Casa Sunset

Casa Sunset is truly special, with breathtaking 180-degree views and a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the scenery. The home is peaceful, thoughtfully equipped and has one of the best-stocked kitchens we’ve experienced in a vacation rental. We also loved the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler, which we used every day. The location is perfect—close to beaches, restaurants and everything you need, while still feeling private and relaxing. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. The photos are beautiful, but they don’t compare to being there. We would return in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved the house! Our stay was perfect from beginning to end, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave haha! Everything was wonderful, and we felt so comfortable and at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon. Highly recommended! ❤️

This palace was absolutely stunning. I would 100% recommend this place. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers which were an added bonus letting us spend hours at the beach with food, drinks and shade. The evenings by the poolside were the perfect way to end the day.

Well worth it! Home is located in a private and gated community. Close enough to everything you need, yet far enough away for privacy and peace. House is on the side of a hill and has amazing views from every room, plus pool/patio of course. Nice little snack basket for us on the counter at arrival. Some snacks that are local/regional. Plus a little bag of ground coffee. They also had plenty of coffee to use, but we ended up getting our own - we usually hit up a market on our travel day. Kitchen was completely stocked with all of the essentials! They were good quality too, not dollar store type things that break with one use. Grill was perfect too - also had grill utensils! All furniture was comfortable and quality items, including outdoor sofa and loungers. The bonus is the provided beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler! All were used daily! Wonderful stay!

The house is as shown in the photos. It has a beautiful view, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive! I really recommend this place!

This home in Mar Vista was a perfect place for our family of 5. It’s centrally located between Brasilito and Flamingo so it is super convenient to restaurants and a few mini supermarkets. It was impeccably clean, decorated perfectly, and we all slept well on the comfy beds. There were extra cozy blankets in the closet, bathroom toiletries, and a full kitchen. The view at sunset can’t be beat. The grounds were clean and the infinity pool was convenient and fun for my kids all day and evening. We would absolutely stay here again next time we are in town!

Great place and optimal setup

What an experience, great location, impeccable house with all the necessities needed. And the view, pictures don't do it justice, especially at sunset. Had an amazing time and the host was a great person to deal with. Loved our stay.

The House has an excellent design, based on the wide ocean view. The furniture, beds, kitchen, and air conditioners are of excellent quality. The pool is even better than in the photos and the view is very beautiful!! Blue Zone is a very good host. Communication is smooth, clear, and specific, and most importantly, he keeps the house impeccably clean and tidy.

We had a great time and can’t wait come back. The villa, host, concierge and location were great. I love Mar Vista and aspire to retire there.
