Yosue was always very quick to respond and always proactive. We had some last minute requests for cleaning and laundry and housekeeping arrived within less than an hour to do our laundry and clean. The view is just as the photos. First day we saw a sloth in the tree directly in front of the balcony and had monkey visitors on our last morning! What a treat! We will stay here again without a doubt. ❤️

I loved my stay in Costa Rica and couldn’t have asked for a better view. The layout was perfect, and we had such a great time. Everything about the trip was incredible, and I’m really grateful for the experience! Josue was great for setting us up with activities to do!

Excellent views. Central location to the beach as well as restaurants. John and Yosué provided lots of recs and were able to answer any questions we had. There were some issues with one of the bathrooms but John and Yosué were quick to respond and fix the problem. One thing to note is that there is only AC in the bedrooms. For us it wasn’t an issue because there was a nice freeze and ceiling fans, but if you need AC, it’s something to consider.

Stunning home, truly unforgettable. Gorgeous decor, perfect everything, unbelievable views and experience -- howler monkeys, stunning macaws, 3 species of toucans, all directly in front of the home! Adored every second of our visit, so much to do but we also wanted to spend as much time as possible in our amazing home. Host extremely helpful and responsive; lovely little local residential neighborhood, with restaurants up the hill. The nature and wildlife truly incredible. We plan to come back!!

This is one of the most unique, absolutely stunning spaces we have ever stayed at. The open air concept was so refreshing and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. I would come back and stay here every single time! Yosue was so helpful and kind, offering many suggestions and even found our sons nintendo switch outside and kept it safe for us. 10/10

Without hesitation, we recommend this absolutely beautiful house. From the cleanliness, comfy furniture, amazing views, wildlife sightings (and sounds) and great proximity to town, it doesn’t get much better than this! We loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat! Book now. You will not regret it!

The good: the location can’t be beat. Great ocean view and wildlife. The bad: Dishwasher didn’t work. One bedroom fan didn’t work. The amenity listed as central AC was only in one room. The ugly: so much water damage on the drywall in most rooms and outside eaves. There was also a tarp on the roof. Not at all what we expected for a highly rated penthouse and for the price we paid. The unexpected: When the listing says “open air,” it really means the downstairs area except for the 2 bedrooms is completely open to the outside. One wall has no doors and no way of closing it off. When we arrived, the host explained there were locks on the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator to keep the monkeys from coming in and getting your food. The first night we were there, I found a bat on the wall in the kitchen. Highly unsanitary. The last night of our stay there was a monkey in the bedroom wall. I could hear him scratching and then running up the wall and across the ceiling.

Beautiful home in an amazing location. We saw monkeys and macaws from the living room everyday. The villa’s manager, Yosue, was super helpful with the house, and lined up all the logistics for travel to/from SJO. Yosue also set us up with great activities and rides to/from everything. Would love to go back!

Awesome view, loved the wildlife, and the host was super responsive and helpful! He helped us plan tours, a chef, and more. Would visit again!
