We stayed for 2 nights after Christmas and the place is amazing. There is plenty of space and amazing views! Loved that we had access to 2 parking spots and was an easy 15 min walk downhill to the centro. Alex had an amazing house cleaner Marisol who met us and was lovely and very helpful. She was also there to help us check out. The house had everything we needed and only sad we couldn't stay longer. Great for the price and in a very safe gated area on top of the city.

The home was beautiful and a perfect place for my family to stay while enjoying the city during the Dia De Muertos celebration. Marcela was very kind and helpful, she helped us with directions and recommendations. The home is located on top of a mountain and is only about 10 minutes downhill to the city center. The way up is steep but it is also easily accessible via taxi if you prefer not to walk . I highly recommend this home - would be happy to return in the future.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The decor are art pieces. The location is not in the center of the town so it’s pretty private and peaceful.

Wow! From the moment we walked in to this Airbnb we were amazed and impressed at the space and the incredible decorative professional and traditional Mexican design. Marcela who greeted us made us feel comfortable and at home with her warm and welcoming smile. Alex sent all of the information we needed when needed. The house was more than we expected - so enchanting! It was also only about a 10 minute walk downhill to the center of town. Being uphill the views of the city of Guanajuato were amazing but that did make for a strenuous but do-able walk back home. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

This place exceeded expectations! The view was breathtaking. The place was huge and great decor. I felt sad when I had to leave. This was the best possible place I could have stayed at in GTO. The internet was a little inconsistent but minor issue. I would recommend all who can should stay here. Coming back to this place at the end of the day was such a pleasure.

this place is exelente starting starting with the view of the upper terrace overlooking the city the decoration I charm the rooms are quite spacious and cosina also with its very comfortable room. The only thing is that it has three levels something that for someone with knee problems it is a little diffisil but of all things is exelente of we give a 10 the whole family that we have ,grecias 😍

Everything spectacular

The house is very nice, with a design and decoration typical of Guanajuato and that is identified with our traditional national mestizo. Very cared for and thoughtful of the details and functionality for Mexican or foreign tourists. Thank you very much Alex.

We had a great stay. my biggest issue was in arriving because I was unfamiliar with the tunnel system in Guanajuato. We got a bit lost and it was close to impossible between my Spanish and my contacts English to quell my anxiety. That said the stress of figuring it out was only about 15 minutes before GPS and some common sense were able to get me to the house. From then on the place was fantastic. We will likely book this house again.

While Guanajuato is incredible to explore I could have spent the weekend in this house and been happy. It is such a beautiful building with such history and offers everything you need for a perfect stay. It was the perfect place for my friends and I while in town for a wedding, easy to walk to the centre, and the perfect refuge for nice family meals together. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had lots of natural light. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Alex is very responsive.

The stay at Alex's place was fantastic. The house itself was beautiful and very spacious, with high quality furnishings. Unlike many other Airbnbs we've stayed at which can feel very corporate, Alex's place clearly felt lived-in and had all of the amenities and thoughtful design that one would expect from a real home. Other delightful aspects of the house: The view from every level of the house was amazing. Several large containers of bottled water waiting for us at check-in. Very friendly/proactive communication from the host Alex. He truly went above and beyond in dealing with our questions. Everything in the house, including the linens, was spotless. Inside a gated community, which made the house felt much more secure, but still only a 10 minute downhill walk into town (walk up is uphill but you can easily catch an Uber). All in all, one of my best Airbnb stays and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in GTO.

The house is beautiful, very Mexican and very typical of Guanajuato and makes you live the experience since you enter. Super spacious and comfortable beds and very clean rooms. It was super easy to access since the person who gave us the keys was in the subdivision and was quick to respond to our messages to arrange it. We went on Day of the Dead so the city was full and there was no parking, so the proximity to downtown was a hit because we were able to walk and take an uber back that made it easy to get to the house. A 10/10, and a great choice for large groups a great choice. We'll be back for sure!

This place was great!! It is situated up above the city with great views. The house is very spacious and well equipped. It sits in a small gated community that feels very safe. Alex the host was very helpful with advice on transportation and places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay in Guanajuato and it is perfect for larger groups. We felt right at home.

Alex’s home was amazing. There were 8 of us in our family stayed here comfortably. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, well designed. Views from the roof overlooks the city. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It sits above the city and we walked to the center each day. The walk back is up many stairs but you can take a taxi. Hosts were very communicative and wonderful. We are already talking about coming back again.

Alex's place is ideal and very comfortable. The check in was smooth and Alex always kept in communication with us. The home is in a gated community and we felt very safe. The property also had parking for 2 vehicles. You will fall in love the home interior decor. I highly recommend this property.

Everything was beautiful, the house was exactly as described and very clean. Thank the location was perfect and just a few minutes from the center of town. Alex was very helpful, super communicative and even let us arrive super early because our flight arrived early and he drove us around the first morning as well and dropped us at breakfast!! He also recommended some great breakfast spots and it was just a great trip overall. He made sure we were comfortable and got where we needed to go. We hope to be able to go back in the future.

Alejandro’s home is exactly as described. The home was absolutely beautiful. There was artwork in every room of the house, so much history. We had everything we needed to have dinner with all of the family. The view was spectacular, walking distance to shops. I definitely got a work out going back as it was uphill. We had issues with hot water the first day but was resolved immediately.

Where to start…. The view is just breath taking, you get a glimpse of the entire city. Staff was extremely generous and was available for our every need. Great location in gated community. House has a unique style, like an Hacienda. The only thing that bothered me was all the neighborhood dogs barking at night. Hard to sleep with all dogs in the neighborhood barking at the same time.

The house is amazing! All the rooms are beautifully decorated. Very clean and well thought out. Amazing views from the roof and great amenities. Our family of 8 stayed comfortably on this amazing property. The owner and staff are all great people and easy to work with.

One of the best places you can find in Guanajuato City. The house is beyond special. All the details, the comfortable beds and the views of the city are amazing. As you know, the city is hilly and the house is located up a hill. It took us about 13 minutes or so to get to the first square to get coffee and food. There are a few street vendors in the first square which make the best breakfast and very inexpensive. The hike up is about 15/20 minutes but not horrible. Our 70 year old parents did the walk several times and they just considered it a mild workout. You always have the option to drive up and down, but we just felt it was easier to walk. Alejandro and his team are super nice and are available to offer any food or travel destinations. I really enjoyed the tidy-up service every two days. I’m a huge fan of Guanajuato City for its easy walkability and and this house was perfect for us. It was perfectly situated with zero noise from cars, vendors, and tourists. Be aware there is no A/C in most if not all homes in Guanajuato. Alejandro can provide fans for each room if needed. We will be back!

We were attracted to the house because of it's design and decoration, as well as the view of the city. Our expectations were met...not just a beautiful place but decorations with real history. The view of the centro historico's New Year's Eve fireworks show from our Master Bedroom balcony was really a treat. Would highly recommend this home for a family or multiple couples.

Alejandro's place is absolutely incredible. The house has special detailed decor with an incredible view of the city. Alejandro was quick to respond to any questions we had. My family had the best time in Guananjuato and a huge part of it was due to this beautiful home. Norma is amazing and welcomed us with a warm smile. Her hospitality and willingness to help coordinate tours and taxis for the whole family was beneficial. We loved this home and cant wait to come back and stay here again. The house is located 10 minutes from the center of Guanajuato, it has capacity to receive from 8 to 10 people, super equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, 4 rooms, the whole house is decorated very nice, very recommended for rent.

The house has a gorgeous view and is close enough to walk to the touristy sections of Guanajuato. The home itself is beautiful, with so much attention to detail. Alejandro was an excellent host and met us to check in. He was flexible even when it took us longer to get there from the airport than expected. It was a wonderful experience!

Guanajuato is a safe University city with great night life and tremendous culture. Going to visit the Mummies is a must! The city is European style with outdoor restaurant seating and roaming entertainment, people of all ages were happy and just hanging out day and night. The house was very large and had amazing views of the city and craftsmanship in the construction. The house had incredible art pieces deep in Mexican culture within the 4 bedrooms and all around the house. Many great places to meditate. Each room had its own full bathroom and the kitchen was large and full of all the cooking essential items and amenities. The house was very close to downtown, we really enjoyed walking to downtown and seeing the locals. The host was very kind and responsive, he answered all questions that came up. I recommend without hesitation this place and will book again when I’m in town.

If you are planning a trip to Guanajuato, this home is the right place to stay. At first you may think it is a place to sleep, but it is much more than that. Short of being a museum, you can experience the area's tradition with paintings from local artist, traditional tableware, and more. I don't want to ruin for you, if you are planning to stay here, while you have your glass of wine, you may spend some time just looking around and finding all kinds of interesting historical treats.
