This place is a paradise! So much to do! So much space for big groups! It was 12 of us and it still felt really spacious! Everything was clean and organized. The host had only been there for 2 weeks so he was new but such a great guy! He made us feel welcomed and took care of our every need. He showed me around and taught me how to use everything so we wouldn’t struggle. When we were leaving he found one of our phones and ran to return it to us. Extremely Amazing get away! Already planning next years and it will definitely be here!

A place to disconnect and enjoy a super natural environment surrounded by lots of wildlife, flowers and birds everywhere. The house has a rustic style, and nature is very present. Norberto is super friendly!! He welcomed us and handed everything over in order The pool area is beautiful!

Gabe was very responsive and flexible with us. Our 6hr drive from Manizales turned into an almost 9hr drive due to the Earthquake and Gabe was flexible to allow us a late check-in. The person who showed us around the house was very thorough and explained all the amenities, and instructions. The place is beautiful and we really enjoyed the stay. Someone came daily to clean the pool and hot tub, and provide firewood for us. We really appreciate the small details and the kindness of the host. I highly recommend staying here

Gabe was helpful, friendly and recommended great stuff to do. Also recommended a chef for us to cook while we were there. Everything was perfect. Looking to come back again.

Staying at Gabe’s place was a wonderful experience. Norberto was extremely helpful, providing all the instructions and recommendations. The place was fantastic, featuring a beautiful jacuzzi where our kids enjoyed playing while I cooked on the BBQ. We had a great time kayaking and paddleboarding, and the surroundings are truly impressive. We definitely plan to return soon.

Great place to stay with a large group! So much to do! Note you are in the trees, so you will have some critters. Great pool, great beds, amazing master shower, fantastic views and a large kitchen!

Our stay was perfect. The house is spectacular, surrounded by nature, ideal for resting and disconnecting. It has all the amenities, very spacious and well-distributed spaces to enjoy as a group. The pool and jacuzzi were impeccable throughout the stay; someone came every day to do maintenance. Gabe and Betty were exceptional hosts, always very attentive, friendly, and ready to resolve any concerns or needs that arose. In addition, the cook they recommended to us was an excellent choice. In short, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back and recommend this place 100%.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the area, the home and ambiance. We made use of every part of the home! Such a relaxing stay. The only downside was that it was a bit far from supermarkets if you’re relying on taxis instead of driving—about a 20+ minute trip. Overall, it was a good stay.

This whole experience was simply amazing, and the house and the grounds were an exotic paradise. Noberto and Gabe took great care of us too. You will never find another Airbnb exactly like this one. It is unique.

We had an amazing time at the Nature villa! We were beyond comfortable and right in the middle of nature. The house was absolutely beautiful and everything was great. I was worried about mosquitoes but it was never a problem here, we never got bit. The house was very comfortable, we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this house and location!

Excellent accommodation; the fireplace and the Jacuzzi are outstanding, as is the dock. Very well equipped, perfect bed linens. Two wonderful bedrooms, although no space to put clothes; the bed was perfect. Lots of stairs, difficult for the elderly.

The house is spectacular, and the surrounding area and nature are beautiful. Mr. Norverto is very attentive and willing to help with whatever we need. The downstairs rooms smell musty, and several rooms have plumbing problems, as the smell comes back and it's unpleasant. The neighbors are very noisy and don't let you sleep; I think they should have this under control, as the idea is to go there to rest, and on two occasions, it wasn't possible. Everything else was great!!!

Truly magical property. So big and so much to do it felt like we didn’t even take advantage of all it had to offer during a 3 night stay. The kitchen was huge and we were able to cook for 11 people comfortably. The rooms were nice a cozy. Finally, the view and water activities from the private dock were what made this place fun for our entire family.

Gabe's Lakeside Airbnb was absolutely amazing. You truly feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, peace, and unreal views of the lake. It's the perfect escape while still being comfortable and well taken care of. The staff was incredible-super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The entire experience felt effortless and relaxing. If you're coming to Guatapé and want something unique, peaceful, and unforgettable, I 100% recommend staying here. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

A wonderful place, we were looking for comfort, disconnection and tranquility, this place met our expectations. The house is equipped with everything you need to have a great time with your family. They have a good location and are always available to help you with what you need, with a person to help you cook, with contacts for a tour or boat rental. I would definitely go back!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here over Christmas. The place was spotless, beautifully set up, and felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfectly prepared for the holidays and made our stay truly special. All the personnel were amazing, but we especially want to mention Norberto, who was always attentive, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect at all times. Gabe was also wonderful—very attentive and genuinely caring, which made us feel very well looked after. Thanks to the great service, peaceful atmosphere, and attention to detail, this place truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Christmas and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a tropical paradise this is it. Lush garden surroundings, exotic birds every where you look provided us with a very peaceful tranquil stay. This was undoubtedly one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. Property description and photos were totally accurate. Gabe’s communication with us was prompt and courteous, with responses being received in less that 15 minutes. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be going back again.

Beautiful jungle villa, very very open space inside. It felt like you were staying inside a jungle while being in the villa. Very friendly staff and Gabe gave great recommendations for things to do, restaurants and amenities in the area. There is quite a bit of traffic on the road beside the house I wouldn’t hold it against the property but something to note if you’re a light sleeper with the house being very open to the surroundings you definitely hear a lot of the noise. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We had such a wonderful family stay at this rental home! The property was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful greenery, perfect for relaxing. We loved all of the games—Jenga, ping pong, and more—as well as the amenities like paddle boarding, the pool, and the jacuzzi. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, from pots and pans to plates and even seasonings, which made cooking so convenient. It truly felt like a home, and our only regret was not staying longer. Norberto, who took care of the property, was incredibly kind and attentive. Gabe gave us great local recommendations, including connecting us with an amazing chef who came to the Airbnb on our first night—such a special experience! Overall, this was an amazing place to stay, I recommend booking!

My family had so much fun on this vacation and made memories for a lifetime! The space was perfect for a large group! The only thing I will say is there are some areas of the house (like the stairs) that are not the most kid friendly. Outside of that there was so much to enjoy like ping pong, paddle boarding, hot tub and pool. Truly an amazing time!

Wow, what a fantastic place. Villa Del Mar was everything that we expected and more. Betty, Norberto and Diego were all very responsive and extremely helpful when we had questions or needs regarding our stay. The facilities are extremely well kept. My family and I had a very fun and relaxing week at Villa Del Mar. Will definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

Roberto met us at check in and walked us through the entire house showing us the amenities and how everything worked. The house itself is about 20 min from the closest grocer so it’s a good idea to stock up before arriving. Great place to spend a few days with family and friends to enjoy the lake, pool, jacuzzi and views. Highly recommended.

Gabe’s place was the most pleasant experience I’ve encountered through air b and b. The place is extremely beautiful and spacious right in the middle of Medellin and guatape which offers a nice getaway from the tourist attractions. Gabe is quick to response, friendly and accommodating when we asked for early check in. Gabe offers the information of a maintenance keeper who was extremely helpful and was there to great us before our stay. On one occasion we wanted the jacuzzi to be hotter and we message the maintenance keeper whom came to the resident within 10mins of the message to help us out and was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to all whom want to explore Colombia’s beautiful nature side.

Beautiful house with alot of grounds and a beautiful pool/settings. Extremely well thought out amenities. Access to the lake with third party water sports rentals available. Perfect place for a family.

The place was absolutely stunning. The place looks exactly like the pictures and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds, linens, and towels were all clean. Communication between Gabe and Norberto was quick and clear. Definitely would stay again. Only thing I would suggest is a getter for the pool as well as it was chilly in the mountains and we didn’t really get to enjoy the pool as much. But the jacuzzi was phenomenal.

This was the best place for a weekend retreat. You’re surrounded by nature 360 degrees and it’s amazing. The place is huge and has a pool and everything you can think of!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! As shown in the photos, the property is really special, absolutely stunning. We really appreciated the beautiful foliage, the amazing home, and all of the amenities. What you can't see from the listing is the amazing service provided by Gabe and his team (especially Norberto and Betty). During check-in, Norberto did a fantastic job explaining the features of the house. Betty was very helpful in coordinating everything, including activities in the local area. We really appreciated the stocking of the bird feeder each day, as it provided a great show of stunning, colorful birds. I would also highly recommend the boat service (details in the house) as a means to visit the town of Guatape. The views along the way were great. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we hope to come back soon!

This place is beautiful and was perfect four our family gathering. The gardens make the property and the building is designed around vegetation. Caretaker and cook were very kind and responsive. We just wished we had stayed a little longer.

Beautiful home submerged in total nature. Communication with the host and cohost were excellent during our stay. We were greeted by Norberto who was wonderful and so helpful in showing us the house.
