The place was safe and clean. The location is fantastic.

The place is beautiful and just as it appears in the photos. 🤍 The house is super complete and very comfortable; 8 people can easily stay without any problem. An added value is that they leave details that make the stay much more practical, such as oil, rice, paper towels and purified water. In addition, the barbecue is super large and fully equipped. The beach is beautiful, with a super calm and quiet sea, and there is a lot to do. The service was great, and everything made our stay even better. 100% recommended. This place is definitely very much worth checking out. 🌊🤍

Great place , beautiful views

Great stay at Shankton Place. Check-in and check-out were painless, with clear instructions and zero hassle. The view is the thing you’ll remember. We kept stopping to look at it. The pool was the other highlight. We spent way more hours in it than planned, mostly because of that view. And the beach is a five-minute walk, which we didn’t expect and ended up using almost every day. Five bedrooms and four baths meant nobody was tripping over anyone. The area is beautiful and the whole place felt welcoming from the minute we walked in. Host was easy to reach. Would stay again without thinking twice.

My family and I had a wonderful time . The view was absolutely amazing…. Ocean view from Main floor and upper rooms as well. The place was very clean and had everything we needed it. The hostess were very responsive and getting to the beach I loved it walking through a little tropical jungle… easy walk to and from the beach .

It's a place with a really beautiful view and perfect for resting. If my budget allowed it, I would love to stay much longer.

A great place to spend some 'away time'! The house is very cozy, clean and fully corresponds to the description. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the atmosphere allows you to really relax and unwind. The hosts are attentive and always ready to help. Clifton Rhys’s was amazing. What I enjoyed the most was the 5 minute walk to Redonda Bay. Super private and quite beach, no need to go anywhere else. The home is located in a great area immersed in nature. I recommend the home adding photos of the surrounding. When you arrive you will be amazed at how immersed in nature you are. The home is super comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor. We saw monkeys in the morning during breakfast all you hear is the aound of the ocean which was so peaceful. Host is super accomadating and responsive. If you are looking for a place to get away and stay away, this is the place!

We really loved the house. It had an increíble view of the water and the infinity pool is a great place to watch an amazing sunset. Google maps kind of routed us to a different entrance(I think because of the new roads) but we were able to find easily with Waze and once we got there everyone was very accommodating.

One of the nicest AirBnbs we have ever stayed in. The house is just beautiful and the view is spectacular! We loved watching the birds from the porch and even saw monkeys nearby. There are many beautiful beaches nearby and the nearest is just a 5-10 minute walk away. We also loved the pool!

Excellent place to go and relax. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. The host was also extremely responsive—super fast and helpful throughout our stay. However, be aware that there are several stairs to get to the house, and going to the beach definitely involves some cardio. This is important to consider if you are traveling with strollers, people with disabilities, or anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Everything's perfect

Great and unique house at our favorite beach resort in Managua. The house sits over a gorgeous little bay and you can watch the waves crash over them all day. New highway makes access a breeze and San Juan Del Sur is now only a quick 30-minute drive away.

A magical place with a spectacular view and a super cozy house.

Just got back from the most incredible stay in Nicaragua and I can honestly say everything was perfect for our family from start to finish. We travelled with a three year old who absolutely loved hearing the waves crashing on the rocks below and also spotting monkeys from the deck 🐒. The location was amazing — just a short walk to the private beach. There are definitely some stairs to get down from the parking area and the shoreline, but honestly, the little workout made it even better. By the time you reach the ocean, that first jump into the water feels extra refreshing and so worth it 🌊 Beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere, great service, and even a built-in leg workout — I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend! 🇳🇮🏝️💛

What a beautiful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the house was very clean and the AC in the rooms were great. Just a short walk to the beach and it feels at times like you have the entire beach to yourself. We even saw a Green sea turtle nesting.

This is an absolutely beautiful place, very quiet and private and perfect for the getaway we needed. The rock shelf and the cove beside the ocean was a real highlight for us. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and clean with a grill outside and a beautiful deck to spend time on. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Shankton Harbour really stands out! The views from this cabin are incredible as it’s set on a cliffside overlooking the ocean. The cabin itself is beautiful and the kitchen had everything I needed-from easy pasta nights to full bbq! The silence and privacy of the property made it easy to disconnect and enjoy the moment. Plus, it’s close to several stunning beaches, which makes the location feel both secluded and convenient. One of my favorite properties so far. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

It was an extraordinary place to stay that we recommend.

Beautiful place, the ocean view is amazing, the house is large, comfortable, and clean, we had a wonderful time as a family. The host was always available to answer our questions. We didn't have Wi-Fi on the third day, but we understood that this sometimes happens in the area. My only suggestion is to install stairs in the pool. I definitely hope to return.

Beautiful stay! We loved the place: heavenly and relaxing. The host left us several restaurant suggestions that we really enjoyed! Monkey in the surrounding trees, crabs on the rocks and lots of birds. Beware of the scorpion in the trails! It's nature at its best! Thank you for this fabulous stay

The place was spotless and very clean . Beautifully located in front of the ocean and in between the hills. But the best thing was that the place was quiet and very private. Just be aware that there is a lot of stairs to reach the house, so might be not easy for those with a lot of luggage .

The property is in a very beautiful, private location. The ocean view is wonderful and both patios are great for hanging out and relaxing. The house was clean and well-stocked. The hosts are very responsive and helped us organize a sunset boat cruise. Redonda Beach is a short walk from the house and is one of the best beaches in the country. The only thing is to be aware of the distance down the stone steps from the parking area to the house. Other than that, this is a great property and we look forward to coming to stay again. We had a fantastic weekend!

We had an excellent 3 days! Beautiful setting, 150m walk from the very beautiful and quiet Playa Redonda. Very clean accommodation and matches the photos and description. Very responsive and very friendly host. We'll be back!

Excellent house

Fantastic place will recommend staying here as many times as you can. Place is incredible beautiful views amazing pool rooms spotless overall effing fantastic experience.

We loved our stay. The house is spacious, everything works, and the view is spectacular. The pool is bigger than it appears in the pictures and is great for lounging around looking and listening to the waves crash. The AC in the main BR was great (we didn't use the others) and the kitchen is well equipped. There's also a great grill if you need that. The food at the Aqua resort was actually quite good for the lunch we had there, although a bit pricey for Nicaragua. We also enjoyed going for drinks/meals in Playa Gigante.

Little paradise

The house from the cliff had the most beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding areas. We woke up the singing of birds every morning and it wasn't too hot in November when we went so the weather was very pleasant. There was the redonda Bay that was just a 5-minute walk from the house and we got to see monkeys and almost had a private beach to ourselves. The waves are very high but we were careful to stay on the edge. I hope to come back this town and enjoy this Airbnb once again.

Beautiful house, amazing views! House didn’t have coffee (extremely heavy coffee drinker) but the staff were on it later that morning. Overall I would recommend staying here if you plan to enjoy views and infinity pool. I will definitely come back but I will make sure to check the number of guests I include in the booking, as I had to pay $25 to add-on a child (I have never had to pay extra before)

Beautiful home overlooking the water with breathtaking views from their infinity pool. The home was clean and everyone on the grounds was extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a very short drive to playa gigante but the grounds has its own redonda bay which is pristine and a short walk from the home. Fairly easy to find on google maps if you’re driving yourself there but be aware of all the construction on the roads.

My family and I loved the place. It is definitely way better than the pictures. The people were always friendly, attentive, responsive, and polite. THEY ARE dog-friendly, which was super important to us, since they are part of our family. Due to the weather conditions, the house was getting dusty, and the host offered housekeeping service at no cost. The pool was being cleaned daily. The beach access is a few steps from the house, and the ambiance of the place itself is definitely worth your money. Upon our arrival, we got lost, but even without asking the security for help, someone had already come to us to guide us to the house. Overall, it was an excellent experience. My family and dogs were happy. Thank you!

Hidden Gem on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua Nestled along Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast, the home features an small but nice infinity pool overlooking a peaceful ocean inlet, the kind of view you never get tired of. Just a short five-minute walk takes you to a secluded, virgin beach that feels like your own private paradise. The house itself was great! thoughtfully designed, and offered comfort and privacy.. Every detail of the place felt intentional, and the natural beauty surrounding it was unforgettable daily. We saw monkeys and exotic birds, literally, right outside of the house !! Everything was perfect

We loved our stay in Shankton Harbor! The view is really something special and the house was comfortable and clean. It is only a 5 minute walk to Playa Redonda (though be prepared for stairs) where the restaurant at Aqua is - we had dinner there once and breakfast twice. Team Second left us delivery menus from a few other restaurants in Playa Gigante as well as suggestions to other nearby spots within driving distance. Communication was great! Looking forward to staying again.

a nice experience

The location of this home is unreal. The view was breathtaking. The experience of being in the pool and overlooking g the ocean and cliffs was unforgettable. Having morning coffee in the kitchen and watching a monkey and her baby eat fruit from the tree outside was incredible.

This was our second stay with Team Shankton at this lovely location and we loved our experience. Plenty of privacy, beauty, and amenities at your fingertips, with the town of Gigante, fishing, and other activities just a short drive away. I highly recommend visiting the monkeys up the hill or the beach just across the hill a very short walk away. Be sure to communicate any additional members who may join your party (we had 2 family members who ended up joining us last minute) and Team Shankton is very serious about their guest policy (which is communicated in the listing; our fault not theirs). In any case, I certainly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.
