La Casita is a wonderful place. The energy of the place is incredible; it's the perfect place to disconnect, relax and reconnect with nature. It is surrounded by a spectacular natural setting and has excellent neighbors. In addition, the decoration of the house has a very Zen, cozy and very tasteful style. Definitely a place I highly recommend.

We arrived at this Airbnb and left within an hour because the conditions were not tolerable for our family. While we could have overlooked the property being dated and not especially clean (including the oven missing its glass door), the overwhelming musty, mildewy, mothball-like odor upstairs made it impossible for us to stay. The smell was extremely strong in the bedrooms, bedding, and even the laundry room linens. Within 20 minutes, both of my children (ages 10 and 12) were crying because they felt uncomfortable breathing and could not tolerate the odor. The downstairs was also extremely hot, and the only AC units — which we paid extra for — were upstairs in the bedrooms. I contacted the host immediately and attempted multiple times to discuss a reasonable partial refund, but received no response. The only refund we received was the $40 AC fee through Airbnb’s Resolution Center. As an Airbnb Superhost myself, I have never experienced anything like this.

Unfortunately, you chose to leave before we had the opportunity to fully assess or resolve the situation. We also note that, upon arrival, there was an incident involving damage to the condominium’s security gate system, which was recorded by the property’s security cameras. Despite this, our priority remained assisting you and addressing your concerns as quickly as possible. Given our long history of positive reviews and satisfied guests, we feel this review does not accurately reflect the property’s usual condition or the prompt efforts made by our team to provide support.
