Our stay at Casa Milor in Playa Marsella was excellent. The place is very nice, quiet and cozy, ideal for resting and disconnecting. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach and the natural surroundings. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the service was very good. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for those looking to spend a few pleasant days by the sea.

I went with my family to celebrate my birthday, and we all had an excellent time. With the new Costanera highway, access is super easy. The house is very comfortable and clean, and it has everything you need. The hospitality is excellent, and the beach is beautiful.

This place is fantastic. Private, comfortable, beautiful scenery and the kitchen had everything. The beds were comfortable, AC's in the rooms kept us cool at night. Drinking water was provided during the stay. My group was two families, 4 adults, 4 kids. All of us loved the howler monkeys near the property and looked forward to the drive in and out seeing all of the Halloween moon crabs, birds and monkeys. The house keepers are very helpful-wonderful people. We would definitely stay here again. Ricardo was prompt to contact us about our arrival time and assisted in the final navigation so we were able to arrive without confusion. We would all love to stay here again. Wonderful home. Wonderful staff. Wonderful host/owner.

Overall an amazing experience. We had access to a private beach. Ricardo had a contact for horseback riding and we enjoyed horseback riding through the beach. The house is located near various beaches within 15 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax. The location is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time here. The hosts were friendly and made everything easy. A couple of tips for future guests: bring water shoes or beach shoes, as they make it much easier to walk in the water and along the shoreline. Also, don’t forget insect repellent to help protect yourself from mosquitoes, especially in the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Everything about this place is spectacular. If you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world and enjoy an absolutely stunning view, this is the home for you! You can watch the tides change, see the fishermen come in, and watch their families help with the daily catch. You can also easily walk down to the local restaurant. Honestly, you don’t have to leave the property at all—in fact, it was incredibly hard to check out! The house layout is perfect! Two spacious bedrooms, upstairs and two generous bedroom downstairs, and plenty of family area!! Tons of wild life around - 💚

The surroundings are spectacular, ideal for unwinding and enjoying the sea in total tranquility. Ricardo is a super host: attentive, friendly, and always mindful of every detail to make your experience perfect. Likewise, the gentlemen in charge of looking after the house were very helpful, respectful, and willing to help us at all times. It's definitely a place we'd be happy to go back to. Can't say enough good things about Ricardo's place. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. But the location was even more remarkable. It requires a 4x4 to get to, but if you're used to travelling in Central America, it's nothing out of the ordinary. But once you get there, it's totally worth it. Playa Marsella is stunning. The beach is pristine, clean, and quiet. We never saw more than 5 people on the whole beach at any time. We loved visiting San Juan Del Sur during the day, but were happy to retreat back to our quiet little oasis every night to watch sunsets or wake up in the morning without the noise and chaos of the busy city. And finally, the staff that works at the house is incredible. So helpful and responsive. Melvin and his wife were so lovely to have around. They came every day to thoroughly clean the house and were always available if we needed anything. Can't say enough good things about our trip and this place. 100% recommend

This place was perfect for our family and friends. It is a bit isolated and really quiet, the beach is amazing and really calm as there aren’t a lot of people. Note that it is quite a bit far from the center of san juan and plan groceries accordingly. The restaurant at the end of the beach is amazing. If you want quietness and a peaceful place for family and friends it’s perfect. Ricardo was great abd answered really quickly. Also the house staff was really helpful for organizing taxi and helping around the house. The house was cleaned everyday! Would stay there again!

It is a very beautiful and comfortable house. It has a very nice back yard and we found everything we needed during our trip. It’s very close to the beach also.

We spent for the second time, 2 extraordinary weeks at Casa Milor and we will come back because this place is magnificent on a very beautiful and quiet beach surrounded by nature and its animals. Ricardo and Elisabeth are very responsive and attentive hosts, the caretakers Melvin and Marcielle are very professional and pleasant, they are very attentive and come every day to clean and do the dishes. Ricardo was one of 4 hosts during our month long vacation. He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, any issue he had resolved instantly. Can’t say enough about what a great host he was.

The house is tucked away in the forest, so you feel completely surrounded by nature, but at the same time you have super easy access to Playa Marsella. The path to the beach is very convenient. We loved starting the day with the sounds of the forest and then going down to enjoy the ocean. Marsella’s beach access was truly great, and this house is ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful stay close to the water.

The location of the house allowed us to enjoy a time of true rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and with a lot of privacy. Although the beach is a bit far away, it is accessible and offers a quiet and private atmosphere.

We wanted a few days to relax and enjoy some sun. We were able to do just that. You have the beach close up and the pool with outside showers near by.Ricardo's house is just like the pictures. You have great space to eat outdoor and indoors. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

Beautiful house and very clean, very important for my family, communication with Ricardo was very good. The only annoyance was many flies in the kitchen and a plague of grasshoppers that invaded us at night and we could not enjoy the 2 nights outside, I think it was the time of those insects, and as a recommendation if they allowed visitors it would be excellent. Otherwise, a beautiful property.

We love this place, beachfront, with a pool and all the amenities possible. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the kitchen has all the tools to be comfortable. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely return!! Thank you.

We loved that it has rooms on the first and second floors, the beach feels very private. Enrique was always attentive to everything. The people who take care of the place and do the cleaning are very kind. We'll definitely be back!

Casa Milor is a great place for families. We shared a vacation with friends and had lots of space to relax and enjoy the property together and private space to wind down. The views are fantastic. Ricardo was helpful and prompt in his responses. Melvin and Muriel the groundskeepers and cleaners were very friendly and did tidying daily. Recommended !

Casa Milor is a beautiful home in the perfect location. Playa Marsella feels like private beach you have all to yourself! The fisherman are super friendly and have fresh fish available everyday. The fauna was the best part we had a family of mono congos (monkeys) visiting every morning to eat the olives from the olive tree, we saw turtles at night and beautiful birds. This place is a true paradise!

We enjoyed staying at Ricardo’s place. The house was spotless cleaned and spacious, it made us feel right at home. We felt secured within the gate community. The surroundings were lush green full of trees and the private beach access to the Marsella bay was a treat. We definitely come again and highly recommend this home to others.

Ricardo's place was fantastic for our family of 6 from Texas (2 adults and 4 kids). The front of the house opens up to the jungle, and we loved waking up to the sound of howler monkeys—it felt like a real adventure! Out back, the sunsets over the beach were breathtaking, and we spent every evening soaking it all in. The pool was pristine, and the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned daily, which we really appreciated traveling with kids. The caretaker went above and beyond, helping us arrange a taxi and setting up horseback riding on the beach for the whole family. We were also relieved to find a great restaurant at the far end of the beach—it gave us peace of mind knowing that even if we didn’t make it to the grocery store in time, we’d still be covered. Overall, Ricardo's place was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families!

Traveled from Washington DC for a local wedding. Spent a few days at this place to start the week. The house is perfect for groups or families. Situated RIGHT on the beach. Spent a lot of time in the pool, grilling meals, and looking out over the water. Will do it again next year.

Casa Milor was excellent. The beach was beautiful and very private. The water is a beautiful turquoise color that I have only seen in the Caribbean. We wish we had stayed longer. We will be back in the future for a longer stay.

Villa Tortuga is beautiful, peaceful and the location is great. Great service, staff is immediately available with help. My husband got injured in the ocean and there was a doctor on site that helped him immediately. Also we were able to order food to be delivered at the house. The ocean view and access is incredible. The house is private and therefore a little difficult to get there, much easier with a 4x4.

We loved our stay at the Villa Tortuga on Playa Maderas. The host, Dr. Wilfredo, was extremely helpful and communicative both before and during our stay. He helped arrange transport from Managua, assisted with an early check-in, and responded immediately at all hours during our stay when we had questions or issues. The property itself is magnificent. Villa Tortuga is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is private, secluded, backs up to the jungle and has an unbelievable view of the pacific ocean and the "Shark fin Rock". This is a perfect spot for sunsets. The Villa had AC, hot water, WiFi, a lounge pool, rocking chairs, 2 hammocks, cutlery, pots and pans and its own yoga gazebo higher up the hill. Beach access is a short walk and there are restaurants and bars on the beach in both directions and a surf shop (ask for Orlando!). We loved our stay highly recommend it for anyone visiting this area and looking for seclusion and natural beauty.

There are no words to express how wonderful Casa Millor is. It was like being in your own private paradise. The house is BEAUTIFUL, really nice open space, super clean, super spacious for my group of 7 with a spectacular view, private beach and the pool was just perfect, my kids love it! We were planning to stay only 3 days, but as soon as we arrived my kids begged me to stay one more night and Ricardo was very kind to say yes right away and was always available to answer any questions. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. Melvin and his family were extremely polite and very helpful. They welcomed us with great courtesy and were always attentive if we needed anything. Melvin even went out of his way to help my husband with a flat tire. And I also felt very safe having them around. We feel very protected. This beautiful gem is better than any 5 star hotel anywhere. This place made my family vacation in Nicaragua unforgettable. I can't wait to return to Casa Millor on my next trip. GRACIAS!

My partner and I had a magical 3 night stay in this stunning villa. Beautiful location, just a flight of stairs and you are on the beach. Beach cafes nearby. The Villa is spotless and check in and check out was very efficient. The infinity pool Overlooking the beach for one of the highlights for us….. highly recommend this dreamy villa….Playa Maderas great for surfing too ☀️💖 🏄🏻‍♂️

The villa is even better in person than in the pictures. Not shown in the photos are paths throughout the property surrounded by natural beauty. There are howler monkeys that hang out by the back deck. The walk down to the beach and restaurants is breathtaking. The sound of the waves crashing and birds singing as we watched the sunset from the pool was enchanting. The support staff is very responsive. We miss it already and hope to return some day.

A beautiful villa with incredible views in an area that felt like a Nature preserve. The pool advertised in the listing was a major factor in our decision but unfortunately, the manager of the neighborhood told us we could not access the pool. My son broke down in tears, and then the manager told us he would make an exception and let us use it. I think the host and the manager of the neighborhood need to communicate with each other to figure out exactly what is allowed. Other than that the place was great.

We LOVED staying at Ricardo's house in Playa Maderas The house was goegeous with spectacular ocean views. The kitchen, bedrooms and accomodations were top notch. And nothing can beat sunset in the infinity pool. You are just steps from Maderas beach! The house manager Will was always available for any needs we had. This is a must stay in Maderas. Can't wait to get back!

What a beautiful place! I really enjoyed it, it's the place to relax and connect with nature. The whole place was clean, tidy and spotless. IT HAS A SPECTACULAR VIEW, the sunrise and especially the sunset looks so beautiful . We thank Ricardo and all his team for their excellent and instant attention. It definitely became one of my favorite places, I'll be back soon.

Amazing stay with beautiful view. Everything was clean, the front desk was very helpful. They helped us with anything we needed at any time and responded super quickly. I would definitely love to stay here again. Just be careful with the wildlife. There was a Scorpio in my bedroom which definitely scared me but it’s to be expected since it’s located in a place with lots of wildlife. The only down side was that it was about a 30 min car ride to San Juan del Sur. We were able to make it there with a small car because the roads are all getting fixed thankfully.

Beach front gorgeous sunsets.

This property is without a doubt one of the best in SJDS. The house itself is modern, clean and very comfortable. AC works great, beds are comfortable and the pool and outside area is absolutely beautiful. You are steps from the beach, which is fine white sand, quiet, clean, and generally calm and easily swimmable. This is not a surf-beach or a tourist hotspot. The beach is a beautiful walk, the ocean and pool are always available, and there are hiking trails nearby. Fishermen pull their boats on shore in the early evening and are willing to sell their catch which can go directly on BBQ! Melvin, the caretaker and his family live on the property and are always available if you need anything or have any questions. This is a huge benefit for flexibility when it comes to checking in and out. They also clean the property daily and tend to it with love that shows. Ricardo, the host is also fantastic and VERY responsive. We will be back for sure.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Delfin, the best sunsets we have seen at any places we’ve stayed, photos are very accurate, so nice to wake up with a coffee and view. The beach is very short walk with some steep steps, but that was okay for us. There were 2 beach areas both with restaurants and surf rentals/lessons. We had a great last meal at Juanita’s and enjoyed the sunset walking back. Lots of private areas on the beach - very secluded and perfect area if you are looking for a relaxing time - we spent most days in the infinity pool as it was just too good not to! Only downfall was no shade in the afternoon, but looked like they are working on getting some shade there. Thanks so much Ricardo, we have already recommended to friends and family for a peaceful beach retreat with great view.

Our family (5 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Villa Tortuga for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience. You can not beat the view, the beach is just a 5 minute walk away and it feels very private despite being in a complex of multiple villas. There is lots of wildlife around, like howler monkeys and geckos. The staff were absolutely amazing, keeping the villas, pools and grounds well-cleaned. 10/10 experience, can't wait to come back some day!

this is awesome place with amazing views. it is just surreal. great to disconnect to be in contact with the nature. Friendly staff. the beach is was amazing as well. Getting there was quiet an adventure. would recommend a 4x4 vehicle. Once up there the Seabreeze will keep you comfortable.

This house was perfect for 4 couples. Playa Marsella is a beautiful beach with fewer people and a great little resturaunt. Melvin and Maisel kept the house clean and we fully enjoyed our experience.

Just make sure to bring a 4x4 and enjoy the stay.

Loved our stay!

We loved at our stay. It was a tree house at the beach. It had rustic accents with all the amenities we needed. We were very comfortable and felt very safe. We’re looking forward to staying at Villas Maderas again. I’ve never experienced better internet in Nicaragua and we had 3 people working remotely simultaneously. We never had any issues or latency. The view is spectacular from multiple parts of the home including the pool. All the bedrooms are upstairs and you access them via an external staircase but there is a full bathroom downstairs which was very convenient. There is good lighting everywhere. Whenever we needed something, the concierge was very responsive. Everyone was kind and helpful. This is a must stay!

Villa Collibri was excellent with plenty of room, a bathroom in every bedroom, plus it was very clean with everything we needed, and the natural beauty was absolutely stunning! So stunning that I considered making an offer on the property, and perhaps building one nearby. My family had a great time and will surely return. Ricardo was on the grounds and came to see us on the final day. He was very responsive and friendly with a lot of experience to share from his many years spent in the area. 5 stars all the way!

The house is spectacular just for the fact of facing the sea. It is super well equipped from the kitchen to the rooms. The best part is the pool area, there is enough space to go in a large group (there is even talker for you to play your music from your cell phone). Super great recommending! They won't regret it 👌🏼

This was a wonderful stay. My kids and I had lots of fun hanging by the beach. When it got darked, we used outside showers and hopped in the pool. Great views, great home. There’s a restaurant in walkable distance with amazing food & service.

This place is great, the beach is great, the staff were helpful. The kitchen was moderately well furnished but only had salt - if you plan to cook anything, make sure you bring all your ingredients I including oil, pepper, etc. the sunset views were amazing and everything was very well kept

A great place to stay for Month. Beach felt like a private beach. The house was perfect. The people that maintain the property are great humans and were very attentive to our needs and supported in making our trip amazing. Ricardo was quick to respond and gave us many suggestions on services and things to do. All around an epic host and property.

Amazing views. Saw monkeys right outside. I would love to stay here again in the future. The outdoor spaces are beautiful all around the property. We got in house massages that were the best I've ever had. 5 stars gracias!
