The only thing that we had trouble with was the hot water. It didn’t really come on on Monday. We left it running for 30 minutes trying to get it to warm up in the master bath and it never did. It did work a few days ago although it took like 15 minutes to warm up.

Our second time staying at Casa Robelina. Cecilia made us feel right at home and the space was perfect for our family. It is walkable to markets, squares, dining, and parks. The home is comfortable with so many spaces to rest, enjoy, and take in the beauty of San Miguel.

Great location, as it's tucked away a bit in a corner. The place is within short walking distance to many great tourist sites, restaurants, bars, but is private enough where it feels secluded. The home was spacious and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were also clean and well sized. Cecilia was a great communicator and answered all of our questions promptly and helpfully. I would highly recommend staying at her home.

I should look back- we didn’t need the 4th bedroom but I’m not sure I knew it was upstairs. There’s no privacy door for that bathroom. But the 3 downstairs bedrooms were wonderful- spacious. The master bedroom could use more light. I guess I’ll speed up my cataract surgery. The house was kept very neat and tidy by the wonderful housekeeper. We loved the location. Everything we needed was steps away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is perfectly located, close to the most charming part of the city. We especially liked the roof terrace, which has excellent views and enough seating for a big group. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped. Cecilia is very organized and responsive.

This was our 3rd visit to San Miguel de Allende this year, and by far, the most fun. Casa Roblina was, by a far stretch, the best accomodation we have experienced in SMA. Centrally located and easily found, we were 3-5 blocks from most of our planned destinations over the long weekend. And with shops and restaurants literally steps from our front door we made the most of our precious vacation time. Celecia was responsive to every question or request, and Chelis made us feel as if we were old friends. The house is spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Casa Roblina for your family, or a group of friends while visiting SMA.

Perfect location for exploring San Miguel de Allende. Steps away from everything. We were five people and found the bedroom and bathroom setup perfect to give everyone space and privacy. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, a kitchen well equipped for cooking meals at home, and tons of charm within the house and extending out to the rooftop patios. You will be able to hear live music in the house until about midnight on some evenings. Highly recommend!

Casa Robelina did not disappoint, from the rooftop views in the early morning to the A/C in bedrooms at night, It was cozy. Very relaxing and in walking distance in any direction. We were impressed with the layout of the house and the privacy each bedroom. Don't skip on this gem in SMA!

I have been traveling to San Miguel de Allende for many years. This was the best location ever. Cecilia was very easy to work with and was responsive from start to finish. The bedrooms offer privacy for all, and the beds were super comfy. Lovely rooftop with great views. Very nice house, highly recommend.

We absolutely loved Cecilia’s house. It was much bigger than we expected and had plenty of space to spread out. The courtyard patio with the fountain and the rooftop terrace were an extra treat. The garage and big kitchen were huge pluses too. The location was unbeatable!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our group! The location couldn't be beat - we were right in the heart of San Miguel and within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Being able to walk everywhere saved us so much on transportation costs and made exploring the city a breeze. Beyond the location, the house itself was very spacious. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to spread out and not feel cramped. Cecilia was always responsive and accommodating.

Great location and beautiful house. We esp enjoyed the back patio and rooftop deck to sit and enjoy the weather and view. the beds were comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast at Amapola across the street and the coffee shop down the block were convenient. We were 5 minutes from the Rosewood and up the street to the main plaza and restaurants.

Had a lovely Holiday stay at Casa Robelina! It is super well located, most of everything in town is within a max 15min range (5-10min on average, with the big supermarket City Market being the furthest destination at a 20min walk). The staff that cleaned the house were super nice and courteous, our bed linens and towels were fresh and clean. The house is quite spacious and the rooftop is an amazing spot to hangout. We had our own secluded NYE fireworks viewpoint from there. Cecilia was super helpful with recommendations and accommodations throughout our stay, would definitely love to return!

The check-in was excellent with Cecilia meeting us when we arrived. She spent the time to provide us with all the information we needed on our rental. She even drove us to the market so we could get all necessary supplies. We had trouble trying to figure out how the oven worked. Cecilia almost immediately and the problem was resolved. The unit was as shown in the photos. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. Was easy to prepare breakfast for all seven of us. Cecilia even had a cleaner come in, she is well worth it. Talk about location, location, location, we were no further than 10 minutes from the centre. You want to go somewhere just walk outside the unit and you will catch a cab within 5 minutes and they are very reasonable. Could not think of any significant negatives. For us Cecilia was the best host we have ever had.

Excellent location with plenty of room and comfort for our family of 6. We asked to have some groceries delivered for our very late check in and Cecilia took care of everything. Ir felt like we were coming right into our own home. Everything you need to see is walking distance, with endless options for restaurants, coffee, shopping and sightseeing!

Casa Robelina surpassed our expectations. We used all the rooms and everything worked out perfectly fine. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you needed and they had the best set of pans I have ever used in an Airbnb. Everything that’s important in San Miguel is nearby. We were walking distance from the shops and the main square, lots of restaurants nearby. Cecilia was a great host and would love to stay at her place again

Cecilia's home is a great option in San Miguel. Its g considerable space, sunny patios, and unbeatable location. Cecelia herself is warm, responsive and helpful, evening helping us stock the fridge before we arrived so our kids had something to eat when we arrived late. As for the house itself, there are lots of pros and a few things for people to know. Pros: It's extremely convenient: a 5-10 minute walk to the main square and right in the heart of the old town. It's got a great view of the Parroquia (main pink church) from the roof. The rooms are spacious. Other notes: The house could use some updates: the shower head in our bedroom was broken, for example, leaks considerably and lightbulbs were burnt out. More significantly, the fourth bedroom is detached from the main house, up steep stairs and in a strange spot. So it basically rendered that bedroom moot for a family needing it. All in all, though, very happy and really like Cecilia. Would recommend!

This is a lovely house well located with very good restaurants within a block. The location is perfect since it is close enough to everything but still afforded a quiet oasis. The house is bright and cheery with lots of space for gathering. the kitchen is large and well equipped. Cecilia offered to stock any snacks we might like and had coffee all set for us. The cleaning staff was a plus and kept everything in perfect shape. We would definitely stay on our next visit to San Miguel.

We were there for a ladies trip and this place was absolutely perfect. It was so spread out - there were 6 of us and everyone had their privacy. Location was excellent. And Cecilia is very helpful and friendly. Helped make our first trip to SMA a wonderful experience.

Casa Robelina is a true Gem: beautiful, comfortable, clean, well appointed and in a fantastic location, yet quiet and peaceful. Cecilia is a gracious host, communicating clearly and proactively, responding promptly to messages and thinking ahead of what we may want to know and want. She even asked if we needed supplies so everything on our list was at the house when we arrived! The garage fits only a small sedan but there is a public parking garage just around the corner where for $600 pesos per day you can come in and out all day (they close at night). We had luck parking on the surrounding streets every day but on Saturday, when downtown was busy. A huge plus: my family could just relax and be together and that would have been different had we stayed in an hotel. We of course tidied after ourselves before departing but there were no instructions to strip beds and do a lot of cleaning or laundry before we left as in other air B&B places. Love, love, love.

Casa Robelina is a great place to stay during your visit in San Miguel de Allende, great location, walkable to most of San Miguel's Highlights, just 3 blocks from main plaza and cathedral. The Space is very nice and the roof top was great for new year's fire works. We where a group of 8 and had a very pleasant stay, confortable and relaxed. We recommend it very much.

Cecilia is a great hostess, clear communication and very responsive from beginning to end. The location in center city is ideal for walking and exploring all sights of town and the quiet neighborhoods. The property is well appointed with a traditional courtyard layout and great terraces, it was perfect for our group of six. We appreciated the cleaning staff coming in a few times during our stay to tidy up.

Location, Location, Location! Seldom required taxi service, all within walking distance of the Plaza and fine restaurants. Home is lovely, great beds, well equipped. Hostess and staff very accommodating. Rained most of the time we were there, however it didn't stop us from enjoying lovely San Miguel. Unfortunately because of the weather we were unable to make use of the lovely rooftop decks with views. Highly recommend this place, very flexible as far as use for family or couples. Great location, pretty place, enough space

Casa Robelina is the right place to stay at San Miguel de Allende. It is an enchanting home at a walkable distance of San Miguel’s iconic sites. Since the beginning, Cecilia showed a warm and welcoming approach. She answered all my questions and gave great suggestions. As an Airbnb owner, I had great expectations and Casa Robelina is the perfect place to stay in San Miguel.

Casa Robelina suited our family perfectly! It was spacious, with welcoming common areas. The windows and doors that opened to the center atrium were great to help circulate air. It was a nice perk to have AC in one of the bedrooms to accommodate our older family members. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to make small meals - and to reheat the delicious food we ate in SMA! Cecilia offered a grocery service that was helpful - so that we had snacks and drinks awaiting us when we arrived. Great stay and a great host!

Fantastic place. Perfect location.

Our stay in Casa Robelina was wonderful! The house is conveniently located in relationship to the main plaza, restaurants, and shops. In spite of the great location, street noise is never a problem. The home allows for coming together as a group (7 of us) or spending quiet time apart within the house or outside on the patio or up on the terrace. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. One extra perk was interacting with The person who arrived every other day to clean. She was an absolute delight and accommodating of us.

Casa Rubalina is lovely! Located in the heart of San Miguel a few minutes from all the city's attractions. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. Cecilia is very kind, always aware of the comfort and needs of her visitors .

In town for the first time because of a destination wedding. What an amazing experience, made better by the awesome house! It was perfect and made the trip for our 88 year old grandmother much easier. We highly recommend the location.

Great location and great terrace. We were able to enjoy this home for over a month. We had a couple of issues regarding maintenance of a couple of key items but Cecilia took care of it right away. I would definitely stay there again.

Just like the Airbnb photos, only bigger and better. Fantastic location in central San Miguel, 3-block walk to the central plaza. Clean, comfortable accommodations with maid service almost every other day. We were happy.

Casa Robelina is all that it is portrayed in the listing and all as reviewed by the many visitors to the home. Cecilia is a great host and super responsive to questions even beyond just enjoying her home. Casa Robelina is in the perfect location for our purposes. You're only five minutes to the plaza and three minutes to the main street below the home where you can shop for whatever you need. The residence is perfect for at least 8 people if needed. The primary bedroom is great as is the second bedroom. You have a third bedroom with three singles and a single bed upstairs. The person who comes by to clean is fantastic as well. We splurged and had someone every day (but Sunday). Cecilia referred that person as well. It was unseasonably warm during or visit so we did not use the terrace as much as we had hoped but it is a treasure. Cecilia provides fans for rooms without air conditioning but the primary bedroom has an air unit. You cannot go wrong at this home. A few tips from our trip. Visit Quince restaurant near the main plaza. It is a great place with great staff. They even have a tightrope walker. Seriously. The Rosewood for drinks at Sunset or Sunday brunch cannot be beat (we did both). Cumpanio for breakfast also hit the spot. You just can;t go wrong with this location and San Miguel, in general, is a perfect city.

This house was fabulous. Very clean, perfect location, and beautiful view from the HUGE rooftop terrace. Cecilia was extremally helpful and very quick to respond. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting San Miguel!

We loved Casa Robelina! It is beautiful, spacious, and fulfilled all of our needs! The location is excellent, with historic sites, cafes and shops in every direction. This historic property has been updated but retains antique charm and coziness. Because the house itself is so gorgeous and relaxing, the town noise was not too much of an issue. However, guests should be aware that being in the center of a major tourist attraction means a lot of traffic, ambience noise from cafes, as well as the ever present cathedral bells, which ring incessantly beginning at 6:30am. I personally love hand pulled bronze bells, but if you need to sleep in, just be aware. Loved it and are so appreciative of the excellent hospitality Cecilia and her team provided.

What a fantastic stay in San Miguel de Allende! Casa Robelina was wonderful. Centrally located, everything was in walking distance. Leisurely coffee on the patio in the morning was secondary to drinks on the terrace at sunset with views of the Cathedral. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. This would be a perfect place for a larger family. The host, Cecilia, was very kind and accommodating.

An absolutely wonderful stay. I recommend this beautiful house to my friends and family. It is a few hundred meters away from me and my wife’s favorite coffee place. I am looking forward to another stay at this perfectly located home.

Very good location, space and attention

We can’t say enough about the ideal location of Casa Robelina—spacious, bright, walkable to everywhere in the centro, a rooftop patio view that is spectacular and sunny. We’ll never forget views of the the sunsets and also the fireworks over the parroquia. The layout of Casa Robelina with all rooms coming off a lovely center patio with fountain made for plenty of privacy and space for all of our family and friends staying in the house. Casa Robelina is the perfect vacation home and place of refuge to come home to after walking and touring each day. A step from the wonderful historic street into the peaceful sanctuary of Casa Robelina is to be treasured, as is the reverse, opening the front door and finding the beautiful centro histórico waiting and inviting.

Cecilia’s home was delightful, fairly quiet for San Miguel, clean and a great location to go out in many directions. The street (Hernandez Macias) was very clean and sidewalks in good condition. Loved the many patio levels and to be able to see the hot air balloons each morning from the roof top.

Casa Robelina was ideal for a week-long get-away for three couples on our first trip to San Miguel. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its amazing views almost every evening during our visit. Rooms are clean & spacious and the courtyard with fountain is lovely. Cecilia was an excellent host -- she had a cleaning service every other day, provided 5-gallon water containers with dispenser, and even arranged for a service to deliver our grocery list prior to our arrival. It was simple to communicate with Cecilia via WhatsApp, and she graciously provided us with suggestions on how to arrange tours when asked. Casa Robelina is located conveniently close to the Centro with many restaurants within easy walking distance (tip: try Tostavere for a great meal in a small restaurant, and the Rosewood Hotel rooftop for a tapas with a great view). We highly recommend it for a trip to San Miguel. Suggestion: you will hear the church bells, so bring ear plugs and run the fans provided by Cecilia.

Everything was excellent

The house has a privileged location, you quickly get to the center and has parking for one car, that is a plus, it is extremely clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and the comfortable beds, the fountain is super relaxing, it has a very nice terrace and the attention is unparalleled!

A very well located house, 2 excellent rooms and one good one. Ceci is always attentive and easy to communicate with. Both the house and Ceci are a guarantee of trust. A house that does not disappoint and helps you make your experience in San Miguel unbeatable.

After a fantastic long weekend in one of the most magical cities I've ever visited, we'd all recommend Cecilia's place. First and most importantly, is the location. It's ideally located between the historic center and the Rosewood/Parque Benito Juarez, and on a street with myriad options for food, drinks, coffee, shopping and more. Next would be the physical space. Flexible options for sleeping a variety of people, a private and quiet courtyard and stunning rooftop space with incredible sunset views and views of the church and city. Despite being in the very center of the city, we were surprised by how quiet and peaceful the house was. And finally, Cecilia - great, prompt communication, ensuring everything would be ready and perfect for our arrival, sharing clear information and making everything easy. Only thing to note when planning your trip would be the garage - as other commenters have mentioned the garage doesn't necessarily fit larger cars (limited to about 190 inches long). Pensión de Autos Jesús is 500 pesos for 24 hours (park and lock) and the public parking next to the excellent Mercado Carmen (everything we ate and drank here was amazing) on Pila Seca is 350 for 24 hours (but you leave your keys). Otherwise the house is well stocked and well appointed home base for exploring this incredible city.
