A house and a place in general that are spectacular!! It has everything you need and more. A very clean and beautiful place. The pool is wonderful. The weather makes you not want to leave. Highly recommended for resting, relaxing and having a nice time!!

Maria’s place was absolutely lovely! Everything was as described and comfortable. We loved that we could easily walk into town and grab something delicious to eat then retreat back to tranquility. Maria herself was so friendly and responsive and really did make us feel right at home. It was our little slice of Costa Rican paradise and we will look back at our stay fondly in Atenas.
This home is beautiful and located in a very convenient location. My wife and I walked to several different restaurants and to the grocery stores, banks, pharmacy, etc. The resident horses were fun to watch and helped make our stay even more peaceful. I met Maria Fernanda’s grandfather the first morning that we were there and he was delightful! He even gave us a bunch of bananas that were delicious! We 100% recommend this house and we will be going back!

A wonderful, spacious place with lots of vegetation and all the amenities. It is 30 minutes from San José. The hosts were attentive and responded very quickly.
We loved it, we spent a few very nice days relaxing. The place was very clean and smelled very good. The pool is also clean and a perfect size. On the first day there was a problem with the water supply in the town, however the water tank in the house worked very well, so we had no problems and Maria was always making sure that we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
Nice place that would have been more peaceful if not for major road construction (out of the owners control). It would also have been nice to get an advance warning or even the option to cancel but unfortunately we got neither. Also disappointing to not have soap and shampoo in the shower.
This place is a true gem. With three separate buildings on the property, 2 sleeping areas and 1 common area, it’s perfect for peacefulness. The property is quiet and beautiful.

The place is very nice and private. It's very close to downtown Athens, so if you need to do some shopping, go out to eat or just walk around, it's very easy. Both my family and I had a great time, we would love to come back again!
The property and house is beautiful. The pool is very nice, the kitchen is very complete and has enough comfortable spaces to sit. However, we had a couple of problems with the electricity, which went off on two occasions, and we ran out of water on the last day due to a cut in the area and the reserve tank not working properly.

Daniela, agradecemos tu visita y tu reseña. Lamentamos los inconvenientes que mencionas, nuestro objetivo es siempre tener comunicación fluida y poder asistir a cada uno de nuestros huéspedes, por lo que es importante aclarar algunos puntos. En cuanto a la electricidad, como ustedes mismos nos indicaron en una llamada telefónica, el problema se debió a que ustedes conectaron luces exteriores que no estaban en uso en la propiedad, lo que provocó un cortocircuito. Esto no fue una falla del alojamiento, sino una consecuencia de una acción externa. Aun así, les asistimos de inmediato para solucionar el inconveniente. El corte de agua fue un problema ajeno a nuestra propiedad, afectando a toda la zona. Cuando nos notificaste, la reserva del tanque de agua interna de la casa ya se había agotado, algo que desafortunadamente también estaba fuera de mi control. Además, posterior al check out nos encontramos una de las persianas de los cuartos completamente zafada del roll del techo y la cadena entre roscada hasta reventar. Les habría agradecido como huéspedes me lo informaran a su salida, ya que tomó por sorpresa y complicaciones al equipo de limpieza. Somos Superhosts por una razón y siempre hemos priorizado el bienestar de nuestros huéspedes. Afortunadamente, nunca habíamos tenido inconvenientes de este tipo, por lo que esperamos que estos puntos queden aclarados para la tranquilidad de futuros huéspedes.
The house and the surroundings are very beautiful. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family of 6. Maria greeted us when we arrived and gave us recommendations for dinner. Town is nearby (drive) and airport is 30 minutes away.
