needed help with the refrigerator someone showed up immediately and Eddie was always super responsive. Very comfy landing spot for our family of six.

Beautiful home in a lush oasis!

This is a beautiful villa! It felt very safe and quiet. The hot tub was a huge plus on rainy afternoons and the gardens are gorgeous. A small market is nearby for necessities. The AC was powerful and we were always comfortable! They even had two mid-stay housecleaning visits, which was so nice. She even did the dishes for us! Fresh eggs from the farm and super cute animals to visit. Their dog is just a doll. We would definitely stay again.

My family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sounds of the river, and the farm animals! The home is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is a great location to do all the activities around La Fortuna. Definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this place! It was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-organized. The owners are wonderful and very respectful. As a small note, it's about 15 minutes away from La Fortuna by car, but it wasn't a problem since there's a convenient supermarket nearby for anything you might need. We loved our stay

This place is beautiful, modern with a great view, and clean. If you're looking for peace and quite this is the place! Outside of town a ways to get away from the crowds.

Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip to La Fortuna. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well maintained, but what made it so special were the little moments we experienced as a family. Every morning, we would sit by the little river with a cup of coffee, listening to the sound of the water and enjoying the tranquility before starting our day. It quickly became our favorite spot to relax and take in the beauty of Costa Rica. For our children, though, the absolute highlight of every morning was finding Milo, the sweet farm dog. They would wake up excited to go look for him so they could pet him, give him lots of love, and spend time playing together. Milo became such a special part of our vacation and created memories our kids will talk about for years. The hosts have created such a warm and welcoming place that feels like so much more than just an Airbnb. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Someone met us at check-in to walk us through the property, explain the amenities, provide instructions, and share helpful tips. The host also gave us great local restaurant recommendations and even helped translate our order at a nearby pizzeria. The Airbnb was very clean, and a cleaning service was offered during our stay. They thoroughly cleaned the space, made the beds, and helped keep everything tidy throughout our visit. The pool and jacuzzi were well maintained, easy to use, and truly enhanced our experience. We used both multiple times during our stay. Most importantly, we booked this Airbnb very last minute after experiencing a robbery at the Airbnb we had originally been staying in. The host took us within hours of us reserving it and we really appreciated that!! Since Costa Rica is known for petty crime having strong security measures implemented in the house made us feel safer!!

My family really enjoyed this beautiful home and property. It was spacious, immaculate, well stocked and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 older teens. The amenities are just as described, we enjoyed it all! The pool, the animals, Milo the sweet perro, and the grounds are incredible- so well landscaped and peaceful. We had fresh eggs each morning and they even have free laundry available for guest use. All correspondence was friendly and prompt. We requested cleaning one day during our stay and came back to find it like we just checked in again along with dirty dishes cleaned and put away. Above and beyond our expectations in every way, gracias para todos! We would highly recommend.

We loved our stay here! We loved the jungle like setting. Our daughter enjoyed the animals (especially the goats) and we all enjoyed the farm fresh eggs. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. I wish we would’ve had more time to spend here as I would’ve loved to spend an afternoon in one of the hammocks by the creek! I felt like this was a real Costa Rican experience, much more so than a resort!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay while in La Fortuna. Close to town, secure, and the chicken eggs for breakfast were amazing!

Our villa was perfect for two couples and even 3 would had been comfortable. It was very private with beautiful, private surroundings. We loved being able to have fresh eggs and interact with the farm animals. The location was perfect with so much to do. We had some trouble finding the place but when we reached out to the host, we were directed in. We wish would have had more time to spend at the villa because we were mostly out exploring. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay close to La Fortuna.

The location of this accommodation is privileged, surrounded by nature, and if you have time to observe, you can find diverse wildlife, which makes it an incredible place to stay. I don't think you need to go anywhere else. We didn't have enough time to enjoy it, but we hope to have the opportunity to return and take advantage of everything this accommodation has to offer. Highly recommended and excellent service from the hosts, who were friendly, decisive and helpful.

The house was super beautiful and kept extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate fresh farm eggs, meditated by the river on property and enjoyed swimming in the serene pool. It was located just outside of all the rif raff which, for us, was exactly what we were looking for. Such an easy drive to coffee, restaurants and anything else we may need. Highly recommend showing up with any groceries you need to make meals as you have a fully equipped kitchen but not big grocery stores near by.

We will definitely be coming back here. It is so beautiful. Magdi was amazing. She was always available and has the best recommendations. She referred chef Diego. OMG! There are no words to describe his cooking. Probably the best we ever had. I highly recommend this property.

We loved this vacation. Magdi provided us with help from Eddie who was extremely knowledgeable about what tours were the best and even went above and beyond in helping us get a cake and decorate the place for my sons birthday! Five stars!!!

It was a perfect relaxing spot to come home to each day. The outdoor space is really what stands out & makes this place so special -and the attentiveness of the staff. Magdi was funny, personable and quickly addressed the leak we had from a huge rainstorm. When the downpour lasted all morning it was nice to just sit on the porch and watch the mom and dad bird feed the chicks nesting right next to us or the hummingbirds or other birds. The garden is like full ecosystem and full of flowers, tropical treasures & birds. We had fresh eggs delivered during our stay from the chickens! The condo was cleaned once during our stay which I’ve never had before at an Airbnb - such a nice surprise. I enjoyed the private jacuzzi, kids loved the pool. It’s about a 18-20 min drive from La Fortuna. Great brick oven pizza spot right up the road when you’re tired of Sodas &Casada. We felt very safe (like 3 layers of security) but it would feel safe anyway I think. There’s a lovely creek, walking paths.

The Bukala Village was an excellent place to stay in La Fortuna. We enjoyed the private and peaceful surroundings, while also being in close proximity to the town's center and attractions. We enjoyed the farm and amenities on the property. It was also a real treat to have the home cleaned up and eggs delivered during our stay. The home itself had what we needed and was comfortable, but was not as updated as we were expecting. We didn't really see other residents or the owners, so it still felt private. Thanks to other reviews we were tipped off to the nearby restaurants (pizza & Terraza 86) which were great and very family-friendly. Overall, we recommend--especially for families.

Nice place, relaxing, hot tub surrounded by a beautiful garden in a river or stream running through. I would recommend a little bit better signage out front. The Google kept taking us to the Neighbor’s house. Also, if you’re thinking you’re gonna to have a view of volcano from a location you do not. Lastly, you are probably about 15 minutes from La fortuna. Ultimately was a nice quiet, peaceful place to relax.

Mandi’s place was absolutely amazing! Everything was spotless and very well kept—you can tell she really cares about her guests’ experience. The jacuzzi was a huge highlight and made our stay even more relaxing. What really stood out was how she went above and beyond—on short notice, she even helped get our clothes washed, which we truly appreciated.

My family loved our stay at Magid’s villa. We felt very safe the entire time and got to bask in the beauty of the property and wildlife. My kids (ages 4,5,9&11) loved visiting the little farm daily to visit the animals. We also enjoyed the fresh farm eggs that were provided to us at checkin. (Thank you for this treat!). I loved drinking coffee on the porch watching the birds play and taking in all of the jungle sounds. It was magical. The villa was about 15min ride to downtown La Fortuna with a few restaurants and coffee shops along route as well. We loved everything about our stay and will return again if we come back to this area of CR!

This place is a little piece of heaven. Great location close to town and activities, but far enough out that it was quiet and peaceful. The house itself was perfect, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. My kids loved the chickens and goats, as well as the pool. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Communication was great and fast - even when we forgot something at check out we were notified in only a few minutes and could turn around and go back to get it. Everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home. From start to finish, everything from check in to check out went smoothly. We felt secure within the gated units. The home was tidy and clean, the beds comfortable and the jacuzzi a nice touch. I really enjoyed the blossoming tree with pink flowers that attracted hummingbirds, the fresh eggs we cooked for breakfast, the beautiful flowers and garden along the stream, and the tiny farm with 2 friendly goats, chickens and rabbits. A couple of minutes away, there’s a convenience store, a pizza spot and a restaurant and a few minutes further down and great small coffee spot. Thank you Magdi and team!

Wow, this home is beautiful, inside and out! The house is surrounded by beautiful plants and trees, and we saw an incredible variety of birds! Even a toucan! The house is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Magdi was friendly and so helpful. Her recommendations for local places to eat were much appreciated!

We had a lovely stay at the Bukala Village Lodge. Villa Heliconias was squeaky clean and well equipped. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the farm animals were a delight. We especially loved the friendly goats. Fresh farm eggs were delivered to our villa. La Fortuna is about a 15 minute drive and is packed with restaurants, bars and shops. There is lots to explore nearby in the greater La Fortuna and Arenal area. Magdi was an attentive and thoughtful host. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area!

We had a wonderful stay here & truly enjoyed every minute of it. The house was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. It’s a great size, & the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. One of the nicest touches was the farm-fresh eggs waiting for us in the kitchen - such a thoughtful welcome. The best feature of the house is the hot tub. Soaking in it at the end of a fantastic day was amazing, & the surrounding foliage makes the experience even more special. The tub is partially covered, so when the rainforest rain starts, you get the perfect balance of feeling the rain while staying warm in the water - a really memorable experience. The property itself is beautiful, with so many plants & trees that make it lovely to walk around. There’s a small stream running alongside the property, which became one of our favorite coffee spots in the morning. Overall, this is a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay, and we would happily come back again.

Situated in its private garden alongside a running creek, our private hot tub gave us beautiful views of nature. We were far enough from town for serenity yet close enough to start our adventures to the volcano, rafting, birdwatching, and the Pura Vida that Costa Rica offers.

We loved our stay at Bukala Village! The gardens and the creek was absolutely beautiful!!! We also made friends immediately with the goats and chickens. The bunnies were adorable. Must have been seven baby bunnies when we were there. The beds were comfortable and the living area in kitchen. We’re just perfect.! We highly recommend, especially if you appreciate the beauty of nature!!

Magda’s place is exactly as described and the phots don’t do justice. Even though our time in La Fortuna was short, it was absolutely beautiful and it all met and exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely time here and thoroughly recommend anyone to stay. Magdalena is very friendly and responds almost immediately to any questions. The property is in a quiet area and easy to get to from La Fortuna by car, though its location is on a dark road and there are no lit signs to indicate it’s whereabouts so in the dark slow down! (Once off of the road you will approach the electric gate which surrounds the property). The hot tub was a welcome end to each day and beds are very comfortable.

Our family of four had a truly delightful stay at Magdi’s place. It was the perfect balance of a beautiful, peaceful escape that was convenient to La Fortuna and surrounding activities. My wife and I and our two friends had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Magdi’s home. We knew that the home is 40 minutes from La Fortuna, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we are seniors and didn’t plan to go into town for activities. We were all impressed by the sweeping views, lovely landscaping, and peaceful vibe. We didn’t spend a lot of time outside, as the weather was uncharacteristically chilly and rainy. But we enjoyed sitting on the covered balcony and used the hot tub. The infinity pool is nice but is unheated, so too cold for us to use in February. There was plenty of hot water and WiFi worked well. We didn’t realize the 2-queen bedroom is in a separate building just across the driveway- not an issue for us, but might be an issue for some families. W/D worked well and were speedy. Magdi was a great host: proactive, incredibly welcoming and friendly, and very responsive. What a bonus to have Esmeralda, who is delightful, clean daily and do laundry. Thank you, Magdi!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the farm. From the comfortable beds, to the cleanliness, to the beautiful surroundings, clean hot tub, quick and kind responsiveness, fresh eggs, the list goes on. Everything Magdi has done, she has succeeded at to make this place feel like home away from home, making sure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. I had the most wonderful time here and will be back, as well as recommending it to everyone who asks where to go in Costa Rica!

Beautiful grounds. Loved playing with the animals and sitting by the stream. Saw hummingbirds and toucans from the deck. Coffee/tea/sugar was provided by the host with fresh eggs. Would definitely say there again. House was beautiful and clean. Very peaceful as my family dislikes the busy town area. Many grocery stores and restaurants close by and easy to reach. 10 out of a 10. Beds were super comfortable too with extra blankets provided.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in this beautiful La Fortuna property! The 3-bedroom house worked perfectly for our family of four, including older teens of opposite sexes-plenty of space and privacy for everyone. One of our favorite features was the private hot tub tucked into the gardens, which was perfect for warming up and relaxing after long, adventurous days. The pool was also lovely, and we never saw another guest. The pool deck became my go-to spot for morning yoga. The gardens are lush, with a babbling creek that added to the relaxing atmosphere. A special treat was visiting the goats and collecting farm-fresh eggs in the morning — such a fun and unique touch! Max and Magdi were incredibly helpful and responsive. Max assisted us with booking canyoning, white water rafting, hanging bridges, and ziplining. We also loved the nearby dining options: Terraza 86 Restaurante (just 2 minutes away) and Pizzeria Casatica (about a 12-minute drive) were both excellent. Book with Magdi!

It was beautiful and just like the pictures. It was relaxing and we felt like we were in the jungle. Max was very helpful and assisted us in setting up tours before we arrived. We also visited his restaurant which was delicious. Our kids loved walking on the farm, by the creek, and visiting the animals. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely return.

Magdalena’s place is absolutely breathtaking. I will definitely stay again if I have a large group. She is super responsive housekeeping is wonderful and she left us eggs and coffee!! We have never experienced a nicer Airbnb stay any country anytime! Definitely stop by Billy’s Bar if you stay for dinner or book Juan the private chef. Both were incredible!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location was a bit out of town but the property was beautiful and a lovely get away. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions or needs we had!

Really nice home in beautiful surroundings and very nice views. There are shops about 12 minutes drive from the home. The home has everything you need and is very beautifully decorated. Our communication with the host was quick and the response was good, she helped with good local recommendations for trips etc.

This place is exactly as described. Beautiful grounds, private pretty hot jacuzzi, cool pool and private area about ten minutes drive to town. Not very walkable outside of the grounds unless you head out early. We used their eggs every single day and even requested more - huge perk. Felt safe, clean and comfortable for 7 ranging in age from 14 - 79. Costa Rica is damp- the Airbnb was too, the kitchen was super well appointed cooked many meals in there. The on premise river with a bench was fab. Would stay here again
