This house is amazing. The views of the surf break are great- 5 min walk on the beach to get to the break. There are so many great spaces to relax in the shade and the pool is lovely. The bedrooms are nice and cool at night. Nancy and the caretaker couple are super responsive and helpful. Rosa cooked us dinner a few of the nights which was delicious. A few minutes walk down the beach to restaurants. Really perfect place in La Saladita.

Cannot beat the location! Close enough to restaurants but not in the hustle and bustle. Maria and her daughter are gems! Maria's cooking is out of this world and she is so accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house was perfect for our family! There was plenty of space for the 10 of us to spread out. The pool was great for the kids. Being steps away from the beach and surf break made it so that we rarely used our cars. Maria and Javier (caretakers) were wonderful. We enjoyed dinners cooked by Maria each night. We will absolutely be back soon!

A beautiful home on a beautiful beach! Very clean, well appointed. Lovely warm water, nice sand, liked beach bars in walking distance. Found it challenging to find the place - lots of small dirt roads. Thrifty car rental gave away our cars (be careful!) so we paid several thousand pesos to take a van taxi. Ultimately happy to have the driver cause we couldn’t find it in the dark. Javier was helpful once we arrived, and responded to our messages. One person was stung by a sting ray and needed medical attention - Javier was very helpful with hot water to soak, and referred us to a clinic but it was actually permanently closed (more $$ in taxi), so finally we went to the hospital in La Union for tetnus shot and antibiotics. All free of charge! Terrible smell from bathrooms but seems more the area than the house. Some cats got in the garbage one night and had a very loud fight. Otherwise the sound of the sea was relaxing, sunsets gorgeous and we loved our time at Casa Vista Mar.

My friends and I were very happy on our surf trip to Casa Vista Mar. It had a great view, good AC, and the groundskeeper and his wife, Javier and Maria, were excellent. A+!

This home is amazing in every way. The photos can not even do it justice. The ocean is always within view and the sound of the surf always present. I recommend this home to anyone and everyone!

Simply put, Casa Vista Mar is magical! If you are looking for a place to gather with family and friends, I couldn't think of anywhere better. The house is beautiful and has everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. It's a short walk to the surf break and beach restaurants. The real key to a stay here is Javier and Maria. They can help make sure your stay is perfect from arranging rides to and from the airport, to cooking delicious homemade meals, to massages at the house. You'll feel like a welcome part of their family and they will make you visit that much more special! I couldn't recommend Casa Vista Mar more!

Nancy's home was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 infants. We loved everything about the property - the location is perfect for access to surfing and the cute restaurants that Playa La Saladita has to offer. We loved the pool, the easy beach access, the large decks/patios (rooftop deck for sunset is a must!), the hang out areas, the safety of the property - everything! It was all phenomenal. We will be back for sure! Thank you Nancy!!

My brother and I chose this town on the advice of a friend who said it had great surfing. Neither of us had been to this part of Mexico before. The surfing was amazing! Great waves, every day & all day. We will definitely be going back. The house was AMAZING!!! It is literally on the beach and 5-10 minute walk to the surf break. Both the house and property were gorgeous. Its a 3 story house with an amazing roof top patio (we could have had a dance party up there, but it was just the 2 of us), we spent most of our time on the 2nd story patio eating meals, napping and drinking bear while we looked out at the ocean. 1st story patio has a pool which was great to cool down in, in the evenings and drink more beer. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and make frozen drinks. It was so peaceful at night, I never heard a boat, airplane or car noise the entire week I was there....only the wave breaking on the shore! The property caretakers, Javier and Maria, were really nice and helpful. Maria made us dinners on 5 nights that was fantastic and Javier helped us coordinate getting our COVID tests before departing. I would highly recommend Casa Vista Mar Playa Saladita if you want a relaxing vacation in an amazing house next to great surfing!

Couldn’t rave more about Casa Vista Mar! The house was perfect for our group of 9, plenty of space for everyone to sleep, play and be comfortable! Javier and Maria are the awesome care takers. Maria made us delicious dinners every night and Javier helped coordinate day trips to Zihuatenejo to shop and covid tests at the house. The pool was so refreshing and was a perfect break from the sun since it’s mostly covered. We watched the thunderstorms at night from the roof and the surf was just a short walk. The bedrooms had AC which was vital for sleeping since it was really hot and humid in July so it made it really comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we definitely want to come back!

Absolutely paradise. The oversized veranda with dining table and lounge chairs has amazing views of the surf, pelican shows and sunsets. The awning-covered pool was such a delight to cool down in. And the constant peaceful sound of the ocean is so relaxing. All the rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. It really felt like staying in a very nice “home” and not some cookie cutter “Airbnb”. My family is already planning a longer trip for next year. Oh, and the vibe at the surf break was laid back and inviting.

We loved our stay at this amazing home. The vast array of outdoor spaces (3 decks!) was the best selling point for us, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, watching sunset and star gazing. It is just a 5-minute walk from the restaurants and surf break in Saladita. Beds are very comfortable. There are many nice stylistic touches -- art, decorative lamps, and a huge outdoor dining table. Communication with Nancy & Bruce was super easy, complete with an thorough emailed welcome guide. The on-site caretakers, Maria and Javier, were wonderful people -- and, while they speak little English, Maria is a terrific cook and meals on request each night were a special treat for us (try the camarones a la diabla and the chile rellenos with cheese). Thank you, we will be back!

The photos do not do this amazing place justice! We were blown away. So wonderful, so comfortable, situated perfectly on the beach, away from the fray of the point and the restaurants. The house is lovely, the landscape surrounding the house makes it feel quiet and private, walking out in the morning and sitting in the outdoor dining/living room to drink coffee while watching the waves is going to be my new "go to vacation fantasy". The way the house is situated and landscaped makes it feel like you are in your own private eden. The pool which gets the perfect amount of sun and shade was great. I truly cannot say enough. We were a party of 6 ( 2 teens one 10 year old and 3 adults) and there was for sure enough space to all find hammocks of our own or comfy places to lounge around. We are all surfers, the walk or the paddle to the point takes about 10 minutes. (the surf is crazy crowded, only problem honestly.) but the house is a perfect place for surfers, outdoor shower, surf racks in the shade, a property dog who keeps the place feeling super safe. We have stayed in tons of Airbnbs but this is for sure at the top of the list for placement, amenities and price. Beds super comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen has everything you could need. Seriously not a single complaint possible, only compliments. Nancy was incredibly helpful and responded to us instantly for any questions. We are so grateful for the chance to stay here. You would be lucky too. The couple who caretake and live on the property behind the rental house, Maria-Isabella and Javier were beyond helpful and welcoming. Maria had a way of gently and unobtrusively coming in each day to clean and make the house even more lovely with gorgeous fresh flowers . Javier was there whenever we needed help arranging taxi's or had any questions. And Maria-Isabella is also a great cook. We should have had her cook for us more, you can arrange ahead of time with them, honestly, have her cook for you and relax. I won't make that mistake next time, we only had her cook 2 meals for us and they were both great. Practice your Spanish. Get ready to relax, bring a book and enjoy every second. We fell in love and can't wait to go back. Simply excellent.

Nancy’s place is truly a trip to paradise complete with (per availability) maid and food services. Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding their expansive 4 story dream vacation home complete with pool, roof top deck, open layout kitchen all facing a dreamy surf break. First class accommodations in rustic rural Mexico! I’d highly recommended this place.

Playa Saladita is a very beautiful place, the house is fully equipped, clean and very nice. The host is always attentive to her guests and the people in charge are very friendly. I highly recommend it

Casa Vista del Mar is simply an outstanding vacation destination. The house is on a secluded beach and is beautifully appointed. Everything you need is provided...plenty of towels, linens, beach towels, cooking essentials, games, books, lounge chairs, Boogie boards. The caretakers Javier and Maria Isabel are very accommodating, and even though they speak very little English and none of us spoke Spanish, we all managed to communicate. We hired Maria Isabel to cook dinner for us five out of the seven nights we stayed there, and she is an excellent chef! There were a few charming small restaurants on the beach that we could walk to, and the small town of Troncones, which has several restaurants is only a 25 minute drive away. This is a VERY secluded destination....no amenities nearby. The small town of Los Llanos is about 10 minutes away, but not much going on there. We had emailed Javier a grocery list prior to our arrival, and he bought everything so that we did not have to go shopping. The other alternative is to stop at one of the big super markets in Zihautenejo on your way to Playa Saladita from the airport. Definitely rent a car! We also hired a massage therapist to come to the house as well as a yoga instructor who gave us a private lesson. Everything is very reasonably priced, by American standards. There are plenty of activities, such as kayaking, cave hikes, hot springs if you can bear to tear yourself away from the gorgeous, practically private beach. The point where everyone surfs is just down the beach from the house, and it's great fun to watch the surfers in the morning, if you're not a surfer yourself. The rooftop deck is a lovely place to watch the sunset, and to star-gaze, (and to watch the sunrise if you're an early riser.) We felt like we were in Paradise the entire time we were there, and can't wait to return!

Beautiful house with pool by ocean. Felt very safe and caterers were super helpful. If you like authentic Mexican cuisine Maria is a great cook. Hiring her to cook dinner and shop for us made our stay so relaxing. Best holiday in years. Beats staying in hotels.

We loved having the expresso maker for the morning coffees before the early surf sessions. The large covered deck and dipping pool was fantastic for those lazy afternoon siestas. Would most definitely stay again!
