The villa was truly one with nature. Monkeys, Macaws, Toucans, a Sloth(!), the mountains, the rains, and the ocean were the entertainment for our 4-night stay. The view is spectacular. The villa's decor was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was ideal for quick drives (and even walks) to restaurants, bars, ATMs, and the grocery store. The air-conditioned bedrooms made sleeping comfortable. The cleaning crew did a great job, and the laundry service was a nice amenity. Bring a Bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to music (unless you travel with CDs). A couple of appliances need servicing, but we weren't there long enough to worry about it. A few maintenance issues came up, which I'll attribute to the low/rainy season. Yosue responded to our needs and replaced the hot water heater.

Beautifully located villa in a quiet neighborhood. The only neighbors you hear are the howler monkeys greeting you with a “good morning” every morning! The views are absolutely stunning, with both jungle and beach views from the open-air living area and rooftop. I loved the open-air concept and being able to enjoy the fresh beach air throughout the villa. Even the two bathrooms allow you to open the doors at the rain showers and enjoy either the jungle or beach view, depending on which bathroom you’re using. There is also a nice sunbathing area on the rooftop. The only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not working properly. With such an incredible view, it was heartbreaking not to be able to fully enjoy the jacuzzi and scenery. Yosue, the concierge, was wonderful, great communication, quick responses, and proactive about checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and nice linens. Overall, a beautiful villa with incredible views and peaceful.

Our stay at John’s penthouse was not smooth. We encountered various maintenance problems and if it hadn’t been for the efforts from management in trying to fix things along with a requested discount from us, given, I would have ranked this 3 stars. The penthouse is situated in a great location with spectacular views of the jungle and ocean on two levels. The aspect of this is the best feature of the apartment. Waking up to the wildlife noises and hearing the sounds of the ocean was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately the penthouse itself requires various maintenance to make this a truly wonderful place. The dishwasher is rusted out and looked like it hadn’t been working for some time. The fans were not working in both central areas on both floors, the air conditioning in one bedroom was sluggish. The showers need to be de calcified as the spray went everywhere and was dripping water for some time when turned off. The fridge ice dispenser broke was fixed and then broke again

Yosue was always very quick to respond and always proactive. We had some last minute requests for cleaning and laundry and housekeeping arrived within less than an hour to do our laundry and clean. The view is just as the photos. First day we saw a sloth in the tree directly in front of the balcony and had monkey visitors on our last morning! What a treat! We will stay here again without a doubt. ❤️

I loved my stay in Costa Rica and couldn’t have asked for a better view. The layout was perfect, and we had such a great time. Everything about the trip was incredible, and I’m really grateful for the experience! Josue was great for setting us up with activities to do!

Excellent views. Central location to the beach as well as restaurants. John and Yosué provided lots of recs and were able to answer any questions we had. There were some issues with one of the bathrooms but John and Yosué were quick to respond and fix the problem. One thing to note is that there is only AC in the bedrooms. For us it wasn’t an issue because there was a nice freeze and ceiling fans, but if you need AC, it’s something to consider.

Stunning home, truly unforgettable. Gorgeous decor, perfect everything, unbelievable views and experience -- howler monkeys, stunning macaws, 3 species of toucans, all directly in front of the home! Adored every second of our visit, so much to do but we also wanted to spend as much time as possible in our amazing home. Host extremely helpful and responsive; lovely little local residential neighborhood, with restaurants up the hill. The nature and wildlife truly incredible. We plan to come back!!

This is one of the most unique, absolutely stunning spaces we have ever stayed at. The open air concept was so refreshing and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. I would come back and stay here every single time! Yosue was so helpful and kind, offering many suggestions and even found our sons nintendo switch outside and kept it safe for us. 10/10

Without hesitation, we recommend this absolutely beautiful house. From the cleanliness, comfy furniture, amazing views, wildlife sightings (and sounds) and great proximity to town, it doesn’t get much better than this!
