The house was the most relaxing place that we have ever stayed. The view is absolutely breathtaking. It was easy to get into town for restaurants, the beach, groceries or anything else you need. I would definitely get a 4x4, the road to the house is a little rough, but definitely worth it. There are plenty of activities close by or you can simply relax by the pool listening to the birds, howler monkeys and the ocean below. Shannon was very responsive and Luis the house manager answered any questions we had immediately during the stay. Highly recommend!

Das Haus ist toll und hat eine schöne Lage mit tollem Blick. Zufahrtsstraße etwas holprig und unbefestigt aber machbar. Shannon ist ein klasse Host und Louis hat jederzeit geholfen wenn wir Fragen hatten Jederzeit wieder Pura Vida

Wunderschöne Aussicht, toller Pool inkl Dusche, sehr schönes Schlafzimmer mit einmaligem Balkon, schöner Aussenbereich mit guten Liegen, sehr schöner gedeckter Esstisch draussen und gemütliches Aussen-Sofa, praktische Waschmaschine und Wäscheleine. Das Kinderschlafzimmer war eher etwas veraltet und düster, die Küche war ok. Sehr viele Insekten und Mücken im Haus.

Beautiful spot, looking out over Samara Bay. Secluded and quiet spot, close to town (if you have a car) with modern, comfortable home to spend a week with the iguanas and coconuts. Well appointed home with ceiling fans on main floor, AC in both bedrooms.

We had a lovely stay at the House of G. Favourite things about this place were the views of the ocean, the mix of fruit trees, hearing howler monkeys, bird watching (and listening), and the modern architecture. Air conditioning was only on the upper floor bedrooms, so the upper bathrm was hot and the lower level got pretty hot too. The ceiling fans helped and so did the breeze. On the plus side, it forced us to use the outdoor living space more than we probably would have if the lower level had a/c and the pool/outdoor shower offered a quick refresher when needed. The place required a key transfer from super friendly Luis. It would have been easier and more private if there was a lock box setup, but then we wouldn’t have met Luis, so key swapped worked out just fine. We found it easier to make the quick drive to Samara than walk, to avoid walking on the narrow main road. It was easy to find on street parking in Samara. Thank you Shannon for hosting & Luis for managing the property!

La vue était spectaculaire, la plus belle que nous ayons eu la chance de voir ! Notre arrivée a été très facile grâce à Luis ainsi que les activités. La communication était 10/10. L’endroit était parfait, et que dire des singes hurleurs chaque matin ! 🫶🏽 La piscine était un gros plus pour les enfants. Merci à Shannon d’avoir partagé sa maison avec nous. Pura Vida
