A beautiful place, very quiet and surrounded by nature. The best thing is that, despite feeling so secluded, it is super centrally located: close to supermarkets, beaches, and restaurants. Ideal for resting while still having everything close at hand.

Katrin is an excellent host. She has the ability to resolve any unforeseen issues that may arise at the last minute and is always ready to help with whatever is needed. We will definitely return to the properties he manages, because apart from being managed by someone very capable, they are an excellent option.

This accommodation is integrated into the heart of nature, and even monkeys, iguanas and various birds visit you from nearby trees. For its location, it's fine, but it's better if you have a car.

We absolutely loved our stay at Katrin’s gorgeous home. The property is located right on the edge of the jungle which was amazing. The sounds of the jungle were absolutely incredible and we were visited by some cheeky monkeys, beautiful toucans and noisy parrots. The facilities in the house were great. The pool was amazing to swim in and the outside area was lovely and open - especially with the big windows that open out. The rooms were really cosy and clean and a good size. The kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Really felt like a home away from home. We didn’t hire a car as we were a bit nervous of driving on the opposite side of the road, we managed with buses and the occasional taxi. Most people seem to hire a car, but it is possible without. Katrin was a brilliant host, prompt communication, very generous with her time and advice. Would absolutely love to stay again, we will miss our stay in the jungle. Would absolutely recommend.

House suited to our taste and the location was perfect, very isolated from everything, which is what I was looking for. Everything was great.

Great home. The pool was magnificent and great to spend afternoons. There is no air conditioning in the main living areas which kept us from spending much time together but the bedrooms had air condition and we just spent our other time at the pool. Katrin was great at booking tours for us - even with our last minute notice.

This place is truly magical. I little hidden gem in the jungle. Like others have mentioned, a little tricky to find (up a tall mountain on an incline), but such a private, intimate, and safe spot. Close to literally everything! If you're visiting for wildlife, you're going to find it here! We saw iguanas, parrots, squirrel monkeys, geckos, and much more right from the patio. Squirrel monkeys are native to Manuel Antonio and they are so small and SO CUTE. They would rest on the powerlines right alongside the pool. We could hear howler monkeys every morning in the backyard. The space itself is tiny, but perfect for a family of 4. We actually had 5 and made it work :) The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Having a washer and dryer was amazing after long rainy hikes and beach days. Feeling adventurous? Check out Playa Matcha Beach about 2 minutes away - it is a hike to get there (you literally have to hike - no cars allowed) but such a beautiful, hidden spot.

Fabulous two bedroom house. We loved the pool and appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. Everything is exactly as advertised. As with most houses In Costa Rica the main living space is open through screens to outdoors (but there’s ac in the bedrooms) — this worked just fine for us but it’s something to be aware of And of course is crystal clear in the listing. Katrin was incredibly helpful and was super responsive. Five stars.

We had a great stay at this house. Katrin gave us great recommendations about activities and places to discover in the area. As a bonus, squirrel monkeys came to visit us very close to the house, a truly memorable moment! The location is ideal, between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We would definitely recommend this house!

Katrin was very kind, and has a beautiful home. Her gardens and outdoor spaces are spectacular. The birds and butterflies were always present in her flowers. We heard howler monkeys every day, and had other monkeys visiting trees nearby several times. Very close to the National Park. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Katrins place in July 2026. We stayed as a family of four for four nights and could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful: just like the pictures. The kitchen was ideal for preparing meals and the ac in the bedrooms was very useful at night. The joint stars of the show though are the pool and the laundry facilities!! The pool was just perfect whether chilling out, or for relaxing after a days activities. We couldn’t get our kids out. And, as mentioned, you’ll almost certainly be visited by the troop of squirrel monkeys who pass by. This really was one of the highlights of our whole Costa Rica holiday!! If you’ve travelled round this area you will know: nothing dries in the humidity and if you’re anything like us (Scottish!!!) you’ll sweat your clothes through in 5 seconds of putting them on. So being able to clean some clothes halfway through our trip was a lifesaver. What a place!!!! We would love to come back!

At first it was difficult for us to find, mostly because we did not understand the addressing system to the residence. Once we found the house, it was exactly as described and the photos were exactly what the property looks like. A bonus was the washer and dryer in the house. Even though you can, walk to the bus, we would absolutely recommend getting a rental car while staying in the area. Katrin was a fantastic host she brought us a fan when requested because we were not used to the heat and humidity. With her local knowledge, she was a valuable asset in when came to setting up our tour of Manuel Antonio, we got to see sloths, and even set up a massage for my husband. We witnessed spider monkeys in the front yard and even on the roof of the house, it was an unforgettable, swimming in the pool with monkeys in the trees around you. Make sure to wear sunscreen. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Leonardo! Everything was clean and working properly. The pool was amazing, it feels like you’re swimming in the jungle. It truly felt like an immersion into the rain forest. Katrin was responsive and helpful, referring us to local fishing guides who were both excellent, and she also sent us to an amazing waterfall hike in an area most tourist don’t know about. It was a challenge to find the location the first time, mostly because we weren’t able to get there before dark. Roads are quite steep in areas and a couple spots made us thankful for our 4WD rental car. Definitely recommend having that for traveling around here. Once we got to see the area in the daylight it was no trouble getting around. Highly recommend Katrin and Villa Leonardo!

We had a fantastic stay at Katrin's place in Costa Rica! The home was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We especially loved the incredible views and waking up to the sounds of the local wildlife—it made the experience feel truly authentic. Having a washer and dryer was such a wonderful convenience, especially during our trip. Katrin was an exceptional host. She responded quickly to every message and was always kind and patient while answering my many questions before and during our stay. One of the highlights of our vacation was the authentic Costa Rican dinner that Katrin arranged with a private chef. The meal was absolutely delicious and gave us a memorable taste of the local cuisine. We truly had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica, and Katrin's hospitality played a big part in making it so special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend her home to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at Katrin’s place! It was very clean. Large space with a great pool. We were able to see Howler Monkey’s and Capuchin’s right out the back deck. It felt very private. Katrin was helpful, friendly and respectful. A little tricky to get to but if you follow her instructions you will find it no problem! Thank you for a great stay!

We were really happy with this accommodation. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had everything we needed and that had been advertised. The swimming pool overlooks a magnificent view that allowed us to see monkeys. Very memorable for both kids and adults!

The place is heavenly and very quiet; you feel like you’re in the jungle, and you can clearly hear all the animals around you. Located halfway between Quepos and Espadilla Beach, the place is ideal for enjoying everything the area has to offer, including Manuel Antonio National Park. The house is perfect, well-equipped, and the private pool is really nice. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely stay! We were traveling with our children, who enjoyed the pool. Also great for us to cool off after an active morning. Katrin is very responsive and helpful. It is a nice house in a beautiful area! By car, you can quickly reach restaurants, for example. Upon arrival, we saw all the cute skull monkeys 🥰

A lovely location and a beautiful villa that was spotless upon my arrival. The pool is fantastic with lovely views of the trees and monkeys swinging through the canopy. Katrin is lovely and very helpful with organising trips and transport while respecting your privacy. I would definitely stay at Villa Leonardo again.

Great host, super nice place to stay!

Katrin's home was exactly as pictured. Very spacious, enjoyed the full kitchen and AC in the rooms. While we were in the pool we saw a family of monkeys moving through the trees and many birds! The home has an exterior gate, felt very safe and was peaceful. Location was great, very close to Quepos and short drive to Manuel. Make sure to follow Katrin's directions to find the home, NOT the Google location as this will cause you to pass it. Katrin was very responsive and we would definitely recommend her home!

It's a spectacular place, close to everything, private, very clean, and equipped with everything.

Villa Leonardo was everything we expected and more! it was clean it was lush and tropical. as soon as we checked in we saw a squirrel monkeys white face monkeys, howler monkeys, Scarlet macaws, every gecko you could dream of, iguanas, and frogs. My three children absolutely love the pool and all of the amenities provided. Katrin brought us freshly harvested fruit and had lists of recommendations and was willing to book anything that we wanted her to. The location was great. Access everything in quepos in about 10 minutes. I'm sure it is much more walkable without kids. but we had a rental car so we didn't need to walk anywhere

The house is in a peaceful setting surrounded by jungle, where we were able to see monkeys, peccaries, and lizards. The house is very well furnished in a very charming setting. It is located near Manuel Antonio National Park. Katrin is very friendly and very responsive when needed. Definitely recommended this house.

Katrin’s place was absolutely beautiful! The apartment is spacious, comfy and well equipped and it was amazing to see incredible wildlife like macaws, toucans, hummingbirds and howler monkeys from the lovely swimming pool in the garden. Katrin is a brilliant host, very attentive and quick to respond to a few queries we had. She kindly arranged a special wildlife tour for us with a local company and sent us on our way with freshly harvested fruit when we left. Highly recommended place to stay for anyone wishing to visit Manuel Antonio National Park or surrounding areas!

The house and pool were absolutely beautiful and it was in the perfect location. Most attractions and restaurants were just a 5-10 minute drive at most. Lots of delicious restaurants and stores within walking distance which made it easy to either go out to eat or cook something at the house. Our Host was also great at communicating and did great accommodating us and helping us out with any questions or recommendations. I would definitely recommend this Air B&B to anyone staying in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.

We LOVED our stay! Katrin is a delight and even though she was right below us she always made it feel like we were there by ourselves. She made us feel at home. The place is big, the rooms are big and the AC worked great. I loved the pool, wow. Best part! In the jungle too! We would DEFINITELY come back and stay here, it was amazing! Truly no complaints!

Very nice place Close to the Manuel Antonio parc. The pool was awesome and the kids really enjoyed it. We could see monkeys from the pool in the trees close to the pool. Kitchen ok for cooking . Some restaurants also few minutes away by car. Great place to stay .

Katrin was the perfect host! From booking to goodbye, she was incredibly responsive and proactive, even introducing us to her adorable dogs who greeted us warmly (though we definitely won't admit we bribed them with treats) The home itself was a total standout and even nicer than expected. It felt like staying in a luxury, private treehouse. Listening to the sounds of monkeys and frogs while sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the jungle was so calming and just what we needed. The pool was the perfect way to wind down, and while the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped for a chef's dream, we were too busy exploring to use it! One tip: definitely follow Katrin's specific directions instead of relying on GPS to find the place.. I definitely would recommend this jungle getaway!

Our stay here was amazing, the accommodation was very clean, had everything you need in good condition for self catering. We found 5 restaurants that you could walk to within a few minutes and then you had the main town which you could walk to with many more but it is a very steep hill which we didn’t attempt. It felt very private, the pool was lovely to take a dip in to cool off and admire the jungle and wildlife. We had visitors which kept us entertained, squirrel and capuchin monkeys, macaws, humming birds and a toucan amongst some lovely little geckos and some lizards. Katrin recommended a great boat trip and we even got to see whales - highly recommend if you are a nature lover - thank you again Katrin

Katrin's house is absolutely beautiful and it is thoughtfully and very well appointed. Everything that one can think of or need are provided. The house, garden, pool and surrounding area are so peaceful and only a very short 5 minute walk to the main road and buses to the beach and town. We saw howler monkeys, white faced and squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws and toucans daily. Katrin is a wonderful host and even went out of her way to arrange transport for us from San Jose airport as well! We already booked to come back for next year!

We loved this little house on the edge of the jungle! It was perfect for the two of us. We loved having air-conditioning in the bedrooms, sitting by the pool was heavenly and we loved watching geckos on the patio at night. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and everything needed to cook meals; the Wi-Fi is strong; and we didn’t mind the geckos in the bathroom at night! Would love to stay again. We were lucky enough to be visited by monkeys on her last morning along with a scarlet macaw and toucans. It was a perfect end to the trip. We highly recommend iced lattes with almond milk at Luna Llena Collectiv Art Cafe Boutique, a 7 minute walk, and the spa treatments at Rain Drop Spa are stellar!

Beautiful place! Loved the pool, the views, and the wildlife around were amazing! It was a little far from town and the restaurants, so we ended up renting a car, but that was my fault for thinking things were walking distance. I didn’t research before. She helped us book tours, gave us a lot of information. Katrin lives on the property in the basement so she was always available when we had questions or needed something.

This is a nice 2-bedroom house where everything just worked. Nice pool to hang out by and well laid out. Everything was great and I can highly recommend it to other guests :)

The location of the property was a wonderful mix between jungle and in the town of Manuel Antonio. There is a ton of wildlife in the area. I really enjoyed waking up early to spot birds from the backyard. Really amazing for birding. Katrin was a great host who helped coordinate services, which resulted in an amazing visit to Manuel Antonio. We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the property. Katrin was very helpful and very responsive when we needed it most.

AMAZING in every way! The host was my favorite ever. She greeted us, gave us ideas for things to do, and even left us some fresh frozen fruit from her garden for smoothies. This stay was a highlight of our whole trip and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! So much nature to see from the pool - including monkeys!!! It was so cool. A one-of-a-kind experience. House far from the center equipped with every comfort for an excellent stay and surrounded by nature. We used the barbecue and the table outside to eat, it always creates a unique atmosphere. The house is really fantastic, everything is clean and cared for. The pool is a real cure-all when you return from daily activities. Super recommended!

We loved our stay here. Conveniently located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Set off the main road in a very lush setting! We saw so many monkeys playing in the woods across from the house! What a treat! The pool was also a nice treat after a hot day! The house was comfortable and had all the basics but not a lot of extras (4 towels for 4 people and no coffee or extra garbage bags kind of thing). Only other thing I missed on the description which was probably my error is that the AC is only in the bedrooms. Both the bathroom and laundry room have screens and bars on the windows but no actual glass so it is humid and warm- at least while we were there. So the house stays warm until bedtime. This is our first time in Costa Rica so maybe this is to be expected! We would return and stay here again though!

The house is absolutely perfect, in line with the photos and ideally located, close to everything. We even had the chance to attend a small monkey show right next to the house, by the jungle – a magical moment! Our host was very attentive and was kind enough to book us a guide for Manuel Antonio Park. The guide was lovely, knowledgeable and made our visit truly memorable. Only one small detail: the beds are a little firm, but it did not spoil our stay, which we found exceptional.

We spent a week at Casa Endor - myself, hubby and 2 teenagers! We absolutely loved it 😃 From the moment we arrived we were blessed seeing the wildlife up close. Lots of monkeys, iguanas, coatis and birds. It was really peaceful and the pool was wonderful- we spent a lot of time in it! The house was really well equipped, we cooked quite a lot to try to save a bit of money 😅 Katrin was always responsive to any issues we had and organised us a fab guide for visiting MA national park. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area 🤙🏽🤙🏽 Pura Vida 💟

We had such a magical time at Villa Leonardo! Katrin’s place is gorgeous! Hearing the sounds of the jungle and being visited by Capuchin Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Geckos, and Bats made our visit even more special! We especially enjoyed the pool and the lush backyard! The house was well-equipped with everything you could need for a comfy stay. It was so nice of Katrin to stock the freezer with frozen Guava and Bananas for making smoothies! We enjoyed it very much!

Very satisfied with the accommodation, the super comfortable accommodation, first-class facilities, I really relaxed in their pool/jacuzzi, I hope to return. It also has an excellent location near restaurants, points of interest, less than 15 minutes from the Manuel Antonio nature reserve, many thanks to our host Katrin.
