Situated in the heart of Tamarindo, this beautiful condo offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Located just a five-minute walk from the famous Tamarindo Beach, it provides a peaceful retreat away from the busy town center while still being close to all the action. The quiet neighborhood is ideal for families seeking extra privacy. The breathtaking sunsets here might just convince you to extend your stay.

The Space

This bright and elegantly decorated condo combines the natural beauty of Costa Rican wood with modern furnishings and local artwork. It occupies the third and fourth floors of a 16-unit building.

Both bedrooms feature private ensuite bathrooms and are furnished with comfortable pillow-top mattresses and pillows with protectors for your comfort and peace of mind. Each bedroom is equipped with its own air conditioning unit to ensure restful nights after a day at the beach or pool. Keeping the doors closed helps maintain a cool temperature in the rooms.

Occasionally, you may wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys nearby.

The Wi-Fi router is located on the balcony of the blue room. Although the network is not password protected, it is secured with perimeter restrictions to prevent outside access.

In the living room, a custom L-shaped sofa provides a comfortable spot to relax, read, watch TV, or browse the internet. The backrests slide back to convert the sofa into two twin beds. Grey fitted sheets for these beds are stored in the wash closet shelf. Note that the fitted sheet fits the flat couch area, not the back pillows. Extra pillows and blankets are available in the green room closet.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary cookware and appliances. For outdoor cooking, a communal grill is available near the pool, with grilling tools stored in the bottom right cabinet by the stove.

Beach towels are provided for your use at the pool or beach. A cooler is stored in the wash closet for your convenience. Several floats and an electric pump for inflating and deflating them are also available. Please discard any floats that become damaged and shake out beach items before bringing them inside.

Yoga mats are provided in the living room. An outdoor shower is available on the property to rinse off sand after a day at the beach or pool.

A powder room on the main floor offers added convenience for quick trips from the pool area.

For longer stays, a weekly cleaning service is offered on a day of your choice. Access arrangements will be coordinated with you.

Guest Access

During your stay at Los Sueños III, you have full access to the entire condo and shared amenities, including the centrally located pool.

Parking spaces next to the property are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Free street parking is also nearby.

The complex is secured with a locked gate. You will receive a code to access a lockbox containing the gate key upon arrival. For after-hours arrivals, lockbox details will be provided. A $25 fee applies for lost keys.

The unit itself has a unique code that changes with each guest, along with a physical key. This code will be shared with you before arrival.

You are welcome to use all items in the unit, including condiments, oils, and spices. If you have unopened leftover food at checkout, please leave it for the cleaner instead of discarding it.

Access to the owner's locked storage within the unit is not permitted.

Pool and common areas are open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please keep noise levels low if you are outside during quiet hours.

Additional Information

The condo is located on the third floor and is accessible via wide stairs. A light switch for the stairwell is located on the first floor. The unit itself spans two floors.

Please be environmentally conscious:

• Do not flush hygiene products such as tampons, pads, personal wipes, or paper towels, as most areas in Costa Rica use septic systems.
• Toilet paper is strong; courtesy flushes are appreciated.
• For stays of four weeks or longer, electricity usage is capped at 800 kWh (approximately US$190) to encourage responsible air conditioner use. Any excess charges will be billed to guests. This allowance is sufficient for reasonable use of air conditioning and the washing machine.

Guanacaste Province often experiences droughts from December through April. The water company may implement rolling water shutoffs to conserve resources. This property has a backup water tank for such times, but guests are asked to conserve water by turning off faucets when not in use, reusing towels, avoiding unnecessary laundry loads, and promptly reporting leaks or running toilets.

A retractable laundry line is located just outside the front door.

Power and internet outages can occasionally occur; your patience is appreciated as service is restored.

Insects and Wildlife

As a tropical location, occasional ants may be present indoors. If you notice a significant number, please inform us so we can place ant traps. Outdoor ants play an important role in the ecosystem and should be left undisturbed.

Cockroaches are native to Costa Rica and may occasionally be seen indoors. Their presence does not indicate poor cleanliness or infestation, as they do not live in groups. Cockroach spray is available on the property if needed.

Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside, as raccoons and skunks in the area may rummage through trash.

A local cat named Calie frequents the property. If you have food scraps, you may leave them near the stairwell where she can safely access them. She is shy but appreciates the kindness.

Nearby events include:

• Thursday Night Market: Located in the Tamarindo Gym parking lot, just a four-minute walk away, featuring local artisans, international food vendors, and live performances.
• Saturday Farmer's Market: Held at Oneida Park in downtown Tamarindo, offering fresh, locally grown produce and farm-to-table products.

Local farmers also sell their goods along Tamarindo’s streets throughout the week.

Oneida Park has been recently upgraded with a skate park, basketball courts, and shaded seating areas.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby Hacienda Pinilla’s par-72 golf course, set along the Pacific coast amid beautiful Costa Rican scenery.

For adrenaline seekers, options include zip-lining, mountain ATV tours, and white-water tubing or rafting in the Guanacaste region. Popular day tours are available upon request.

Tamarindo is well-lit and generally safe, even after dark. Most crime is limited to petty theft such as pickpocketing or unattended valuables being stolen from the beach or vehicles. Always keep your belongings secure and lock your accommodations when you are out. If you drive to the beach, store valuables out of sight or leave them at the condo for added security.
