Excellent place, very cozy

Super nice, clean and quiet house in the center. We arrived in Izamal on the Mayan train and the drive to the house takes 15 minutes max. We were greeted by Gabriel, who was always very friendly and helpful. Everything is close and you can walk around without a problem, they offer two bicycles to use, it is a very safe city, we would definitely return to Casa Vicenta.

Excellent place. I would definitely stay there again. Communication was always constant and friendly. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 minors and we had everything we needed and more. Oh, and the best part is that they're Pet Friendly 🤩🙌🏻🐾

This property was great and we enjoyed our stay. The host and the property manager were both very friendly and accommodating on very short notice. There is a large garden area for grilling or lounging, a shaded area next to a pool, and lots of space and rooms to accommodate a large family trip to Izamal. It’s only a few blocks from the convent and the attractions of the city center.

Great stay!

Beautiful place in a great location on the edge of Ishamal. Lovely outdoor areas and nice bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms. Beautifully decorated. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and responsive. Unfortuantely, the AC in the kids bedroom was out when we were there, so it was a little hot to sleep. The roosters woke up a few of us, but it felt like part of the experience. Bring ear plugs and most people will be fine. We loved it!

We had a lovely stay at la Casa Vicenta! The pool and outdoor space are truly wonderful and the whole place was comfortable for two families (4 adults and 3 kids). The location is a short walk to the center of town and close to a grocery store. The house is unique and has lots of lovely features. There was plenty of parking space. One thing I'd mention is that the main house did have a pretty strong musty smell when we arrived but we were able to mostly air it out and actually didn't spend much time in the living room so it wasn't a big deal. This was our second time staying here (we were here three years ago before there was a pool) and I'd certainly return again.

What a beautiful home! My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Vicenta! Our kids had a great time playing in the pool, and the grownups enjoyed relaxing by the pool. It’s in a good location- we walked all around Izamal from the house. The chickens nearby get pretty noisy in the mornings, but otherwise it is an amazing place! Leisly was very welcoming and quick to message back, and Gabriel met us at the house to show us around and give us the keys. Thank you so much to the Casa Vicenta team for a wonderful stay in Izamal!!

What a spectacular home this is! The best Airbnb on our Mexican trip. So many loving touches and attention to detail, wish we would have stayed longer. Easy to walk to town, safe neighbourhood. Just wished the rooster next door would have been a bit more quiet.

Of all the houses on our trip, Casa Vicenta is the one we liked the most! It has a lovely nostalgic touch! Super comfortable, very good size and with very good beds, but the mega plus is the outdoor space: the pool is beautiful, the patios are very well-kept and private parking is very convenient. Gabriel welcomed us and was super attentive and thoughtful during our vacation. I want to come back. Thank you

My gal pals and I enjoyed the relaxing vibe at Casa Vicente! We only booked for one night, but could have happily luxuriated there for a week. The pool was delicious!! We easily walked to the town center, to restaurants, shops and the local sites. Casa Vicente was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed. And Gabriel was super accommodating. Muchísimas gracias!!

The house is beautiful, the photos are short of what it is, a large place with the main things to spend the day. Very good service and available at what times. If you want to get away from the city, it is a great option.

The place is simply perfect. Beautiful house with a cosy pool and exterior tables. We wished we could have stayed longer. The check in and communication with the host was excellent and they were very flexible. The house was extremely clean and well kept. Location is also perfect as you are 5 min walking distance from the center. Will stay again for sure!

Casa Vicenta is a design gem! The house is simply superb. My family went for christmas and they took care of every single detail! I highly recommend Casa Vicenta and Izamal for the seasoned traveler. As the house is in a real Izamal neighborhood, 3 minutes from the Main Street, you will have to deal with the realities of Latin America. Thanks to Leisly Maria and Gabriel for such a wonderful experience!

We could not stay at Casa Vicenta because we were touched by the contingency but Leilsy's attitude in front of the reservation was spectacular.

Leisly Maria’s place is lovely. We particularly liked the separate guesthouse for privacy. Leisly also left us a basket of fruit and there was potable water available. Gabriel was very kind and gave us a tour of the house. We did hear the neighborly rooster but he didn’t bother us. We recommend Leisly Maria’s home without hesitating!

This house was a lovely surprise. We expected a nice property based on the previous reviews and found that it was nevertheless much nicer than we had expected. The woodwork, the beautiful tile floors, the bed coverings and towels, the branded shampoo and soap, the outdoor patio, the well-equipped kitchen, the chandeliers, the fresh flowers and big basket of fruit…. everything was wonderful, down to the last detail. I would recommend this to even the most picky traveler.

We stayed at Casa Vicenta for two nights & loved it. The pictures really don’t do the home its due justice-it’s even much nicer in person! There is plenty of room to spread out & make yourself comfortable. With the exception of one bedroom, all of the ACs cooled efficiently well, the showers had hot water, & the kitchen was adequately equipped for basic cooking. We loved the long table in the dining room for playing board games at night & the back patio in the evening is perfect for sitting outside & sipping your favorite brew. We found everything we wanted to see in Izamal to be within walking distance of Casa Vicenta & appreciated the secure area to park our vehicle while we toured on foot. There were four in our party & all four of us voted that should we return to Izamal, Casa Vicenta has our first vote!

Casa Vicenta is beautiful and we had a nice weekend! We look forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay! Izamal is a wonderful and truly Mexican town. The casa wowed all 6 of us. Beds comfortable, kitchen equipped, good WiFi, clean and a beautiful architure and design. Location was about as far away from town as we wanted to walk with two kids in tow. Hospitality was very attentive even considering the language barrier. Would recommend!

Beautiful house, very pleasant to stay in. The little touches like the fruit basket are very nice. The bedding is of excellent quality and it is very pleasant to be able to relax in the hammocks available to guests.

Our family of three had a wonderful stay at Casa Vicenta. The place was very spacious and had so many beautiful touches. We loved having breakfast in the garden and slept well in the comfy beds. The house is located about a 10 min walk from the center of town. We’d definitely recommend it and would come back for sure.

This home is beautiful, the decoration is tasteful and original, nicely appointed furniture and decor, very nice patio, great for the morning coffee. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the sights you must visit in Izamal. Leisly helped us contacting a local guide, Julio took us on wonderful daily tours of the city, cenotes, a natural reserve and visits with amazing local craftsmen. We liked it so much that are already planning another stay in Casa Vicenta!
