3BR Villa in San Miguel de Allende

Danielle

Excellent, 9 months ago

Absolutely amazing stay. The place is gorgeous. Photos don’t do it justice.

Excellent family experience, the house is beautiful, comfortable and very well located. Spectacular service and a very proactive owner.

We had the most wonderful time staying here! Everything was perfect- Guadalupe was so friendly and her breakfasts were fabulous! Everything was clean and the house felt very authentic and was very comfortable. The location was incredible! The only slight negative was some mosquitoes- some people in our group had a few bites, so bring bug repellant if you plan on using the outdoor living room. The plants were beautiful and overall, everything was absolutely wonderful.

We are still talking about how beautiful your home was, it was such a breath of fresh air. Her son Austin was helpful and ready to greet us as soon as we arrived, Guadalupe had wonderful margaritas and guac ready for us. Everything was clean and freshly changed out each day. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was breathtaking. The area feels private but is just minutes walk from the Plaza, very safe and easy to access.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Piña. Aleida was very responsive and thorough with directions and house guides and Guadalupe made our arrival very welcoming. Other than the house being very beautiful and just as pictured, it is located on a very popular street known for its amazing views of the parish which you can also see from the many terrazas in the house. The casa was a peaceful getaway from the bustle of the streets. We enjoyed walking to La Colmena for fresh bread and coffee in the mornings and back to the plaza in the evening to admire the parish and mariachis. And most importantly, Guadalupe’s breakfast every morning was the highlight of our day. She was such a joy and my littles enjoyed her warm candor. Lorena also kept the rooms very tidy and clean and assisted with our laundry. We plan to return soon! This place is a real gem.

This home is a slice of heaven! You're located in the heart of San Miguel, but after entering through the wooden doors, you're greeted with the most gorgeous garden courtyard and an absolutely serene and charming respite. The indoor/outdoor living room is stunning (as is the rooftop deck!), and what makes this home truly spectactular is the phenomenal staff. Guadalupe prepares delicious freshly cooked breakfast and lunch, customized to your requests, and the housekeeper not only cleans the house daily, but also takes care of your personal laundry. We felt so pampered and would definitely return to this gem of a place!

We had a wonderful stay in San Miguel due largely in part to this exceptional home. The photographs do not do it justice-- simply stunning inside and out! We found the location to be convenient to sights and restaurants and shopping, and were able to walk everywhere we went. Guadalupe and Lorena could not have been more accomodating and provided excellent meals and service during our stay. Austin was very helpful when our arrival was delayed and was able to greet our guest who traveled separately before the rest of our party arrived. We would absolutely stay here again!

From our first communication, Austin made us feel confident that we had made a spectacular choice in Aldama 8. We felt like we were living in an honest-to-goodness villa, reflected in the architecture, furnishings, and cooking and cleaning services offered by Guadalupe and Lorena. Nacho, the gardener, made the whole house bloom inside and out. Everything was above perfect, down to the (unsolicited) TWO bottles of champagne and “50” balloons to mark our two couples’ wedding anniversaries. Nowhere could have been more conveniently located to the Jardín; everything from Juarez Park to the Fábrica Aurora was easily accessible, including all the best restaurants SMA has to offer. Our host was attentive without being intrusive, and he was immediateaccessible when we had a question or request. We have visited San Miguel de Allende more than ten times, and none of our previous accommodations could approach the many wonders of this perfect place and all it offers!

I can't imagine a better location than this one—it's absolutely perfect. The house itself is stunning, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I discovered the two bathrooms and two closets in the master suite—this might just be my new favorite luxury! If this place is available for your dates, don’t hesitate—book it immediately. Staying here is like stepping into THE postcard of San Miguel. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

My husband and I are frequent users of AirBNB - and usually for extended periods of time. This was one of our best experiences. From beginning to end, from the host, Austin, to the incredible staff - I have nothing but good things to say. Guadalupe and Lorena - who cook and clean - could not have been kinder or welcoming. The location is - right in the thick of things - walkable to absolutely everything that makes San Miguel - San Miguel... yet the house is an oasis of tranquility. Great great experience.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and comfortable home with lots of quaint areas and attention to detail. Since there’s no AC, we could use quieter fans in bedrooms, and one or two swiveling fans in the open space sitting area. Some bugs and misquotes, which should be expected in an older house. Staff are just wonderful, Señora Guadalupe is sweet, warm, and extremely friendly, and her guacamoles are to die for!! Great central location to Centro historico and everything downtown has to offer, amazing restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely return here.

We had a fabulous few days in this wonderful villa right next to the heart of Centro. You go in through the doors into pure peace and quiet, with beautiful well-tended gardens and the lovely dripping fountain shown in the photos. The bedrooms and the outdoor living room, as well as the rooftop terrace and the cactus gardens are 1000% charming. We did not use inside at all (the indoor living room and dining room), nor did we really use the kitchen, other than to chill drinks and make coffee! Guadalupe looked after breakfast for us (fabulous every day) and cleaned up the kitchen daily. The other woman (sorry forgot her name) did daily cleaning and did our laundry for us. Neither got in our way. We were an hour early, but were easily let in - and Austin (the son) came over to orient us, which we truly appreciated. Its a magical place in a very magical town. Drinks watching the setting sun, with the church bells cannot be matched. Art and decor is as fab as the gardens!

Casa Piña is absolutely amazing - from the location to the beauty of it! So clean and comfortable, and you can walk everywhere since you are located right in the heart of town! A real treasure! 😊

See all those 5-star reviews? Believe them. Casa Piña's location can't be topped, with easy walking distance to everything in el Centro San Miguel. It's on one of the most photographed streets in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a beautiful 3-level villa with three bedrooms, two sitting rooms and two dining rooms, all facing an open, landscaped courtyard with central fountain. The management and staff--Aleida, Austin, Lorena, and Guadalupe--were all incredibly cordial, flexible, and eager to please. Austin was happy to give us suggestions for choosing restaurants from the large number of choices within walking distance. Guadalupe made incredible breakfasts to order, with fresh OJ and fruits, even omelets with huitlacoche, a local delicacy. Beds and linens were all high quality and there was plenty of storage space. Except for the frequent and early church bells for which San Miguel is famous, Casa Piña is a quiet oasis in a beautiful, walkable, picturesque city. 10 stars!

This casa is amazing and could not be in a better location. Everything is within walking distance! The house is more beautiful than the photos, and it is extremely comfortable! Our favorite spot was the outdoor living area! Breakfast outdoors was a delight! Will be repeat guests. 😊

This is a lovely home in the Centro which could not be any more convenient to restaurants, galleries, etc and it is full of beautiful things collected by the owner. The beds were extremely comfortable, the linens wonderful. I forgot to ask about air conditioning, but the nights were cool so really unnecessary. Good fans were available if desired. We enjoyed breakfast cooked by the staff who were very kind and accommodating. Each day our beds were made and towels replaced. Aleida and her son Austin were accessible and always responded quickly to any questions we had. Bring shampoo or buy locally. Hairdryers are available. We would love to stay here again!

This is our second stay at Casa Piña. We stayed a week the first time. Staying a month was the best gift we all could have given ourselves. Our little travel cohort of three stayed the entire time. Also a couple of our sisters came through for a week and another dear friend for 10 days. The staff was flexible, responsive to our changing plans and dietary needs, and the food amazing. A plumbing issue was resolved quickly. I especially can’t say enough good things about this rental’s location. Thank you, Austin, Leonor and Aleida. Special thanks to Lupe, Lorena and Ignacio! ¡Esten bien y nos vemos en el futuro!

We had the most magical time staying with Aleida! We were in San Miguel for a wedding and the home was absolutely GORGEOUS and in the middle of everything - all of the events were just a short walk away and we even hosted a breakfast for a few friends the day after the wedding because the home is so beautiful and central. Aleida's lovely team includes a housekeeper and chef who were both an absolute joy. Aleida reached out prior to our stay to confirm which days we might like to eat at the house and every meal was homemade to perfection. DELICIOUS! Our rooms were spotless when we returned from sightseeing and events each day which made it feel as though we were staying in our very own boutique luxury hotel. We can't recommend this property more highly! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you, Aleida!

This place is amazing. The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of San Miguel, just a block or two from the main square, yet when you're inside it's a peaceful oasis. We were there during the beginning of Semana Santa when there was a ton of activity going on, and I remember walking outside with our friends and thinking "omg, I had no idea this was going on right outside our door". The house is beautiful and beyond relaxing. We were there with another family that has kids (as do we) and there was plenty of room to lounge outside while the kids had a blast playing in the amazing yard. The host was great - he (Aleida's son) greeted us as we pulled up and helped us maneuver into the garage. He had a pitcher a margaritas and chips and guac waiting for us. The private cook made us delicious chilaquiles, eggs, fruit, and fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast each morning. I mean, what more can I say! Highly recommend this place, and will 100% be staying there again.

We booked this place for 3 couples. We had no idea it would be as beautiful and charming as it was. I almost dont want the word to get out so that it will be available to us to come back to....JUST INCREDIBLE IN EVERY WAY Guadalupe and the other lady that assisted her were amazing. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning and planned for a welcome appetizer on arrival. It was so perfect that we didnt even go out for dinner. I cannot fully explain the charm and beauty of this place. So serene and inviting So many places to sit and take in different vantage points and RIGHT in the central part of town. We walked a couple blocks 2 times to go to Luna bar at the Rosewood hotel which is another landmark this place is close to. Aleida also provided us with information and drivers when we needed transportation to Zandunga and wineries outside town. Thank you for everything!

We loved our time at Aleida’s beautiful home. It was a large gracious space with several ambiances to hang out and relax solo or visit with friends. We traveled with another couple and felt like their was plenty of space. Beyond loved the outdoor living room with the fireplace which we enjoyed every night! The cook, Guadalupe was darling and makes a super tasty guacamole and cocktails! The only callout that I would mention is the bathrooms are outdated and the water pressure in the shower needs improvement. Otherwise the location is amazing, the host was very responsive, the house was so peaceful and relaxing and we look forward to staying at Aleida’s home on our next visit to SMA.

My boyfriend and our parents stayed here for several days. It was even better than we expected. It was one block from the city center, with lots of food and drink options. The inside of the house is incredible with all the original details and decorations. We were met with snacks and margaritas but the two women who run the house. They were so lovely. We opted to have them make us breakfast each day, which was perfect for us. I hope to come back again someday soon!

Our 4 night stay at Aleida’s place was perfect. Starting from the check in incl. some house made Margaritas to the location of the house (right in the middle of SDM) everything worked very well. Terre and Lore (the housekeepers) did a wonderful job in preparing the daily breakfast and offered also to cook lunch for us. Since we attended a weeding in SDM we had some cloth that needed ironing and we asked for an iron, but Lore offered to iron the things for us instead. The location of the house is absolutely perfect, it’s right in the middle of SDM and you have access to the main square with the cathedral and nice restaurants just around the block. Overall we recommend this place without hesitation and we plan to come back!

Casa Pina is a beautifully appointed and designed old home with a colonial feel. The location could not be better, directly in the middle of Centro; even so , the house is very quiet and peaceful. The ensuite bedrooms all have comfortable beds and pillows, each being on different levels for privacy. All bedrooms overlook the main courtyard and fountain. The rooftop patio is a wonderful space where we enjoyed watching the sunsets. The main outdoor living room/dining room, also open to the patio, had a fantastic wood burning fireplace we used every day. Enough cannot be said about the staff, Tere and Lorena cooked beautiful meals for us, provided us with snacks and beverages to enjoy throughout the day, and kept Casa Pina neat and tidy. Everything about our stay was 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at the property with our three children and my husbands parents. The house is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living spaces during our trip. The breakfasts cooked by Teresa were delicious and were an easy and enjoyable start to our day. Austin, Aleida's son, was also super helpful during our stay in recommending an emergency dentist for my mother-in-law and overall just good tips/advice for our trip. Would love to return in the future!

The most beautiful street in San Miguel de Allende, with an interior garden and courtyard to die for. Art lovers, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to enjoy the fresh squeezed orange juice and huevos rancheros by Teresa! We also arrived after a very long trip and knew we wouldn’t want to hunt for a restaurant that night. Teresa had handmade guacamole and a pitcher of margaritas ready to go, followed by a dinner of fantastic Chicken Mole. We almost cried. What an amazing way to turn around a long day and kick off a special graduation trip for our 3 adult sons!

Perfect stay, perfect location and a 'vacation within a vacation' with Tere and Lorena taking remarkable care of everyone! Every day a new adventure without having to leave the property! From the friend hat-seller and guitar/violin players on your doorstep to the remarkable parade of weddings, quinceañeras, religious processions (fireworks!) and groups of all sorts or people just strolling by, perhaps on their way to Benito Juarez park or the Rosewood (both close by), there is a wonderful, never ending view of life in San Miguel right in front of you! The most enjoyment I have ever had in an AirBnB location bar none!

I can’t recommend this home enough. The open air, multiple spaces for indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining as well as the caring staff made our stay exceptional.

Hosting at the Piña house was the best part of our vacation, we form memories with my family that we will never forget. The house and the treatment we received were excellent, I hope we can come back more frequently. Doña Tere and Lorena made us feel like we are part of the family, they kept everything clean and tidy. The location of the house is unbeatable since each member of the family could go out to the plaza or restaurants without using a car. This house is a relic. We were lucky to be welcomed by Aleida, she is the kindest person in the world. I think I can't say enough of the memories we have of San Miguel de Allende thanks to us choosing each Piña.

This house is gorgeous!!! Staying here was a gracious pleasure. The courtyards & rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The master suite has enough room to stow away everything (a first in our experience). There are many mature plants, a treat for a plant-lover like me. We liked Teresa's healthful & delicious cooking. I loved sitting in the sun beside the fountain, soaking in the atmosphere. The open-to-the-air living & dining area is particularly lovely & enjoyable. And the location is superb! We loved our stay here!!!

Absolutely enchanting! From the minute you walk through the door into the gorgeous courtyard you feel immersed in colonial Mexico. The house is beautiful - even nicer than the pictures. And Teresa and Lorena went out of their way to make sure we felt completely pampered and could not possibly have been more accommodating. And the location is absolutely perfect. You are just steps from the Jardin, the cathedral and all the wonderful shops and restaurants in the Centro (without any daunting hills to climb). The best AirBnB ever. The only downside is you will never want to leave!

The best house we've ever rented through Airbnb! Gorgeous old time Spanish-like property in the heart of that beautiful town! Amazingly taken care of and decorated! Very spacious 3 bedrooms with baths. Master suit has two bathrooms and a private terrace! Beautiful veranda/open family room is perfect for a large group gatherings, or just relaxing with the soothing sound of the fountain. Upper terrace has a mesmerizing views of a sunset and the church at night time. Having a garage there was a huge plus for us. And you have your own cook and maid! These ladies were very sweet, and the food they served was so delicious. The host was great, very friendly and easy to deal with! The entire experience of this house and the town was so great that we didn't want to go back home. It's worth every penny! We will definitely come back and stay there again!
