We had a great time! A very nice house in a great location for walking and close to the Zócalo! I loved being able to communicate easily with Mari Luz from the moment I made the booking. 100% recommended! The cleaning girl is very nice and efficient!

We stayed at Maria's house for a week. We love her beautiful house with amazing scenery, cleanness and convince. Maria has kept very smooth and timely response communication with us whenever we got questions. Her house keeper Ana is a great helper for not only keeping the house clean, also helping us for shopping groceries during our stay. In short, we had a great time in Valle De Bravo. All good with having that great view however, thay view comes at a cost. Easy walking down to the town. But coming back is challenging. Will need to take a taxi up its its a bit of a work out. Other than that great place.

A great place with a beautiful view! We definitely felt at home. Maria's attention super good, always attentive, accounts with the extra of a cleaning girl who is completely trustworthy, it is convenient to go down walking and back by taxi, although some taxi drivers do not want to go to the place, Maria has a contact se confidence that she provided us. The place is cozy and comfortable, we travel with a large family and we were all comfortable, I highly recommend it. Like plus Maria left some balls for my kids to play and they were having fun!

Maria was extremely helpful, and quick to respond to all our questions and requests. She was flexible with our check-out time, gave us local recommendations and had a cleaning person available whenever we needed extra help. Each bedroom has a bath, with enough good towels for all and some extra. The treat is the table on the deck which was set for our arrival (even had a vase with fresh flowers) and we used for every meal. Our granddaughter loved playing in the yard with 2 balls that Maria got for her. It felt like staying at a friend’s house! If you are driving in, know that the cobblestone roads to get to the house are steep. We chose to use the local taxis instead of driving, especially when coming back uphill after walking to town for a meal :) Quaint town, and lovely house if you enjoy experiencing Valle de Bravo like a local. We recommend it!

Absolutely stunning ! Great view and location! Amazing communication! Walkable but we preferred to take a cab for $50 pesos on the way back up! We cooked and ate breakfast on the patio every morning ! Our 3 year old managed the stairs but you may want to bring a baby gate for younger kids! We will be back! 100 recommend coming here !!!

Lucy’s house is beautiful, quiet, and has unbeatable views. We had an amazing time. We spent most of our time on the terrace, as it’s a place where you can enjoy the entire lake and the best sunsets. Fanny helped us with everything for the house chores. We'll definitely be back!! Thank you, Lucy.

Maria De La Luz was an excellent host. Me and my friends had a great relaxing vacation week at her place. We grilled lots and enjoyed the cozy fireplace. The views of the whole lake are otherworldly and stunning, particularly the sublime sunsets. Maria sent us very clear and specific instructions on how to get to the place. We had a housecleaner come every day which enabled us to focus on cooking rather than cleaning. Victor was easy to contact and provided us with lots of firewood. I’d love to come back for another stay and enjoy the great sunsets again in a place that you just want to relax in. The town and city buzz is a few steep downhill blocks away if you end up craving a night in a fancy restaurant. The host is very communicative, which can be a little bit much for some. But it’s understandable why she texts so much as she really wants her guests to have the best experience possible and make sure everything is in prime condition. Thank you again for hosting us!

Everything was excellent just as Maria de la Luz has to offer. We enjoyed every minute of the stay in the chalet. The person who received us was very friendly and Fany, the maid, was excellent help. The only truly difficult thing was arrival and I understand that it is not the host's fault but the municipal government for the state in which the access streets are located. The climbs are very inclined and in very bad condition, bumpy and broke half of one of them to "repair" but left very little space to transit being double circulation.

Must rent this stunning place. We are world travelers, mostly in the highest end of AirBnBs. Back from luxury AirBnBs in Europe and the Middle East we walked into this rental and were immediately astounded by fabulous. Drawn to the wrap-around balcony overlooking the breathtaking view, we lingered there as much as possible. The mountain chalet itself is clearly a loved dwelling of the owner Luz, who cares for every detail. Fabulous bed-linens, extremely well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture in a place we did not want to leave. This place was impeccably clean, the entire experience a joy. We will surely be back and make this our home in Valle de Bravo. Highly recommended for discerning travelers.

Very good house. Maria is very gentle and supportive human being. Very easy to approach and it is an unfirgettable experience. She speaks very good english and that helped people like us who do not speak better spanish. House is very beautiful and well maintained.

Luz's place is fabulous. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is unbeatable. The photos don't do it enough justice. Luz and her staff are attentive at all times to whatever you need and support you throughout your stay. I definitely recommend it if you want to have a fun and relaxing weekend. I spent a weekend at Valle de Bravo and I really enjoyed staying at Luz’s place. We had a great time, the view is amazing. I will definitely stay there during my best visit.

Beautiful! With the view, it already worth the house. The dining room inside is never used for the comfort of the outside. Maria and Brenda were attentive from booking to check-out. To get there, it's best to follow the instructions they send, at Waze he sends you through narrow streets and many stops. They have several amenities and the house is very clean. I recommend 100%.

This house is in a privileged location. It has an incredible view where you can see ALL of Valle de Bravo. The whole family had a great time on the terrace, it is very spacious and comfortable to spend all day there. Thank you very much to Maria for your attention and to Brenda for always being attentive to what we needed.

Beautiful house with amazing views

Phenomenal view! My second stay there and this time I came back for a whole week to enjoy the magnificent balcony and lake view. The house itself is quaint and charming, feels lived-in and loved not built-to-rent only, but what will keep me coming back is the unobstructed view. The garden below is also lovely and green, good spot to do a morning workout. I spent most of my days out on the big terrace just soaking in the lake, clouds and hills.

The view is truly spectacular. We had an amazing time; everything was just as we expected. The service from the staff is fabulous; we spent hours on that balcony enjoying that beautiful view. Our experience was a 10. Of course we would come back, although the kids were the only ones who missed the wading pool. Apart from that, everything was fine. Thank you.

It was an amazing stay; the house was very nice, with a spectacular view, and in a great location. From the very first contact, the host was friendly, attentive, and provided us with all the details, from the amenities to recommendations for going out for a walk. Brenda, the girl who welcomes us, is also always aware of what we need and is a very nice person. Excellent communication. My family was very happy, and I would definitely come back.

Our stay was great!! The terrace is amazing, and the service provided by María and Blanca made our vacation very comfortable and enjoyable. The house needs renovations in terms of its furniture and décor; the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired, but these are details that are largely offset by the comfort of the house, both in terms of its location and the beds, which are very comfortable, and the hot water in the showers.

The house could be a little cleaner, especially when you arrive, and some kitchen details. But overall it delivers what it promises and I would come back!

The house has a spectacular view of the lake, and you can prepare a nice dinner for 8 people since you have all the necessary utensils. The spaces and bedrooms are spacious and cozy enough. Although it is very close to the cathedral, it is a great place where you can relax without the hustle and bustle of downtown. The house is located high up in the mountains, so accessibility is a challenge, but the view is spectacular. The house has plenty of bathrooms, so it's comfortable for several guests. It has everything you need, but nothing extra. The price is a bit high, but it's affordable by Valle de Bravo standards.

The house is great. The photos really don't do it justice, because the view is wonderful (they should include a photo of all the rooms, the terrace and its spaciousness, and the garden). It makes you want to stay at home, grill some meat, have breakfast on the terrace, enjoy the fireplace, etc. Despite the great difficulty of going up and down the mountain, especially for older people or those with reduced mobility, the house is not far from downtown, which is why you can walk down and return by taxi. Either way, the view is really worth it, and more than makes up for the inconvenience of the climb. On the other hand, the house is really comfortable, it has four bedrooms each with a private bathroom, which is a real attraction for large groups. Likewise, the living spaces are really cozy, and it is fully equipped to enjoy a peaceful vacation in a group or family, although it has enough privacy. Last but not least, we must highlight the hospitality of Brenda, the woman who welcomed us and assisted us throughout the stay, who is very kind, always willing to help us, advise us and make our stay more pleasant. In short, I highly recommend the accommodation.
