3BR Villa in San Miguel de Allende

Alejandra

Excellent, 1 month ago

Alejandro’s home is beautiful, and he is such a kind and welcoming host! We truly enjoyed our month-long stay and had a wonderful time. The house is in a quiet and peaceful area, yet very close to the Parroquia, which was so convenient. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host. We would definitely stay here again! 🤍. Thank you!

Host Response

Thank you, Alejandra. You are always welcome.

The house is beautiful!!!!! Great location in downtown San Miguel!!! It has everything you need to spend a few amazing days!!!! Everything works great!!! Communication with Alejandro was always excellent and prompt!!!

Alejandro was excellent, super responsive, provided excellent reccomendations for local places - whatever we needed - he was quick to help. The place is more beautiful that the photos can illustrate. So many gorgeous spots to relax and enjoy. Everything we needed was there and he even provided some basic necessities that we requested prior to arrival. It was a joy to be there. Thank you thank you!

Host Response

Thank you

In hindsight we could have stayed in a hotel as we never used the kitchen or the living room since there was only two of us in the end, but having a washer/dryer was great! We were gone early and back late. Too many great coffee shops, restaurants in town and fun, casual shopping. Alejandro was very responsive. We should have asked for more recommendations on restaurants but managed to find plenty of great ones on our own.

Overall, Alejandro’s place was nice. Front room was noisy and bed pushed up against the wall, which made it hard to get out of bed. Construction one morning by 8:00 am which sounded like pounding above our bedroom. The other master room was perfect. We did not use the 3rd bedroom. No one met us at the home to explain how everything functioned. Alejandro was quick to answer though we couldn’t get the tv to work. In the many times we’ve rented a home, we have always had 1 and up to 2 maids. Alejandro does not include one. Though he did agree to one cleaning and to our surprise included one the last day. Thank you for that, we all appreciated it. The maid showed us how to work the fireplaces, tv and how to open the skylight, which we didn’t even know opened. Thank you Estella for showing us how to work everything. Lydia, David, Marilyn and Gary

In a central location in the heart on city centre close to all the action, Alejandro’s place is very charming and gives you an authentic experience. Three seperate pavilions connected with courtyards resulted in a spacious layout and the three bedrooms (all upstairs) private which is perfect when travelling with a group. The water pressure was fantastic which can be a trade off for these older type places. Very well equipped kitchen and the living room downstairs had the biggest TV and most comfortable sofa to relax on and watch TV (which sometimes is all you want to do after long day out). The bed in master room was very comfortable. In the other rooms the beds were Murphy beds so quiet high and might be an issue if you had mobility issues. My friends who were in those rooms said beds were ok to sleep on. We could not find any info about WiFi on arrival, which was sorted out quickly when contacting Alejandro with a QR code, but you may want to get access to this ahead of coming

Very nice house in a great location. Alejandro responded quickly to all our inquiries. We had to let ourselves in which was ok but after arriving at 12:30 in the morning it would be nice to have someone to show us around the house. The lack of a dining area was a bit unusual. Roof deck was great. It had a view of the cathedral and lots of sun. The plants are everywhere and very beautiful in the 2 inner courtyards and on the roof deck. The housekeeper came once a week and a second visit might be warranted as the leaves from the plants really collect. It would be nice if there was a water delivery service in place one could buy the large bottles from as we had to walk to a local store, buy the bottles, and take a cab back. We loved the labelled light switches as there are LOTS of switches. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay.

Our family loved the space including the courtyards and rooftop terrace which was used throughout the day. Location was terrific - one block off of the main street through town but that one block provided a bit of distance from the street activity as well. We walked everywhere including to the City Market - a grocery store equal to none. We loved the fireplaces in all the rooms to take the chill off of the night. The living space provided many a night of crashing at the end of a long day of enjoying San Miguel. Most enjoyable!!!

This place is amazing! The house was really nice and felt authentic to the area- also the rooms were separate so we had privacy from the other couples we were with. Alejandro was super responsive and helpful, and the location is unmatched. It’s literally right around the corner from the central square- we were in SMA for a wedding and never had to walk more than 5 minutes for every restaurant, bar, and event. Highly recommend staying here if you’re going to SMA- you won’t regret it!

What an incredible hidden gem. From t he moment you walk in, you are immediately transported to a private oasis. The courtyard adorned with plants and a water feature immediately relax you from a long day of driving or walking the streets of San Miguel. The living room couch is heaven and hard to get up from once you sit down. The kitchen is well equipped and a lovely place to hang out and enjoy a coffee in the morning. All the bedrooms were spectacular with their own fireplaces. Each had excellent water pressure. You may want to bring some conditioner if you need, there wasn’t any in our room. There is no air conditioner in the house or rooms. We were able to leave the fans running and the doors open, and we all slept well. Saturday evening there were parties a few houses over. We closed the roof and turned on the pond and it drowned out the noise very well. There is a garage. It’s rather narrow to get your vehicle into. We’re we’re just barely able to squeeze our Porsche Cayenne through the door. But there was a lot of space once we parked it. We would totally stay here again! The whole house was a dream.
