We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fee was friendly and helpful. Our cabina was clean and exactly as described. Great location for activities and walking to restaurants and shops. The communal living/kitchen area was great. We enjoyed cooking there as well as relaxing and reading a book. Even used the exercise equipment. Sitting in this open area listening to the howler monkeys was amazing!

I liked the weather and the place, which is very green and laid-back because of the rain.

A perfect place to avoid paying exorbitant prices and get a fully functional place to use as a base in Manuel Antonio. The common area is spotless, with a hostel-like vibe. The only issue I found with the room was that it shook from time to time. We didn't know if it was due to an earthquake or because of activity on other floors or on the stairs. Pura Vida

Highly recommend this place! The grounds are beautiful, and we actually saw a sloth hanging out on the property, which was amazing. The room was super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. We were a bit worried about having no A/C at first, but the fans kept the room perfectly fine and pleasant. The location is great too—easy walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. Fer and Rose were awesome hosts. They communicated everything clearly at every step and were super responsive. We'd definitely stay here again!

Definitely recommended. We loved the place, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We discovered it late, but we probably would have stayed more nights. It's much better than what you see in the photos. The icing on the cake was waking up to see the monkeys in the tree outside our window.

I wish I could've lived here! This place was absolutely PERFECT, literally the most amazing location on the boarder of both Quepos and Manuel Antonio, right next to the local bus line and many affordable and friendly restaurants and outside of the Tsunami Zone. From being able to book a direct shuttle to the accomodations, a welcome book with all the info you need, great housekeeping, and always providing the most amazing suggestions to make life easier, Fer, Rosa, and the entire staff went above and beyond in ensuring myself and my 5 year old were well taken care of. I stayed 2 weeks & it truly wasn't long enough. This was the most AMAZING stay. I cannot wait to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Quepos! The place was clean, comfortable, and a great home base for exploring Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The location was convenient, and I really enjoyed being surrounded by the beautiful nature of Costa Rica. The host was welcoming, helpful, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. After spending my days exploring, it was nice to come back to a comfortable and relaxing place. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. I would happily stay here again!

What a great place to stay! We loved our time at this home - they had everything to keep both parents & kids entertained. A well-stocked kitchen, a great outdoor space with a pool that was perfect for cooling down, games and toys for the child we were traveling with, and such a great location - it was close to the park, restaurants, and supermarkets. Best of all, Fer had some great recommendations ready - from restaurants to activities, beaches and more. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay at Soul House. The very first thing we saw when we walked in was monkeys in the trees right off the porch. It was clean, spacious, and exactly what you’d want if you are looking for the Costa Rica experience (open air kitchen with screens, large open patio with wild life visiting) with some nice amenities (AC in the bed rooms, hot water, etc). It’s also very close to restaurants and a short drive to MA and Quepos. We loved it! Will be back again.

Iron and Rosa responded very quickly. The instructions were clear. They also arranged a day trip for us on a catamaran. It was a great experience for our young family. The accommodation is very good; it is private. We saw monkeys.

We were very comfortable and at ease at this accommodation. It is located in an accessible place. The place is fully equipped and clean. The hosts were very nice and available at all times. Right there we saw guatusas, monkeys and several birds. 100% recommended.

Fer and Rosa were so responsive. The Chill Out House was a perfect base to explore and the perfect base to come back to. It was conveniently located to everything you need and only 10 minute drive to the park. We saw scarlet macaws and white faced capuchin monkeys on the property grounds as well as the resident agoutis. It was also a nice bonus to have the pool to relax in. The owners had also gone to so much trouble to inform their guests about the area and CR in general. Lovely place. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Fer's jungle cabinas were perfect for a stay in Manuel Antonio. We were in the middle of a jungle!!! The sounds and the smells were wonderful to fall asleep to and wake up to. The common area was open and welcoming with everything we needed. It was a good place to sit and relax at the end of the day. We loved the hammock and the yoga mats and gym equipment. It was a natural place to meet other travellers and exchange info. Fer and Rosa were around to answer questions and recommend things to do and places to eat. The best thing about this airbnb were all the animals!!!! We had daily visits from cappuchin monkeys playing on the roof of the common area, colourful birds and agouti and capybaras walking outside the window of our room. We look forward to our next stay at Fer and Rosa's Jungle Cabinas. Thank you!

Our accommodation was great. The room was very large and clean, and it looked like the photos. We were also able to watch the monkeys playing in the trees early in the morning from our room! Great experience, recommended! :)

We would recommend the experience 1000%, as they are amazing hosts who are super attentive to you and your needs at all times. The house is comfortable, very spacious and has everything you need. We would come back without hesitation.

Our stay at Chill House was wonderful Great location, the house is large, and the exterior is extremely well laid out We were able to easily enjoy the surroundings (10 min from Manuel Antonio, Espadilla Beach, Quepos, etc.) and also relax at the Chill House, feeling like we were in the heart of nature with the monkeys and toucans The hosts also respond quickly when you have a small problem or a question. The sofa bed is also comfortable (my 17-year-old son slept well) In short, I recommend 100%. Caroline Paradis

Once-in-a-lifetime experience

The jungle cabins are comfy and clean. Loved the common area kitchen and lounge. Signed our names on the giant blackboard. Saw macaws flying over. Enjoyed watching the white faced monkeys just outside our window and the howlers at the end of the street. Not far from great restaurants and a short drive to Manuel Antonio.

Very peaceful and lots of space! The only disappointment is that there is no air conditioning in the living/dining room, but it is very cool in the bedrooms for sleeping! Very clean, and we really enjoyed the location and the small pool :)

Great place! My friends and I loved the space and the common areas. The kitchen had everything you would need and the seating was great as well. The laundry room is easy to navigate and was greatly appreciated. The host was super friendly and his dog was adorable! Everything was super walkable, there’s a gym, restaurants, grocery stores and souvenir shops just 5 mins away by foot. Overall an amazing place and would book again!

This is such a nice place! You feel in a little village in the middle of the rainforest! We were a family of 4 and I liked the concept of having the room to sleep in with a private bathroom while using the common area to cook, eat and chill! Really hard to beat at this price and I would totally recommend for someone visiting the area (Manuel Antonio National Park)!

Our stay was exceptional! We had a visit from raccoons and a colony of capuchin monkeys that performed acrobatics above the pool. The place is spacious and perfectly equipped. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The unoverlooked outdoor space is very nice in this tourist area. With our 6- and 10-year-old children, we enjoyed the barbecue and the pool. In addition, Fer organizes outings upon request. We recommend the place without a second thought :)

Jungle Cabinas provided an amazing setting at an incredible value. Our family had a great experience. Our room was plenty big for my wife and I and our two teenage kids. The common area was close by and provided everything you would normally get in an Airbnb, kitchen, refrigerator, laundry, games. It was great. The setting is laid back, serene, and provides a unique experience. It felt like Costa Rica. The location was a close walk to restaurants and the bus stop, which I recommend using even if you have a car like we did. It’s easy and inexpensive. Our hosts were the best. They were very friendly, helpful, and filled with positive energy. They helped us book a tour and were always a quick text away if we needed anything. We recommend without hesitation.

Very well described check-in with simple instructions. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with lovely details. Fer and Rosa always responded quickly to my messages and were very nice and accommodating! The cabin is in the middle of the jungle, which was a dream. The kitchen is super equipped with really everything you need. We also really liked the chill area. With a bit of luck, you can even watch the monkeys. The value for the money is a dream! We would come back.

Fer's ChillOut House was a great place to stay while enjoying the beaches and national park. Fer and Rosa were super-responsive, they helped me to book an airport transfer on short notice when my existing transfer got cancelled.

It was a nice and nice place. Restaurants within walking distance. The amenities were also great! You could do laundry, chill out, and even exercise there. The common area was well appointed for all rooms. You also saw a lot of animals from the common area. Lovely to look at! The room was spacious and tidy! Same goes for the bathroom. Totally great! The owner is also super friendly! He helped with any questions we had. A very nice and helpful man!

I’m so glad I picked this spot! I didn’t rent a car and this was central enough that I only had to Uber a few times. It was clean and very unique. Saw loads of animals while on the property, which was my goal! And if you’ve never heard a howler monkey but at 4 am think you’re being woken up by a demon, you’re hearing your first howler monkeys! Only happened one time that early, but I was paralyzed by fear! So consider yourselves warned haha. Fer and Rosa put a lot of thought into the little touches and were great hosts. Highly recommend for a budget stay!

Very nice stay at Soul House for our family of 5! Plenty of space for our teenagers! The covered patio and its hammocks were everyone's favorite, with the jungle and wildlife close by (monkeys, parrots, sloths). The hosts are very responsive and friendly! Their restaurant recommendations were very helpful, and the jungle horseback riding activity they suggested and booked for us was really great! We would recommend this villa without hesitation if you are staying in Manuel Antonio!

I've traveled many places and I have to say FER mastered all of the amenities. The organization from check-in to being informative and creating a comfortable and enjoyable stay! He even offered to drive my brother to the pharmacy to get some medication. For any solo or family traveling to Costa Rica I highly recommend.

Fer and Rose were awesome host. They were communicative with the check-in procedures. The house easily accommodated our two families, for a total of 9 people. Fer and Rose recommended great activities and restaurants. We had an issue with the washer but the hosts were responsive and even sent out his maintenance guy, Oscar, to take a look. Even Oscar was superb and no more issues with the washer. We saw monkeys, macaws, and sloths from the house. The pool was a bit small but that didn’t matter to us and everyone still had fun. No complaints whatsoever on the Soul House and would highly recommend Fer and Rose’s place to anyone!

We loved our family stay (2 adults, 3 children) at this place. It was more spacious than the photos suggested. The place was clean, well-equipped. We loved the decor and the "treasure cave" look. There are sand games, boards for the beach, a ball... it allowed the children to play in the yard. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and the pool when coming back from our visits or from the beach. The hosts welcome us with a guide full of suggestions and tips that only locals know (e.g., for finding parking). Finally, the rental is ideal at the top of the hill in Manuel Antonio and close to amenities and restaurants within walking distance - while still having privacy. We heard howler monkeys, saw capuchin monkeys, lizards... In short, don't hesitate to rent it!

The best Airbnb! I felt really great during my stay. They leave you a guide with everything you need to know about the accommodation, transportation, nearby activities, etc. You can easily get to the nearby tourist spots. I loved that the common area was so open. You can have breakfast and see monkeys or very pretty birds My alarm clock used to be the howler monkeys. They lend you Tupperware, you can wash your clothes, etc. It's a place I'll definitely go back to. Very good service and kindness ✨♥️ You can tell I had a great time, haha 🦎🥥

We stayed three nights at the Chillout house. It's a lovely place with plenty of space and privacy. The garden with all the animals is fantastic. A lovely swimming pool to cool off in and hammocks to chill out in. The living room with kitchen is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Bedrooms with good beds, air conditioning and fans. The location is convenient. Easily accessible by both car and bus. We'll definitely come back here again. Pura Vida!

This is an amazing little piece of paradise in Manuel Antonio! The location is great— close to restaurants and beaches, but tucked away on a quiet street. We loved that the wildlife was so accessible. From the property we were able to spot monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and agoutis. Fer was an AMAZING host. His welcome book had tons of interesting and helpful tips. He even helped us schedule a night walk tour that our whole family really enjoyed. We had a small issue come up the first day or our trip, but Fer responded ASAP and helped us resolve the issue quickly which we really appreciated. It’s obvious that Fer cares a lot about his guests enjoying their experience here. We’re so glad we booked this place— highly recommend!!

A WONDERFUL place! It is absolutely the most beautiful, low-priced accommodation I have found in Costa Rica. The room also had beach towels and a small cooler bag available for the beach. The kitchen was also well furnished, and each room had its own closet with everything you needed, including plastic containers. The very kind and friendly owners created a welcome book with lots of super useful information about the area. Thanks!!

What an AMAZING place, where to start! Fer and Rosa and the whole team are so fantastic. They’re all so friendly, helpful and welcoming and we felt like family from the moment we met them. We felt completely at home at Jungle Cabinas and only wish we had longer! We are already trying to arrange our next trip back. The whole place is spotless and lovely. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, really good ceiling fans to keep you cool. Our stay had everything you need and more. A cool box to use, a fridge, coffee, shampoos,soaps and conditioner. Beautifully quiet but near everything including bars and restaurants. An amazing welcome book with all the information and more - so well thought out and arranged. Plenty of wildlife, inc monkeys. The common space was very well set and spacious. Everything you need to cook and free laundry!! Incredible!! We are in LOVE with the place and can’t wait to go back. 100% recommend, beautiful homes and both hosts are so wonderful ❤️ Pura Vida 😎

Fer and Rosa's place is beautiful! We were welcomed shortly after arriving by monkeys chasing each other, making for an unforgettable first impression. The property is peaceful, with an amazing outdoor space where we spent a lot of time relaxing. There were six of us, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The house is also in a great gated location—its close to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Checkin was super simple. Fer and Rosa helped us book a fantastic tour. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is unbeatable, very eco-friendly, and surrounded by lush vegetation, with monkeys playing on the roof of the common area. Fer is a spectacular host, attentive, friendly, very available; a real treat

genuinely the best stay we had in our 2 weeks of costa rica. we arrived here after doing the manuel antonio park all day and the pool was an amazing time after being so hot all day. it somehow was the perfect temperature all the time. the inside of the house is gorgeous and very roomy, the bed and ac were amazing. the hosts truly thought of everything you would need, including a cooler for the beach and even beach toys for children. we saw many many monkeys and heard howler monkeys multiple times. toucans came to hang out and so did other little animals. since the other apartment is on top (ish) of this one, you can hear people talking if they're on their balcony and you're in the bedroom, but that was totally fine and didnt interrupt us. it was a great stay and we really really loved it there.

I have been to MA many times and this is in the top of my list for favorite AirBnBs. The location is great and instructions to get there and check in were clear. The rooms and common areas were also very spacious. We also had the opportunity to see a lot of wildlife. Fer was also very responsive and stopped by to make sure everything in the house was going smoothly. I would certainly consider coming back.

The stay was great. The room was very spacious and clean. There is no air conditioning, but the fans are sufficient for the night. In the common area there are many utensils and a closet for each apartment with more things, which is appreciated. Also, the location was pretty good, close to the national park and lots of shops and restaurants. I recommend it!

This was a wonderful stay for 6 friends visiting Quepos. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Everything appeared clean. We appreciated having plenty of fans throughout the property as it did get hot and humid at times. Each bedroom had a small minisplit unit which worked well at keeping us cool. The hammocks on the porch were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. We saw lots of wildlife, including monkeys and birds, almost every morning and evening. The pool was small but perfect for us to sit, relax, and cool off after a day of activities. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the Quepos area with a group.

100% recommended accommodation. The hosts (Fer and Rosa) were lovely (wonderful people who gave us very good advice and recommendations, and helped make our stay perfect), as was the rest of the cleaning and maintenance staff. The room, the bed and the bathroom (shower) are very large. It is in a jungle area, so in the common areas it is common to see capuchin monkeys, titis and howler monkeys (the latter are difficult to see, but they do not go unnoticed because of their howls), as well as other mammals (such as cherengas), birds and insects. It is very close to a bus stop to Quepos, the National Park, supermarkets and dining venues.

Soul House was perfect for our family of Vida! 100% as pictured. The bedrooms provided a great, cool retreat, but we spent most of our time together on the giant covered patio when we were home. We saw birds, agouti and howler monkeys right from there, and played cards and read while it rained. The pool is small, above ground and shallow and it was perfect to cool off as a sittin' pool! Very walkable area and a quick drive to the Parque and beaches. The hosts were very responsive and kind. Pura vida!

Excellent place for our family visit- the kids loved watching all the wildlife from the pool and hammocks! AC in the room was great. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants at the Marcado Gastronomica. Tip: eat outside at the patio table- This keeps ants inside to a minimum.

Quiet, very clean space with a great common area. The kitchen is well equipped, and each room has its own set of cutlery and dishes in the cabinet. Toward the afternoon, the capuchin monkeys like to make an appearance and sometimes play around on or under the roof of the kitchen, which is really cute – close to nature, in other words! The view from the common area (including some agoutis) also gives you a hint that the Manuel Antonio National Park is not far away. Those arriving by car park on the property, which is secured with a gate and PIN code. The hosts' recommendations in the welcome book regarding the area, restaurants, farmers market, etc. are great. I benefited greatly from them!

The place is beautiful, both the cabin and the common area. But above all, the land where it is located, surrounded by nature with many species of trees, plants and animals running around. We were able to see different species of monkeys, agoutis, hummingbirds... It was wonderful to be able to relax in the hammock, drinking coffee and listening to the birds and howler monkeys. It's also very close to the bus stop to go to Manuel Antonio, so I definitely recommend it, and if we can, we'll come back.

Awesome home! We saw macaws, monkeys and lizards within 10minutes of arriving. So peaceful watching the animals. So much room on the porch and in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Laundry worked great and dried super quick on the line. There is only AC in the bedrooms, not in the dining/kitchen area, just FYI. It was perfect to sleep. Monkeys typically woke us up about 5am. Very easy to walk to tasty restaurants. Super close to many beaches, only a 10min drive. Loved the place and Fer and Rosa were very responsive.

The home matches the description very well. We only stayed for 3 days and had a nice time! You have to follow the directions exactly to find the house. If you have any problems locating it, Fer responds very quickly and the help was quite prompt. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to prepare food there. One detail to emphasize is that there is no air conditioning, but the two ceiling fans cooled the room well. It is important to note that there is no reception, so if you arrive before check-in time, there are no restrooms available and no place to leave your belongings. Fer made it easy for us to leave the car before entering, and our belongings were safe inside the car while we looked for a nearby restaurant to use the restroom. Both restaurants and supermarkets are very close to the place.
