Studio in Playa Flamingo

beautiful view- yes!! Do not expect to feel secure. only a curtain between you and the downstairs house, no door, no lock and yes, someone was living downstairs somewhere. No blender, wine glasses or way to heat food unless you use a pop up toaster. Fridge is outside, miscellaneous frozen foods in freezer. No shampoo, conditioner, shower gel as listed, only a bar of used soap. Coffee pot was dirty, had to clean used grounds from previous guests before we could use. was asked for more$- against airbnb policy. also preferred Whatapp communication-also against airbnb policy. did not see any beach essentials or bikes. is not directly on the beach. AC worked good. bathroom is pretty. Fridge which is on the patio was cold. would not recommend, all of Costa Rica has beautiful views!!

The view is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. We were able to walk to a small beach, shops and restaurants. It felt like a safe neighborhood and overall a fine stay. The gps map via Airbnb was not accurate. Make sure you get detailed driving directions from the host before trying to find the property. He was gracious to give us directions on the phone while we drove to find it. We were asked to pay an undisclosed cleaning fee off the app to someone on the property. I believe that is a violation of Airbnb policy.
