If I could rate this home higher I would! We had an incredible stay at Villa Los Encantos - truly unforgettable. Rolf and Carmen made this trip seamless and we had everything we could want or need. I cant wait to return in the future!

A group of friends and I stayed at Rolf’s to celebrate my birthday for what turned out to be one of the most memorable and enchanting stays. The home is gorgeous and it was perfect for a group of friends getting together. The on-site staff was amazing and so kind and made the most delicious breakfasts. The optional private chef dinners were also excellent and I would highly recommend. It’s extremely close to the Zona Romantica by vehicle, but we spent a considerable amount of time just enjoying time together and relaxing at the house. We definitely hope to stay again soon.

Beautiful home with a perfect view. The home is very spacious. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It is not in a walkable location, but it was an easy Uber ride to the city, a one way ride was typically 6-10 USD.

Amazing trip and stay!

We absolutely loved this villa and I 100% would come back again. We stayed for my bachelorette party and had 10 girls, and had the plenty of space for all of us. The pictures do not do it justice or show just how big it is! It was so luxurious and the house staff was amazing! Sandra and Louisa made the best breakfasts. The home is up on a hill so we definitely took Ubers anytime we left, but honestly I could have stayed in the villa the entire time and would have been happy. MexiTravels was great to work with and made our stay so smooth and easy for all of our airport transfers and grocery deliveries and I definitely would recommend booking the in villa chefs for dinner. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone coming to Puerto Vallarta with a group.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rolf's beautiful casa. From the moment we arrived till we left, Rolf, Sandra and Louisa were such great hosts. Rolf was always very responsive including during out stay and we cannot say enough about Sandra and Louisa's hospitality and mouth watering breakfast. The house was spacious for our large party, plenty of rooms and bathrooms and multiple living/lounging spaces. We enjoyed hanging out in the pool with the kids and enjoyed breath taking views of the ocean from sunrise to sunset. Thank you Rolf, Sandra and Louisa. Your place was all that we expected and then some more. We would love to come back again some day.

Another wonderful stay in Conchas Chinas at Villa los Encantos. We enjoyed everything and especially the great Breakfasts and cleaning by Carmen.

11 of us stayed in this villa for my 30th birthday. We had the BEST time. The house was beautiful and was always clean. The staff was incredible - the chef and server prepared delicious meals and were so attentive. The housekeepers prepared excellent breakfast daily and kept the house spotless. The villa was super private, and we felt safe and peaceful in the gated neighborhood. We will be returning!

Such a wonderful and beautiful villa! Rolf was so helpful in anything we needed and Carmen was great as well. Carmen’s breakfast and margaritas were delicious. The views were amazing and the whale watching from the patio will be unforgettable for my kiddos! Will definitely come back in the future!

Carmen the housekeeper and breakfast chef was fabulous. Justine, the concierge was great. The house has great views and is certainly safe and comfortable. All the furniture and bedding is new and quite nice. Good communication with the host. Overall we very much liked the place. Two complaints: 1. There isn’t beach access and the ad should make that more clear. If you are very healthy you can hike 20-30 minutes to a un-swimable rocky coastline but the hike back is so steep you’ll need to call an uber to get back to the condo. In fact to get ANYWHERE from here you need to get a taxi or Uber. 2. WiFi is very weak and doesn’t reach throughout the house.

Rolf’s place was amazing! It looked even better in person! Everyone was extremely friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would love to come back here in the near future.

Wow! What a beautiful home and location. What truly stood out was the staff. Daniela and Derek were so easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip (with or without us asking!) and they were so lovely. Sandra and her staff cooked us lovely meals and daily breakfasts and were such kind people!

Amazing stay and amazing host. The staff was excellent, food every morning delicious, fully stocked with everything we requested. More than enough space for our group of 15. The view was breathtaking. Can’t say enough great things. We were sad to leave but will be back! Thank you for a memorable trip!!!!

Rolfe's home was absolutely amazing! Upon check-in Sandra, Luisa and Derek had margaritas made for us, which was an absolute delight. Derek, our concierge for the stay coordinated a grocery run prior to our arrival so we had everything we needed for cocktails, beers, snacks, etc. Each morning Sandra and Luisa prepared authentic breakfast dishes and fresh fruit and coffee. They also both kept the place immaculate during our stay. The villa was amazing, spread out over three floors there was plenty of room for 10 of us. the views from almost all of the bedrooms was incredible too.

We had an amazing stay at Los Encantos! The photos on the listing are beautiful, but they can't quite capture the magical place that it is. Carmen is a large part of the magic. We loved her chilaquiles and huevos rancheros (she even shared the secret to one of her sauces) - everything was delicious! The house is perched up in the hills, but we didn't mind the walk up the hill from the beach as it helped to justify all of the guacamole and margaritas. We loved returning to the house in the afternoon to cool off in the pool. As everyone mentions, the view is amazing. We saw whales and dolphins and also enjoyed watching the resident iguana who lives in one of the nearby trees. The only minor thing I would mention is that there is some road noise. It is not bad at all, but if you're a light sleeper and in one of the front rooms, you may want to bring earplugs. Rolf was a great host - extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. I will be a repeat visitor!

This was our second time staying at the villa. Don't worry that it's not right on the beach --- the view and the seclusion more than make up for it. The location is great: away from the noise of town but close enough so that it's not a hassle to get to restaurants, shopping, etc. Carmen is a treasure. She kept the place spotless and prepared delicious breakfasts, snacks, fresh salsa, and guacamole. There are three bedrooms and one alcove with a bed that is not private and shares a bathroom with one of the bedrooms. The kitchen and living room are open-air, but the upstairs can be closed off and air-conditioned. The pool and side garden are beautiful. We enjoyed watching the resident iguana's daily activities.

Las Encantos was spectacular! The pictures don’t do it justice- the view of the ocean is tranquil and almost prevents you from leaving the house. Carmen was so kind and took great care of us, from breakfast to helping with laundry and resetting the rooms each day back to pristine condition. Although not walkable, there are so many wonderful restaurants and beaches within a short distance (5-10min Uber). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Casa Los Encantos was amazing, Carmen kept the house spotless throughout our stay and her guacamole and salsa was enjoyed by everyone! The views and the pool were our favorite part of the house. Thank you Rolf for sharing your beautiful home with us. Can't wait to go back.

This airbnb was an absolute dream! Rolf connected us with MexiTravels, which made the pickup/drop off from the airport hassle free. They also provided us with covid testing right at home so we could prepare for our flight. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not to mention the view is absolutely breathtaking! Carmen was definitely one of the highlights and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning. I definitely recommend this place!

Everything about the experience was simply incredible! This was a spur of the moment trip for us and I could not feel more fortunate to have found such a gorgeous destination to create memories with my daughters! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and take more loved ones! Breathtaking views, extremely comfortable, beautifully appointed home, I have never been more relaxed without a care in the world. And Carmen… What an absolute treasure!!! In four short days we created so many memories full of love and laughter, and a connection to a place and a person we will hold in our hearts forever! Rolf’s connection at Mexitravels handled everything from dining reservations, in-house massages, excursions, as well as in house Covid testing. Everything was effortless! We’ll be back!!

Wow. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of this place. First and foremost, know and understand that the pics on the site are great, but they simply can’t express how glorious this home really is. The view is out of this world. Watching the sunset and rise every day was breathtaking. It was very hard to leave this home, we even extended our stay because it was that incredible. I have zero negative comments on this home. I came here (PVR), to propose to my now fiancé, and I have to say I couldn’t have picked a better place. The all star of this property by far is CARMEN! If you choose to stay here, she’s the MVP. She did a great job with information, the upkeep of the home, and making us breakfast every morning. All I can say is that I’ll be back with my Fiancé and friends/family, simply to experience this again with other ppl and relive our engagement. Thanks Rolf! This property is incredible and your communication with us was excellent. What a home!

Could not have picked a better or more beautiful home for my friends and I to have our annual reunion trip. Upon entry to the villa, the ocean greats you, framed with beautiful flowers and views of the homes below. Rooms are spacious and bright and airy! The bathrooms were gorgeous and unique in their tiling. Opening the floor to ceiling window doors made us all feel like we were having a conversation together as friends even while some were outside in the pool and some were upstairs seated on the window bench! This is a space that has been tastefully and charmingly designed with every detail in mind, and it shows. But what really made this trip so incredible were the people we met while there. I cannot speak enough on how warm and friendly Carmen was to my friends and I! She is the housekeeper and she made our breakfast but she also had jokes and information to share. She truly made us feel at home. Charlie was our chef for dinner and he was truly gifted with his talent! Rolph has made this home a must-see destination for anyone with a large group headed to Conchas Chinas. We will look fondly upon our memories and videos from this trip.

Wow! Rolf’s villa blew our group away. Amazing panoramic views of the ocean, huge space, relaxing pool, great communication, and more! Bianca with the concierge team was so helpful. Carmen took care of the villa and made us amazing breakfast every morning. If you’re going to PV and are looking for a charming villa with killer views, look no further than Rolf’s villa.

Rolf and his team members (Carmen $ Monse) made our trip one to remember. We will most definitely be back, this was by far our best vacation ever, filled with beautiful amazing moments and spiritual awakening. If you ever were looking for a sign to book and go, this is is. This is a beautiful massive property with a spectacular view overlooking the pacific. The bedrooms are cute and the beds are super comfortable. The house is situated up on the hills but its conveniently located to the beach and all the restaurants. Carmen is a wonderful lady she made us breakfast every morning and left the place absolutely sparkling clean we loved having her at the house. I had the pleasure of meeting Rolf whos an incredibly delightful person and always there to answer your questions and concerns I would definitely come back!

Where to start! This was an amazing experience and a beyond beautiful house. The staff, the pool, the bedrooms/bathrooms, the entertainment room—everything was AMAZING! I’ve stayed in Conchas chinas / rio amapas area multiple times but this was hands down the best. Definitely recommend.

This place is so gorgeous! The pool views are amazing. We stayed for a girls trip of 8 girls. There were plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. The staff is very welcoming. Jose was amazing and treated us with great hospitality. He literally catered to us all and went above & beyond. He coordinated our massages, groceries and yacht rental. He’s very humble and such a hard worker. We would definitely be going back!!

We loved Rolf’s villa! The location was PERFECT and the pictures do not do it justice. Carmen was great, as other reviewers have said. Monsé was also a huge help! She helped us secure Jesus as a personal chef every night, ordered taxis for us, and helped us rent a yacht for the afternoon. We literally left feeling like we’d been on a true vacation and did it lift a finger in the most lovely location. We will definitely be back!

Wow, wow, wow! Where do I begin? I had a party of 14 to celebrate my birthday and this place was more than I could ever ask for. Every single room was spacious and comfortable. The upstairs was used as the communal area for breakfast, lunch, socializing, and swimming. The downstairs area was for those that wanted to stay up later or continue socializing while the others slept/rested. The views from both levels can't be beat and the sunsets are so picturesque. And Jose, I can't say enough great things about him. He was so attentive, friendly, and professional. He made everything run smoothly from having coffee ready for the early risers, breakfast prepared and ready as each person woke, having our transportation ready, and scheduling our COVID tests the day before we left. It's always difficult to have things run smoothly with such a large group but that was not the case with Jose's help. Myself and everyone in the group agree that this was the best trip we've ever taken. Thank you Rolf, Jose, Ana, and Juanita! Ü

This house was incredibly beautiful & the views are absolutely breathtaking! Not only was the house stunning but the staff was incredibly nice as well. Jose quickly became like family to us. He took care of everything we needed, he even went above and beyond and took care of retrieving a lost luggage from the airport for one of my friends while we were out doing activities. Amazing house and even better hospitality. I celebrated my birthday with a large group of friends and everyone fell in love with the place! Will be returning again.

Rolf's house is an experience more than it is a stay, and is likely the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. We were more than happy to spend most of our days at the house due to the exceptional hospitality and friendliness of Jose and the house staff, Rolf's assistance in navigating covid testing processes as well as recommending excursions, the incredible sunsets and dinners provided by a chef arranged by Rolf for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend staying here highly enough, we are already planning our return!

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay!! I cannot stress how great of a time we had in Rolf’s villa!! Everything was as described and even better honestly!! The views are absolutely spectacular and the decor and finishing touches are just beautiful! The pictures don’t even do it justice. The pool looked smaller in pictures but in real life it can easily fit 8+ people. On our second night we were surprised with a beautiful firework show that you can see perfectly from the balcony’s patio of the villa. Such a nice experience! Rolf was so helpful, responded quickly, and was just all around a great host. We were celebrating mine and my sister’s birthday and he gave great suggestions for different dinners and even arranged for a private chef for one of the nights! The chef was great and price was very reasonable. The housekeeper Carmen was just as lovely, just as the past visitors have stated. She made such delicious breakfast each morning and even made additional food for our vegan friend. When we arrived she made the best guacamole we had in PV and we had ALOT of guac this trip hahah! Presentation was always great as well!! Overall I would recommend this villa in a heartbeat! It’s fairly close to the main part of Romantic Zone. I wouldn’t say it’s walkable to main part of the Romantic Zone but it’s less than 10 mins by cab and only 80-100 pesos. Ubers are even cheaper! Def don’t hesitate to book with Rolf! I can’t wait to visit again!!

Excellent house, excellent service, everything was excellent. Carmen, as always, is very helpful and attentive. I have visited this house two or three times, and it is definitely my #1 choice when visiting Vallarta.

This home is beautiful and Rolf and Carmen really go above and beyond to help make your stay special. Located just a short couple minute drive from the zona romantica, the neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The home is spacious with most of the rooms offering retractable window walls to allow for a refreshing air flow. The pool is perfectly located to offer great sunlight in the afternoon. Carmen was also great about preparing delicious breakfast and snacks throughout our stay and maximizing the groceries we pre purchased for efficiency. Rolf was very attentive and ensured even the smallest of details were taken care of so that we could really enjoy our stay. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This multi-tier house is built high into the hill southeast of Zona Romantica. The view is incredible – you can see the entire city and the sunsets are amazing. The listing has great photos but even so I think you'll be pleasantly surprise when you arrive – it's hard to capture the scale of the house. The staff provides incredible service and they really took care to help support our plans each day no matter what we were up to. For example one day we went for a trip out of town and we woke up to find they had made to-go breakfasts for us. In addition the staff has great relationships with locals to provide other services like massage or van transport.

Wow! This was the ultimate 5 star experience for my birthday celebration. The #1 thing about Rolf's property is that I felt safe and everything was neat, in place, and the best thing about the property was Carmen. I can't thank her enough for the delicious meals, her friendly tips, keeping the place top notch and clean, and making us feel welcomed and well-taken care of. The food she cooked us was the best and she was always on time and made sure we had our privacy. The property is stunning and pictures don't do it justice. Rolf was there at my arrival and was very kind to help us get situated and give us tips on what to expect, rules, and how the town would be like. This is my 3rd time in Puerto Vallarta and will definitely consider booking this property again in March. Overall the pool was the cherry on top with the stunning views and the safety and quietness of the area. Thank you again and hoping to come back sooner than later.

You will not regret booking Casa Ave del Paradiso! The house is absolutely stunning & the pictures don't do it justice! Rolf was absolutely amazing with communicating about our trip, giving suggestions on local attractions & answering all of my questions. He greeted our group when we arrived & wished us well upon departure. I have stayed in several Airbnb's and I have never felt as welcome as I did by Rolf. The house staff is absolutely amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. This will definitely not be my only time staying at this wonderful villa!

Very great place

Such an amazing stay! Staff, food, drinks, views, EVERYTHING! My expectations were already high and they were beyond exceeded. Rolf was sooo helpful from booking to ordering stuff for the house and was so quick to respond and even gave suggestions (do NOT miss the pina coladas!) The staff (Jose, Graciela and Itzel) were all so accommodating and friendly and helped with whatever we needed. The upper deck pool was so nice to relax in whilst looking out at the ocean, and we saw some amazing sunsets. We were also up on a hill so whilst it took a little longer in taxis, I felt very safe in our secluded location. Hopefully we weren't too loud and crazy as it was a group of 9 girls for a bachelorette party. Only downside to the whole experience was that we didn't make the decision to stay longer. Thanks Rolf and staff!!!

Book this spot! This Villa is essential for a fantastic vacation. The layout is unique, far better than a cookie cutter condo design. The intricaticies of the hacienda design and decor; bright and sophisticated from the ceramic sconces and hanging star lights to the beautiful ceramic tiling. The views astounding, on several occasions we saw whales from the terrace. The Villa is situated close to the beach and market. (If taking Uber, ping your location when on the street in front of the building). Looking for hospitality, Rolf is committed to providing a one of a kind experience and Carmen is truly amazing, her guacamole is better than any I've ever had and her breakfasts delightful. No need to eat out, her cooking and the relaxing experience of the Villa is far superior. We will be booking this spot again!

The villa is perfect for a bunch of friends getting together, our case it was for my husband's 50th. Coming from Southern, CA we are accustomed to beautiful views and sunsets but the villa has absolutely breath taking views, with most bedrooms opening up to an elevated view of the ocean. Daily full spread breakfast and maid service/cleaning is very thorough. The decor was top notch and the hospitality provided by Rolf was like having a personal Concierge. We can't wait to go back!

This house was perfect for our family of ten- ages 16 to 72. The home is beautiful, spotless and in a perfect location. Jose, the houseman was A gem, from serving us margaritas,snacks and delicious breakfast to suggesting great spots to visit. We hired Chef for the arrival dinner, and were so impressed we had him cook dinner most evenings. Rolf was a wonderful host. He responded quickly to every question and was there to greet us and show us around. Every one of us had a fantastic time.

Reviews can be a bit long to read so I'll keep it straightforward! We had a party of 14 for my birthday, so this occasion was a big deal to us. :) 1. Rolf's place is underrated. The pictures don't do it justice. 2. The staff is incredible and extremely accommodating in every possible way. 3. Rolf's communication is extremely frequent and straightforward. Would recommend staying there and look forward to it possibly in the future.

We spent a dream week at Rolf’s Villa Los Encantos. Rolf was a fantastic host, patient with the plethora of questions I asked him in organizing our family vacation. He provided a lot of assistance in navigating our first time in Mexico… We were a group of five: Three adults, one child and one elderly. We all had a wonderful time. Carmen made the most delicious Mexican breakfasts, all from scratch. We had a private cook for three nights but would recommend future guests to also try the great restaurants downtown. Having dinner while watching the sunset from the villa is great, but so is trying something different in the great restaurants the city offers (El Arrayán has been our favourite) and then walking on Malecon, soaking in the vibrancy of Puerto Vallarta, brimming with the energy of its restaurants, bars, shops and families enjoying an evening stroll... Villa Los Encantos is a gorgeous house. It is expansive! Situated on a hill, the huge terraces offer panoramic views of the ocean and lush mountains. Summer is the rainy season, so it rained almost every late afternoon. This caused no hindrance as big parts of the terrace and part of the pool are covered. Afternoon thunderstorms bring relief from the humidity and offer great opportunities to relax and read a book or watch the wonderful lightning show… The walk down to the ocean takes a little over 10 minutes (up is 15 minutes) and is very scenic. July is very hot and humid, so for us the walk was only possible in the morning. Uber is no longer available in PV, but there is always taxis and it costs 50 pesos to the villa.... We prefer to spend our summer holidays mostly in the ocean, snorkeling and swimming. We had to make some changes to that routine in Puerto Vallarta, as the ocean was very warm -- warmer than the pool. We instead went downtown (over or under 100 pesos, depending on where you are going), explored the city, bought a lot of original art, enjoyed the villa and the views. In the early afternoons, Iguana Garden (as we named it since there were actual iguanas and one beautiful metal iguana statue) offered a wonderful reading spot... The infinity pool merges with the ocean and is breathtaking and we spent a lot of time in it… In conclusion: Everybody in our group wants to come back to Villa Los Encantos… (One note: bring mosquito coils and bug spray with you.)

A must stay home, views are breathtaking. Not far at all in Uber into town or near by places like the beaches or airport. The villa was that much more beautiful in person and had many personal touches. Owner Rolf was very responsive over Airbnb and Carmen who was in charge of tidying the place was super sweet and helpful.

Outstanding villa with gorgeous, awe-inspiring views. The open concept allows for amazing sunsets, blue skies and ocean breezes to be seen, felt and enjoyed. Beautifully appointed with lovely art throughout and plenty of outdoor and indoor areas to relax and hang out. The furnishings were elegant, sturdy and comfortable. There was even a daily housekeeper named Carmen who was a lovely surprise as we did not realize this was included. It gave us all the comforts and privacy of home with the luxury of a hotel. Towels, linens cleaned/replaced daily and dishes done and even breakfast prepared (ingredients purchased by us of course) if desired. Rolf is a gracious, receptive host who is clearly committed to providing a stellar experience for his guests. We had a wonderful holiday with family and friends that we will remember and cherish for years to come. I highly recommend!

This place is even better than the pictures. Great location just outside of the main part of town, everything is a short cab ride away. The house is amazing. So much space to lounge and look out at the million dollar view. Beds are huge and comfortable. Carmen was fantastic making us breakfast every morning then cleaning the place. The next time we visit PV we will definitely be staying here. Cannot recommend enough!

The accommodation with spectacular views, unbeatable. The house's spaces are super spacious. The pool is very nice to spend hot afternoons. Jose and Carmen treated us like royalty every morning with fresh coffee, fruit and delicious breakfast. We recommend this place for families.

The villa was exceptional, the location was great too. The caretaker was really helpful as well. Amazing views from the Villa, very well maintained. It is a little hard to find the Villa on Google Maps, but once we got there the first time, it was fairly easy to navigate.

This place is even more amazingly beautiful in person than it looks in the pictures. Hard to believe, but true. The openness of the layout and the jaw-dropping views from everywhere you look, can't be beat. One of our friends was also in PV and he was staying at a very nice condo in the hotel area of Puerto Vallarta and as soon as he entered our place he began planning his next trip so he could stay here. It is perfectly and artfully decorated with comfortable furnishings and beautiful art from the region. Every bedroom has a huge, comfortable and well laid out bathroom. The maid, Carmen, is kind and a wonderful cook. She will prepare breakfast for you and get creative when your ingredients run low :) It really added to our relaxation to have such a lovely person assist and serve us. As far as logistics, Rolf was great with communication, check in was easy, and we loved the location-- close to Old Town, but far enough away to be quiet and feel less "built up". It is a $5 taxi ride down to the main area in PV and taxis were easy to get. We went south for the day to Boca and Las Animas (highly recommend that hike) and a water taxi dropped us right on the small beach down the hill from our location. It's quite a steep hike up to the top of the hill where this building is located, so we grabbed a taxi for a couple of bucks. Easy. Over all this was an amazing stay. You will not request this choice.

The pictures don't do this wonderful property justice. The layout is absolutely wonderful...you get views of the ocean from both levels and almost every room in the house. The outdoor area is lovely for dining and the infinity pool, though not huge, is also great. Rolf always responded immediately-we were in great hands. And carmen, our housekeeper, took great care of us preparing breakfast and keeping the house clean while we were there. Truly the best vacation rental experience I've had!

The house is great! It has large spaces, amazing views from most rooms and it is equipped with everything you may need! It is very well located too. The hospitality adds a lot of points, with charming service and great breakfasts!! Great for family vacations or couple retreats!

This home is great! The views are beautiful! The house is well decorated! The staff provided great service. This home is perfect for large groups because there is plenty of space to hang out as a group and enough room to get away for alone time.

This house is beautiful, spacious, with an amazing view and the staff are excellent. The guests should take shampoo with them. There is soap, plenty of towels and sherts but no shampoo. We had a great time.
