Ok I’m only allowed a 1000 characters here. BEST AIR BNB IVE EVER STAYED IN SO FAR. wish I could give it 7 stars. Super attentive host, very responsive and very helpful made us feel right at home. The place is absolutely wonderful the kitchen and dinning area, the 8 different chill spots to take a drink or a sunset photo or timelapse. BOOK IT …. You won’t regret it, it’s like you’re getting 4 different rooms for the price of one. I’m coming back to visit and I’m definitely staying a day or two more. Mr. P … thank you sir I’ll be seeing you again sometime soon I hope. Never felt sad leaving and air bnb before 🤣

Truly one of the best experiences I have had through Airbnb! Pascal is an incredible host, and his entire team is phenomenal! Pascal coordinated airport pickup for our group even though we were arriving at different times. We felt right at home and so comfortable! The place was a dream, with breathtaking views and such a thoughtfully designed space. You can really tell how much care and attention to detail the host put into everything—from the little touches to the overall experience. The property was clean, comfortable, bugs free, and exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly attentive and clearly takes great pride in making guests feel welcome.

The accommodation is a real spectacle, both for the views from every angle and for the comfort and design of the spaces. Nothing is left to chance, and it has everything you need for a great stay. The area is close enough to Panajachel to access all the amenities, but also far enough away to enjoy the area's tranquility. Pascal's service and the kindness of Daniel and Ricardo, who are always available! I recommend it 100%. In fact, we ended up wishing we had stayed a few more days just to enjoy the Airbnb and its views.

Pascal Is an incredible host and his place is stunningly beautiful. This is different than a typical Airbnb- Pascal puts his heart into your stay and is attentive to all the small details. This is not a good location if you have limited mobility due to the stairs. If you are able, it is 100% worth the stairs as it affords you the most beautiful views and the property is full of gardens and areas of interest. The kitchen/living room space is huge with all sliding glass doors and a balcony and provides you a place that is so fun and relaxing to enjoy the lake. When you arrive, you are greeted by Pascal and/or his staff who assist you with carrying up your luggage. They also brought our luggage down when we checked out. Pascal brings a personal touch and has perfect recommendations. This was the most special place we stayed in Guatemala. Highly recommended!!

Just WOW!!! Waking up with a beautiful view of the lake. Then enjoying family time at the top watching the sunset. So much room where we were able to be separate from family and then able to spend time together in the main family room. The host helped with everything allowing us to enjoy the lake and surrounding towns.

We spent four unforgettable days at Eden Roc and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, Pascal welcomed us with such warmth and grace that we felt less like guests and more like cherished friends invited into a private French villa. The property is extraordinary, filled with beautiful antiques, thoughtful personal touches, and a sense of soul that instantly makes you feel at home. The layout was perfect for our group, with three private units for personal space and stunning shared areas to gather. The gardens are magical, clearly the result of years of passion and care, and we were fortunate to witness the rare blooming of the century agave plants. The views over Lake Atitlán are breathtaking. Massages in the grand salon with Bianca were a luxurious touch that allowed us to fully relax. Eden Roc is more than a place to stay, it is an experience and a sanctuary.

our stay here was amazing. It's very close to Santa Maria and Panajachel to take boats throughout the lake, go shopping, or grab something to eat. The home was amazing and breathtaking that we decided to do very few things on our last day to enjoy the home. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and others. Pascal and his team were great with recommendations and assistance with any questions we had.

I cant say enough about how beautiful this place is. The views and surrounding landscapes fully immerse you into a the best parts of Atitlan. Our host Pascal was top notch and was always pleasant and responsive. This property had multiple levels each with a different character and had unique touches. The top dining area was huge and we had some memorable meals surrounded by views of the lake. An honorable mention was the outside shower which was nice to have your coffee and shower with views of the lake and volcanos! Lots of stairs so be ready for a little workout. Highly recommend!

Pascal’s place was unbelievably beautiful. The views honestly take your breath away. The landscaping shows his love and dedication to creating this beautiful oasis. The outdoor shower was a big hit with our family! We loved enjoying the large gathering space/ kitchen/dining/living room at the top of the compound each evening. So much so that we chose to eat all our dinners here while in town because no restaurant could offer such beauty. Pascal was as amazing as the place that he has created. He truly felt like family. He assisted us with ordering in dinners from local restaurants. He coordinated having a private in-house amazing massage therapist for our family three nights in a row. He even set us up with a private boat guide for the day, as well as an unbelievable, can’t miss, Paragliding adventure. No need to book anything in advance because he makes everything perfect from start to finish. He was always on site and willing to be of assistance. It was difficult leaving paradise ❤️

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had—thanks to Pascual. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home. He’s charismatic, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, helping with everything from transportation and water taxis to arranging private transport back to Guatemala City. His boutique Airbnb is beautifully maintained. Located in Santa Catarina Palopó, just 15 minutes from Panajachel, the setting is peaceful with stunning lake and volcano views. The weather was perfect every day. We loved exploring by water taxi—visiting San Juan, San Marcos, and San Pedro—and jumping off the famous lake trampoline. Don’t miss Kinniki restaurant and shopping in Panajachel. Truly unforgettable—thank you, Pascual for the incredible hospitality.

Few people in this world have been blessed enough to experience a place like Pascals home in Santa Catarina. Pascal and his house maintain the values of what a true Airbnb is... a home. The house is filled with beautiful pictures, furniture and things that make it unique, special and homey. I especially enjoyed the pictures of Pascal and his family. Being trusted in this home was truly an honor for us. There are no words to describe the actual home. It is simply incredible and anything I write beyond that will not do it justice. This is my first time writing a longer review because Pascal truly deserves it. He is an incredibly warm and welcoming host who genuinely cares about his guests. He helped us arrange transportation from the airport/Antigua and even organized tuk-tuk rides so we could fully enjoy Lake Atitlán. One night, our driver didn’t have change and we only had a 100 bill — Pascal showed up like a lifesaver and helped us out immediately. He also helped us arrange meals, which made everything so easy. The house is beautiful and very tasteful (he’s French, and you can tell). I especially loved the silver decor. The place faces the lake, so you wake up to stunning views every morning. The living room is spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the large balcony is perfect for relaxing or enjoying the view. Overall, an amazing stay. Pascal is truly a gem — highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb by Lake Atitlán. The views alone made the trip unforgettable especially at sunset, when the lake glows with beautiful colors. Waking up to the sound of birds and being surrounded by nature made it feel peaceful and truly special. The food recommendations we received were spot on. Every place we tried was delicious and added so much to our experience of the area. We really liked the breakfast place.We also felt very safe the entire time. Ricardo was outstanding . He provided us with so much helpful information and great tips that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. His guidance really elevated our trip. 100/10!! Pascal was amazing!!! He went above and beyond for us. We travelled there as a family with my parents and brothers and he made sure we had the best time. First thing first, the Airbnb villa is beautiful. These separate sections with greenery all around and a view of the volcanoes from everywhere. It was truly magical. Pascal has to be one of the best Airbnb hosts we have ever had. I mean he gave us all kind of recommendations interms of food, activities to do around. He was so easy to communicate. Always around to help us with whatever we needed. He arranged and got us all information for transportation to and from the airport. One of a kind experience and truly all credits to Pascal!!!!!!

Our stay in Cabo Palopo was more than excellent, both Pascal and Ricardo were very attentive and were attentive to us the whole time. The place was impeccable, it smelled good and they were kind enough to recommend activities, restaurants and tourist sites. We were delighted and hope to return soon to spend another vacation in this place!

We had an amazing time at pascals lake view house. Ricardo acted as a concierge and made the trip super easy. He assisted with recommendations, quick history of the lake, and transportation (including private boat, tuk tuk, and taxi). You cannot beat the views here! The sunrise and sunset are incredible! I bought a phone stand and recorded an amazing timelapse video. Can confirm we did NOT have any spiders at all during our stay which was one of the huge factors in selecting this place. As the description says, there are multiple flights of stairs, but you have multiple spots to take a break and enjoy incredible views. Ricardo and his assistant helped with carrying our luggage up/down to check in and out. Keep in mind the common space and rooms are separate. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Many places to sit and unwind. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for a big group, and it seems like Pascal will be expanding his property.

Pascal's place was perfect. One of the best properties I have stayed at. We were a group of four and we booked the listing for his entire property. Everything was incredible, the views were magnificent. The property and rooms extremely well developed with all the amenities. The place is between Panajachel and Santa Catarina and easy to get to both towns. Pascal is an amazing person. Was always there to help and had lots of recommendations. We enjoyed our conversations with him. He made us feel like at home.

We decided to take a spontaneous trip from Antigua. As soon as we got there the Ricardo was waiting for us to help us get in to the home and do a quick tour of the place. There are stairs which lead to the room separate from the living room which was such a unique space. I completely loved how private, quiet, and spacious the whole area was. I had a couple questions on what we can do/places to eat and both Ricardo and Pascal were extremely helpful and responded in a timely manner. We will be back for sure. 10/10 experience!

We really enjoyed staying at Pascal’s place in Santa Catalina Polopo. The house is beautiful with breathtaking views. While Santa Catalina Polopo is not the bustling tourist towns that other lake towns are, we really enjoyed the laid back and relaxing vibe there. If you are looking for an Airbnb around Lake Atitlan then look no further! I cannot emphasize just how lovely our stay at Pascal's house was - in the decade that I have been using Airbnb this is my favorite stay. The house itself is incredible - a gorgeous landscape surrounding beautiful interiors all overlooking a stunning sunset view of the lake. As if that weren't enough Pascal and his employees know seemingly everyone that could be of assistance including private shuttle drivers, restaurant owners, and even your daily tuktuk drivers. He and his employees have lived around the lake for many years and their recommendations shine because of it. When it comes to functionality everything worked perfectly including strong wifi. The property is always being taken care of so if you are ever in need of anything someone will be there to help. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you find this house available and book with the comfort of knowing you will be taken care of.

Incredible place to stay

I loved this place! I think the best way to describe it is "peaceful." The lounge/living room area is absolutely gorgeous and the views spectacular. I got my exercise walking up the steps to the uppermost area (the lounge) and it was worth it. The mattress was the most comfortable one I've ever slept on in Guatemala! I spent most of my time on-site, and had a car to drive to Santa Catarina Palopo and San Antonio Palopo (both only a 10-20 minutes by car). But you can also take a tuk-tuk if you don't have a car. Pascal and his on-site colleague were extremely helpful with suggestions and helped me find a reputable tuk-tuk driver for an evening jaunt to a local restaurant. They were also both very responsive to any questions I asked. I look forward to staying here again!

I have been to some really cool Airbnbs on several continents, but this is the best. I claim that this is the best Airbnb in the world. it's cooler than the pictures. the hospitality is flawless. be advised that the 100 stairs don't have a handrail. one of the umbrellas provided makes a great walking stick.

I stayed for five months, and Palma Roca is something rare. A masterclass in hospitality; lakeside tranquility reimagined through an editorial lens. A decade of Pascal's garden cultivation has created a sanctuary where hummingbirds peer into the salon. My fifty-pound dog spent languid afternoons on the balcony, absorbing the lake's choreography across volcanic peaks. Ricardo reframes the idea of service. Anthropology-trained and intuitively perceptive, he became my safety net: market runs, dog walks during deadline crunches, translation escorts, education on local botanicals. Pascal has conquered what other lakeside properties cannot: keeping Atitlán's infamous spiders at bay. As an arachnophobe, I never once spent a night paranoid. The views are transcendent. Pascal read my preference for privacy immediately, maintaining perfect distance while sensing exactly when I needed support. Thoughtful, intuitive, exquisitely executed. After staying elsewhere, this will be our only Atitlan home

The place was absolutely perfect! We had a group of 4 of us and booked both the big house up above and the apartment below (they’re separated airbnbs). I highly recommend booking both if you have a larger group. The privacy and convenience was perfect for us. Both places had AMAZING views that are better than the photos, beautiful house, everything we needed, but Ricardo, the property manager, really made our stay the best it could be. Ricardo was super responsive and greeted us as we arrived. He helped us with our bags, walked us through the place and even coordinated our tuk tuks and food delivery. He really made our experience extra easy and special. Thank you so much Ricardo! Pascal, thank you for sharing your wonderful place and for being so responsive and proactive on our trip. Pascal's place was beautiful and very unique. Unlike any airbnb i have ever stayed in before. The views were amazing. Waking up every day and having morning coffee with the view of Lake Atitlan really puts you in a great mood. Ricardo was super helpful and check in was super smooth and he gave us a run down of the entire place. It was also very easy to get a tuk tuk into town and back whenever we needed them.

We stayed for over 5 days at Pascal's property and couldn’t have had a better experience. The property offers an amazing view of the lake, and the three rooms are perfect for a group of four. The top room, which I called the lounge, is ideal for enjoying dinner or having coffee while taking in the beautiful lake view. We felt very welcome and were always assisted with everything—from tuk-tuk pickups to restaurant recommendations. Definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Atitlán. Thanks, Pascal!

Place was even better in person than advertised in the photos. Huge living room that I used as my working space over looking the lake. Pascal was very responsive and was very proactive to ensure I knew where the restaurants are and had transportation lined up. The helper, Ricardo, was also very kind and eager to help. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape while being 10-15 minutes from plenty of things to do.

Truly a gem! What a wonderful and beautiful place to stay, even more stunning than the photos when you arrive. We wish we could have stayed for longer. The property is just a short tuk tuk ride from the main area of Pana.

I want to start by saying this was the best Airbnb stay I have ever had. The place was amazing and the pictures as great as they are don't do it justice. The views throughout the home are breathtaking with views of the lake and volcanos. My wife and kids are still talking about the place. It was very peaceful and I was sad to leave. I will forever have fond memories of this place. Ricardo the property manager went above and beyond in every way. He was there to greet us when we got there, took us on a great local hike, and helped wherever and whenever we needed it. Pascal was amazing as well with recommendations and help with rides to and from Antigua as well as setting up a day-long boat excursion on the lake. It was a great stay from beginning to end with hosts that were beyond Super Hosts!

Words can’t fully describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Like all the reviews say, photos can’t do that view justice. From sunrise to sunset, nothing beats relaxing in the living area (which has an insane amount of seating options) and staring at the lake with a warm cup of coffee or a cold beer. The property is insane! Plenty of space, intricate and eclectic decorating, lots of privacy. Not to mention how wonderful and responsive Pascal and Ricardo are! Pascal was so responsive and helped us organize transportation from Antigua. Ricardo stays on the property and is available for anything 24/7. He was incredibly helpful with organizing Tuk tuks, lanchas, and food delivery when needed. An added plus is a couple of sweet and precious pups roaming around, so well behaved and cute! We loved staying at Palma Roca. A very special secluded hideaway. Beautifully decorated with an outstanding view of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding volcanoes. The house manager Ricardo is so helpful and responsive. They were especially helpful arranging easy transport in and out of town via tuk tuk and boat tours to surrounding lake towns.

Our stay was entirely wonderful - the views were incredible, Ricardo was so friendly and had great recs for restaurants and things to do around the lake. There are so many great little nooks around this property to watch the sunset/appreciate the lake, all in all a great place to relax and was such a great way to introduce my family to Guatemala. The hosts were also super helpful in hailing rides into Panajachel!

Unique hillside cabin unlike any place we’ve ever been to. We adored the home and pascals service was incredible. Never experienced service like his from an Airbnb host before. Highly recommend! The view also can’t be beat.

Pascal was an excellent host from start to finish. He gave clear directions with helpful photos for arrival and greeted us at the door. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the lake and mountains. The large living/dining area was great for watching the sunset, playing games and watching movies. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and the fireplace was a lovely touch in the chilly morning. Pascal and Ricardo, the manager, were available and responsive throughout the stay. We felt safe and well cared for the entire time. The cute town of Santa Catarina was a quick walk down the road and the drive into Panajachel is just a few minutes.

My experience at this Airbnb was amazing. The place was spotless, very well equipped, and met everything described in the listing. Amazing, wonderful, beautiful everything. it's a first level accommodation. it was beautiful everything in the house. from the views, the décor, the design and the great welcome and kindness of Pascal and his work group. the photos are cute but the reality is that it's better. it's a place full of affection and it feels the good vibe of the place. we only had one night but it was magical. I thank the host very much for allowing our stay in their home. they gave us everything we needed to enjoy the lake and its villages. unbeatable! if God allows us to come back🙏!!!!

This really was on of best airbnb’s we have ever stayed! Pascal has thought of everything! Do not hesitate booking this place! We actually didn’t leave the place as we enjoyed it so much. Ricardo was incredible and he helped us with our bags, helped us do our laundry and even picked us up some eggs! Pascal helped us arrange transport for the airport and shared local recommendations. The house has so many places for you to sit and enjoy the view, the layout is perfect to sit back relax and switch off! The bed is super large and so comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked with good quality glass wear to enjoy a glass of wine! The rainwater shower is perfect especially as you can shower with a view! There are many surprises in this place which are well worth booking to check out! We really cannot recommend this airbnb highly enough! Thanks Pascal and Ricardo for making this stay possible and so enjoyable!

Amazing, I chose this place for its lake view and loved it! The place is very beautiful, clean and tidy. I would definitely stay again in the near future. The views of the lake from every point of the place is amazing, full visibility, nothing obstructs the view (except for the clouds). Both Pascal and Ricardo were on the lookout and were extremely friendly with us. Thank you for letting them host in their home!

Phenomenal views of the lake from a rustic cabin tucked into a cliffside property with a lush garden and massive salon at the top of the property that would be amazing for hosting events. Host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Would strongly recommend to small groups and couples seeking a getaway.

Paul’s place was even better than the pictures. The views of the lake and volcanoes were breathtaking. The Airbnb was very clean and very well designed. Paul was very responsive and provided detailed instructions on how to find the property. I’d highly recommend staying at this property.

We spent some very very relaxing and happy days. Pascal managed the taxi that picked us up from the airport (Danilo), an endearing being. On arrival, Ricardo was waiting for us to help us raise our groceries and our bags. She was attentive at all times about our stay and helped my wife find a cake for my birthday. Everything was perfect. You can highlight the views it has, they are spectacular. Thank you for everything

He was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay with smooth communication, and helped us make the most of our stay by providing helpful recommendations. The airbnb is stunning, with unbelievable views of the lake. We saw one of the most beautiful sunsets of our life from our room. The room was very clean and well equipped, we loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone going to Lake Atitlan.
