This place was phenomenal and was able to host all 16 of us perfectly. Extraordinarily clean, beautiful location, private, and safe. It was larger than expected, the two main houses were incredible and the pools the best. A taxi service was used to get into town and was absolutely worth it. Great price too! The host was super responsive and they were able to accommodate all our requests and provide suggestions as well. Could not have gone better. (Be careful on the patio when exiting the pool, very slippery if your feet are wet)

This home was very spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our group of 19 people!!The hosts were attentive and responded quickly whenever we had questions. We experienced a couple of minor issues during our stay. The kitchen lights stopped working, and although one of the pools was clean, the water had a green tint, so we were only able to use one pool. I let our co-host know, and by the next morning they had fixed the kitchen lights and arranged for housekeeping, which was a great gesture. Other than that, the listing was exactly as described, and the photos accurately reflected the property. Overall, we had a great stay!

Definitely recommend for big groups. Service was awesome. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating.

12 of my friends and myself stayed at Ruben’s and we had a great time! There was plenty of room for everyone and each room was spacious enough for suitcases and hanging clothes. Each room was clean and the bathrooms were nice. Each room had AC. We had an issue with one of the fridges but the other fridge worked just fine! We had concierge waiting for us to greet us and give us a lay of the villas which was nice because not all of us arrived at the same time so it was helpful that concierge was there to let in my guests before me. Daniel was able to get transportation ready to go and on time for all of our excursions. Having reliable transportation was a great and much needed addition. Also offered really yummy food spots and was on time with all replies. All in all, it was a great stay and all of my guest enjoyed themselves. We would all stay here again! Don’t forget, Tulum is a jungle and you are emerged in wildlife.. There are critters and wildlife around! A great stay overall!

Had a really great stay at this mansion in playa del carmen. Our concierge Daniel was extremely helpful. He was very timely in his responses and flexible in his assistance. He helped arrange transportation for us and otherwise made our stay very enjoyable.

Great stay overall! The mansion was perfect for our group, and the host Daniel went above and beyond helping with logistics, including arranging transportation, grocery shopping, a private dinner, and quickly resolving any issues that came up. A couple of minor drawbacks were that the shower water never got very hot and a few rooms were being renovated, but neither impacted our trip in a meaningful way. Excellent hospitality and communication. We’d definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for a larger group. We had 20 people for a bachelor party and it easily accommodated everyone for sleeping and large group dinners at the Airbnb. The two pools got a lot of use and we silent plenty of time catching some sun and place. Easy to walk to the downtown strip of Tulum and shuttle/taxi drivers easily accessed the Airbnb. Great vibe, fun place for photos, and it was smooth check in and check out.

Property was great! Wish some of the communication regarding pricing on transportation was a little more transparent, but all in all no complaints otherwise

I spent hours looking at Airbnbs for our large group of ~20, and this one was perfect!!! It’s an extremely beautiful house and most of the rooms have their own bathrooms, also incredible location that’s walking distance to the main road in Tulum. Most of all I just loved that we could fit our group into one space without it feeling cramped, and the overall layout of the property made it all feel connected vs. other places I looked at that were less conducive to people getting together in one space and hanging out. The communication with the hosts was also amazing, they went above and beyond to respond to requests— a couple of things were initially broken when we arrived and they came and fixed them right away, also answered all of our questions. Daniel especially was hugely helpful with planning for our trip as a local & helped coordinate vans / cars for our group. I would 1000% come back if I ever had a reason to. Highly recommend.

Good mansion in Playa, good location

It's 2 houses in 1; it's huge and very comfortable for my whole family. The warm swimming pool. In general, I highly recommend it.

This place was phenomenal! Looked like the pictures! The host Jonathan was very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful home and big enough for our party. Quiet & safe neighborhood. Will definitely book here again. We had issues with water but Jonathan responded quickly and fixed it quickly. Overall a good stay and look forward to next year booking here again.

We had a fantastic stay for 21 of us! There was lots of space, and everyone was comfortable. The team was very responsive. Water was a bit delayed in arriving so we had to buy our own water, and external issues caused a power outage (nothing to do with the home itself), but besides that, the place fit our needs. The private chef experience is a little pricey for what we received, but worth doing.

It was the perfect place for that celebration and the service was very clear and accessible. I am grateful to have been part of this experience. We had an amazing stay at this house in Tulum. The property is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for large groups — we were 12 people and felt very comfortable the entire time. The rooms were great, well laid out, and ideal for both privacy and hanging out together. The location is super central, which made getting around Tulum easy and convenient. A huge highlight of our stay was Jonathan, the concierge — he was absolutely amazing, incredibly helpful, responsive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We had such a great time and truly loved the place. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a group.

What an amazing space to host friends and family for my 50th birthday! The compound is spacious, very tranquil and close enough to town that we walked to central Tulum in 15/20 minutes. Expect the occasional power outage, but that’s Tulum. We would absolutely come back!

My family (18 of us!) travels together every year, and in the past 5 years of staying in Airbnbs, Greco is by far the best host we have ever had. He is genuine, incredibly responsive, and pays close attention to our needs. The house is beautiful, with more than enough space to accommodate our large group comfortably. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property in Playa del Carmen, and Greco was a huge part of that. From the moment we arrived, he treated us like personal friends. He gave us a full tour of the property, helped us to arrange an incredible private chef experience, and made airport transportation seamless. The A/C units do shut off every 3 hours, but they’re so powerful that the rooms cooled down in just minutes. The house itself was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the space was perfect for our big group. The private chef experience is a must!! the food and hospitality were outstanding, and everyone in our group said it was the best meal of the trip. The location is perfect, with great restaurants, stores, and even a little bar with live music down the street. We absolutely loved Playa del Carmen, and this Airbnb (and Greco ofc) helped make our trip unforgettable. We hope to be back soon!

Huge space! Kind of a unique layout with bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms all spread out over 3 floors. Lots of room and privacy, good kitchen with dining table for 16. Great living room area for all 3 generations of us to gather for games and karaoke. Had a blast. Be prepared for lots of stairs which are always challenging for me, but I made it work. Good maid service. Some good mom and pop restaurants and shopping in the immediate area and 10-15 minute walk to downtown Playa and public beach which is actually better than being right in the middle of it all. Everyone slept well. Driving into the neighborhood will not impress you (safe, just not fancy) but the house will. Digital front lock which is actually important for a big group. Greco was very happy to help any way he could. Very good guy and very responsive. All in all a great stay.

Greco was an amazing host. He was very responsive and very attentive. Unfortunately we lost power during our stay for one night but, he was constantly doing his best to keep us informed of the situation and even got a generator to help. Totally recommend!

The location was excellent, conveniently close to city attractions. Greco and Jonathan were very responsive and helpful. A few guests experienced some low water pressure in the shower, though this appears to be easily resolved. We were not informed that one room was under construction, which was an unexpected surprise. Overall, I would rate my stay a 4.7 out of 5. I would highly recommend this place for large groups. My group of twelve each enjoyed their own private space, with the exception of two individuals who shared a room.

We booked this place to celebrate a weekend with our family and friends for our wedding. From the beginning, communication with Greco and Jonathan was amazing. Jonathan and his wife helped us a lot with the organization and good recommendations. The place is just as in the photos, super clean and well maintained. I recommend this place and the hosts 100%.

My friends and I loved Hacienda Zalama and highly recommend it. The villa is centrally situated, near a few very good and non-touristy restaurants and bars, is clean and very pretty; it looks just like the photographs. Greco was extremely helpful from the very beginning, including by organizing our airport transportation arrangements, putting me in touch with a chef for arranging meals and someone to arrange tables and tickets to clubs/concerts). When we arrived, Jonathan was there to help each of us settle in and was super responsive to all of our requests. I highly recommend Hacienda Zalama, Greco and his team!

Great Place, Greco was a great host, place was very clean. About a 20 min walk to get to the main 5th ave, or catach a taxi on the road and its about $100- $200 pesos for a ride. I will say a few things I noted that wasn't clear in the listing: The "Hot tub" on roof does not actually heat. Also one of the bedrooms was not practical for our group- the queen bed in the main house. This bedroom was split into two "rooms" by a sliding barn door. So the king bedroom has to walk by the queen bed to access its bathroom (which only has a half swing door for privacy). The queen room does not have a closet or AC unit, so you'd need to leave the door open to let AC from the king room into the queen. Not a big deal, but not great for people who arent close and prefer privacy, maybe better suited as an option for family members or kids. Luckily there were so many rooms, we didnt need that bed for our group. Overall we would book again, thanks!

Greco’s is an amazing host he was very responsive and gave me and my group local places we should tryout. The Villa was beautiful and well maintained very accurate to the pictures that were posted. Overall a seamless experience from start to finish if I’m in the PDC area again with a large group his Villa will be my first choice.

Greco is all class. Great service and even better guy. Responsive for all transportation, recommendations, groceries needed and communication overall. House is large and secure. The neighborhood isn’t great. Probably 15-20 blocks too far away from the beach clubs and 5th Ave. Greco took the right steps and ensured our safety but just walking around outside was alittle dicey. Locals only. That did not take away from the experience but it’s worth noting. Greco arranged all shuttles to & from the airport, our boat day, chefs dinner @ the house and any taxis needed to go out to the club. Great bachelor party and Greco is fantastic.

No words can ever explain how easy Greco made my experience in planning a 12 person trip to this beautiful escape! Greco is definitely the most kind host I have ever met and dealt with. Anything I needed help with, he was one text away. As for the home, what a dream. Plenty of rooms for everyone, full kitchen for cooking, and lots of area for fun. The glass catwalk was a show stopper. Can't have imagined booking any other place. This home was about 5-7 mins away from great eats and about 20 mins from 5th Ave via walking. I would definitely recommend having a good pair of legs for the stairs you have to climb in the Airbnb and walking to all the spots nearby. Can't wait to come back and stay for longer!

Let me say the Host, Greco, was amazing as he there upon arrival, walked us through the house to ensure we had proper understanding of how things work, and upon exit he was very flexible on our check out time as our flight was later in the day. He was very responsive to all our requests and especially when it came to suggesting places to go eat as well as club to attended. He even would make all our reservations and follow up to make sure we got to our locations safely. Would highly recommend the space.

Loved the place, great for big party’s coming to visit Tulum. Close enough to downtown but enough distance to feel away from all the noise. Highly recommend this place for bachelor, bachelorette parties.

Great private place to stay. Highly recommended for multiple families or big event. The house was super clean and has lots of rooms to stay in with a private mini guest house downstairs and studios to the back of the home. Greco is one of the best host our family has dealt with, quickly responded to our needs, very friendly, professional and excellent service. Tere the house cleaner was a plus! She even did our laundry one time which saved us lots of time! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Playa del Carmen. Thank you for everything Greco!

We had such a great time at Hacienda Valencia! The location is great and really close to everything you’d need in tulum but not in the hustle and bustle and noise of the town. The house and pools were clean and perfect to lounge around all day long. Our hosts were great! They accommodated all our requests and checked in every day to make sure we had everything we needed. We booked chef Esmeralda and Allan for a night and the food was so good! I recommend booking them on the first or second night because you will likely have a lot of leftovers (her green sauce is amazing!). We will definitely try to book here again if we come back to Tulum.

I'm delighted to share that our stay at Hacienda Zalama was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped onto the compound, we were captivated by the beauty surrounding us. The architectural brilliance is evident in every corner, creating an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. One of the highlights of Hacienda Zalama is undoubtedly its two magnificent pools, nestled perfectly into the landscape. The property manager, Jonathan, further elevated our experience. His warm hospitality and attentiveness made us feel like royalty throughout our stay. Every need was met with a smile, and the level of service exceeded our expectations. I will comment some of the shower handles are backward. If you're not getting hot water from one side, try switching to the other. They do provide some bathroom amenities, but they are travel-size. My wife does recommend taking your own hair dryer and hangars. I highly recommend Hacienda Zalama to anyone seeking an extraordinary getaway in Tulum.

One word. AMAZING. We were desperate to find a place for our big family after an airbnb in Cancun went horribly.. and then we came across Greco’s listing. It’s beautiful, centrally located (we walked to the Quinta ave every day, various times a day), it’s safe, quiet, even better than the pictures. Do yourself a favor and stay here! The cleaning service was awesome and Greco was super responsive and helpful! I made the booking around 11pm the night before and mentioned I had a baby and if he had a crib. When we checked in (Greco was nice enough to give us an early check in) there was a crib for my baby. He helped us find a laundromat and a ride to the airport for the group. I can’t say enough great things about Greco and his beautiful villa! If you’re thinking whether to stay in Cancun or playa, stay in Playa and stay at Greco’s place!

We were 19 people in the house, the space was great, the house has everything you need to cook, every bedroom and bathroom in perfect condition. The size of the pool is perfect, Jonathan is very attentive to everything. I would highly recommend it, I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay - would highly recommend for any group! My husband and I booked this airbnb to host our wedding party and their SOs for three nights before our wedding. It was perfectly central to cenotes and xcaret parks and had a great open space for all of us to just hang out and chat in the evenings. There was also privacy for each couple to retreat to their own bedroom and bathroom. There was a cleaning crew that came every morning which was very much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel to playa del Carmen with a group!

The reviews are true when they say the host is what made this stay at this beautiful property worth it!! I had my bachelorette here with 18 people and it was a huge success largely because of Greco. He coordinated all our events and transportation, and has many resources that whatever you need (groceries, reservations, etc.) was easily acquirable. He was very easy to communicate with him, whenever we had a question or issue he would come immediately in person. The sweet, trustworthy cleaners who come every morning was an AMAZING factor of this trip as well. It makes such a difference to wake up to a clean house every morning. Location is solid as well, it's walking distance to many restaurants, we never felt unsafe while we were out. Short 5 min drive to the main party strip AND the beaches/beach clubs. We really all had such a great time and I'm so glad I found Greco's property! If you're planning a bach, or a huge group vacation, look no further, this is the spot!!!!

Greco was amazing to work with! He helped organize transportation and activities for my group. He was such a joy to work with. He made sure to check in with us. There were a couple of hiccups with the house but Greco was on it. The maids were extremely helpful and the massages were amazing! We were able to easily accommodate my group of 16. It was also in an area that was walkable to local restaurants and to the tourists area.

First, the communication was impeccable. Greco is an incredible host and was always available/quick to respond to any questions. He worked with us for months to coordinate activities and he scheduled all of our transportation to and from the airport as well as to and from the airbnb for scheduled events. He set up a personal chef, which is a must try while you are here. He also coordinated massages, club reservations and a private boat rental all of which were amazing experiences. The villa itself was gorgeous and exactly like the pictures. The space was clean, big, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We had a group of 18 and everyone slept comfortably. The rooftop was beautiful and a great place to hang out as a group. The location of the Airbnb is a short walk or cab from the beach/main shopping area. I don’t know where to begin! This place is exactly as pictured. Hacienda Zalama perfectly accommodated our group of 15 and we had lots of extra space. Months before our trip, Greco was so nice and reached out to me asking if I need help on booking transportation, tours, etc. He booked local shuttle transportation and a reservation to Buuts Ha Cenote Club. He also put us in contact with private Chef David which we did 1 night. I highly recommend, we loved it. Once we arrived, Jonathan was already there waiting to greet us. Told us everything we needed to know. He made sure we were taken care of every single day!! If there was any questions about the houses or around Tulum, he always responded so quickly and helped us out as soon as he could. We appreciated Jonathan so much! You are awesome! Overall truly amazing hosts and made our stay the best could’ve been! They did a great job at communicating with us and checking up on how we were doing throughout our stay. Thanks again!

Obviously our stay at the Villa itself was outstanding...Beautiful rooms, high ceilings, open spaces, etc. But what stood out the most was Greco and his hospitality. We are a group who travels often for work, so as this stay wasn't for vacation, it was extremely helpful to have Greco's assistance. He arranged ALL of our local travel while in Play and even went out of his way to grab groceries for us as our schedule was fairly tight during our stay. When traveling out of the country, it can be difficult to trust and depend on others, but Greco made what could have been a stressful work trip a relaxing and smooth experience. You can depend on Greco and his team for an outstanding trip in Playa!
