A king bedroom, renovated kitchen, and private ensuite create a comfortable retreat in this 1BR condo for two. Enjoy a saline pool and a short walk to downtown Tamarindo.
The Space
Relax in this peaceful and stylish condo that has been recently renovated and tastefully decorated. It features a comfortable king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy seating, and air conditioning. Located within a gated community, Los Sueños II offers a centrally located saline pool and is just a short walk from the lively downtown Tamarindo. Despite its proximity to the town, the condo provides a quiet and comfortable retreat.
Please note: This listing is for one bedroom in a two-bedroom condo, but you will have exclusive access to the entire home.
Bright and elegantly furnished, the condo combines the natural beauty of Costa Rican wood with modern furniture and local décor. The bedroom includes a beautifully updated private ensuite bathroom with custom vanities and smooth-glide glass doors. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided for your convenience.
Both bedrooms feature pillow-top mattresses with protective covers for added comfort and hygiene. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit to ensure a restful sleep after a day at the beach or pool. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed crafted from native wood, ample closet space, and a Juliet balcony where you might hear howler monkeys.
Wi-Fi extenders are installed in each bedroom to guarantee strong internet coverage throughout the unit. The living room offers a custom L-shaped sofa, perfect for reading, browsing the internet, watching TV, or spending time with friends and family.
The renovated kitchen includes beautiful handmade wooden cabinets and comes fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware and appliances. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, the small back porch has a new propane barbecue available for your use.
The breakfast bar is an ideal spot to catch up on emails or work while traveling, though we encourage you to relax and enjoy your stay. Start your mornings with coffee on the front porch, seated in locally made Adirondack chairs while taking in the tropical surroundings. Coffee is supplied for your enjoyment.
When heading to the pool or beach, beach towels are provided. Additional beach gear includes loungers, an umbrella, a cooler, and a wagon to carry everything to the shore. Please shake out beach items before bringing them back inside. An outdoor shower is available on the property to rinse off sand after your day in the water.
A powder room on the main floor offers convenience for quick trips from the pool.
Guest Access
The complex is secured by a locked gate. Upon arrival, you will receive a key for the gate. For after-hours arrivals, instructions for accessing a lockbox will be provided. A $25 fee applies for lost keys.
The unit has a unique access code that changes with each guest; you will receive this code before your arrival.
Guests are welcome to use all items in the unit, including condiments, oils, and spices. If you have any unopened leftover food at checkout, please leave it for the cleaner instead of discarding it.
Access to the owner’s lock-up in the master bedroom is not permitted. Since this is a discounted one-bedroom option, the second bedroom will remain locked throughout your stay.
The pool and common areas are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Quiet hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please be considerate of neighbors and keep noise levels low if you are outside after 10 p.m.
Other Things to Note
Please do not flush toilet paper. Due to the widespread use of septic systems in Costa Rica, toilet paper must be disposed of in the trash to avoid plumbing issues.
For stays longer than four weeks, electricity usage is capped at 550 kWh (approximately $125 USD) to encourage responsible air conditioner use. Any excess electricity costs will be charged to guests. This allowance is sufficient for reasonable use of air conditioning and the dryer.
Guanacaste Province experiences droughts from December through April, which can result in rolling water shutoffs. The property has a backup water tank, but guests are asked to conserve water by turning off faucets when not in use, reusing towels, avoiding unnecessary laundry, and reporting leaks or running toilets promptly.
Power and internet outages can occasionally occur; your patience is appreciated during these times.
Insects and Wildlife
As a tropical location, occasional ants may be seen indoors. If you notice a significant number, please inform us so we can provide ant traps. Outdoor ants play an important role in the environment and should be left undisturbed.
Cockroaches are present in Costa Rica and may occasionally appear inside. This does not indicate uncleanliness or infestation, as these cockroaches are solitary and not like those found in North America. Cockroach spray is available on the property, or you may remove them manually. Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside to discourage pests.
The area is also home to raccoons and skunks, which may disturb trash bins. Please secure your garbage accordingly.

Liane’s place was wonderful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Liane was an excellent host, she provided lots of helpful information about Costa Rica and the local area, which made our trip even better. She was also very responsive and always replied quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We loved our stay at Liane's! The property is impeccably clean, very well maintained and ideally located: restaurants, activities and the beach are within a 5-minute walk. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and simple, which made the process easy and stress-free. Liane is an exceptional host: always available, she responds quickly (in less than 20 minutes) to all questions, which is very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Tamarindo. A simple, pleasant and perfectly organized experience! Thank you, Liane!

We cannot wait to come back, as we truly loved this place. Liane was so helpful, kind, and her preparedness shows she knows how to be a great Air BnB host! She provides a large map, as well as a binder which answers many Q&A’s you might have! If you had interest in something before showing up, the binder may have given you even more reassurance to follow through, where to find the experience, and additional details. The home hand laundry, a comfortable bedroom, gorgeous views of flora and fauna, and fantastic neighbours to boot! The pool was our favourite. We met a little crab poolside, which was a fun little experience. Not sure how it got there, but it was a fun memory to have. Little gecko’s (friendly, cute) would climb on the exterior walls (high up, don’t worry). We enjoyed watching them, and thunderstorms, from the front porch. The house was great, we loved how at home we felt. We loved the ambience of Tamarindo and hope to be back ASAP!

Amazing place! It looked like the house of the 7 dwarfs, it was so charming, and with a beautiful pool in the middle, a beautiful garden around everything, the house had all the items we needed, also the possibility of washing and drying clothes, a large and wonderful bed, hot water in the whole house, including a thermal bag for beer, beach chairs available and also a sun umbrella, (items that make all the difference for longer periods on the beach and we don't find these items in any other Airbnb, we love the availability of these items and the beach was even better!). Tamarindo is amazing and the house is super close, we could walk to the bars and restaurants area without needing a car! We're definitely going back! Ah! There is a barbecue in the house in the back area, well reserved and we made an exclusive roast!!!

Our stay here was lovely. Our favorite part about Sueños II was how quiet and private it felt. It was a great location away from the main traffic and commotion, but also easily walkable to the beach, grocery store, and nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Liane was very responsive and friendly. The condo itself was nice, but a few updates could be made to the interior. Also, it would have been really nice to have beach chairs for the beach, as the people down there make you rent them for the day ($20 but some places could’ve been more). The bedroom and bathrooms were clean and had soap and shampoo and toilet paper. Overall this place was a great little getaway for a few nights and I would come back!
