Amazing host and house!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Ana’s house. The place was beautiful with the most amazing view. It’s a little nerve racking driving up to the house because of how steep and narrow the roads are so I would recommend driving to and from in daylight hours.

What a great stay in Playa Hermosa! The view was spectacular, the house was gorgeous, spacious and well appointed, and the beds were really comfortable. Every bedroom has its own en suite and there are two additional bathrooms, so the house would be great for a large group. (We were six.) I read some comments beforehand about lukewarm showers but this wasn’t an issue for us - they were nice and hot once the water had time to warm up. I got a little nervous before our arrival because there weren’t many recent reviews about the house and I didn’t receive the exact address from the host until the night before our flight, but it all worked out and the house was even better than we’d hoped! Previous reviewers didn’t exaggerate - the road up is VERY steep and winding, and the driveway down to the house is intense, but it was fine after the first drive. Not good for nervous drivers, but we would stay again in a heartbeat! Great meals at Father Rooster’s, Ginger’s, Coco Viquez. Pura vida!

Beautiful place with amazing views! Perfect for an adult couples weekend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was absolutely spectacular. Very clean, and great cooking amenities. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the ocean and bay were incredible and could be seen in every room. Ana was extremely responsive and let us check out late, which allowed us to have a wonderful last day of vacation. Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful beach and great restaurants within 5 minutes of driving. Road is steep but we rented a Rav 4 and had no issues driving to the house.

Amazing house with the most beautiful sunset!

Lovely place to stay for large families.

We had a lovely stay at Casa San Juan. The house is beautiful and the view and sunsets are spectacular. The house was very clean on arrival and appeared like the photos. The beds and linens were comfortable and upscale feeling, as were the furnishings throughout the house. Layout was perfect for two families with kids. The pool is great, although a little smaller than expected from the photos, but that didn’t affect our enjoyment. The house sits high on a hill, and the road/driveway is very steep - but it was no issue after a couple trips. The gated development felt secure and we tried out the community pool once. Ana Lucia was very prompt with communication. The pool needed a little attention when we arrived at the house and she sent someone to address it promptly. Only downside to the stay was that only one shower was hot, while the rest were lukewarm/fairly cold. Ana Lucia also sent someone to help fix this issue but it wasn’t resolved. We chose to carry on enjoying our vacation!

The house was as stunning as the pictures! Ana was UNBELIEVABLY responsive, and never annoyed with all of my questions. The positive reviews are ALL accurate! We didn’t love playa Hermosa beach or coco beach but drove to Papagayo beach a few times which was absolutely lovely!
