We had a great time at Eduardo's place, despite some initial bumps in the road. We did not get any instructions on how to check-in or find the place. Turns out that Google Maps is wrong. You simply have to keep an eye out for the street number (which follow no logical order), and the sign "Casa Icaco" on the outside fence. There is no check-in procedure, except that Maura or Jose (the BEST actual hosts who live on the property) meet you and show you around. But you better know how to speak Spanish well. And unfortunately, because of poor timing, Eduardo was not available for the entire day of checkin. Despite this, we had a wonderful time. Expect to drive to restaurants, etc. However, Maura is a great cook and a lovely host, and if you ask nicely, she can make a killer breakfast and even lunch. I would love to come back.

An excellent location, and the best company with Maura and Don José.

We went to spend a family weekend, we wanted to be quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed the ICACO house, it's very nice. It also has two lots, one next to the estuary and the other next to the sea. On Saturday afternoon we went to see the sunset at the sea and we enjoyed it for a couple of hours. It's an experience we want to repeat.

Great place to stay I fell right at home

The house and the setting are very nice. They could have the place next to the sea ready, since we did not enjoy that place and the hammocks were never set up, to be able to use it and have another environment to spend more time there. It is very neglected. But the hosts and Jose and Maura who looked after us, were always very attentive. Thank you very much for opening your home to us.

Great place! Looks exactly like the photos and the guards are super nice. The only thing is that the beach is crossing the street and is quite far, but otherwise it’s beautiful.

A beautiful, super comfortable place; the house has all the amenities, it's super well equipped, all the areas have furniture in excellent condition, the rooms are comfortable, the A/Cs work perfectly, and there's enough water at all times. A special mention for Don José's service, he and Doña Maura looked after us very well, always attentive and even when we went to the beach he accompanied us and looked after us. Totally recommended and we will definitely be back.
