Casa Citrina es un refugio tranquilo lleno de energía cristalina y flores de maracuyá, diseñado para aliviar la fatiga crónica e inspirar energía positiva. Ubicada en uno de los entornos más dramáticos y distintivos de la costa de Costa Rica, la casa ofrece vistas a la Cola de la Ballena desde una finca selvática de 12 acres.

El espacio
Al entrar a la casa, probablemente se dirigirá directamente al patio para admirar la impresionante vista de uno de los lugares emblemáticos más reconocidos de Costa Rica. Los huéspedes han comparado el paisaje con la Costa Amalfitana de Italia y Kauai.
La propiedad ofrece vistas a las zonas de reproducción de ballenas antárticas y de Alaska, creando un entorno excepcional para apreciar la naturaleza.
La casa cuenta con muebles de alta calidad, espacios cómodos y vistas de la selva circundante. Los tucanes cercanos ofrecen una animada banda sonora natural. Debido a que la casa se encuentra a gran altura, hay menos insectos y suaves brisas frescas. Por las noches puede ser necesario usar un suéter, aunque todavía se puede escuchar el sonido de las olas rompiendo abajo.
La cocina gourmet está completamente equipada para preparar comidas. Los contactos de compras en línea pueden coordinar la entrega y el abastecimiento antes de su llegada. Casa Citrina se encuentra aproximadamente a tres o cuatro horas en automóvil del Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría, en San José, dependiendo del tráfico. Los huéspedes pueden alquilar un automóvil en el aeropuerto, coordinar un servicio de transporte o utilizar un servicio local de alquiler de vehículos.
Dos aerolíneas nacionales, Sansa y Costa Rica Green Air, ofrecen vuelos al Aeropuerto de Quepos. El aeropuerto es fácilmente accesible desde San José, y el trayecto de Quepos a la casa toma aproximadamente 40 minutos.
Todos los huéspedes deben contar con un vehículo de doble tracción.

Words can’t describe how amazing this place is. You feel like you are completely isolated and in your own tropical world. Ronald and Martin were probably the best hosts we have ever come across. They were super responsive and had many suggestions for us. The restaurant on the road to the house is amazing. It even had a little grocery store and coffee place. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and we definitely plan on coming back. So many great memories!!!

An out of this world stay with a view to drop your jaw. The home was stylish and we honestly felt we were at a 5star resort. Impeccable in every aspect and the most caring and responsive hosts we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble. The drive up to the 2000ft elevation is part of the adventure which we absolutely loved. Simply incredible. If you are thinking over whether to book, just do it, you will have zero regrets!!

Ronald was an incredible host and this stay was truly something special. The home itself has such a peaceful, grounding energy—you can feel it the moment you walk in. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and the space felt both comfortable and elevated. The views are absolutely stunning and made every moment feel like a reset. Mu estates was also extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the entire experience even more seamless and enjoyable. It was truly a breath of fresh air, and I’m so grateful for the experience. I would 100% stay here again.

Where do I start!! Casa Citrina is a gem!! We had the best week there this past week! Ronald is a wonderful host, very responsive and always checking on us making sure all was well throughout the stay!! The house sits beautifully perched on the mountain where you have a perfect view of the Whales tail, and that view is amazing! Every night we had a beautiful sunset!! The kitchen is very well stocked and we greatly appreciated the local drinks and beers in the fridge upon arrival! The house is very very clean and the beds were comfy! We took two tours through Aracari, one to Nauyaca waterfalls and one on the Mangroove boat tour! Both were wonderful and Ronald set all the transportation for both tours! We were able to see toucans, monkeys, wild hogs and a Tayra all from the back patio!! We used the grill and blacktop multiple times. The Sibu and Scala restaurants were the only two places we dined out at and both were amazing! We will definitely be back!! Also, Martin is also wonderful!

Magical! Looking for something beautiful in the Costa Rican rain forest? This is the spot- a total sanctuary where the wild Osa Peninsula meets high-end comfort. The Highlights: * The Sleep: Genuinely comfortable beds with high-quality linens. After a day in gorgeous Osa crawling into these was HEAVEN. * The Setup: A legitimate full kitchen and laundry made the stay EFFORTLESS. AC and fans in every room. Multiple full bathrooms. * The Magic: The outdoor tubs, the heated infinity pool, the AWE inspiring views of the rain forest & ocean. The house is SAFE. It’s in a gated community where we would run, walk & there is a fitness facility. We never worried about our personal items or safety. This place is literally paradise. * The Hosts: Communication was flawless. They were incredibly supportive & proactive, making us feel totally looked after w/o hovering. If you appreciate the beauty of raw nature, want adventure but want a sophisticated home base, book this immediately! Wow

The views are absolutely incredible—photos don’t do this place justice. We saw wildlife every day, even with kids around! The drive up the hill isn’t for the faint of heart, but it’s completely worth it once you see the views. The hosts were the most responsive we’ve ever had in all our years of booking Airbnbs. We had a couple of cancellations prior to this booking, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating-thank you!! We were so grateful we were able to enjoy this peaceful slice of paradise!

Casa Citrina is simply magical and the photos don’t do justice at all to the beauty at this property! Truly a high end luxury rental, incredibly responsive and helpful host (thank you Martin for meeting us at the bottom of the mountain so we could follow you up!), and details like welcome drinks, beach chairs, board games, and even a pack and play and car seat that made our stay with three small children incredibly comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, a 4x4 and confident driving skills are a must to get up to the property. But the views, privacy, and beautiful wild life made the excursion more than worth it! We will miss the toucans greeting us every morning. Thank you Ronald and Martin, for an incredible stay! Pura Vida!

We loved our stay here! The place exceeded all our expectations. Some mornings we were literally in the clouds, and other times we had a magical view of the ocean and the Whale Tail beach. We were even visited by birds in the early mornings, which made the whole experience feel super special. It really felt like being right in nature while still having all the comfort we needed. The 20 minute drive up the hill was exactly as described and became part of our adventure. We never felt it was an obstacle the way some older reviews mentioned. If you plan for the time, it’s completely fine, and the views at the top make it more than worth it. The team was very responsive throughout and helped with every question and recommendation we needed. All the amenities matched the description and everything worked smoothly. We felt totally safe and loved that it’s a gated community while still giving you complete privacy surrounded by nature. We would choose this place again without hesitation!
