4BR Condo in Sayulita

Excellent, 4 months ago

Great space for a group! We were in town for a wedding at the Four Seasons….these rooms are 10x nicer with a pool and a golf cart to easily reach other resorts. Cannot wait to come back

Michelle's place at Hacienda de Mita was fabulous. The condo was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed eating dinner each night on the outside patio at sunset. The concierge staff, headed by Alan, took care of all of our needs such as arranging fur us to have an extra golf cart, coordinating a shuttle to and from the airport, scheduling zip lining for us, and many other services. Alan and his team also arranged for Chef Jonni and his staff to come and make dinner for us many of the nights during our stay. And our college-aged kids loved having unlimited access to the beach clubs. Golf cart life is awesome! From now on, we will choose to stay in Punta Mita over Puerto Vallarta every time!!

The condo is amazing as well as the area. Top notch. Beautiful views. Great concierge.

Thank you Jason. You are welcomed back anytime!

This is our second visit "inside the gates" at Punta Mita and Michele's place was great for a multi-generational trip. The condo is spacious and has classic, very comfortable furnishings. It is conveniently located (walking distance) to town, unlike many units in Punta Mita. The view from the primary bedroom / main living area are incredible! And having access to all the beach clubs was a major plus (there's even a well-run kids club at Kupuri) The home came with a wonderful housekeeper (Betty) who in addition to tidying up also cooked us breakfasts and the occasional lunch -- she's a wonderful cook! The concierge was helpful before and during the trip in making reservations. And the host was very kind when the kids accidentally broke a small item. One thing to know: the concierge's services (eg dinner private chef, car pick up) require cash payment, so one needs to have exact change in pesos / USD. Ensure you know the exact amounts / exchange rates to avoid mix ups.

Hi Dominique - no worries, accident's happen! Hope to have you back some time.

Michele was great at communicating before we arrived and suggested some great restaurants. The place is spectacular and we look forward to going back.

Michelle was such a gracious host. Everything was impeccable and she responded to messages very quickly. Our family of 5 absolutely LOVED her Airbnb! We have traveled to many places all over the world and this was our very favorite to spend time with our adult kids! It was all so easy AND gorgeous. There was so much to experience (or not)with the many beach clubs, hotels, restaurants within and outside the gates, and the pool right outside your place to further our enjoyment. The golf cart made getting around very fun! We named it Gustavo for the week! Lol Betty was spectacular. I can not say enough about her! We enjoyed her food so much that we asked her for the recipes. Lol She was kind, fun, respectful and even willing to grill fish we had just caught for lunch on Saturday. Everything was immaculate. We will definitely be coming back whether it’s with our immediate family like this trip, or with friends or other family. If I had to make a suggestion it would be To bring more cash especially if fishing or snorkeling. Overall such an amazing stay in Punta de Mita. Thank you for everything! Kudos to Michele for designing such a stress free ultimately gorgeous space and vacation! Dawn, NJ

We had a great time staying in this condo. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. and the decor was tastefully done. The best part is the wonderful staff helping us by cooking meals, grocery shopping, cleaning, making reservations, arranging covid testing to get back into the States, arranging transportation and more. We were in good hands and we had a terrific time.

Thank you Andy - you are welcomed back anytime!

This home is great, amazing hospitality. Absolutely horrible rules and some of the security guards working on the grounds are the worst people on earth.

Host Response

Hello Elliot, I'm disappointed with your review. The security guards are just doing their job and if you wouldn't have broken the rules, you might have had a different opinion about them. I agree the pool should be open longer, but 2am is a bit much. Those are the HOA rules, not mine and we as owners even have to abide by them.

The property is excellent, we were very happy

Michele’s home is as pictured: spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. The building pool was rarely used by anyone, except our son who took a morning dip every day. The property is adjacent to the quaint town and the entire resort is extraordinarily secured - you can’t enter or leave without going through a locked gate. The golf cart was a tremendous asset as we spent our days at Kupuri Beach Club - about a mile and a half away. We visited January 12-18, and while we paid “high-season” prices, the place was empty. The locals told us January is quiet so we never needed a reservation to eat out, or any other activity. The concierge company (outside of Michele’s control) are snobs and expect you to have no problem paying $120 for a 15 min ride to Sayulita, or even $80 for a 2 mile trip to Litibu. Taxis are 1/3 of that. They also provide gallons, as in 30 gallons of water, even though the water is filtered, but don’t tell you they’re going to do so, until you ask about the fees. They are accustomed to very wealthy travelers who don’t care about costs. While this is certainly a lovely resort and clearly we could afford the $10k weekly stay, I didn’t appreciate the snobbery and won’t return. There are so many beautiful places in the world where my money is welcome!

Better than the pictures! Beautiful stay, and relaxing even with two little ones in tow. Michele is easy to communicate with, she responds lightening fast. Concierge, was phenomenal! Pedro coordinated our restaurant reservations, transportation to sayulita, and booked us lovely babysitters. Concierge responded very quickly, and Pedro checked on us regularly without being overbearing. We checked in later than expected due to a flight delay. Once we landed we had to wait an hour and a half to get through immigration and customs. PVR was CRAZY (try to avoid arriving on a Saturday) However, our driver waited for us patiently. Concierge set up our transportation, they were able to provide a car seat and booster seat. I found the transportation to be a bit expensive, but in general Punta Mita is not cheap. The drive was not bad at all! Maybe 35 minutes. Concierge grocery shopped for us, the convenience was worth the cost since we had the little ones with us. The kitchen was fully stocked at check in. Upon our arrival we had fresh ceviche waiting for us. Probably the best ceviche I had ever had! Unfortunately we never got to meet Betty. We were given a different maid/cook. But my goodness, she was amazing! She was always doing something, I never saw her take a break not even for a second! She was constantly cleaning, mopping, washing dishes, cooking, and doing laundry. The entire place was kept absolutely spotless! She arrived promptly at 9am and began making breakfast immediately. I let my husband make the meal requests for the week. Which I won’t let him do that again! Too much food! I felt bad making her cook such big meals, although she wasn’t bothered by it at all. The ceviche, aguachile, and breakfast burritos were our favorites. The golf cart was not the prettiest, but it was very reliable and the seatbelts are a must for the kiddos. We drove it all around the complex, and took it into town one evening. No issues there. Although most of the restaurants in town are reachable by a quick walk. We tried the Hacienda de mita beach club, Kupuri, and Pacifico. HDM is basic, but it’s nice as it’s right on property. Kupuri has all the amenities, and was very hip. I felt the food at Kupuri was better than Pacifico, but Pacifico was by far our favorite! The service was outstanding, and I liked the beach better. Concierge set us up with a couple of babysitters for one evening, while we had dinner. I was VERY nervous, and hesitant to leave my small children alone with strangers in a foreign country. They were great though! My 3 year old, who gets anxious when we leave the room for a minute, didn’t cry at all when we left. The nannies brought a back pack full of toys to entertain them. I’m pretty sure my 7 month old was held and loved on for the 2-3 hours we were gone. I was so comfortable with them, we booked them for a couple hours the following day, for a beach date. They were doing a little bit of maintenance on the building. It was a little loud on one of the days, but wasn’t too bothersome for the rest of our stay. One of the maintenance workers let my 3 year old “help” paint, which was very sweet. They didn’t start till about 10 or 11am, so it never woke us up. There was no jack hammering or anything of that nature. The construction should be done by early November. Michele was very quick to respond and apologize. Upon check out, our maid realized we left a couple items behind. She immediately contacted our driver. The driver turned around, and ran up to the villa to retrieve the items. That’s great service! This has been our favorite Airbnb experience ever! 5 stars all the way! The area felt very safe. I originally booked the four seasons, and was hesitant about canceling 4S for 703. So glad I made the switch, I’m already trying to plan my next trip back!

Host Response

Hello Samantha, thank you for the wonderful review. I'm sorry about the golf cart. The previous occupants damaged it a bit and we didn't have time to repair it prior to your visit. I had forgotten that Betty wasn't going to be there. She originally had scheduled a trip during the time that we were going to be down, and my husband requested if she could change her dates. I guess during your stay were those dates. I hope you can come back some time to meet her. She is wonderful as well. I'm glad you enjoyed Punta Mita!

Another great stay. We will be back soon. Betty really makes this beautiful space extra special.

We spent six days in the apartment and all our family had a great time. From the concierge services to the cook, we had all of our need taken care of. The Premium Golf access provided by the host was also amazing! We went to visit all the Beach Clubs and had a great time with the family. The apartment truly is in the state as seen in the photos! We loved it so much, we are hoping we can plan future vacations to Punta Mita staying in this apartment!

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed staying at this place. Michelle's condo is ideally located near the beach where our teenagers can walk out and surf all day long. We also loved walking into the town through the side gate and get our morning coffees from El Cafecito next to Si Sushi. The place was perfect for both relaxation and fun activities for our family. We will definitely want to return.

Host Response

Hello Esther, thank you for your feedback. Our full-time housekeeper Beatriz is currently on maternity leave and Yolanda is her fill-in until she gets back. I'm not sure what her arrangements were, but she should have been able to accommodate you with your breakfast and lunch times. I am going to let our management company know this. Thank you.

Michele’s place was gorgeous! She was very easy to communicate with prior to our stay. I’m sure she would have been easy to reach during our stay had we needed her, however everything was as promised. The concierge service took care of our needs while in Punta Mita. Beatriz, the housekeeper/cook was so great with our baby and her food was delicious! We will definitely return.

Punta Mita is the BEST family vacation and our favorite spot in Mexico. This was our second time at HDM 703 and it was just as amazing as the first time. Everything is on point - the villa, Betty the cook/housekeeper, the grounds, the amenities, the privacy, the luxury, really every single thing! Thank you!

Amazing stay in paradise. The condo was perfect for our young kids. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We are already planning our return. And having Beatriz to cook and clean for us was absolutely wonderful. I also appreciated that the golf cart had seat belts for my kiddos.
