This was our first time staying at Sonoran Star and it was great! The condo was huge and the resort had so many different pools to choose from, including the lazy river and pool bar, both of which we enjoyed fully. Considering the size of the condo we rented (3-bedrooms) we really feel that we got a great deal on it. The beds were very comfortable, the living room couch was huge, and there was an air mattress provided that we utilized as well. We had a great time and Andrew was awesome and always responded quickly to our messages. We will definitely consider staying there again next time we head down to Puerto Penasco!

Great place to stay!

This was our first time staying at Sonoran Star and it did not disappoint! The resort itself is great and has the most incredible pools and lazy river, and it is super easy to get down to the beach. The unit was beautiful and spacious with an amazing view of the pools and beach. We spent time outside on the patio playing games as a family and loved being able to go for swims as often as we wanted. Would absolutely stay here again!

Andrew’s place exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort and views are absolutely stunning. The beach is clean and safe. The staff is welcoming and always accommodating. The pools are incredible and several of them are heated year round. The furnishings and appliances are top of the line and lovely. 3 balconies with unbelievable views, comfortable beds, excellent A/C and a well stocked kitchen made the stay everything we had hoped for. Loved every minute of it. 10/10 recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved this condo at Sonora star. we had a magnificent time. even after unforseen changes in plans Andrew worked with me to make my dream vacation possible. This is definitely worth the stay. I 💯 recommend to book for a stay.

BREATHTAKING! As soon as you walk in the door the view is absolutely stunning. After you come back to reality and walk through the unit you come to realize the photos do not justice to this home away from home. I will 10000% be back soon! Not one thing was I’m wrong in the home so I did not need to communicate at all with the host, however days leading up to the check in day I received multiple messages hyping up the vacation! We were beyond impressed with everything! Thank you so much Andrew and family for opening the sorts of your beautiful home for room for my family!

From the start the location was amazing, surrounded with a lot of local shops. Check in and very staff there were amazing and friendly. The restaurant in the resort overall Soo delicious. Andrew give us recommendations on very good restaurants near by. Honestly overall it was a great place, great amenities, very clean and home

The apartment is impeccable, all areas are spacious, the kitchen is large, the bedrooms have plenty of space, the view is spectacular, and Andrew is available for anything you might need. It was the first time our daughters and nieces had gone, and we wanted a place with heated pools and a Jacuzzi, without too much partying or excessive music, and that's exactly what we got. The condo staff are very helpful. They have Sky, which is awesome. I would definitely stay at Andrew's condo again.

Great stay overall. The place was exactly as described, brand new, very spacious, and had an incredible view. It was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for comfort. The location was convenient and made getting around easy. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish, which made the entire experience stress-free. Check-in and check-out were simple and seamless. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and comfortable Airbnb.

Great gem in Rocky Point!! My family and I go to Rocky Point often and this by far was our favorite home. Host is very responsive, helpful, and communicative. We highly recommend this place for your next stay in Rocky Point.

What a gorgeous condo. We were floored the moment we walked in the door and saw the view! Beautifully decorated and very clean. The resort is wonderful as well. We would definitely like to stay again!

The only thing about this place is that it’s BETTER in person. Andrew’s place is absolutely stunning! Took my family’s breath away the moment we walked in. Much larger and grand in person as well. Resort has amazing staff with 24/7 security which made my family feel very safe. Although we were there in the middle of winter, we still had the chance to enjoy the amenities like the pool! The pool is heated with bar side service. Andrew was responsive and kind. We plan to book again!

The stay was amazing! Beautiful condo, clean, and right on the beach with stunning views. Amenities and restaurant at the resort are excellent! The host provided instructions that were very easy to follow, making check-in and everything super smooth.

Beautiful new condo.

Andrew was a wonderful and very professional host. Check-in is set for 4:00 pm, and when I asked about the possibility of arriving a bit earlier, he was clear that it depended on the cleaning schedule and wasn’t something he could guarantee. After our long travel day, he kindly kept me updated and let us know as soon as the place was ready, which we truly appreciated. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The unit was beautiful, very clean, and exactly as described. Everything inside the space was great. There was a small inconvenience with the hotel staff, which was outside of Andrew’s control. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is absolutely stunning. The views are amazing. The best unobstructed sunsets in town!! We spent Christmas here with our adult son and his wife and our two college aged sons. There was plenty of space for everyone. The condo was very spacious and immaculate. The beds were very comfortable and there was a real coffee pot! We got coffee beans in town from the coffee point where they roast the beans there. We enjoyed our fresh coffee and the views from the balcony every morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools are great but bring your own beach towels. The resort does not have any. This resort is brand new and still under construction but it did not hamper our stay at all. We would definitely return.

Our family comes to Rocky point frequently!!! This year we came for a family Christmas vacation. This resort is absolutely beautiful!!! We only stay at the resorts on Sandy Beach. The Las Conchas side has not impressed us when we stayed there! This is now our favorite! The Sonoran Star is the best by far!! The condo, furnishing, restaurant, pool side bar are all amazing and great prices. The pools are pristine!! The beach access is gorgeous, not private but clean and quiet! They are still building the other wings yet they are cognizant of not starting early or ending late! The Host was perfect to work with! We will definitely be back to This Condo!

Andrew was super quick to respond and was easy to work with. The home was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The staff was easy to communicate with and they all spoke English. The grounds, pool and views were spectacular. Loved the heated pools and jacuzzi. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Andrew.

The photos truly don’t capture how amazing this property is. It exceeded every expectation — spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. We had an incredible time celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This condo was the nicest place we have stayed at in Rocky Point! Everything was brand new, having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was beyond nice for the kids, and we had a perfect view of the ocean! The pools at this resort were really incredible- from a calm oversized pool overlooking the ocean, to a lazy river we spent hours in- you will be impressed! We will be back to this condo for sure!

We’re can I start on this review. My first time in puerto peñasco and I can say I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. This condo was perfect. The view was amazing. Easy Beach access was my favorite. I love how fast check in was. Everyone very friendly. Perfect for relaxation and also for activities at the beach. Did a few of them and enjoyed them. I would totally recommend and see myself booking this condo in the future if available :)
