We stayed in Tamarindo for a week at Brenda’s home and couldn’t recommend it enough. The home is clean, welcoming and has all the amenities you can think of. It’s in a beautiful complex with a few other units and being outside, by the pool is so peaceful! Brenda was super responsive and a very helpful and understanding host. The location is unbeatable - steps from the beach and great restaurants. We loved our stay - thanks Brenda!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The location is amazing—just a 5 minutes walk to the beach in a quiet, upscale area. Supermarket and Restaurants 10 to 15 mins walk Very clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. House can accommodate 8 people. There is also an airbed provided. The air loses after few hours but it’s manageable.The property has a small pool perfect for relaxing. We also really appreciated the thoughtful extras provided by the owner, including board games, beach chairs, a beach cart, boogie boards, beach towels, washing and dish liquids, which made our vacation days so much easier and more fun. The owner responds if you have questions quickly. Owner allowed us grace time to use the pool shower and change room on the day we checked out as kids still wanted to do surfing late after checkout If you rent golf cart to move around it becomes super easy to travel around Overall, a wonderful place to stay, and we would definitely recommend and come back

Brenda was responsive in answering the questions we had about the place and amenities. She also helped us schedule transportation to and from the airport. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable the whole time. We loved that we could walk to the beach within a minute. We loved Tamarindo and Costa Rica.

We loved it and would stay their again. We moved to another location for 2 days at the end of our stay which was more expensive but our grand daughter and friend liked Brenda’s place better. We would 100% stay their again

We've stayed at several of the casa blanca properties and this was definitely our favorite! Clean and spacious! The outside area was perfect and the small shed with all the beach supplies was amazing! Right across the street from the ocean and far enough from town to avoid to craziness, but close enough to walk in. We loved our stay! Thank you!

We had an incredible time staying here. The gardens are beautiful and private, the kids loved the pool area, and it was a short walk to the beach and downtown area. Brenda was extremely responsive and we had everything we needed — thank you!

Staying at Casa de Valencia was awesome. It is apart of a 5 unit condo type living with a shared pool. The home both inside and outside was very well maintained and clean. Outside is managed by a separate property management company and they are on site all day, every day. Each condo unit has a private outside space where you can eat al fresco and hang outside unbothered. We had and used a BBQ. We used the boogies boards, wagon, beach chairs, balls, blow up floaties for the pool and beach - it was very well equipped. Inside, each room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the cooking tools most people use including a blender for fruit smoothies! There was plenty of toilet paper for 6-7 people for the week and the home came with dishwasher pods, laundry soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There are many nearby restaurants and the best part was that the beach is basically right across the street which was fun for the kids to check out high/low tide daily.

We had an amazing experience at Brenda’s place in Costa Rica!! Casa de Valencia exceeded our expectations. Brenda’s place had everything we needed and more! Minutes to the beach, perfectly situated between Tamarindo and Langosta. We walked to everything - restaurants, groceries, surfing, sunsets! Our kids, ages 17, 18, & 20 loved the freedom of coming and going on their own and we never worried about their safety. Brenda’s place was very well equipped. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, volleyball & frisbee. The pool was also lovely. The outdoor patios felt very private even though other families were also staying in Casa Blanca. Brenda recommended two activities - surfing with SALT surf company and La Leona waterfall adventure with Nervin. Both were excellent. Our family can’t wait to return to Costa Rica and we will definitely stay at Brenda’s place again!

This was our second time to stay at Brenda's place! We love it! We feel right at home and love the space for our family of 5! So much to do within walking distance or a short drive and her place is always spotless and welcoming. The staff that works on site is super friendly and does a great job with upkeep.

The best recommendations for both the house, the surroundings and especially the location. Walking distance to everything, but very quiet and idyllic.

What a fabulous space! We enjoyed our time here immensely. It is just out of town enough that it is quiet, but close enough to walk into town for those that want to. And, right across from the beach!! The kitchen garburetor did not work when we first tried to use it, we messaged the host, and they had someone there within an hour to look at it and it was fixed the next day. Incredible response time and all the people we interacted with were great. Highly recommend this space for your small groups or family trips.

Amazing time, great location, easily walk to the beach right across the road was an access point. Easily walk downtown to snd from at night. Assortment of beach chairs, frisbee, football, and beach towels made for an amazing time for my friends and me! Best way to celebrate going into our 30’s! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. Incredible location - just steps from the quiet end of Tamarindo Beach. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, markets. Casa Valencia is really great! Very well located; in a quiet corner and just a short walk to the beach! We enjoyed the pool for the warmer afternoons. The accommodation is very well equipped! We had a wonderful time during our stay. Very comfortable and accommodating. Absolutely loved and reccomend Sophia mediterraneo restaurant next door for breakfast or dinner. Our highlight was our drive to Playa Avallana and Lola's as well as surfing. Truely beautiful undeveloped beach. Great location and easy walk to the beach. Nice to spend the day on the beach that is much less crowded than the north end of the beach. Although we loved Witches Rock Surf and surfing off the mouth of the estuary, finish with a beer and lunch at Volcano Brew Co. Uber's were very easy to get very timely and affordable. Other highlights, Thursday moonlight market, food truck court ( watched the superbowl ) Sharkey's and karaoke, catamaran tour, eastuary tour, El Chiringuitos and Tabu for sunset dinner or cocktails. The people are awesome and very friendly. Very safe to walk. Overall loved the experience and had a great time. Thanks so much and highly reccomend.

We loved Brenda’s Air bnb! It’s very spacious, nice rooms, well stocked kitchen and beautiful spacious living room area and outdoor spaces! The beach nearby is definitely the best for swimming- we loved it. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short, safe 10-15 minute walk to the hub with more restaurants and nightlife! I would definitely recommend her place and wouldn’t think twice about staying there again! Brenda was fantastic to provide tips and always quick to respond. Thanks Brenda!

Brenda was an amazing host! She provided us with helpful information about the house and city from the time the reservation was made until the check out day. Casa de Valencia was very clean, had everything you may need, and easy access to the beach and restaurants. The surroundings outside the house were beautiful! It provided a very peaceful atmosphere. The pool was clean and our grandkids enjoyed it. Staying at Casa de Valencia and Brenda made our visit to Costa Rica comfortable, convenient and perfect for our family!

Brenda was a great host. The only issue was the water not running sometimes. The property management team did get this fixed while we were there. The cleaning staff also did our dishes and laundry (we couldnt without enough water) and then we water after that. I believe the water shortage was a regional problem, not malfunction of the property itself

Our family loved the home. Spacious, comfy beds, beautiful grounds,. Perfect location, the beach is just across the street, 10 minute walk into Tamrindo town center. Our teenage daughters and one of their girlfriends loved it too. Something for everyone. Host was responsive, gave us tons of info about the area, their favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and great hand-out that included favorite day trips and excursions. We all had a blast! Loved this airbnb!! Brenda was an amazing host - she provided us with tons of information to make our stay in Tamarindo memorable. The airbnb itself as well was amazing - it is gated, and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is also a 10 minute walk from the main downtown area with all shops.

We were in Tamarindo with our daughter and her family for a wedding. It was perfect for us and only a two minute walk to the beach. We highly recommend Brenda’s place!

My friends and I had a lovely stay here! The place was perfectly located in the town, and was a quick walk to the beach and to restaurants and bars. The villa felt very private and had a lot of space both inside and outside. The local office was extremely responsive to a water issue that came up (we had been warned ahead of time this was a possibility), and it got resolved very promptly. Would absolutely recommend this place to any large group of friends looking to stay in Tamarindo!

Brenda's place is excellent, exactly as in the description and perfectly accommodated my family. Tranquila, spacious and with everything necessary to make us feel at home! Very comfortable. The swimming pool and the beach a short walk away were fundamental for children. We really had a good time, and We would be back for sure.

I don’t even know where to start! We had a wonderful, wonderful stay. Brenda’s place was clean, comfortable, beautiful and absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Easy access to the Tamarindo beaches, restaurants, and shops. Brenda’s recommendation for a full day with Nervin as our guide was a tour to remember. He took us to the chocolate/coffee farm, La Celeste waterfall hike, sloth preserve and lunch with butterflies. The private pool was warm and our kids loved playing in it after a day at the beach. This was our first time in Costa Rica, and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back! Pura Vida

We had a great time - apartment had everything we needed, including kids beach toys which was super helpful. Great location - close to beach, walkable to town but we also rented a golf cart. Nice and clean, pool was great, property was very well maintained, and safe! Only critique has to do with noise from neighbors upstairs - could hear heavy footsteps/furniture moving but would still highly recommend.

Wow!!! This was my favorite airBnB experience ever. The best word I can use to describe is PERFECT. I felt like we hit the lottery getting to stay here. From the moment we booked, Brenda was super helpful and friendly, and gave us all kinds of wonderful recommendations for the area including the best dining options which we greatly appreciated as foodies. We didn’t have a car and were able to walk to a perfect beach within minutes and stay as long as we wanted (it gets hottt in Tamarindo and there is limited shade) but the house was just a few minutes walk and a jump in the nice cool relaxing pool was perfect in between to stay refreshed. The furnishings and decor throughout were comfortable, artsy and classy. The patio area and outdoor dining area are super cute and private- of the few villas in this community, I think Brenda’s is the best! You can sit on the patio and look at the pool but feel very private from other guests. Thank you for sharing your magical home, Brenda!

The condo and pool area were perfect. You could mingle with other condo residents or just take quiet time with good seclusion on the outdoor patio. Proximity to the beach was very close and easy access. The management company RPM was excellent in addressing any issues or requests. The condo is well laid out I would highly recommend it for its value , aesthetics and overall comfy feel. Brenda is an excellent host and addressed all inquiries and concerns as well. Will definitely book again.

This is a welcoming home in a beautiful location. My family (6 adults and a baby) enjoyed it a lot. The kitchen is huge so we cooked a lot of meals there. The pool was one of the highlights along with the lush tropical surroundings. It’s walkable to many restaurants and so close to the beach. Brenda and Kevin were helpful and responsive via message when we arrived as we had some questions settling in. The property is well maintained and the house is cleaned every few days. There is a separate rental property upstairs and you can sometimes hear them moving about. We found that the trundle bed is best suited for one adult. The lower bed is quite creaky. Everyone we met who stayed in the villa was so friendly! Overall we loved it and would recommend staying here!

An absolutely perfect spot that was impressively well equipped for my family. From the beach towels and wagon to bring to the beach right across the street down to a fully equipped kitchen. We were so impressed with the accommodations! Brenda and Kevin really thought of everything to make this place convenient. Their property management company communicated very well and do a fantastic job. The location was perfect - just outside of the busy part of town but close enough to walk anywhere. We brought small kids and I would consider renting a golf cart next time to avoid walking in the heat - which was an option though the property management company we didn’t take advantage of. We even saw monkeys and iguanas every day right outside the home in the trees too! The restaurant right next store, PanDeli/Sofias has amazing coffee and pasties we ate nearly everyday, and the service was incredible. Highly recommend this stay. It was perfect!

An excellent location and villa. We would highly recommend this place. It was super close to the beach. Close to the downtown to enjoy, but far enough away that you were not bothered by the noise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Brenda’s place was exactly what we were looking for - spacious enough for 5 adults for 1 week, tucked away from busy Tamarindo but close enough to enjoy the restaurants and shops, a short walk to the beach, a lovely pool oasis and a beautiful atmosphere with lots of plants, birds and monkeys! Brenda was extremely communicative leading up to and throughout the stay and provided amazing recommendations that made our trip so wonderful! The pool is shared but is such an amazing respite from the heat, surrounded by lush plants and palm trees for privacy and all our neighbors were lovely! The outdoor spaces were great for playing cards, having dinner and just hanging out. Every need we had was met by Brenda’s slice of paradise and we hope to return again one day!

This is a great place to stay with a family. It was safe, clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home. The hosts have gone the extra steps to make things as easy as possible- like for example quick drying beach towels and a wagon to bring toys or chairs to the beach. We referred often to their list of recommended restaurants and shops. The beach was really just a few minutes walk and the pool was fun, too! I would go back!

This place checked every box for our two little families that stayed here. Location was excellent. You really are 2 minutes to the ocean and 5 minutes from town walking. Very secure property. We utilized property management company for airport shuttle to and from and they were great. While we were there the keypad for the front doors' batteries died and a maintenance person was there in a heartbeat to get in and fix it on a Sunday. Communication from the owners with local recommendations and answering all our questions was top notch. Great spot. Highly recommend and we would definitely choose to stay here again!

The apartment is located in a small private complex. The apartment is very well appointed and very nicely decorated. You feel at home. The path to the beach is around the corner. We would book again anytime.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, a very short walk to the beach and town center but far enough away to feel like we were in a quite street. The pool was perfect and the kids enjoyed the opportunity to cool off after the beach and first thing in the morning. Living room was comfortable and the rooms were great. She had it stocked with everything you need, and was very responsive and helpful. She gave lots of recommendations and made our stay so easy and enjoyable! We enjoyed our stay. We would certainly come back again. The location was perfect for our needs - just a little outside of the busy town center but close enough to the action to walk to dinner. We parked our car during the stay and only used it once. The small pool was really nice and we used that daily. There was ground staff working on the garden who were very friendly and helpful. The beach access was almost directly across the street. There were no chairs, and chair rentals were not available at that section of the beach in May when we visited. We didn’t have a problem, but if we spent more time, we might have gotten a pass to the Longosta Beach Club across the street. Or maybe asked about possible chair rental closer to the access point. Overall, it was a lovely stay and Brenda’s place was a great home base.

Casa Valencia was our home for a week with our two grown kids and their partners. We had everything we needed for a great week of cooking, pool time, beach time, and great nights sleep. AC worked very well, home was clean and comfortable, host and vacation rental company were both proactive and responsive to questions. I highly recommend this rental, we couldn't have been happier!

We were on a girls trip celebrating a 50th birthday. The host provided a wealth of information for the house and area including tours and restaurants. The beach was close to the villa. There are no beach chairs but we had two come with our golf cart rental. We liked having the golf cart rental and if you choose the electric golf cart we needed two extension cords to reach the outlet. The pool was relaxing and a great spot to chill with friends. Our only issue was there is construction next door so it periodically got loud. We saw monkeys in the trees next to the villa. So cool! We primarily used US currency. Most places took credit cards. Our only complaint was they had no shot glasses. We ended up buying some for our use but you may want to consider packing your own. The farmers market on Saturday is awesome. We got some great produce there. Waffle Monkey is the bomb and accessible via the beach. Our trip went too fast but definitely enjoyed our stay here!

Beautiful place! So nice it was hard to find motivation to go to the beach. Our 5-year-old preferred to stay at the house and play in the pool than go to the beach. Between Brenda and the property management company we felt there was an abundance of help at our disposal. Beds were comfy and bedrooms provided nice privacy for everyone in our party (8!). We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo! The location was excellent, enough off the beaten path not to be overwhelmed by the noise and activity in central Tamarindo but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Tamarindo was a little busier and more developed than we expected, so we were relieved to be a bit outside of the central area. The condo was clean and well stocked, and we loved the quick walk to the beach. The pool was lovely, and we saw a large family of howler monkeys traveling through the trees on our last night - incredible! We loved the local recommendations Brenda provided for restaurants and activities. We also enjoyed walking south and found a great shop called Fish & Cheese with amazing sandwiches, pizzas, and some pantry items for a simple dinner in one night. We absolutely loved our stay! So much so, we are already planning a trip back. The property is an oasis - close to the beach, restaurants, shops, whatever you may need. The condo itself is well stocked and offers a lot of space, even for a family with small children. Can't wait to come again!

Brenda's place is worth every single penny. I live in the US, but my family is Costa Rican so I am very aware of how expensive Tamarindo can be. The photos and amenities speak for themselves and you get what you pay for. If you are on the fence, do it.

Perfect location about 400 yards from beach and less than 1 mile from town. Quite, clean, easy, stress free rental. No doubt will come back to Tamarindo, and would not even look anywhere but this airbnb!

One word: AMAZING!! This stay was exactly what was advertised and more!! To start, they offered a secure shuttle service (+$) from Liberia airport to the villa and an amazing guide to all things Tamarindo (shopping, eating, do's, don't, suggestions, cautions - everything!) Brenda's villa was a great central location to everything (restaurants, shopping etc) and was within a walkable 10-15 minutes via road or beach walk. The villa is within a gated compound which created a very safe environment! Brenda's villa had everything required from towels, extra linens, kitchen accessories to make a full home cooked meal, in suite laundry, AC, movies provided, sunscreen, bug spray etc! Everything to create a home away from home (with a maid service!). Check in/out process was very simple and not overwhelming and Brenda did an amazing job at communication and was always accessible for any additional questions throughout our stay. 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait to go back!

A hidden gem in Tamarindo! This home has everything you need for a wonderful stay - plenty of clean linens, a well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The patio is perfect for your morning cup of local coffee and unwinding each day amongst the gorgeous, tropical garden. We stayed next to our friends who were in Casa Blanca #1 and highly recommend both homes.

Casa Valencia is a great destination for visitors to Tamarindo! Located within five minutes of the beach and just a short walk to a grocery store and all of the many bars and restaurants in town. It's the perfect size for a small group with a perfect pool and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Everything was absolutely gorgeous. From the house itself to the staff, the pool and the 2 minute walk to the beach, we could not beat it. The house sleeps 6 comfortably with three rooms. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart and make sure you reserve one weeks in advance because they sell out super fast. This resort blows away anywhere else we stayed. The pool is deep and right next to the villa. Perfect for couples or families. Definitely coming back!!

We had a great visit to Tamarindo! Brenda’s place was very clean and 6 of us fit very comfortably. Our group felt safe the entire time, as the complex is gated. Our only recommendation would be to rent a car or golf cart to get into town, as the walk can be a bit far. Otherwise, wonderful experience!!

Was close to town but not in town which was great for us and our kiddos. Laundry is a 100% must which was great here.

Casa Valencia delivered! It was located just outside of town where we could get a great night sleep but close enough to get in quick. The beach was right across the street! The house was very clean and had everything we needed in it and more. Also she provided the best recommendations when it came to excursions and food. I would definitely recommend this place for you Tamarindo trip.

We loved our stay!! The day we checked in, the refrigerator broke but the management company was super quick to get it fixed and even refunded us some money without even having to ask. That was really nice. The house was clean and well kept. Our kids loved the short walk to the beach and playing in the pool. The activities recommended were awesome too. The kids had a blast riding the ATVs, surfing, ziplining, horseback riding and fishing. The location of the house was perfect for our family. A short 10 min walk to downtown. We walked into town quite a bit. We felt safe at all hours. We would totally stay in this house again.

This beautiful home was everything we had hoped for and more! The house was immaculate with lovely decor and modern amenities. The beach is basically across the street ( about a block to the beach ) and restaurants were within walking distance. There is lovely landscaping and multiple patio areas to enjoy. The house is located in a gated complex that has a security guard. Our host, Brenda, was readily available by phone, for any needs we had. We couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Beautiful place! Everything was as or better than expected. Great amenities, fresh linens and towels. Fully loaded kitchen and really appreciate the extra sunscreen! Felt very secure and all the staff was very friendly. Loved the blender for cocktails :)

The house is clean, safe, and very conveniently located directly across from the beach. Walking into the town by beach was really convenient and enjoyable. The apartment was very clean and just as advertised.

This was a lovely, clean casita very comfortable for the 6 of us. I loved the easy beach access and the not too long walk to town on the beach or by road. I liked being a bit away from the Tamarindo hubbub but still having easy access by foot day and night.

This house was a perfect fit for out family. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, close to many restaurants. It had all the comforts of home. There was a notebook that had recommendations for things to do, places to go and recommended restaurants. We were there for almost a week and had a great time. We will be back!
