Great location, great complex, very good service, privacy, highly recommended

Great stay!!!

We loved our stay and have already rebooked. The condo had everything we needed for our family, including beach toys for the kids. The complex was gorgeous with heated walk in pool. The food onsite was a nice bonus as well. The condo is walking distance to lots of great restaurants in the marina.

This place is beautiful and spacious and in a super central location, would highly recommend! The plunge pool outside is an excellent addition and the access to the pool right from the sliding door is great with kids. Tomas (the concierge) is wonderful. Daniela is extremely responsive and accommodating. Food and drinks at the pool restaurant are reasonably priced and restaurants at the marina are a two minute walk. Walmart and Soriana are within a 10 minute drive for groceries, Costco not much farther.

We loved this condo! It accommodated our family well, had all the basic necessities, and was a great value. We were able to walk to a lot of different restaurants and shopping in the marina. Anything outside of Marina Vallarta was easy to uber to or get a taxi. There is a golf course across the street that is spendy if you don’t bring your own stuff, but a nice option. The restaurant at Shangri La is fantastic. They were only open 930-5 but the food was excellent, and a great price. They even cooked the fish we caught for us. Daniela was super responsive any time we had a question or a request. She offered a cleaning mid stay since we were going to be there so long, which we didn’t take advantage of but is a nice option. Hotel concierge was also very helpful with getting water jug refills and shuttles. Pool is amazing with a heated side and non heated side and tons of seating. It was an end of April when we went and the whole place was quiet. Security was great. Would 100% stay again!

Excellent apartment for a group of 8 people!

Our 3rd stay was fabulous!

A well appointed, clean, comfortable condo in a magnificent resort-like community. The lanai and pools are exceptional. It is a very safe and walkable area near PV Marina which has fabulous restaurants. You do not need a car. The community is very private, gated and has 24/7 security present. There is a concierge assigned to each building to assist your every need. Communication with the host is exemplary. Do not hesitate to book!

We stayed at this wonderful condo for a week in January 2025 and have nothing but positive things to say. We loved the location being on the beach yet it is just across the street from the Marina. We would definitely stay here again if we can get lucky enough to find a place to stay.

We’ve had the most wonderful stay at Daniela’s place! So spacious, wonderful location with access to restaurants and tour groups. The pools available to use were fantastic and the food in restaurant very good.

This is a beautiful place and very clean! The walkout patio was beautiful and our private pool was amazing! Had a few glitches with our air conditioning in the master but we opened other doors to accommodate. We also struggled with the TV…very complicated. Daniela was an awesome host and addressed all of our concerns quickly😊 we would surely recommend this property! Lovely vacation😎

I highly recommend the apartment, when we arrived everything was very clean and impeccable, it is perfect for a large family. If you go with young children, the pool outside the apartment is great for watching over them. There were toys to make sand castles and some floats that the children loved. The area is great since the Marina is a 3-minute walk away and there are several restaurants. Dani's attention was great and he always responded very quickly. We'll be back next year for sure!

The place as shown in the pictures, very equipped and beautiful landscape. In the tower or condominiums it touched us very quiet, there were few people and that made our trip more enjoyable and relaxing. Pretty facilities in general. The apartment is very spacious and complete. Overall we had a great time. A plus the private pool and the grill we had outside.

Best place we had ever stayed in Puerto Vallarta…very conveniently located right at the Marina…staff was was very professional always willing to help and assist my family 👏👏👍👍

The property is great and as shown in the pictures or even better. We stayed 8 friends and family and it was ideal for us. They are 4 bedrooms and each has its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need for cooking. The outdoor grill was a plus! It has a gallery with beds, table set, armchairs and chairs and a backyard with its own pool, as well as the pool common to all owners. You leave the property and you are with your feet on the beach! The beach is very private and also has tables with umbrellas and loungers. It is the best choice in Puerto Vallarta without a doubt! One detail that we would have liked is to receive us with fresh water in the refrigerator since we were coming from Argentina and the trip was long enough to arrive and have to go shopping. Anyway, we would come back a thousand times more! Thank you for your attention, Daniela!

Daniela’s place was beautiful! We love the Shangri La and loved being on the bottom floor. I can’t wait to go back.

Love the ground floor location, especially with our two toddlers. The kitchen had everything we needed (except we couldn't find a pair of scissors). The washer/dryer and dishwasher all worked perfectly. They even provided the detergents. The walk-in pool is wonderful and perfect for the kids. I love that the tower is close to the gates. But overall, the condo is walkable to many nice restaurants and just a 25-min uber ride to downtown. Uber was always available, too. Daniela is responsive especially with all our questions. Just wish there was a more detailed set of house instructions such that you can empty the small trashcans through the back door, or how to enter the code using the elevator buttons to get in. I guess that's what the concierge is for, who were super helpful by the way. They can order a 20L jug of water for you, too. In short, we will definitely back! P.S. the sliding doors open all the way out! Too bad we didn't learn about it until our last night..

We had the best time at ShangriLa. The ground floor condo with its own private pool was fantastic and safe with great security. The main pool is good for the morning swim and the swim up bar was a nice surprise. We will be back and we highly recommend this location who is thinking of a quiet and relaxing get away. Great stay. Highly recommend. Easy walking distance to marina restaurants and shops. Staff were all very helpful and Daniela was always available to answer our questions.

Excellent place, very spacious and private. There were 8 adults and two children and we fit very well. The apartment pool is very cool and the condominium pool is huge. We always have a great time there. The beach is very quiet, the Marina is very close walking. It is the second time that my family and I have stayed there. We like it very much and we hope to return next year 🤗

Loved everything about this place. The place was bigger than I expected. the shared pool is AMAZING. The private pool was definitely an added plus. the concierge and staff were amazing. they were friendly and very helpful! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay, I definitely would recommend this place. if I had to say anything, it would be that for good authentic food, it is a bit of a distance away, but nothing a taxi or Uber can't take you to. on average for a taxi was 350 Mx Uber about 200 mx all depending on how far you are going. to go to somewhere like the romantic zone, it's about 400 mx in a taxi.

Very nice apartment in Shangri-La, located in the marina area that I like a lot because you are close to many things. The apartment is very well maintained and has all the necessary amenities. Lupita, the person who takes care of the property, is very attentive and helpful, as is Thomas, the concierge of the tower. Daniela and her sister were always helpful at all times and their apartment is impeccable. Of course I would stay at this property again.

Magnificent place. Despite being inside a unit of several condominiums, we enjoyed a lot of privacy. The pools are very clean and we enjoyed them a lot. Daniela was very attentive and responded immediately to our questions and was very flexible with our check-in and check-out from the condo. We were a group of 4 couples and everyone commented that they definitely want to rent here when they return to Vallarta. Thank you very much Daniela.

Everything about or stay here was above and beyond perfect! ! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation. Tomas could not have been any more accommodating in every way. Beach bar food was excellent as was the many restaurants within walking distance. Truly one of the best family vacations we have experienced. We will be back.

Great location, great place, wonderful owner to work with.

This ground floor condo was a great stay and the hostess Daniela was very responsive and helpful. The ShangriLa condo property has a poolside bar and restaurant with servers working around the pool so it has the amenities of a resort without all the headaches of resort living. The gym facility is big and well maintained with an on site spa where you can book massages and other beauty procedures,. We were travelling with an infant and the very large outdoor space with private pool made it very easy to put her down for naps and still be able to enjoy the outdoors and sunshine. The grounds of the property are amazing and very well kept. Pool area is very clean. It is very secure and very friendly staff and security. Tomas the concierge at Tower 5 was the best!! One part of the experience that deserves mention is the WIFI is not the greatest connection speed. I was working remotely from this location and it was a bit painful with the internet speeds. Also there was no hot water at the kitchen sink which was a bit of a pain but they were unable to fix this while we were there. All in all we had an amazing two weeks here and will definitely be back sometime again!!

The apartment has everything to spend some very pleasant days. Mariana was very attentive and available for any questions, cleaning details that can be resolved. Very good views and amenities, the beds are comfortable. The apartment is large and nice. I would definitely go back.

Excellent apartment, very good location, very recommended for vacation.

Beautiful ground floor unit. The private dip pool was wonderful in the evening while sitting outside. The main pool was a short walk and offered great poolside services. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning controls in each room provided the comfort level for everyone, The marina was just a short walk and offered great dining and shopping. And Tomas, our butler, was an added bonus!

The Shangri-la location can't be beat and Mariana's place is the best condo we've stayed in at the complex! The home was clean and very spacious. Typically in PV the 4th "bedroom" is an un-air-conditioned tiny room - not here. It was truly 4 bedrooms. Every single thing about the space was perfect. Any time we stay at the Shangri-la we will try to get this condo!

The apartment is huge and very lovely, exactly how it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our small children as we could go to the beach or pool only a few steps away from the front patio. We were in Puerto Vallarta in low season and had the pool and beach almost all to ourselves but there was always a lovely evening breeze so we could enjoy sitting on the patio in the evening after the children were asleep. Wonderful!

Mariana’s place was EPIC! We did a bachelorette party here, and it was so nice! It has all the amenities of a resort without the crowd. Security was AMAZING, I felt very safe. Best part was everyone got their own queen size bed! I will 100% be staying here again, I think it would be a perfect vacation spot for a family!

This apartment itself is amazing; coupled with your own private pool, a community pool, the beach, and a VERY quick walk to many shops and restaurants you will certainly have a memorable vacation. We love the Marina area as it offers an eclectic mix of both long term residents and resort vacationers. We will absolutely be staying in this apartment again.

Fantastic place! We had a wonderful time. Space is great for a large family (we had 7). Place had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Loved quick access to the main pool. Really a great pool. Temperature was just right. Staff were very friendly.

Mariana's place is beautiful and great value - the amenities are incredible for the price! We saw whales breaching in the ocean from the porch and enjoyed having our own private deck space near the pools, as well as the easy walk to the marina. Thanks for a beautiful week in PV

Excellent condominium, Shangrila's staff is very caring and helpful. La ubicación excelente para salir a caminar, comer en diferentes lugares, la alberca, playa y jardines padrisimo para disfrutar con los niños. Excelente place, the staff of Shangrila very helpful and attentive. Very nice location to walk around and try different restaurants. The pool, beach and gerdens very fun and dafe for kids.

This is a fantastic space in the Marina Vallarta. We loved the ample room for all of us (6) in this condo and the quick access to the pool, hot tub, ocean, and the marina. We ate out, but you could easily cook your own meals here. We walked back and forth to the Westin (600 m away) for a conference and felt very safe in the neighborhood. The staff at Shangri La were extremely helpful and made our stay very easy. Don't get money from the ATM in the Oxxo in the marina - the fee is 10 times higher than a nearby ATM further down in the marina. We discovered Taquería Los Mapaches, about 10 minutes away, on our last night. If you want a unique experience in Puerto Vallarta, I recommend stopping by this taqueria.

The apartment is excellent, and the private pool is super convenient and at a good temperature. The complex is just a short walk from the marina, and all the restaurants are within walking distance—you don't even need to get in the car! An excellent vacation!

This was our second visit to the Shangri-La and our first stay with Mariana. Mariana was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate with her and responsive to our messages. The apartment is very spacious and well decorated. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of amenities in the apartment as well as on the complex grounds. Access into the unit was very easy and Mariana's instructions were spot on. The grounds to the complex are absolutely stunning and wonderfully maintained. The pool is great for young kids as there are many shallow areas where they can play. This is a great quite family friendly spot. If you are looking for a party pad this is NOT the place for you nor are you wanted by the residents! Mariana, Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back again next year!

Awesome place for our family of 9 to stay comfortably.

We stayed at Mariana's condo for spring break week 2018. The condo was awesome and it was exactly as advertised in the pictures. We were a family of 8 (4 adults, 1 teen, 2 pre-teens and 1 kid). The space was huge and every room had its own bathroom. The outside patio space was unbelievable. We've previously stayed at many other units at Shangri-la with balconies and high floor ocean views but we ended up actually preferring this ground floor unit. The outside space was definitely a huge plus. Shangri-la is perfectly located. The on site restaurant is also a big bonus. Very reasonable prices and good service. Although it was busier than normal because it was spring break, we never had an issue finding an empty spot by the pool. Tomas the concierge was super helpful and accommodating. Overall it was one of the best stays we've had at Shangri-la. Thank you Mariana!

The Shangri-La condo is in a great location near the marina and near public transportation. The condo is beautiful and the view from the patio is spectacular! The grounds were very well maintained and manicured daily. Easy access to the pool and beach because of the ground floor accessibility. The restaurant on site had delicious food and was very reasonably priced. Mariana and our concierge Tomas were extremely attentive to all our needs and requests which made for a great vacation stay at the Shangri-La!

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo is amazing! We felt right at home here. Very spacious, beautifully decorated, lots of windows, gorgeous views from the living room and master bedroom. I loved that the condo had its own little pool and a grass area for my daughter to play. The community pool was amazing and the water was warm. There’s a little playground for kids and the grounds were very well maintained. There is even a parking space included. We ended up changing our reservations to check in a day earlier and Mariana was very accommodating and so quick to respond. Mariana is a great host! Also, Tomas the concierge was super friendly and so helpful with everything. We’ve stayed at the Peninsula and the Venetian condos before, this is by far our FAVORITE place! We had an amazing time and we will stay here again and we’ve already told our friends and family about this place.

A beautiful place, decorated so tasteful. Loads of room to move about, beautiful bathrooms with excellent water pressure and oh those beds & pillows were amazingly comfortable. What a treat to be on the main floor & walk right out to a gorgeous patio & private pool. Grounds were immaculate and so many beautiful flowers. Mariana is an excellent host and Thomas the concierge was at our beck & call. If you want an amazing place, look no further!

Our family had a fantastic time staying at the ShangriLa Condo. It was hands down one of the best resorts we've ever stayed at. The pool was a highlight—our kids pretty much lived in it all day! Mariana was a great host and Tomas the building concierge made sure we had everything we needed. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect—close to the Marina, great restaurants and on Thursday nights there is a market to get food and souvenirs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This week has been outstanding staying at this luxurious condo. The pool is beautiful, gym amenities was great, our contact Mariana was wonderful to deal with. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to PV. Highly recommend. If I had to say one thing there could be an improvement on is the jacuzzi- it doesn’t work and we were really looking forward to using. Other than that everything was beautiful and amazing !!
