This villa is a hidden gem! Even better than the pictures. An oasis close to the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa. It sits up in the hills so you definately need a 4x4 but the location offers some cooler air with excellent views! Jairo took excellent care of us during our stay. There is wildlife all around the villa - and the sunsets are one of a kind.

Renter beware. This house is not sealed off to the outside elements of Costa Rica. This should be offered as a glorified Tree House as that is how it is setup. Upon arrival, there were multiple large spiders all over the house, as well as a centipede and a cock roach in one of the beds. The bathroom walls downstairs do not connect to the cieling with approx 1ft opening allowing any animal to come in. The house appeared that it had not been rented in a while, and it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We found trash under the beds, critters & cobwebs everywhere. If you are looking for glamping, this is your place. If you want to feel safe after a long day in the elements, this is not for you. Lastly, as many reviews pointed out, the pictures of the house, property and views are very outdated. The trees are very over-grown, limiting the views which is the best feature of this property. We vacated the property 20 min after check-in.

Thank you for the welcome from Jairo, exceptional and available. The accommodation is cut off from the world, magical. You sleep with the sound of ocean waves and nature. Great memory

This place made me want to move there. Stunning views and house. Haha quite a steep driveway and steps up though, but no problem if you’re able-bodied. Highly recommend

Excellent place if you are looking to relax in the jungle, without getting so far away from the beach. The view of the house is very nice, ideal for seeing the sunset

The house itself was well appointed and matched the photos. Jairo the house manager was very nice and response. Be aware there are ALOT of stairs (60 steps) to get up to the house and it’s up a VERY steep drive. You MUST have a 4x to access. It’s also not really walkable, especially if you’ve had a few cocktails. The view is very pretty and the rooms were very nice.

We loved our stay at Brano's, so much so that we extended it for 3 nights! The view is amazing, and the house is quiet in nature despite the proximity to the city center. We even spotted several monkeys and coatis from the garden! Best house if you want to stay in Santa Teresa!

Great location with incredible views. This house is a little paradise, very private and 5 min away from the beach. Jairo, the local contact as extremely friendly and useful, always ready to help. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay at in Santa Teresa! Jairo was wonderful. Make sure to rent a 4x4 otherwise you will not be able to make it up.
