We have greatly enjoyed our stay! The location of the house is really fantastic. A beautiful, huge private garden and right on the lake. There is plenty of space. We stayed with 2 families, 4 adults and 7 children. The bedrooms were nice and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was equipped with everything. We especially found the central areas even better than in the photos. We would love to come back here☺️

What a beautiful, tranquil spot! The on-site staff were awesome and so sweet. It's a bit of a drive to get there, but you're right in the middle between Granada and Masaya, so you get the best of both worlds. The interior rooms are a little dated, but the view more than makes up for it and the property and landscaping are beautifully done. Honestly, I could see myself living here. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place with stunning lagoon views and grounds that are clearly cared for with pride. The landscaping is immaculate, with healthy plants and shrubs that are regularly trimmed and maintained. The accommodations are set up in a hotel-style layout, with separate rooms that each have their own private bathroom and air-conditioning unit, providing both comfort and privacy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for preparing meals, and the refrigerator works exceptionally well. If you're stocking up on a few cold Toñas, you'll appreciate how quickly it chills drinks. Getting to the property is relatively easy. Most of the route is paved and in good condition, although there is a short unfinished section near the end that is quite rocky and bumpy. The drive is worth it once you arrive. One of the property's biggest highlights is its location on the lagoon. The views are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. There is a small beach area as well. Excellent

Dinko communicated very well. We loved the apartment. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen is well-equipped. The rooms are spacious. The garden is well-kept and amazing. I strongly recommend Dinko's place.

Quinta Lee was wonderful, well equipped with essentials, A/C works wonderful In all rooms & comfortable beds. Lots of great areas to lounge, enjoy the gorgeous view and lake. Restaurants and small shops near by. Safe and quiet area. Care taker Wilmer and son are very nice, attentive and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome and helped bring us some charcoal for BBQ grill. We went out to Granada for a day in a hurry, planning to clean up dishes when we got back and to our surprise everything was spotless when we got back thanks a lot Wilmer and family! Would love to stay again and def recommended 👍👍

My family and I had an amazing experience at Quinta Lee! From the moment we walked in, Wilmer the house assistant was friendly, helpful and available for anything we needed. The customer service was top-notch! This was an exceptional, relaxing stay! The rooms where spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable and bathrooms spotless. There is even laundry service available! Quinta Lee is the perfect getaway. Breathtaking views for miles.

Beautiful house with direct access to the lake. The caretaker, Wilmer, was really very kind. We had a great time! The only downside was that the kayaks mentioned in the description were not available.

Fantastic garden, very green, on the lake, large and lots of privacy

The photos do not do this place justice, one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. The inside is fairly basic but the outside, where you spend the majority of the time, is truly stunning. Our two night stay was meant to be as a base for local attractions but we knew the moment we walked in that we wouldn’t be leaving at all. Thank you for sharing this wonderful space

This place is even more beautiful in person! The photos can't quite capture the magic of the landscaping and scenic view of the lagoon. Very spacious kitchen and outdoor living space and a few cool little cozy outdoor nooks. The caretaker Wilmur was the best! He helped us coordinate 2 cars very quickly to get us to Granada and then pick us up when we were done. Always smiling and in a great mood. The location is extremely peaceful. You are not very close to anything walkable but you really don't want to leave the property when you are there. I highly recommend this space and look forward to staying again!

Beautiful place, extremely relaxing

Words cannot fully describe the beauty of Laguna de Apoyo and how peaceful it is. Sitting out on the terrace in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the huge assortment of birds fly about while listening to a troop of howler monkeys off in the trees is simply magical.

The place was paradise. The property is covered with multiple beautiful gardens. There were hundreds of flowers of every color, and beautiful manicured plants everywhere. Butterflies and birds abounded. Quinta Lee was very quiet throughout our three nights/4 days. Which is what we wanted. Quinta Lee has a both a wide grass and a pebble/sand beach. At 6 foot 1 inch tall, I could walk out 10 meters before the water reached my chin. Many places along the shore of the Laguna drop off so quickly that even I am up to my chin in water within two or three steps from shore. As a bonus, under the water beyond Quinta Lee's waterfront, the bed of the Laguna was soft to walk on. Not weedy, not stony. But rather, perfect. The kitchen has lots of modern, well functioning appliances. The pictures in the Airbnb posting are nice, but in my experience, the place looks even better than the photos. Bedrooms are simple, and the aircon was easily sufficient. I will return.

This place is an absolute gem! I stayed here with my mom and aunt during their visit to Nicaragua, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot. The house is stunning, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and with direct access to the lagoon. It really feels like a little piece of paradise. The caretaker was so kind, friendly, and helpful, he made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to recharge and enjoy the beauty of Laguna de Apoyo, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is where you want to go when you relaxation and peace & quiet. While there activities in the area, my favorite activity here is sitting in the shade staring at the immense beauty of the lake just behind the very well tended garden. The house itself is not fancy, but the kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the a/c works well in each room. Wilmer, the caretaker is extremely friendly and service oriented. Highly recommend this spot.

Paradise! The view here is incredible and the hosts are warm and welcoming! We absolutely loved our stay here!

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

My wife and I are from the United States. We lived in Nicaragua for 10 years and this house has always been our absolute favorite place to stay!! It’s private, and the garden is so so beautiful! The house is cozy and beautiful! It’s open air kitchen with a view looking out over the lake is what keeps us coming back every time! We have been away from Nicaragua for 4 years. But we just stayed again and the house is just how we remember it! The local caretaker, Wilmer, is awesome! He is always attentive to our needs and responsive. I definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Laguna #1. The house and garden are beautiful.

It is a little tropical paradise full of peace and the perfect atmosphere to rest and do unwinding of the routine. Wilmer is a beautiful person who is always ready to help and resolve in any situation. There is food service at home although I recommend bringing what you need to cook as the kitchen is excellently equipped. Two days are not enough, I will be back a full week soon <3 The lagoon is deep so I recommend knowing how to swim very well so I can mess with relaxation. The swimming shoes and the lenses to see the bottom of the lagoon are great tools for enjoying the flora and fauna of the lagua. Oh God, it was so beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lakehouse. The place was clean, breezy, and spacious. The garden was well kept that made for a beautiful view with the lagoon in the background. The place was super quiet and private and felt safe with our 4 children + pets. The caretaker was attentive to any request that we had. It is out of the way and remote but has all the amenities that one would like. Will plan to visit again.

What a beautiful and lovely house in a prime location. The access road is a bit tricky ( non paved) so bring plenty of food and drinks. And enjoy!

What a gorgeous place! The house is super comfortable and the setting can’t be beat. It’s a nice balance between being pleasantly isolated, but still only about a 30-min drive from Granada, Masaya, and various pueblos blancos. We loved lounging in the garden and swimming endlessly in the lake. And when we were too lazy to cook or venture farther out, Fabiola was kind enough to cook delicious food for us. The caretaker, Wilmer, is incredibly helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend it!

Dinko's place is stunning. His house is beautiful, a great place in the middle of nature with a spectacular view of the lake. His house has a private entrance to the lake. Plus you have Wilmer, who is an amazing person, joyful and always looking forward to help you. We loved this place and will try our best to come back.

Amazing stay here, perfect way to end the trip. The view of the lake and the garden are simply stunning. You feel like you're in paradise sitting on the porch having a coffee in the morning. Walking down to the private beach for a swim is awesome. The lake is very warm, clear and pleasant to swim in. We had a sedan rental car and the dirt road gets a bit bumpy as you approach the house but we had no issues getting there in it. The house is pretty isolated from most things and we ended up eating at Paradiso hotel a bunch where the food was pretty good. (ask about how to get around the cover charge before you go) The whole experience was made better by the care taker Wilmer who is arguably the nicest guy in Nicaragua. So friendly, made us feel like we were home with an old friend. This was the best service we received during our 3 week trip. Gracias Wilmer por todo, nos vemos pronto!

This is the most beautiful place I’ve spent the night! We had such a lovely time here even in spite of losing power for most of one day (this seems to be highly abnormal). The house was safe and comfortable, we felt completely at ease. I love that the house is one level so my grandparents were able to get around easily. Wilmer, who takes care of Casa Lee, is extremely kind, professional and attentive. As an additional perk, lots of cute pups come by to visit. I plan to go back, hopefully several times! A note that water shoes are helpful for entering the lagoon since it’s very rocky.

Welcome to paradise! This house is amazing, great view on the Laguna and the garden is so beautiful, with flowers multicolor, hummingbirds in late afternoon… we have used the paddle on the lake, our stay was just perfect!

Everything fantastic

If you are looking for a private oasis with enough room for a large family, look no further. This Quinta is located in the Laguna Apoyo - a lagoon that formed over thousands of years in an inactive volcano. The place is peaceful and just gorgeous! The nearby town on the way up, offers local foods and shopping for some groceries. We chose to shop the local home/ side of the road markets in stead of buying from the larger markets in Masaya. The property care taker Wilmer and his family were very inviting and attentive. They gave great recommendations and are just wonderful people. We recommend this property and will definitely be back again :)

Our stay was incredible. The view to the lagoon is simply stunning. Wilmer, our contact during the entire stay, was the nicest host representative we’ve met: He assisted us when we needed it and he’s been leaving around the Laguna de Apoyo for many years so he know its history etc., he was proactive and friendly. Literally one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in!! With breathtaking views of the laguna de apoyo, you’ll want to just stay in and take in the scenery. Also, the water feels amazing to go in on a hot day. What made the place extra special as well were the sweetest and cutest dogs that would come visit us here and there. Will definitely miss Chinga the dog the most!! Wilmer, the caretaker, was nothing but kind and helpful since we arrived. He always made sure we were doing okay and gave us some good recommendations. We were a group of eight. This was our second visit to Quinta Lee. It was, once again, a lovely place to end our stay in Nicaragua. The grounds were beautiful with many places to sit and relax and the lake was perfect for swimming. Wilmer, the caretaker, was always available to help, and is very friendly. He made arrangements for a masseuse to come to the house - it was wonderful. We cooked most of our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of needing more plates (small), bowls and coffee cups. Wilmer did bring us two more coffee cups when asked. Would love to go back.

The property is amazing with breathtaking views of the Laguna, garden and volcano rim. Open kitchen and dining area had sweeping views of the entire laguna. We celebrated a birthday here and can honestly say it was a priceless experience. The caretaker Wilmer made the whole experience over the top for us and was so gracious with his helpfulness,making our stay that much more lovely. We highly recommend staying here. Quinta Lee at Laguna de Apoyo was such a cute place…lots of things to cook with, many places to sit and relax, air conditioning, hot water, and the view and location on the Laguna was just beautiful. Wilmer, the cuidador, was so helpful and very friendly, as was his his wife. We will be back to stay there when our kids and grandkids come in from the USA to visit.
