Electricity and Utility Information
Please be aware that electricity costs in Nicaragua are relatively high. The rental price does not fully cover electricity expenses.
- For short-term rentals, 25 kWh per day is included. Usage beyond this limit will incur a charge of USD 0.50 per kWh.
- For stays longer than 20 days (monthly rates), electricity is not included in the rental price.
- Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet are not covered in monthly rental rates and must be paid separately.
- Average electricity consumption ranges between 15 and 35 kWh per day.
To help keep costs manageable, guests are encouraged to turn off air conditioning and other electrical devices when not in use.
Additional Notes
Upon arrival, guests will be required to sign an agreement and provide a $200 damage deposit. This agreement confirms responsibility for electricity charges exceeding the included allowance and covers any potential damages to the property.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique à San Juan del Sur du 26 novembre au 17 janvier ! L’hébergement était pratique et comme la description: propre, confortable, bien équipé, et situé à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la plage et du centre-ville. Nous avons adoré être entourés par la nature, pouvoir entendre les singes et les oiseaux chaque jour, ce qui ajoutait une touche magique à notre expérience. L’hôte a été très accueillant et disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Merci spécial à Raimundo et sa femme pour l’entretien et avoir répondu à toutes nos demandes et questions. C’était l’endroit parfait pour profiter de tout ce que San Juan del Sur a à offrir. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans hésiter !"

Nous avons adoré cet endroit. Un peu en retrait du centre ville de SJDS, parfait pour la tranquillité. L'appartement était impeccable, nous avions tout le nécessaire pour y cuisiner durant notre séjour de 1 mois.

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos la estancia en este lugar. Muy acogedor y tranquilo. Carmen siempre estuvo muy pendiente en mis mensajes y a lo que necesitábamos. Reymundo y su esposa fueron muy atentos. Recomiendo este lugar.

The place is a hidden gem, as advertised and the host is very nice and attentive. The person who manage the property physically amazing person and honest. We felt welcomed, Don Reymundo took the time to explain the house rules and he made sure we had all we needed to have a great time. I’m very impressed with this beautiful place.
